Description
in der die Summe von (m+n+p+ <j^einen Wert
von 2,002 bis 3,0, π einen Wert von 0,50 bis 1,95, m einen Wert von 0,5 bis 1,0, ρ einen Wert von 0 π
bis 0,5, q einen Wert von 0 bis ' U (m + π+ρ) hat,
R ein Alkylrest mit 6 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen und R' ein t-butylsubstituierter gehinderter
Hydroxyarylrest ist, R" aus der Klasse der niederen Alkylreste, der Cycloalkylreste mit 5
bis 7 Kohlenstoffatomen im Ring, der einkernigen und zweikernigen Arylreste, der einkernigen
Arylreste mit niederem Alkyl und halogenierten Derivaten dieser vorstehenden Reste
ausgewählt ist, 2 j
(2) 2 bis 35 Gew.-% eines Verdickungsmittel,
(3) fakultativ 0,01 bis 5 Gew.-% eines Polyäthers,
(4) fakultativ einer ausreichenden Menge an Base, um das Fett im alkalischen Bereich zu halten
und in
(5) fakultativ für Silikonfette gebräuchlichen Zusätzen.
2. Siliconfett nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es ti
(1) eine Polysiloxanflüssigkeit der genannten allgemeinen Formel (1), worin der Rest R 10
Kohlenstoffatome aufweist,
(2) als Verdickungsmittel eine Lithiumseife einer -tu
höheren Fettsäure mit 12 bis 22 Kohlenstoffatomen,
(3) 0,1 bis 2% eines Polyäthers und
(4) Lithiumhydroxyd, um das Fett im alkalischen Bereich zu halten, r>
enthält.
3. Siliconfett nach den Ansprüchen 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es als Verdickungsmittel
Lithiumlaurat, Lithiummyristat, Lithiumpalmitat »>
oder Lithiumstearat enthält.
4. Siliconfett nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es
(1) eine Polysiloxanflüssigkeit der genannten allgemeinen Formel (1), worin der Rest R 8 bis 12
Kohlenstoffatome aufweist, und
(2) als Verdickungsmittel Lithiummyristat oder Lithiumstearat
enthält.
Die Erfindung betrittt ein Silicoiileit.
Siliconfette sind allgemein bekannt und als Schmiermittel, als dielektrische Verbindungen, Abdichtmittel und als Hochvakuumfette benutzt worden. Diese Siliconfette sind besonders wertvoll wegen ihrer hohen Wärmestabilität, ihrer wasserabweisenden Wirkung, ihrer Viskositäts-Eigenschaften bei tiefen Temperaturen und ihrer dielektrischen Eigenschaften. Bei zahlreichen anderen Anwendungen werden diese Fette auch bei hohen Temperaturen benutzt Während zwar die Siliconkomponenten in dem Fett durch schwingende oder vibrierende Bewegungen nicht auseinanderbrechen, wurde festgestellt, daß dann, wenn die Fette in Lagern Verwendung finden, die schwingender oder vibrierender Bewegung ausgesetzt sind, der von den Fetten gebildete Film unterbrochen wird und einen Kontakt von Metall zu Metall erlaubt. Dieses Problem wurde besonders akut in Fällen, wo Fette auf Petroleumbasis zum Schmieren von Lagern benutzt werden, die schwingender bzw. hin- und hergehender oder vibrierender Bewegung ausgesetzt sind.
Siliconfette sind allgemein bekannt und als Schmiermittel, als dielektrische Verbindungen, Abdichtmittel und als Hochvakuumfette benutzt worden. Diese Siliconfette sind besonders wertvoll wegen ihrer hohen Wärmestabilität, ihrer wasserabweisenden Wirkung, ihrer Viskositäts-Eigenschaften bei tiefen Temperaturen und ihrer dielektrischen Eigenschaften. Bei zahlreichen anderen Anwendungen werden diese Fette auch bei hohen Temperaturen benutzt Während zwar die Siliconkomponenten in dem Fett durch schwingende oder vibrierende Bewegungen nicht auseinanderbrechen, wurde festgestellt, daß dann, wenn die Fette in Lagern Verwendung finden, die schwingender oder vibrierender Bewegung ausgesetzt sind, der von den Fetten gebildete Film unterbrochen wird und einen Kontakt von Metall zu Metall erlaubt. Dieses Problem wurde besonders akut in Fällen, wo Fette auf Petroleumbasis zum Schmieren von Lagern benutzt werden, die schwingender bzw. hin- und hergehender oder vibrierender Bewegung ausgesetzt sind.
Der Erfindung lag die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Siliconfett zu schaffen, dessen Schmierfilm bei schwingender
oder vibrierender Bewegung stabiler ist, als der bekannter Siliconfette oder Fette auf Petroleumbasis.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch ein Siliconfett gelöst, bestehend aus:
1) 61 bis 98 Gew.-°/o einer Polysiloxanflüssigkeit der allgemeinen Formel
worin die Summe von (m+n+p+q) einen Wert von 2,002 bis 3,0, η einen Wert von 0,50 bis 1,95, m
einen Wert von 0,5 bis 1,0, ρ einen Wert von 0 bis 0,5, q einen Wert von 0 bis 1A (m + n+p) hat, R ein
Alkylrest mit 6 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen und R' ein t-butylsubstituierter gehinderter Hydroxyarylrest
ist, und R" aus der Klasse der niederen Alkylreste, der Cycloalkylreste mit 5 bis 7 Kohlenstoffatomen
im Ring, der einkernigen und zweikernigen Arylreste, der einkernigen Arylreste mit niederem
Alkyl und halogenierten Derivaten der vorgenannten Reste ausgewählt ist,
2) 2 bis 35 Gew.-% eines Verdickungsmittels;
3) fakultativ 0,01 bis 5 Gew.-% eines Polyäthers;
4) fakultativ einer ausreichenden Menge einer Base, um das Fett im alkalischen Bereich zu halten und
5) fakultativ für Siliconfette gebräuchlichen Zusätzen.
Die bei der praktischen Durchführung der vorliegenden Erfindung verwendeten flüssigen Methylalkylpolysiloxane
sind allgemein bekannt. R ist z. B. Hexyl, Octyl, Decyl, Dodecyl usw. R' weist die Formel

auf, worin Y aiiigcwdhlt ist aus Wassu siult, nioiiovalenten
Kohlenwasserstoffresten, Hydroxyarylresten, hydroxyarylsubstituierten monovalenten Kohlenwasserstoffresten,
Hydroxyaryläthern, die mit dem t-butylsubstituierten Hydroxyarylrest über eine Ätherbindung
verbunden sind, Hydroxyarylthioäthern, die mit dem t-butylsubstituierten Hydroxyarylrest durch die Thioätherverbindung
verbunden sind und Hydroxyarylmethylenäther, die mit dem t-butylsubstituierten Hydroxyarylrest
über die Methylenätherbrücke verbunden sind. Dieser t-butylsubstituierte gehinderte Hydroxyarylrest
dient als Antioxydationsmittel. Wie aus den Formeln (1) und (2) ersichtlich, hat der Rest R' eine
Valenz-Bindung, die an den aromatischen Kern und an einen divalenten Propylenrest gebunden ist, der
seinerseits an ein Siliciumatom des Polysiloxans gebunden ist. In der Ortho-Stellung zu dieser Valenzbindung
ist ein Hydroxyrest und in der Meta-Stellung ein tert-Butylrest gebunden. In der anderen Meta-Stellung
ist der Y-Rest angeordnet, der vorstehend bereits beschrieben ist. Die t-Butylgruppe ist zur Hydroxylgruppe
benachbart angeordnet und behindert deren Reaktionsfähigkeit. Aus diesem Grunde ist der Hydroxyarylrest
ein sog. behinderter Hydroxyarylrest.
Zu den in Formel (2) für Y möglichen monovalenten Kohlenwasserstoffresten ohne aliphatische Ungesättigtheit
gehören beispielsweise Alkylreste, z. B. Methyl, Äthyl, Propyl, Butyl, Octyl usw.; Arylreste, z. B. Phenyl,
Naphthyl usw.; mit niederem Alkyl versehene Arylreste, z. B. Benzyl, Phenylethyl usw. Zu den für Y in Formel (2)
möglichen Hydroxyaryiresten gehören beispielsweise: p-Hydroxyphenyl, o,o-Di(t-butyl)-p-hydroxyphenyl,
o-(t-Butyl)-o-allyl-p-hydroxyphenyl usw. Beispiele für hydroxyarylsubstituierte monovalente Kohlenwasserstoffreste
im Rahmen der Definition von Y in Formel (2) sind beispielsweise p-Hydroxyphenylmethylreste
o,o-Di(t-butyl)-p-hydroxyphenyläthylreste, Beispiele der Hydroxyarylätherreste sind o,o-Di(t-butyl)-p-hydroxy-phenylätherreste
und o,o-Di(t-butyl)-p-hydroxyphenylmethylenätherreste. Als Beispiel für die Hydroxyarylthioätherreste
kann der o,o-Di(t-butyl)-p-hydroxyphenylthioätherrest genannt werden.
R" ist ausgewählt aus niederen Alkylresten mit 1 bis 5 Kohlenstoffatomen, z. B. Methyl, Äthyl, Propyl, Butyl,
Pentyl usw.; weiter können für R" z. B. die folgenden Reste stehen:

Andere der für R" stehenden Gruppen können als Reste vorliegen, die an die Siloxaneinheiten gebunden
sind, ohne dadurch die fü-nbildenden Eigenschaften des
Fettes nachteilig zu beeinflussen. Vorzugsweise sollen jedoch nicht mehr als 25% der gesamten Anzahl der in
dem Polysiloxan vorhandenen Reste aus diesen anderen Resten bestehen. Obgleich beliebige Methylalkylpolysiloxanflüssigkeiten
im Rahmen der Formel (1) beim erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren anwendbar sind, so wird
es doch bevorzugt, daß die Flüssigkeit eine Viskosität von 10 bis 1OO 000 Centistokes bei 25° C aufweist.
Die Methylalkylpolysiloxanflüssigkeiten der Formel (1) können Siloxaneinheiten der verschiedensten Typen
und Formulierungen umfassen, wie Trimethylsiloxaneinheiten und Methylalkylsiloxaneinheiten allein oder in
Kombination mit Einheiten, wie Monomethylsiloxaneinheiten, Monoalkylsiloxaneinheiten, Dialkylsiloxaneinheiten,
Trialkylsiloxaneinheiten usw. Das einzige Erfordernis besteht darin, daß das Verhältnis der verwendeten
verschiedenen Siloxaneinheiten so ausgewählt ist, daß die mittlere Zusammensetzung der copolymeren
Flüssigkeit im Rahmen der Formel (1) liegt.
Ein kritisches Merkmal der erfindungsgemäßen Fettzusammensetzung besteht jedoch darin, daß 25 bis
50% der Gesamtzahl organischer Substituenten am Polysiloxan aus der Klasse von Alkylradikalen ausgewählt
sein müssen, die 6 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatome und vorzugsweise 10 Kohlenstoffatome aufweisen. Die
Reste können dabei geradkettig oder verzweigt sein, z. B. Hexyl-, Isoheptyl-, Octyl-, Decyl-, Isodecyl-,
Dodecyl-Reste.
Ein Bestandteil des erfindungsgemäßen Siliconfettes sind die Verdickungsmittel, die allgemein bekannt sind.
Die Erfindung umfaßt die Verwendung beliebiger dieser allgemein bekannten Verdickungsmittel in einer Menge
von 2—35 Gew.-% und vorzugsweise von 5—25 Gew.-°/o, um ein Siliconfett der gewünschten Konsistenz
zu schaffen. Solche brauchbaren Verdickungsmittel sind z.B. in den US-PS 24 56 642, 25 99 984, 25 51931,
26 98 300, 25 99 553, 27 09 157 und 25 08 741 beschrieben.
Der Ausdruck »Fett«, wie er in der vorliegenden Anmeldung benutzt wird, bezieht sich dabei ganz
allgemein auf fettartige Materialien, die Konsistenzen aufweisen, die von leicht-fließbaren Materialien bis zu
solchen, die praktisch überhaupt nicht mehr fließen, variieren.
Die Konsistenz der erfindungsgemäßen Fette hängt von der jeweils eingesetzten Menge sowie der Art des
verwendeten Verdickungsmittels und den im Fett ein; setzten besonderen Polysiloxanflüssigkeiten üb.
Vorteilhafte Verdickungsmittel sind Lithiumseifen
von Fettsäuren mit 12 bis 22 Kohlenstoffatomen.
Besonders vorteilhafte Verdickungsmittel sind Lithiumlaurat,
Lithiumstearat, Lithiummyristat und LithiumpalmitaL
Zusätzlich zu den Metallseifen können für die erfindungsgemäßen Siliconfette als Verdickungsmittel
ebenfalls fein verteilte inerte Oxyde von Metallen und quasi metallischen Materialien verwendet werden, wie
Siliciumdioxyd, Aluminiumoxyd, Eisenoxyd, Titandioxyd, Zinkoxyde, Glasfasern und Tonerden. Wenn
Siliciumdioxyd als Verdickungsmittel verwendet wird,
wird CL vorzugsweise in Form eines Aerogels benutzt.
Es kann jedoch auch als durch Verbrennen von SiCU in
der Gasphase erhaltenes, als ausgefälltes oder als Siliciumdioxyd aus natürlichen Ablagerungen wie
beispielsweise Diatomeenerde, Anwendung finden.
Zur Erleichterung der Dispersion des Verdickungsmittel
in der Polysiloxanflüssigkeit wird fakultativ ein Polyäther in einer Menge von etwa 0,01 bis 0,5 Gew.-%,
bezogen auf das Gewicht der Polysiloxanflüssigkeiten in der Zubereitung, und vorzugsweise von 0,1 bis 2,0
Gew.-°/o, benutzt. Wenn weniger als 0,01 Gew.-% des Polyäthers vorliegen, hat es sich als schwierig erwiesen,
das Verdickungsmittel in dem Fett zu dispergieren. Wenn andererseits die Menge des Polyäthers in der
Fettzubereitung über 5,0 Gew.-% liegt, ist der Gewichtsverlust des Fettes bei Temperaturen über
1500C so groß, daß das Fett für viele Anwendungen nicht mehr geeignet ist
Die erfindungsgemäß zusammen mit den Polysiloxanölen
verwendbaren Polyäther sind polymere Alkylenoxyde und/oder polymere Alkylenglykole v.nd sie
können durch die nachfolgenden Formeln wiedergegeben werden:

der wenigstens 2 Hydroxylgruppen enthält, wie Äthylenglykol, Glycerol, Trimethyiolpropan und
andere mehrwertige Alkohole mit 2 bis 6 Hydroxylgruppen, χ eine ganze Zahl mit einem Wert von 2 bis 4; η ist
eine ganze Zahl mit einem Wert von 4 bis 2000 und y hat einen Wert von 2 bis 6 und zeinen Wert von 1 bis 5.
Speziell können für A und B folgende Reste stehen: Methyl, Äthyl, Propyl, Butyl, Octyl, Cyclopentyl,
Cyclohexyl, Cycloheptyl, Phenyl, Naphthyl, Biphenyl, Benzyl, Phenyläthyl, Phenylpropyl, Acetat, Propionat,
Octoat usw.; Hydroxyäthergruppen, die von Glykolen, wie Butylenglykol, Octylenglykol usw., abgeleitet sind
und Gruppen, die durch Veresterung mit einer Hydroxylgruppe einer Nicht-Fettsäure, z. B. Propylphosphat,
Octylsulfonat, Butylsulfat usw., gebildet sind.
Die Polyäther können aus den verschiedenen Alkylenoxyden (z, B. Äthylenoxyd), den höheren
1,2-Epoxyden (beispielsweise 1,2-Propylenoxyd), den
Alkylenglykolen (z. B. Äthylenglykol) und Mischungen
derselben hergestellt werden. Die erhaltenen Produkte können Polyoxyalkylendiole oder Polyalkylenglykcldelivate
sein, d.h, die endständigen Hydroxylgruppen können als solche bestehen bleiben, oder eine oder
beide dieser endständigen Hydroxylgruppen können während der Polymerisationsreaktion oder daran
in anschließend entfernt worden sein, beispielsweise durch
Veretherung oder Veresterung, um so Mono- oder Diäther oder Mono- oder Diestergruppen oder eine
Kombination solcher Endgruppe zu ergeben, wobei gewisse wünschenswerte Eigenschaften den endgülti-
ΐϊ gen polymeren Mischungen verliehen werden. So
können beispielsweise in der vorstehenden Formel A und/oder B Alkylreste sein, die einen Dialkylpolyäther
(z. B. Dibutylheptaoxypropylendiäther) bilden. Weiterhin können sie esterbildende Reste darstellen, die
->(i Alkyloxyalkylenester bilden (z. B. Butylpentaoxypropylenacetat);
oder Wasserstoff und so Polyglykole bilden (z. B. Polyäthylenglykol usw.).
Zur weiteren Erläuterung der verwendbaren Polyäther kann das Polyätheröl, d. h. der -(C1O),,- -Teil der

Polyäther, die Kombinationen der vorstehend be-M)
schriebenen Grundeinheiten aufweisen, haben sich als besonders vorteilhaft für die praktische Durchführung
der Erfindung erwiesen. Eine Verbindung, die beispielsweise zwei verschiedene Alkylenoxydgruppen enthält,
kann in der Weise hergestellt werden, daß Propylenglytv>
kol mit Äthylenoxyd in Anwesenheit von Bortrifluorid zur Umsetzung gebracht wird. Dieses gemischte
Polyalkylenglykol kann — falls gewünscht — mit einem Alkanol, beispielsweise Butanol, unter Bildung des
Monobutoxyäthers des gemischten Polyalkylenglykols umgesetzt werden. Eine Anzahl dieser Polyalkylenoxydmaterialien
sind im Handel erhältlich.
Die Molekulargewichte der gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung verwendbaren Polyätheröle liegen im Bereich
von 300 bis 1OO 000, vorzugsweise von 400 bis
20 000.
Die Natur der im Rahmen der vorliegenden Erfindung liegenden Zusammensetzungen wird am
besten durch Bezugnahme auf die Herstellung der Verbindung erläutert, die den siliciumgebundenen, mit
tert.-Butyl substituierten Hydroxyarylpropylrest enthält. Das allgemeine Herstellungsverfahren geht von einem
Ausgangsmaterial aus, welches einen Phenylkern aufweist, der eine an ein Kernkohlenstoffatom gebundene
Hydroxylgruppe und tert. Butylreste in beiden meta-Stellungen dieser phenolischen Verbindung trägt.
Einen oder mehrere dieser kerngebundenen t-Butylreste ersetzt man durch je einen Allylrest. um ein
allylsubstituiertes Material der Formel

zu erhalten, worin R' die vorstehend gegebene Bedeutung hat. Der Allylrest dieser Verbindung wird
dann mit einem Organopoiysiloxan umgesetzt, welches Siliciumwasserstoffbindungen enthält, so daß der
Phenylkern mit dem Siliciumatom durch den Propylenresi verbinden wird.
Zur weiteren Veranschaulichung dieses Verfahrens wird eine im Handel erhältliche Phenolverbindung der

dann eine äthanoiische Lösung von Kaliumhydroxyd dazugegeben. Dies führt zu einer Umwandlung des
Phenols in das Kaliumphenoiat. Eine solche Menge Allyichiorid in Äthanol die ausreicht, um einen
tert.-Butylres'. vcr. jeder. Molekül zu ersetzen, wird

Siliconfette gebräuchlich sind. Beispiele dieser Zusätze umfassen Antioxydationsmittel, wie Amine, z. B. N-Phenyl-alpha-naphthylamin;
Korrosionshemmstoffe, /. B. Zinknaphthanat; Höchstdruckzusätze, wie Selendisulfid,
Molybdändisulfid usw.
Die Herstellung der Polysiloxane im Rahmen der Formel (1) schließt eine SiH-Olefinadditionsreaktion
ein. Diese Reaktion umfaßt die Zugabe eines alpha-Olefins mit 6 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen und fakultativ einen
der allylierten Reste R' zu einem Methylhydrogenpolysiloxan.
So erfolgt beispielsweise die Herstellung von mit Trimethylsilyl zum Kettenabbruch gebrachten Methylpolysiloxanen
mit höherem Alkyl der Formel (1) durch die Umsetzung zwischen einem Methylhydrogenpolysiloxan
der Formel

worin n. m, p. q und R" die oben gegebene Bedeutung haben, und einem alpha-Olefin. Die Reaktion des
alpha-Olefins und des Polysiloxans der Formel (3) kann dabei in Anwesenheit eines elementaren Platinkatalysators
oder eines Katalysators aus einer Platinverbindung stattfinden. Der aus der Pkumverbindung bestehende
Katalysator kann dabei zweckmäßig aus der Gruppe von Katalysatoren ausgewählt werden, die die Addition
von Siliciumwasserstoffbindungen an olefinische Bindungen katalysieren (vgl. L1S "S 28 23 218. 32 20 972.
33 13 773,31 59 601 und 31 5^ o62).
Die SiH-Olefinadditionsreaktion kann bei Raumtemperatur oder bei Temperaturen bis zu 200CC durchgeführt
werden, und zwar jeweiK abhängig von der
Katalysatorkonzentration. Die Katalysatorkonzentration kann von 10-" bis 10 ' und vorzugsweise von 10 '
bis 10 J Mol Platinmetall pro Mol der Olefin enthaltenen Moleküle betragen. Im allgemeinen wird
das Methylhydrogenpolysiloxan mit einem Teil des alpha-Olefins gemischt, der gesamte Katalysator zugegeben
und dann das restliche alpha-Olefin in solchen Anteilen zugegeben, die ausreichen, um die Reaktionstemperatur im Bereich von etwa 50 bis 1200C zu halten.
Am Ende der Zugabe des aipha-Olefins ist die Reaktion
vollendet.
Im folgenden wird die Erfindung anhand von Beispielen näher erläutert. Alle Teile beziehen sich auf
das Gewicht, wenn es nicht ausdrücklich anders angegeben ist.

Zusätzlich zu den vorstehend beschriebenen Bestandteilen können :r. dem erfindungsgemäßen Siiiconfett
weiterhin noch Zusätze vorhanden sein, die für

wurde durch Auflösen von 424 g (1 Mo!) 4,4'-Methylenbis-2,6-diterL-buty!phenoi
in einer gleichen Gewichtsmenge Toluol und einer gleichen Gewichtsmenge Äthylalkohol hergestellt. Dann wurden 1000 g einer
Lösung, die 112 g Kaliumhydroxyd in Äthylalkohol enthielt, hergestellt und langsam dem Phenol bis zur
stöchiometnschen Äquivalenz mit den phenolisi hen
Hydroxylgruppen zugegeben. Es entstand eine leuchtend purpurne Lösung, in der sich nach dem Trocknen
kein Phenol mehr nachweisen ließ, und die sich bei entsprechenden Prüfungen als vollständig in das
Kaliumphenolat umgewandelt erwies. Eine zusätzliche äquivalente Menge Äthylalkohol wurde zugegeben, und
1,5 Mol Allylchlorid wurden langsam der Reaktionsmischung zugesetzt, die dann 2 Stunden lang bei 7O0C am
Rückfluß erhitzt wurde. Alle Feststoffe wurden aus der Reaktionsmischung abfiltriert, und das Produkt wurde
gewaschen und vom Lösungsmittel befreit. Die Infrarot-Analyse zeigte dabei, daß das Phenolat in das Phenol
umgewandelt war und daß die Allylgruppe an ihre Stelle getreten war. Untersuchungen auf Grund der kernmagnetischen
Resonanz ergaben, daß eine tert.-Butylgruppe an einem der beiden Arylreste durch einen Allylrest
ersetzt worden war.
In ein Reaktionsgefäß wurden 300 g eines flüssigen mit Trimethylsilyl zum Kettenabbruch gebrachten
Methylhydrogenpolysiloxans der Formel
gegeben. Zu dieser Mischung wurden 0,00125 g Chlorplatinsäurehexahydrat und 28,8 g des wie vorstehend
beschrieben hergestellten allylierten Produktes innerhalb einer halben Stunde zugegeben, wobei die
Temperatur der Reaktionsmischung auf 11O0C gehalten
wurde. Das äußere Erhitzen wurde dann unterbrochen. Innerhalb einer Stunde wurden dann langsam 500 g

Decen-1 der Reaktionsmischung zugesetzt, wobei durch
die bei der Zugabe auftretende exotherme Reaktion die Temperatur auf 110°C gehalten wurde. Nach vollständiger
Zugabe des Decen-1 wurik von außen Wärme
zugeführt, um die Temperatur weitere 30 Minuten auf 110°C zu halten und so zu gewährleisten, daß alle
SiH-Gruppen vollständig zur Umsetzung gebracht waren. Das Reaktionsprodukt wurde dann bei 282" C
und 10 mmHg von dem Lösungsmittel befreit, wobei man Stickstoff als Spülgas verwendete. Es wurde ein
Öl-Grundbestandteil im Rahmen der Formel (I) erhalten, in welchem für R Decyl und R' ein Rest der
Formel

und ρ hat einen Wert von 0,016. Da auf 8 Siliciumatome weniger als ein mit t-Butylhydroxyarylpropyl-substituiertes
Siliciumatom entfällt und das Polysiloxan 8 Siliciumatome pro Molekül enthält, ist es offensichtlich,
daß die Zusammensetzung der vorliegenden Erfindung eine Mischung von Produkten im Rahmen der Formel
(1) aufweist, von denen einige den inneren Antioxydationsmittelrest aufweisen und andere nicht.
In einem Fettsiedekessel wurden zu 36 g des Öl-Grundbestandteils 18 g Lithiummyristat, 0,75 g eines
Polyäthers der Formel

und 0.01 g feinverteiltes Lithiumhydroxyd zugegeben.
Die Mischung wurde gerührt und auf 2400C erhitzt. Auf dieser Temperatur wurde sie 10 Minuten unter Rühren
gehalten. Die Mischung wurde dann langsam mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 1,4°C pro Minute auf 1500C
abgekühlt, bei welcher Temperatur 0,45 g N-Phenyl-alpha-naphthylamin
0,1 g feinverteiltes Lithiumhydroxyd, 36 g des ölgrundbestandteils und 7 g Lithiummyristat
zugegeben wurden. Das langsame Abkühlen wurde bis auf Raumtemperatur fortgesetzt. Die Mischung wurde
dann dreimal durch eine Morehouse-Kolloidmühle mit einer lichten Weite von 0,076 mm gemahlen. Das
erhaltene Material war ein Fett von leichter Qualität (Eindringfähigkeit 290 bis 330) mit den folgenden

Das Fett wurde zum Schmieren des schwingenden Aufzeichnungsmechanismus in einem Registriergerät
verwendet und war selbst nach 6monatigem kontinuierlichen Gebrauch voll funktionsfähig. Unter identischen
Bedingungen versagte ein handelsmäßiges Fett auf Erdölbasis bereits nach 2 Wochen.
Ein Scheibenwischermechanismus mit einem in einem Gehäuse angeordneten Excenter wurde ebenfalls mit
dem Fett nach dem vorstehenden Beispiel geschmiert und arbeitete 6 Monate ohne Schwierigkeiten. Der
gleiche Mechanismus versagte bereits nach 200 Stunden, wenn er mit Fett auf Erdölbasis geschmiert
wurde. Ein ähnliches Resultat, wie bei dem Fett auf Erdölbasis, wurde bei Verwendung eines herkömmlichen
Siiiconfettes erzieh.
In ein Reaktionsgefäß wurden 300 g eines flüssigen mit Trirnethylsüyl zum Kettenabbruch gebrachter;

Produktes zugesetzt, wobei die Temperatur der Reakronsmischung auf 110°C gehalten wurde. Das
Erhitzen wurde unterbrochen und dann wurden 683 g
Decen-1 langsam innerhalb einer Stunde der Reaktionsmischung zugesetzt, während welcher Zeit die Temperatur
infolge der mit der Zugabe verbundenen exothermen Reaktion auf 110cC gehalten wurde. Nach
vollständiger Zugabe des Decen-1 wurde von außen
Wärme zugeführt, um das Gefäß weitere 30 Minuten auf der Temperatur von 1 100C zu halten und somit
sicherzugehen, daß alle =SiH-Gruppen vollständig umgesetzt waren. Das Reaktionsprodukt wurde dann im
Vakuum bei 2820C und lOmmHg unter Benutzung
eines Stickstoffspülgases vom Lösungsmittel befreit. Es wurde eine öigrundzusammensetzung im Rahmen der
Formel (1) erhalten, in der für R Decyl und für R' ein Rest der Formel

von 0,953, und ρ hatte einen Wert von 0,0148. Da das Verhältnis der t-Butylhydroxyarylreste zu den Siliciumatomen kleiner als 1 zu 62 ist und 62 Siliciumatome pro
Polysiloxanmolekül vorhanden sind, ist es offensichtlich, daß die erfindungsgemäße Zusammensetzung ein
Gemisch aus Produkten im Rahmen der Formel (1) umfaßt, in welchem der Hauptanteil der Polysiloxanmoleküle einen Rest R' und eine kleine Menge der
Polysiloxanmoleküle keinen Rest R' enthält.
In einer Fettkochvorrichtung wurden zu 36 g ölgrundbestandteil und 18 g Lithiummyristat 0,75 g
eines Polyäthers der Formel
CH2(OC, HJ8(OC2HJ24OH
und 0,01 g feinverteiites Lithiumhydroxyd gegeben. Die
Mischung wurde gerührt und auf 2400C erhitzt. Unter
Rühren wurde sie 10 Minuten lang auf dieser Temperatur gehalten. Die Mischung wurde dann
langsam mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 1,40C pro Minute auf 15O0C abgekühlt, bei welcher Temperatur
0,45 g N-Phenyl-alpha-naphthylamin, 0,1 g feinverteiltes Lithiumhydroxyd, 36 g des ölgrundbestandteils und 7 g
Lithiummyristat zugesetzt wurden. Das langsame Abkühlen wurde bis auf Raumtemperatur fortgesetzt.
Die Mischung wurde dann dreimal durch eine Morehouse-Kolloidmühle mit einer lichten Weite von
0,076 mm gemahlen. Das erhaltene Material war eir. Fett von leichter Qualität (Eindringfähigkeit 290 bis
330).
In ein ReaktionsgefäB wurden 300 g eines flüssigen,
mit Trimethylsilyl zum Kettenabbruch gebrachten Methylhydrogenpolysiloxans der Formel

gegeben. Innerhalb einer halben Stunde wurden dieser
Mischung 0,00125 g Chlorplatinsäurehexahydrat und 28,8 g des in Beispiel 1 beschriebenen allylierten Produktes zugegeben, wobei die Temperatur der Reaktionsmischung auf 1100C gehalten wurde. Das
Erhitzen wurde dann unterbrochen, und 440.0 g Dodecen-1 wurden langsam innerhalb einer Stunde der
Reaktionsmischung zugegeben, wobei die Temperatur infolge der mit der Zugabe verbundenen exothermen
Reaktion auf 1100C gehalten wurde. Nach vollständiger
Zugabe des Dodecen-1 wurde von außen Wärme zugeführt, um das Gefäß weitere 30 Minuten auf einer
Temperatur von 110°C zu halten, um auf diese Weise sicher zu stellen, daß alle =SiH-Gruppen vollständig
umgesetzt waren. Das Reaktionsprodukt wurde dann im Vakuum bei 282°C und lOmmHg unter Benutzung
einer Stickstoffspülung von den flüchtigen Bestandteilen befreit. Dies führte zu einem ölgrundbestandteil im
Rahmen der Formel (1), bei dem für R Dodecyl und für R' ein Rest der Formel

steht, π einen Wert von 1,5, m einen Wert von 0,60, ρ
einen Wert von 0,0186 und q einen Wert von 0,125 darstellt Da im Mittel nur 0,146 Inhibitorreste pro
Siloxanmolekül vorliegen, ist es offensichtlich, daß die b5 erfindungsgemäße Zusammensetzung eine Mischung
von Produkten im Rahmen der Formel (1) umfaßt, von denen einige einen Inhibitorrest, der größte Teil jedoch
keinen Hemmstoffrest aufweisen.

In einer Fettkochvorrichtung wurden zu 36 g des Ölgrundbestandteils und 18 g Lithiummyristat 0.75 g eines
Polyäthers der Formel

und 0,01 g feinverteiltes Lithiumhydroxyd zugegeben. Die Mischung wurde gerührt und auf 24O0C erhitzt.
Unter Rühren wurde sie 10 Minuten auf dieser Temperatur gehalten und dann wurde die Mischung
langsam mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 1.40C pro
Minute auf 1500C abgekühlt, bei welcher Temperatur dann 0.45 g N-Phenyl-alnha-naphthyl-amin. 0,1 g feinverteiltes
Lithiumhydroxyd, 36 g des ölgrundbestandteils und 7 g Lithiummyristat zugegeben wurden. Das
langsame Abkühlen wurde bis auf Raumtemperaur fortgesetzt. Die Mischung wurde dann dreimal durch
eine Morehouse-Kolloidmühle mit einer lichten Weite von 0,076 mm gemahlen. Das erhaltene Material war
ein Fett von leichter Qualität (Eindringfähigkeit: 290 bis 330).
In einer Fettkochvorrichtung wurden zu 880 g des ölgrundbestandteils gemäß Beispiel 1 0,2 g eines
Polväthers der Formel

10,5 g eines fein verteilten durch Verbrennen von SiCh
in der Gasphase hergestellten Siiiciumdioxyds. 0.5 g
Pentaerythrit und 0,8 g Trimcthoxyboroxin gegeben. Die Mischung wurde auf 125'C erhitzt und ^O Minuten
lang unter Rühren auf dieser Temperatur gehalten. Die Mischung wurde auf Rau^nemperatur abgekühlt und
dann dreimal durch eine Morc'.ouse-Kolloidmuhle mit
einer lichten Weite von 0.07b mm gemahlen. .'Jas
erhaltene Material war ein weiches, halbtransparemes.
gelblich-braunes Fett mit den folgenden Eigenschalten:

Mischung wurde gerührt und auf 125=C erhitzt. 60
Minuten lang wurde sie unter Rühren auf dieser Temperatur gehalten und dann auf Raumtemperatur
abgekühlt. Die Mischung wurde dann dreimal durch eine Morehouse-Kolloidmühle mit einer lichten Weite vc-0.076
mm gemahlen. Das erhaltene Material war ein Fett von leichter Qualität (Eindringfähigkeit 290 bis
330).
Zu 144 Teilen des Ölgrundbestandteiis gemäß Beispiel 1 wurden 60 Teile feinveneiiter Graphit
gegeben. Die Mischung wurde dann dreimal durch eine Morehouse-Kolloidmühle mit einer lichten Weite von
0.076 mm gemahlen. Das erhaltene Material war ein weiches, schmierfähiges schwarzes Fett mit den
folgenden Eigenschaften:

Es hat den Anschein, daß die langkettigen Aikylgruppen
an der Polysiioxankette eine Quellwirkung her\ >rrufen.
die zu einem dicken Film auf der Oberflächenschicht führt, die der schwingenden ode· vibr erender
Bewegung ausgesetzt ist.
Außerdem sind die Fette der vorliegencen Erfindung
dort außerordentlich brauchbar, wo das Problem de-Auswaschens mit Wasser auftritt beispielsweise be
einer Scheibenwischermechanik. Die derzeitigen Scheibenwischer laufen oft in und häufig unter Wasser, und
die Lageroberfläche dieser Mechanik müssen mit einem Fett geschmiert werden, welches gegenüber dem
Auswaschen mit Wasser nicht anfällig ist. Die erfindungsgemäßen Fette erfüllen dieses Erfordernis in
bewundernswerter Weise. Ihre Beständigkeit gegenüber Auswaschen mit Wasser und ihre Fähigkeit,
schwingenden oder vibrierenden Bewegungen zu widerstehen, machen sie für diese Anwendungen η
idealer Weise eeeicnet
