Abstract
Se describen las microesferas biodegradablescapaces de liberar un péptido regulador de la glucosa deuna manera controlada, que comprende un portadorpolimérico biodegradable con el péptido regulador de laglucosa encapsulado en éste, y los métodos para lapreparación de las mismas. Además, para asegurar la altaeficiencia de encapsulamiento y la alta estabilidad delfármaco encapsulado, las microesferas no muestran unefecto inicial rápida ni tampoco liberación incompleta, ypermiten la liberación de orden cero de los fármacos en unperiodo prolongado, mejorando de este modo el efectoterapéutico del fármaco.1.- Una microesfera biodegradable capaz de liberar unpéptido regulador de la glucosa de una manera controlada,caracterizada porque comprende un portador poliméricobiodegradable con el péptido regulador de la glucosaencapsulado en éste.2.- La microesfera biodegradable de conformidad conla reivindicación 1, caracterizada porque el péptidoregulador de la glucosa se selecciona del grupo queconsiste de exendina-3 sintética, exendina-4 sintética, yhomólogos y agonistas de los mismos, sintéticos.3.- La microesfera biodegradable de conformidad conla reivindicación 2, caracterizada porque el péptidoregulador de la glucosa es exendina-4.4.- La microesfera biodegradable de conformidadcon la reivindicación 1, caracterizada porque el polímerobiodegradable se selecciona de un grupo que consiste deácido poli-L-láctico, ácido poli-D-láctico-ácido-co-glicólico,ácido poli-L-láctico-ácido-co-glicólico y ácido poli-D,L-láctico-ácido-co-glicólicc ácido.
