背景技术
现在市场上有很多形式的用于各种各样器械的把手。这些器械可涵盖从冲击施加器械,像锤柄或者其他手工工具,到运动器械,像网球、壁球、或短柄壁球球拍、或高尔夫球杆,或用于摩托车、自行车等的简单手柄。尽管本实用新型特别适于生产高尔夫球杆的把手,并且详细参照其进行了描述,但很明显本实用新型不应仅限于高尔夫球把手,其可以扩展到任何形式的把手。
起初,高尔夫球杆把手主要由手柄周围的真皮包裹形成。后来,模制橡胶把手成为可能,现在仍被广泛使用。模制橡胶把手的最新变化是在手柄上使用橡胶套管或基体(underlisting),用皮革或者合成皮革包裹螺旋缠绕在基体周围以获得柔软的手感。目前,可以采用非常广泛的材料使用各种方法来制造把手,例如注射成型或压模(模制)工艺。
仍然需要对工艺进行改进,以使得其能够生产具有颜色和/或材料组成显著区分的把手,同时能够控制分离线或者分型线(此处也称为把手分模线)处材料的流动。所制得的把手将能够提供一种具有审美观赏性的外形和出众的抓握手感。
发明内容
本实用新型涉及一种用于制造把手的改进的压模和制造方法,其包括如下步骤:提供压模,该压模包括具有模腔的上半部分、具有模腔的下半部分和化合物保持板(compound retention plate)。提供分隔板,用以在模制工艺期间分隔该上半部分和下半部分的模腔。将第一弹性体材料放置在该下半部分的模腔中,并且在其上放置该分隔板。将颜色、组成或者两者都不同的第二弹性体材料放置在该分隔板的选定位置,用以填充该上半部分的模腔。然后闭合该压模,并且加热以使弹性体材料分配/分布在各自的模腔内。移走该分隔板,在该压模的上半部分和下半部分的模腔之间定位一芯杆。模腔内的弹性体材料在足够完成成型和固化该把手的温度下进行压缩模制。
本实用新型的方法允许使用不同颜色的材料来形成把手,在模制工艺完成后在分型线或者把手分模线处具有明显的颜色区分。
本实用新型的方法允许使用二元化合物(dual compounds),通过简单、直接的制造过程获得不同抓握手感的把手。
本实用新型的改进的压模使得本实用新型的方法更为简化。

在根据本实用新型的方法的第二步骤,即步骤2中,将用虚线所示的具有所需要颜色、组成和形态的第一弹性体材料50放置在下半模具部分24的下部模腔30中。该第一弹性体材料50可使用任何合适的形态填充入模腔30中,如液体、固体、半固体、粉末、颗粒形式或者与模腔形状一致的预制片材。以在加压模塑和加热过程中能够溢出该模腔30的方式添加该弹性材料。并修剪多余的材料。
接下来,在步骤3中,将分隔板26放置在下半部分24的模腔30上面。虚线所示的可选的定位销44构造成被接纳在下半模具部分24中的开口46内,以在压模20内对准分隔板26。

然后在步骤6中小心地打开该压模20,从该压模20中移除分隔板26,使得该分隔板26与仍然设置在各自模腔28、30内的弹性体材料50、52分开。
如图10所示,将芯杆或者芯轴27通过上半和下半部分22、24的开口端34插入到该压模20内,所述芯杆或者芯轴27具有与模腔28、30基本相符的延伸的大致圆柱形。
加热该压模20。压模20的压力足够将弹性体材料硫化为一体成型的高尔夫球杆把手,其结构如图2的剖视图所示,当使用两种不同颜色的弹性体材料时具有至少两种明显不同的颜色17、18。可以使用已知方式修剪模制过程中形成的任何多余材料或飞边。
通过从化合物保持板25的每个边延伸进模腔28、30的前缘54、56形成把手12中的凹槽19a和19b。化合物保持板25以这种方式安装在下半模具部分24上,其以相应于所需把手形状的形状将至少一个前缘54、56以悬垂关系置于模腔28、30内。凹槽19a和19b具有大约3毫米或者更小的宽度,大约1毫米或者更小的深度。本实用新型方法的其他实施例中提供了一种仅在把手12一侧出现的凹槽19。在这个实施例中,仅在化合物保持板25上提供一个前缘54。本实用新型的另一实施例则构造成具有两个构件25a和25b形式的化合物保持板25,如图5所示。

上半模具部分,所述上半模具部分在其内部具有模腔;
下半模具部分,所述下半模具部分在其内部具有模腔;
