Abstract

Η εφεύρεση αναφέρεται σε μια μέθοδο για τη λήψη παραγώγων [[(πυριδιλ υποκατεστημένου)μεθυλ]θειο]βενζιμιδαζολίου (I), όπου R1, R3 και R4 ανεξάρτητα αναπαριστούν υδρογόνο, αλκύλιο, αλκοξύ ή φθοριωμένο αλκοξύ με 1 έως 6 άτομα άνθρακα, R2 αναπαριστά άζωτο, αλογόνο, αλκοξύ ή αλογονωμένο αλκοξύ με 1 έως 6 άτομα άνθρακα ή μια -Ο-(CH2)n-OR8 ομάδα, όπου n είναι ένας ακέραιος αριθμός από 1 έως 6 και R8 αναπαριστά υδρογόνο ή μια αλκυλο ομάδα με 1 έως 6 άτομα άνθρακα. Η μέθοδος περιλαμβάνει τα ακόλουθα στάδια: (α) αντίδραση ενός Ν-οξειδίου μεθυλοπυριδίνης με έναν ανυδρίτη καρβοξυλικού οξέος ή σουλφονικού οξέος και (β) αντίδραση του ενδιάμεσου προϊόντος που διαμορφώνεται στο στάδιο (α) με ένα αντίστοιχο μερκαπτοβενζιμιδαζόλιο. Οι ενώσεις (I) είναι χρήσιμες για τη σύνθεση [[(πυριδιλ υποκατεστημένου)μεθυλ]θειο]βενζιμιδαζολίου, για παράδειγμα, ομεπραζόλη, λανσοπραζόλη, ραβεπραζόλη και παντοπραζόλη.
