Abstract
La invención se relaciona con un método para la descomposición catalítica de N2O en un gas que contiene N2O y NOx en la presencia de un catalizador, en donde el catalizador contiene una zeolita que ha sido cargada con un primer metal seleccionado de un grupo de metales nobles que comprende rutenio, rodio, paladio, plata, renio, osmio, iridio, platino y oro, y con un segundo metal seleccionado de un grupo de metales de transición que consiste de cromo, manganeso, hierro, cobalto, níquel y cobre, y porque la carga de la zeolita con estos metales es efectuada mediante la carga de la zeolita con el metal noble y el metal de transición simultáneamente, también se relaciona con un catalizador para este método y con un método para la preparación de dicho catalizador.
