Die Erfindung betrifft eine weitere Ausbildung dea Gegenstands des Patents .n..,.«(Patentanmeldung A 43761 IVc/39b)
Gegenstand des Hauptpatents ist die Verwendung von Verbindungen
der Formel

worin die Gruppen R gleiche oder verschiedene Alkylreste mit 1 bis 5 Kohlenstoffatomen und X" das Anion einer organischen Säure, die mit Silber ein stabiles, in Aceton
lösliches Salz bilden kann, bedeuten, ale Infrarotabsorber in organischen Polymeren.

gewünschten schützenden Eigenschaften in eine« unerwartet hohen Maß aufweisen. <?enn diese Salze erfindungegemäB in
geeigneten Lösungsmitteln gelöst oder in transparenten Kunststoffmassen dispergiert sind, zeigen sie eine sehr hohe
Strahlungsabsorption im nahen Infrarot, aber nur eine geringe Strahlungsabsorption im sichtbaren Bereich.
Die folgenden Beispiele erläutern die Erfindung, ohne sie zu beschränken. Teil« und Prozentsätze beziehen sich auf das
Gewicht, wenn nichts anderes angegeben 1st.
Beispiele 1 - 18
Nach der in Beispiel 3 des Hauptpatents beschriebenen Arbeitsweise, jedoch unter Verwendung des entsprechenden Amins anstelle des dort Terwendeten Trie(p-diäthylaminophenyl)aaine
und des dem Anion des Aminiumsalzes entsprechenden Silber«
salzes, wurden Aalniuntsalze der folgenden Formt! .hergestellt»

Nach der Arbeitsweise von Beiapiel 9 des Hauptpatents wurden für die Aminiumsalze der vorstehenden Beispiele 1 bis 18 die
Wellenlängen maximaler Absorption im sichtbaren Bereich und im nahen Infrarot von 0,35 bis 2,00 Mikron bestimmt. Die
Messungen wurden mit Lösungen der Aminiumsalze in Aceton oder Methanol durchgeführt. Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle II
aufgeführt«,

Dieses Beispiel eeigt, daß die Verbindungen im nahen In»
frarot absorbieren und daß die Absorption im sichtbaren Bereich erheblich geringer ist als im nahen Infrarot.
Nach der in Beispiel 11 des Hauptpatent beschriebenen Arbeitsweise wurden dünne Filme aus Celluloseacetat hergestellt, die
die Produkte von Beispiel 1 bis 6 und 10 bis 14 enthielten,
Spektraldurchläsaigkeitekurven der Kunststoffilme wurden mit
einem registrierenden Spektrophotometer in der in Beispiel 10 des Hauptpatents beschriebenen Weise erhalten.
Die Wellenlänge maximaler Absorption (?Lmax.) im Infrarotbereich
des Spektrums ist in Tabelle III angegeben»

Dieses Beispiel zeigt, daß die Verbindungen mit dem Kunststoff verträglich sind und in dem Substrat eine maximale
Absorption im nahen Infrarot aufweisen«
Die in Beispiel 20 beschriebenen Kunststoffilee wurden 25 Stunden in einem Fade-Ometer exponiert» Die prozentuale Durchlässigkeit bei der Wellenläge maximaler Absorption im nahen
Infrarot wurde vor und nach dem Exponieren in dem Fade-Ometer bestimmt. Der verbleibende Prozentsatz der ursprünglichen
Absorption wurde nach der In Beispiel 11 des Hauptpatente angegebenen Formel berechnet.
