Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung lenstoffatome enthalten; die am.meisten bevorzugten
von Gemischen primärer und sekundärer Ortho- Phosphite sind diejenigen mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffphosphorsäureester
der allgemeinen Formeln atomen in jeder Alkylgruppe. Als Beispiele seien ge-Q

Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren zur Herstellung +0 und am meisten die Aryl-, halogensubstituierten Arylvon
Gemischen primärer und sekundärer Orthophos- und Aralkylverbindungen mit 6 bis 8 Kohlenstoffphorsäureester
der allgemeinen Formeln atomen.

in denen der Rest R ein Alkyl-, Alkenyl-, insbesondere ζ. B. Sauerstoff im Gemisch mit Stickstoff, Luft od.
Allyl-, oder Arylrest, ein halogensubstituierter Alkyl-, dgl. werden durch dieses Reaktionsgemisch hindurch-
Cycloalkyl-, Aralkyl- oder Arylrest ist, besteht darin, geleitet. Der Sauerstoff- oder Luftüberschuß kann
daß man einen sekundären Phosphorigsäureester der 50 mehr als das 200fache der stöchiometrischen Menge
allgemeinen Formel betragen. Gewöhnlich arbeitet man mit einem Sauer-
O Stoffüberschuß, der zwischen der 1- bis 200fachen
j Menge liegt, vorzugsweise mit einem solchen zwischen
jj P(OR)2 der 1- bis 30fachen und noch besser mit einem solchen

20 Kohlenstoffatome in jeder Alkylgruppe enthalten. Die Reaktion kann bei einer Temperatur von etwa
Zweckmäßiger ist es allerdings, wenn sie 1 bis 12 Koh- 85 bis 3000C durchgeführt werden. Der bevorzugte
Temperaturbereich liegt zwischen etwa 120 und 2050C; der günstigste Temperaturbereich liegt zwischen
130 und 19O0C. Man kann bei Normaldruck, im Vakuum und bei Überdruck arbeiten. Man kann
das Verfahren kontinuierlich oder diskontinuierlich durchführen.
Die Phosphite werden beispielsweise in eine Reaktionskolonne gegeben, wobei darauf geachtet wird,
daß das entstehende Phosphat kontinuierlich in derselben Menge entnommen wird, wie das Phosphit der
Säule zugeführt wird.
Zweckmäßig verwendet man eine Reaktionskolonne, welche eine große Oberfläche pro Volumeinheit aufweist.
Man kann z. B. die Reaktionszone oder den Raum innerhalb der Reaktionskolonne mit Raschigringen,
Berl-Saddles oder Glasspiralen, rostfreiem Stahl, Aluminiumoxyd oder Goodloe-Packungsmaterial
aus Nickel od. dgl. anfüllen.
Die erfindungsgemäß gewonnenen Phosphate, die sich durch eine hohe Reinheit auszeichnen, sind zur
Herstellung von Polymeren, Telomeren und Mischpolymeren ohne weitere Destillation geeignet.
Die folgenden Beispiele erläutern die Erfindung. Sämtliche Teile und Prozentangaben sind als Volumteile,
und alle Temperaturangaben sind in Grad Celsius zu verstehen, soweit nicht anders angegeben.
Beispiele 1 bis 6
In den folgenden Beispielen wurde ein Kupferoxydkatalysator verwendet. Die sekundären Phosphite
gemäß der Tabelle und der Katalysator wurden in den angegebenen Mengen in ein Reaktionsgefäß gegeben.
Sauerstoff wurde sodann in das Reaktionsgefäß unterhalb des Spiegels der Mischung eingeführt, und
zwar während der ebenfalls in der Tabelle angegebenen Zeitdauer:

Das Gemisch aus Dialkylphosphit und Monoalkylphosphit kann in bekannter Weise durch Salzbildung
getrennt werden. Die Salze haben verschiedene Löslichkeiten und können fraktioniert, kristallisiert oder
gelöst werden. Auch eine chromatographische Trennung ist denkbar. Eine Analyse des nicht getrennten
Rückstands wurde mit einem »Sargent Auto Titrater« durchgeführt. An verschiedenen Stellen traten Spitzenwerte
gegenüber einer kaustischen Standardprobe auf, wodurch die Prozentanteile des primären und sekundären
Phosphats in der Probe bestimmt werden konnten.
138 Teile Diäthylphosphit und 0,5 Teile Vanadiumpentoxyd wurden in ein Reaktionsgefäß gegeben und
auf ungefähr 115 0C erhitzt. Sauerstoff wurde unterhalb
des Spiegels des Reaktionsgemisches in einer Menge von 187 ml/Stunde während ungefähr 10 Stunden
zugeführt. Die anfänglich exotherme Reaktion wurde gekühlt und die Temperatur dadurch auf einen
Wert zwischen 130 und 160°C gehalten. Die Analyse ergab, daß 56,2% des Produkts aus Diäthylphosphat
(sauer) der Formel

und 31,9 % aus Monoäthylphosphat (sauer) der Formel P

Das Verfahren gemäß Beispiel 7 wurde wiederholt
unter Verwendung von 0,5 Teilen Kobalttrioxyd als Katalysator. Das Produkt wurde analysiert und erbrachte
einen Gehalt von 5,9 % Diäthylphosphat und 38,7% Monoäthylphosphat.
Das Verfahren gemäß Beispiel 7 wurde wiederholt unter Verwendung von Titandioxyd als Katalysator.
Die Reaktionsdauer betrug 12 Stunden. Eine Analyse ergab 9% Diäthylphosphat und 5,7% Monoäthylphosphat.
Claims (1)
- Patentanspruch:Verfahren zur Herstellung von Gemischen primärer und sekundärer Orthophosphorsäureester der allgemeinen FormelnO O(HO)2P-OR und HO-P(OR)2in denen der Rest R ein Alkyl-, Alkenyl-, insbesondere Allyl-, oder Arylrest, ein halogensubstituierter Alkyl-, Cycloalkyl-, Aralkyl- oder Arylrest ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man einen sekundären Phosphorigsäureester der allgemeinen FormelIlH-P(OR)2in der der Rest R die obengenannte Bedeutung hat, mit überschüssigem molekularem Sauerstoff in Gegenwart von Kupfer(I)-oxid, Kupfer(II)-oxid, Vanadin(V)-oxid, Kobalt(III)-oxid oder Titandioxid als Katalysator bei einer Temperatur von mindestens 85°C, vorzugsweise bei 120 bis 2050C5 oxydiert, wobei die Oxydationsdauer höchstens 20 Minuten und vorzugsweise 0,5 Sekunden bis 5 Minuten beträgt.
