Die Katalysatormenge beträgt vorzugsweise 10 bis ppm Pt. bezogen auf die Reaktionspartner. Man
setzt ihn z. B. in Form von Platinchlorwasserstoffsäure, gegebenenfalls gelöst in einem Lösungsmittel
oder als Platinmohr auf einem Träger ein. Die _ QYi Reaktion wird bei 80 bis 200 C, vorzugsweise bei
SO bis 130 C. durchgeführt. Man läßt die Reaktion

Die relative Menge des Alkenyläthers und des Hydrogensiloxans ist nicht ausschlaggebend. In

272 g (1,3 Mol) Trimethylolpropan-diallyläther wurden in einen 300-ml-Rolben mit Rührwerk,
Tropftrichter, Thermometer und Destillationsaufsatz unter Stickstoffatmosphäre eingewogen, 340 g Toluol
als Lösungsmittel zugefügt und die Mischung unter Rückfluß erhitzt. Es wurden 6 ppm Pt als Platinchlorwasserstoffsäure
(bezogen auf Siloxan + Alkohol) zugesetzt und dann 66,3 g Siloxan der Formel

In einem 500-ml-Kolben mit Rührwerk, Kühler,
Thermometer und Tropftrichter wurden in Stickstoffatmosphäre 79,0 g (0,369 Mol) Trimethylolpropandiallyläther
und 200 ml Toluol gegeben. Der Äther enthielt 24,2 Gewichtsprozent CH = CFfe-Gruppen
und 7,7 Gewichtsprozent alkoholische OH-Gruppen. Das Gemisch wurde unter Rückfluß erhitzt und
dabei eine kleine Menge Wasser entfernt. Es wurden anfangs 20 ppm Pt als Platinchlorwasserstoffsäure
und dann 121 g Heptamethyltrisiloxan

(0,545 Mol) langsam innerhalb von etwa 3 Stunden zugefügt. Während der Zugabe wurde häufig der
SiH-Gehalt im Reaktionsgemisch geprüft und mehr Katalysator und mehr Trimethylolpropan-diallyläther
zugegeben, um eine ausreichende Reaktion des SiH zu gewährleisten. Insgesamt wurden 40 ppm
Platin und 91,2 g (0,426 Mol) Trimethylolpropandiallyläther
benötigt. Das Reaktionsgemisch wurde 2 Stunden mit 3 l/Min. Stickstoff bei 130 "C gespült.
Das Produkt (213 kg) war eine klare bernsteinfarbene Flüssigkeit mit einer Viskosität von 25 cSt bei 25 "C.

In einen 500-ml-Kolben mit Rührwerk, Thermometer, Tropftrichter und Kühler wurden anfangs
99 g (0,560 Mol) Trimethylolpropan-monoallyläther und 200 ml Toluol eingebracht, zur Entfernung
von Spuren an Wasser unter Rückfluß erhitzt, dann 20 ppm Pt als Platinchlorwasserstoffsäure und schließlich
101 g (0,455 Mol) eines Hydrogensiloxangemischs der durchschnittlichen Zusammensetzung

tropfenweise der unter Rückfluß siedenden Mischung zugegeben. Kurz vor Beendigung der Zugabe wurden
3.9 g (0,022 Mol) Äther mit Silanwasserstoff zugegeben. Es wurden insgesamt 102.9 g oder 0,591 Mol
Trimethylolpropan-monoallyläther eingesetzt, die Zugabe dauerte etwa 45 Minuten. Das Reaktions-
19,4 g Pentaerythrit-diallyläther und 200 ml Toluol wurden in einem 500-ml-Kolben (0,09 Mol) zum
Rückfluß erhitzt, mit Rührwerk, Tropftrichter, Thermometer und Kühler eine Spur Wasser entfernt,
anfangs 12 ppm Pt als Platinchlorwasserstoffsäure in Tetrahydrofuran und schließlich 30,6 g (0,14 Mol)
destilliertes Heptamethyltrisiloxan

tropfenweise der unter Rückfluß siedenden Mischung zugegeben. Während der Zugabe des Siloxans wurde
der Kolbeninhalt von Zeit zu Zeit auf Silanwasserstoff geprüft und kleine Mengen Katalysator zugegeben.
Nach Beendigung der Zugabe wurden noch 1,5 g (0.007 Mol) Pentaerythritdiallyläther zugegeben. Insgesamt
wurden 20,9 g (0,097MoI) Pentaerythritdiallyläther zugesetzt. Dann wurde 1 g Natriumbicarbonat
zugefügt, die Mischung bei 130 "C mit 3 l/Min. Stickstoff gespült und dann filtriert. Das
Filtrat war ein bernsteinfarbenes öl mit einer Viskosität von 100 cSt bei 25 C. Es war zu wenigstens
5 Gewichtsprozent in η-Hexan, leichten Mineralölen, Isopropyläther und Äthanol löslich. Mit dieser
Konzentration war es in Wasser unlöslich. Dieses Siloxan hatte die Formel

25 g (0,098 Mol) Pentaerythrit-triallyläther wurden mit 300 ml Toluol in einem 500-ml-Kolben mit Rührwerk.
Kühler. Thermometer und Tropftrichter erhitzt und Spuren an Wasser azeotrop entfernt. Nun
wurden in Form von Platinchlorwasserstoffsäure in Tetrahydrofuran 11 ppm Pt und 44 g (0.20 Mol)
destilliertes Heptamethyltrisiloxan

zu Zeit zugegeben und kurz vor Beendigung der Zugabe, wenn Versuche zeigten, daß Silanwasserstoff
noch im Reaktionsgemisch vorhanden war. weitere 1.9 g (0.007 Mol) Pentaerythrit-triallyläther zugegeben.
Insgesamt wurden 26.9 g (0,105 Mol) Pentaerythrit-triallyläther verwendet. Die gesamte^ Menge
an Platinchlorwasserstoffsäure entsprach 60 ppm Pt. bezogen auf das eingesetzte Siloxan- und AIIyI-Material.
Schließlich wurde 1 g Natriumbicarbonat zugegeben und das Reaktionsgemisch mit 3 1 Min.

Das bei den erfindungsgemäß hergestellten Siloxanen
angewendete Verfahren ist durch die selektive Reaktion und den raschen Reaktionsablauf des
Allyloxy- und Vinyloxyalkohols mit dem Silanwasserstoff charakterisiert. Nur in verhältnismäßig
geringem Ausmaß verläuft die Reaktion über die COH-Gruppen. Dies ist nicht der Fall bei einem
Alkenylalkohol. wie Allylalkohol. Der folgende Versuch zeigt diesen Unterschied.
Vergleichsversuch 1
In einen 1-1-Kolben mit Rührwerk. Kühler,
Thermometer und Tropftrichter wurden 116.2 g (2.0 Mol) Allylalkohol und 350 ml Toluol gegeben.

unter Rückfluß erhitzt, 80 ppm Pt als Katalysator eingebracht und 266 g (1,0MoISiH) eines äquilibrierten
Hydrogensiloxans der durchschnittlichen Zusammensetzung

zugetropft. Die Addition von SiH an die Allylgruppe
erfolgte sehr träge. Intermittierend während der Zugabe wurde der Zustrom des Hydrogensiloxans
unterbrochen und nach mehreren Minuten außerhalb des Reaktionsgefäßes der Silanwasserstoff im Reaktionsgemisch
bestimmt. Alle Versuche zeigten, daß erhebliche Mengen an Silicium gebundenem Wasserstoff
zurückblieben. Nach Beendigung der Addition, 1 Stunde Sieden unter Rückfluß und nach Stehenlassen
über Nacht waren noch beträchtliche Mengen an Silicium gebundenem Wasserstoff im Reaktionsgemisch vorhanden. Das Gemisch wurde 45 Minuten
unter Rückfluß erhitzt, worauf eine Prüfung zeigte, daß nur noch Spuren an Silicium gebundenem
Wasserstoff zurückgeblieben waren. Das Reaktionsgemisch wurde filtriert und bei 1300C mit Stickstoff
gespült. Das Endprodukt war eine klare, bernsteinfarbige, fließfähige Masse.
Analyse
Zur vollständigen Addition unter Bildung der Gruppen -OMeSiC3H6OH:
(350 cSt bei 132°C). Der Zylinder ist mit einem Gasverteilerrohr verbunden; es weist eine scheibenförmige
Glasfritte mittlerer Porosität (30 mm 0) auf und ist über einen Gummischlauch mit Strö-'
mungsmesser an eine Stickstoffflasche angeschlossen. Die schäumende Masse war ein25gewichtsprozentiges
Gemisch (3 : 1 Gewichtsteile) von Diäthylenglykol und Dipropylenglykol mit 75 Gewichtsprozent destilliertem
Wasser. Es werden 0,5 Gewichtsprozent Verunreinigung (bezogen auf das gesamte Glykol-Wasser-Gemisch)
zugegeben, um das Schäumen hervorzurufen.
Das Glykol-Wasser-Aromaten-Gemisch wird zum
Sieden (1050C) erhitzt und 150 ml dieses siedenden
Gemisches in den mit Heizmantel versehenen Meßzylinder gegeben. Das Antischaummittel wird mit
einer Pipette als l%ige Lösung in- »Dimethylcellosolv« zugefügt. Die Mischung wurde gerührt
und über das Gasverteilerrohr Stickstoff in einer Menge von 1 l/Min, zugeführt.
Folgende Tabellel zeigt das Schaumvolumen nach gewissen Zeiten.
Berechnet:
OH 5,3%, — CH = CH3 — 0,0%;.
gefunden:
OH 1,7% (Phthalation) bzw. 1,0% (Grignard), — CH = CH2 — 4,6%.

Wenn die gesamte Reaktion des SiH an die COH-Gruppen ging, ergibt sich für — CH = CH2 — 8,4%.
Aus diesem Versuch ist offensichtlich, daß erstens die Reaktion von an Silicium gebundenem Wasserstoff
außerordentlich träge verläuft im Vergleich zu den Reaktionen mit Allyloxy- oder Vinyloxygruppen
und zweitens daß eine weitgehendere Umsetzung von an Silicium gebundenem Wasserstoff mit den
COH-Gruppen als mit der Doppelbindung stattfindet. Dieses Produkt würde größere Mengen an
hydrolysierbaren Bindungen enthalten. Nach mehrwöchentlicher Lagerung gelierte dieses Produkt. Im
Gegensatz hierzu zeigte das Produkt mit dem gleichen Anteil an SiH aus Trimethylolpropan-monoallyläther
nach mehreren Monaten eine sehr geringe Viskositätserhöhung.
Im folgenden soll die Verwendbarkeit der erfindungsgemäß erhaltenen Produkte und ihre Überlegenheit
gezeigt werden.

Der Versuch zeigt, daß Siloxan I (aus Beispiel 1) und Siloxan II (Beispiel 2) wirksame Antischaummittel
in heißen Glykol-Wasser-Mischungen sind, welche Spuren an Aromaten enthalten. Dieses
schäumende Gemisch zeigt die Situation, wie sie während des Abstreifens im Rahmen der üblichen
Gewinnungsmethoden für Aromaten auftritt.
Die für diesen Versuch benutzte Vorrichtung besteht aus einem kalibrierten 1-1-Zylinder mit Heizmantel
in Form eines Dimethylsiloxanöls,

Dieser Versuch soll zeigen, daß Siloxan I (Beispiel 1) und Siloxan II (Beispiel 2) als Antischaummittel bei Schmierölen wirksam sind. Für den Versuch
wurde ungemischtes »California Lube Oil« (Cities Service Company) verwendet. Es wurde die Prüfvorrichtung
des Vergleichsversuchs 2 angewendet.
100 ml Schmieröl wurden in eine etwa 115 g fassende Flasche gegeben, 0,1 ml einer 0,l%igen
Lösung des Antischaummittels (MeOCH2CH2OMe)
in »Dimethylcellosolv« eingeführt, die Flasche verschlossen, geschüttelt und der Inhalt dann in einen
1-1-Meßkolben geschüttet, über das Gasverteilerrohr
wurde Stickstoff mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 1 l/Min, eingeleitet. Das gesamte Volumen
(Schaum + Flüssigkeit) wurde dann in Zeitabständen gemessen. Zwei Versuchsreihen wurden gleichzeitig
durchgeführt und als Versuch A und Versuch B bezeichnet.
Die Tabelle 2 zeigt, daß die erfindungsgemäßen Produkte wirksame Antischaummittel in Schmieröl
und innerhalb der Fehlergrenzen einem üblichen Silikon-Antischaummittel zumindest gleichwertig sind.

Vergleichsversuch 4
Hier soll die Wirksamkeit der erfindungsgemäßen Produkte bei der Herstellung von Butadien-Styrol-Latizes
gezeigt werden. Das schäumende Medium aus 100 ml Butadien-Styrol-Latex in einem 100-ml-Meßzylinder
wurde mit Stickstoff (1 l/Min.) durchströmt. Die Siloxane wurden als 10%ige Lösung
in Perchloräthylen angewandt und in einer Menge von 100 ppm als Antischaummittel untersucht. Die
Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 4 zusammengefaßt. Es tritt keine Koagulation der Latizes auf.
Der Latex bestand aus etwa 50 Gewichtsprozent Wasser mit etwa 60 Gewichtsprozent Butadien-Styrol-Mischpolymer.

- Patentanspruch:Verfahren zur Herstellung von Hydroxyalkyloxyalkylsiloxanen der FormelnRO-CH2 r;HOCH2 — C — CH2O — (CH2),, τ- SiO3;x.gekennzeichnet, daß man Hydroxyalkylalkenyläther der FormelnRO-CH2■ ro—CH2 r;HOCH2 — C — CH2O — (CH2),, — SiO3 _
RO-CH2oderHOQH11O-(CH2),,-ROworin R ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Alkenylgruppe ist. »einen Wert von 2 bis 10. α einen Wert von wenigstens 2 und .v einen Wert von 0 bis 2 hat und R' eine einwertige Kohlenwasserstoffgruppe ohne olefinische Bindungen ist. gegebenenfalls im Gemisch mit Siloxanen der FormelHO CH2 — ( : · CH2 • (CH2U · •o- (CH2U2 CH = CH2 ROCH2 HO CH2 " V- V- IiT • O- (CH2U2 CH = CH2 oder
