Description

  • Behälterdeckel Die Erfindung betrifft die Ausbildung eines Behälterdeckels aus Blech oder Metall, der für Behälter bestimmt ist, deren Mantel aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff besteht.
  • Bei derartigen Behältern sind sehr oft der Mantelrand unl der Deckelrand unter Wärme-und/oder Druckwirkung verfalzt.
  • Es ist eine Konservenpackung bekannt, bei der beide Teile durch Bördelung miteinander verbunden sind, wobei entweder der Deckel oder der Mantel aus einem elastischen Kunststoff bestehen. Bekannt ist ferner ein Blechbehälter, bei dem der Deckel aus einem elastischen Kunststoff besteht, und bei dem die Blechdose einen schräg nach oben gerichteten Bördelrand aufweist und der Stülpdeckel aus einem leicht verformbaren, vorzugsweise durchsichtigen Kunststoff, z. B.
  • Polyäthylen besteht. Es ist auch bekannt, thermoplastische Kunststoffe durch Wärme-oder Druckwirkung zu verarbeiten.
  • Hierfür sind spezielle Anwärmgeräte entwickelt worden, die in sehr kurzer Zeit den Kunststoff erwärmen, so daß er für eine Verarbeitung weich genug ist. Es ist schließlich auch bekannt, die Verarbeitung eines Kunststoffes dadurch zu erleichtern, daß diesem Kunststoff ein Lösungsmittel oder Quellmittel zugegeben wird, das den Kunststoff nach einer gewissen Zeit völlig durchdringen kann.
  • Der Behälterdeckel nach der Erfindung hat demgegenüber die Aufgabe, bei einem Behälter mit einem Mantel aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff das Verfalzen des Mantels und des Deckels an den Rändern zu erleichtern. Demgemäß besteht die Erfindung darin, daß der Deckelrand eine in den Behältermantel knapp passende Erhöhung aufweist, deren Flanke mit einer sanften Wölbung in den Deckelrand übergeht. Diese Ausbildung hat die Wirkung, daß der durch ein Lösemittel oder Wärme erweichte Mantelrand sich dem Behälterdeckel, und zwar seiner Flanke, anpaßt und unter ständiger Vergrößerung seines Durchmessers an der Oberfläche der Flanke und des Radius entlanggleitet, bis der Mantelrand in ausreichender Breite auf dem Deckelrand aufliegt. Nach diesem Vorgang kann das Verfalzen des Mantelrandes und des Deckelrandes erfolgen.
  • In der Zeichnung ist der Behälterdeckel nach der Erfindung und seine Verwendung bei der Herstellung eines Behälters dargestellt.

  • In den Zeichnungen ist der Mantel oder Rumpf aus Kunststoff mit 1 bezeichnet. Der Deckel weist eine Erhöhung 2 auf, deren Flanke 4 mit einem der Kunststoffart angepaßten Radius 5 in den Deckelrand 3 übergeht. Der Rumpfrand 6 liegt satt auf der Flanke 4 der Wölbung 5 und dem Deckelrand 3 auf und wird mit diesen verfalzt.
  • Es kann zweckmäßig sein, der Flanke 4 einen schwachen Anzug zu geben, derart, daß sich der Durchmesser der Erhöhung 2 in Richtung auf den Rumpf 1 schwach verringert. Beim Eindrücken des Deckels in den Rumpf 1 wird erreicht, daß der Durchmesser des Rumpfes gezwungen wird, sich schon im Bereich der Flanke zu vergrößern.
  • Bei der zeichnerischen Erläuterung der Erfindung wurde die Darstellung eines Behälters zur Aufbewahrung von Spindeln benutzt, bei denen im Boden eine Vertiefung vorgesehen ist. Eine derartige Vertiefung ist für die Erfindung ohne Bedeutung.

    Behälterdeckel aus Blech oder Metall für Behälter mit einem Mantel aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff, bei denen der Mantelrand und der Deckelrand unter Wärme-und/oder Druckwirkung verfalzt sind, dadurch g e k e n n z e ich n e t, daß der Deckelrand (3) eine in den Behältermantel knapp passende Erhöhung (2) aufweist, deren Flanke (4) mit einer sanften Wölbung (5) in den Deckelrand (3) übergeht, so daß beim Eindrücken des Blechteiles in den durch Lösemittel oder Wärme erweichten Mantelrand dieser seinen Durchmesser der Form der Flanke anpaßt und unter ständiger Vergrößerung seines Durchmessers an der Oberfläche der Flanke und des Radius entlanggleitet, bis der Mantelrand in ausreichender Breite auf dem Deckelrand aufliegt.
