Description
Gegenstand der Erfindung sind anti-elektrostatische Formgebilde
aus Hochpolymeren, die als Antistatikum Verbindungen
enthalten, die über eine Si-O-Bindung verknüpfte Polyglykolätherreste
besitzen.
Bekanntlich neigen Formgebilde aus synthetischen, halbsynthetischem
und natürlichem Material sehr häufig dazu, sich bei der Verarbeitung und bei der Verwendung elektrostatisch
aufzuladen. Diese unerwünschte Folgeerscheinung beruht auf
Ladungstrennung elektrisch neutraler Teilchen infolge Berührung,
Reibung usw. Für das Abfließen elektrostatischer Aufladungen ist die Höhe des elektrischen Oberflächenwiderstandes
bzw. die Größe der elektrischen Oberflächenleitfähigkeit maßgebend.
Eine Herabsetzung des elektrischen Oberflächenwiderstandee,
das heißt, eine Verbesserung der elektrischen Oberflächenleitfähigkeit, führt zu einer raschen Beseitigung
dieser elektrostatischen Aufladungen und vermindert deren Ansammlung
an der Oberfläche des jeweiligen Formgebildes.
Eb ist bekannt, daß die Anwesenheit von Polyäthylenglykol-

äthern in Formgebilden aus synthetischen Polymeren die
elektrostatische Aufladung weitgehend unterbindet (siehe Belgische Patentschrift 631 199). Jedoch ist dieser Effekt
nicht waschbeständig, das heißt, der elektrische Oberflächenwiderstand entsprechend ausgerüsteter Formgebilde ist bereits
nach wenigen Wäschen praktisch ebenso hoch wie der von unbehandelten
Fonngebilden.
Es wurde nun gefunden, daß Substanzen, in denen über Si-O-Bindungen
mindestens ein Rest, der eine gerade oder verzweigte Eette von 6 bis 26 Kohlenstoff atomen aufweist, mit mindestens
einem Rest verknüpft ist, der eine Polyglykolätherkette der Struktur

enthält, wobei η = 5 bis 250 und R = H oder CH^ sein kann,
in Hochpolymeren weinen weitgehend waschbeständigen antielektrostatischen Effekt verursachen!
Die anti-elektrostatisch wirksamen Verbindungen entsprechen der allgemeinen Formel

Vorzugsweise werden solche Silicium enthaltende-sVerhindungen
als anti-elektrostatisch wirksame Substanzen für Pormgebilde ,
aus Hochpolymeren, vorzugsweise aus Polyamiden, verwendet, /
die durch Umsatz von Siliciumtetrachlorid oder Methyltrichlorsilan
mit Fettalkoholen mit 8 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen und Polyäthylenglykol vom Molekulargewicht 200 bis 5 000 erhalten
werden.
Die Herstellung der Verbindungen erfolgt nach bekannten Verfahren.
Beispielsweise kann die Chlorsiliciumverbindung in einem
inerten Lösungsmittel, wie beispielsweise Toluol, zuerst mit
dem Fettalkohol und anschließend mit dem Polyglykoläther umgesetzt werden. Anschließend kann das lösungsmittel durch
Destillation gegebenenfalls im Vakuum entfernt werden« Der Rückstand enthält dann die erfindungsgemäß zu verwendenden
Verbindungen, .
Als Fettalkohol kommen beispielsweise in Betracht: 2-A'thyl-nhexanol,
n-Octanol-1, Nonanol-*1, Decanol-1, Dodecanol-1,

Hexadecanol-1, Octadecanol-1.und Octadecen-9-ol-i. Als PoIyglykoläther
können beispielsweise die Anlagerungsprodukte von Äthylenoxid und/oder Propylenoxid an Äthylenglykol, Propylenglykol,
Methanol, Äthanol, Propanol und Butanol genannt werden.
Sie erfindungsgemäß zu verwendenden Verbindungen können den
Polyamiden vor, während oder nach der Polymerisation der polyamidbildenden Substanzen als anti-elektrostatische Mittel
zugesetzt werden. Es ist jedoch auch möglich, die anti-elektrostatischen
Substanzen gegebenenfalls als Konzentrate, beispielsweise in den entsprechenden Polyamiden, in den Polyamiden
während oder nach der Polymerisation kontinuierlich oder diskontinuierlich mittels geeigneter Mischvorrichtungen,
wie Rührer, Kneter, Schnecken oder Extruder, homogen zu verteilen.
Beispiele für geeignete Hochpolymere sind außer den genannten Polyamiden Polymere aus Polyestern, Polyolefinen, Polyacrylaten,
Polyvinylchloriden, Polyvinylacetalen, Polyvinylidenen, Polystyrolen, Polycarbonaten, Celluloseestern sowie deren
Mischungen und Mischpolymerisate.
Als Zusatzstoffe können üblicherweise den Polymeren Pigmente,
Farbstoffe, Licht- und Wärmestabilisatoren, optische Aufhellungsmittel, Füllstoffe wie Glas- oder Asbestfasern, Weich-'-

macher, Entformungsmittel, Kettenabbrecher, Kristallisationsanreger, diffusionserhöhende Mittel usw. zugesetzt werden.
Polymere, die diese anti-elektrostatisch wirksamen Verbindungen
enthalten, lassen sich zu Formgebilden, wie Chemiewerkstoffe, Folien, Borsten, Fasern, Fäden oder daraus hergestellten
Gebilden wie Gewebe und Gewirke, verarbeiten.
Die erfindungsgemäß zu verwendenden Verbindungen werden in Mengen zwischen 0,2 und 30 #? vorzugsweise 0,5 bis 20 #, zugesetzt.
Herstellung der verwendeten anti-elektrostatisch wirksamen Verbindungen:
Substanz A
392 g Trichlormethylsilan wurden in 1 1 Toluol mit 980 g
Stearylalkohol, der in 1,5 1 Toluol gelöst war, bei 10 bis 15 0C
in einer halben Stunde versetzt. Anschließend wurde zwei Stunden auf 65 0C erwärmt, dann bei 20 0C in einem Guß 1 120 g
Polyäthylenglykoläther vom Molekulargewicht 400 zugesetzt,
darauf eine Stunde auf 65 0C erwärmt, dann bis zu einer Sumpftemperatur
von 200 0C das Lösungsmittel abdestilliert und bei
200 °C/12 Torr der Rest der flüchtigen Anteile entfernt.
Es wurden 2 180 g eines farblosen Rückstandes erhalten*

Substanz B
84 g Trichlormethylsilan in 200 ml Toluol wurden bei 10 bis 15 0C in einer halben Stunde mit 210 g Stearylalkohol in
ml Toluol versetzt. Anschließend wurde zwei Stunden auf 65 0C
erwärmt, darauf 2 400 g Polyäthylenglykol vom Molekulargewicht 4 000 bei 20 0C möglichst rasch zugesetzt und wie bei
der Darstellung von Produkt A aufgearbeitet.
Es wurden 2 640 g eines farblosen Rückstandes erhalten.
B-eispiel-1
Zu einem Vorpolymerisat aus 396 TIn. u>
-Caprolactam, 44 TIn. Ou -Aminocapronsäure und 22 TIn. Benzoesäure wurden 110 TIe.
der Substanz A im Verlaufe einer Stunde langsam zugetropft. Nach Beendigung der Polykondensation wurde der Ansatz zu
2,0 mm dickem Draht versponnen und dieser anschließend geschnitzelt.
Diese erhaltenen Schnitzel vermischte man mit normalen Polyamidschnitzeln, so daß die Konzentration an
Substanz A 2 # betrug. Nach Verspinnung über eine Schneckenschmelzepinnapparatur
wurde aus dem erhaltenen Draht bzw. den erhaltenen Schnitzeln Formkörper hergestellt. Nach Klimatisierung
bei 23 °C/50 & r, F. betrug der elektrische Oberflächenwiderstand dieser Formkörper, gemessen mit der
Stahl-Schneiden-Elektrode nach DIN 53596, 1,1.1011 0hm;
12 ein Vergleichsformkörper ohne Zusatz 4t1.10 0hm.

Gemäß Beispiel 1 hergestellte Schnitzel wurden über eine
Schneckenschmelzspinnapparatur zu Fäden versponnen und in
-üblicher Weise verstreckt. Der Endeinzeltiter betrug 15 den.
Die Fäden wurden auf eine Stapellänge von 100 mm geschnitten.
Danach-wurden diese Stapelfasern in einer automatischen
Waschmaschine mit fünf Spülgängen mit einem Feinwaschmittel bei 60 0C gewaschen und' im Tumbler 30 min. bei 80 °C getrocknet.
Nach Klimatisierung bei 23 0C/ 50 # r. F. betrug
der elektrische Oberflächenwiderstand
nach einer Wäsche 9,9.10 Ohm
11 nach mehreren Waschen 3,6.10 Ohm,
Eine Vergleichsprobe hatte
12 nach einer Wäsche 9,4.10 Ohm
12 nach mehreren Waschen 8,4.10 Ohm.
Substanz A wurde mittels einer Dosierpumpe kontinuierlich
einer Polyamidschmelze zudosiert, die sich in einer Schneckenschmelzspinnapparatur
befand. Die Umdrehungsgeschwindigkeit der Schnecke war auf einen optimalen Vermisehungseffekt ein-*
gestellt. Die zudosierte Menge betrug 2 #. Nach Erspinnen
xe a 11 212
eines 2,0 mm dicken Drahtes wurde dieser geschnitzelt;
daraus hergestellte Formkörper besaßen nach Klimatisierung bei 23 °C/50 # r. F. einen elektrischen Oberflächenwiderstand
von 2,0.10 Ohm; ein Vergleichsformkörper ohne Zusatz 4,1.10 12 Ohm.
Die gemäß Beispiel 3 erhaltenen Schnitzel wurden analog
Beispiel 2 versponnen. Elektrischer Oberflächenwiderstand
nach einer Wäsche 8,3.10 Ohm nach mehreren Wäschen 2,7.10 Ohm.
Eine Vergleichsprobe hatte
nach einer Wäsche 9,4.1012 Ohm
12 nach mehreren Wäschen 8,4.10 Ohm
Verwendet man in den vorgenannten Beispielen anstelle der"
Substanz A die Substanz B9 so gelangt man ebenfalls zu sehr
guten Ergebnissen; beim Arbeiten mit Polyäthylenglykolen
gemäß Belgischer Patentschrift 631 199 erhält man demgegenüber ungünstige Meßwerte.
