Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及用于电火炉或者煤气火炉的火焰模拟装置,尤其是一种具有荧光屏的火焰模拟装置,该荧光屏的前表面上具有一种图案。
发明背景
美国专利No.6050011(Hess etal.)公开了一种火焰模拟装置,其中,在具有局部反光前表面的荧光屏(screen)上,丝网印刷点的位置与透明面板侧面上的点位置相对应,以给人以砖墙的感觉。但为了获得良好的假想砖墙效果,就需要该设置在荧光屏前面的侧面,观察者能经由该侧面看到荧光屏。如同该美国专利No.6050011所公开的,该火焰模拟装置中一种通常为透明的面板的侧面可用于此目的。
但在某些情况下,电火炉或者煤气火炉不具有透明面板。例如,受空间约束而限制该电火炉或者煤气火炉的深度的情况下,该火炉就不具有透明面板。同时,为实现该美国专利No.6050011中所公开的假想砖墙效果而需要的额外部件会略微地增加制造成本。
因此,需要这样一种火焰模拟装置,该装置能模拟出壁炉中耐火砖的效果。
发明概述
就本发明的一较宽方面而言,其提供了一种火焰模拟装置,该装置具有一模拟燃料层、一光源以及一荧光屏。该光源是可操作的,用来产生一种似乎是由该模拟燃料层发出的火焰影像。同时,该荧光屏具有位于该模拟燃料层后方的一前表面,用于经由该前表面传送火焰影像。该荧光屏还具有一种图案,该图案用于向该火焰影像的观察者模拟出耐火砖影像。

优选实施例的详细说明
首先参照图1,以说明根据本发明的、通常用数字10表示的一种火焰模拟装置的优选实施例。如在图1-3中所示,该火焰模拟装置10包括一模拟燃料层12,一光源14,以及一荧光屏16。在该优选实施例中,该光源14是可操作的,用于制造一种看来像是从该模拟燃料层12发出的火焰影像。该荧光屏16具有一设置在该模拟燃料层12后方的前表面18,用于经由该前表面18传送该火焰影像。在该优选实施例中,该荧光屏16具有一种图案20,用于给该火焰影像的观察者(未表示)模拟出耐火砖影像。
如在图1-3中可见,该火焰模拟装置10包括一外壳22,构成该火焰模拟装置10的各组件以任何适当的方式直接或者间接地与该外壳22相连。该火焰模拟装置10的优选实施例还可包括一透明面板23,该面板23位于外壳22前部的狭槽内。
优选的,该前表面18是局部反光的,以反射该模拟燃料层12的影像。另外,如美国专利Nos.4965707,5642580以及6050011中所公开的,该荧光屏16具有一背表面或背件24,该背表面或背件24位于该局部反光的前表面18的后方,以散射并传送穿过该局部反光的前表面18的光。优选的,该图案20位于该背表面24的前面。
如美国专利4965707所公开的,该局部反光的前表面18可由玻璃或者其它任何适当的材料构成,例如丙烯酸类或者有机玻璃,其最好镀上稍许银。该背表面24可由一种片材料后表面组成,该片材料具有局部反光的前表面;或者该背表面24包括一种背件,该背件由例如经蚀刻、磨蚀、磨砂、或其它制作或处理的一片玻璃或者其它任何适当的物质组成,这样该背件就可散射传送过其的光线。
优选的,该图案20形成在该前表面18上。可利用任何适当的方法将该图案20绘制或者刻印在该前表面18上。例如,可通过网印、凸印、平印、凹印或其它方法,在该前表面18上形成该图案20。可使用油墨或者颜料等来形成彩色或者黑白的该图案20。优选的,采用黑色和灰色油墨,利用丝网印刷方法在该前表面18上形成该图案20。优选的,所形成的该图案20用来模拟一堵耐火砖,经绘制或者印制,从而使该图案20具有深度错觉。
如所示,所形成的该图案20用来模拟耐火砖,一种由耐火泥制成的具有极高耐热性的砖,用于排列火炉、烟囱以及壁炉。可替换的,所形成的该图案20可用来模拟其它任何适当的一个或多个物体的影像。
该模拟燃料层12可由任何适当的材料制成。优选的,该模拟燃料层12包括一模拟的灰烬台26以及许多模拟的燃烧元件28。优选的,所形成的该模拟灰烬台26用于接收该模拟燃烧元件28,如加拿大专利No.2310362中所述。图1-3表示了许多模拟成木材的模拟燃烧元件28。可替换的,该模拟燃烧元件28可形成为形状类似于煤块(未表示)。
如在图3中可见,该火焰模拟装置10的优选实施例还包括一闪烁件30以及一火焰效果件32。该闪烁件30位于光由该光源14传送至该背表面24的路径上,用于使光线闪烁,以产生火焰影像。优选的,如美国专利No.5642580中所公开的,该闪烁件30由许多主要由反射材料制成、绕一轴36设置且自该轴36起径向向外延伸的条状物34组成。当该火焰模拟装置10工作时,利用任何适当的装置,例如一马达(未表示)使该闪烁件30绕该轴36转动。
在该优选实施例中,优选的,该火焰效果件32由金属片或者其它任何合适的材料制成,如美国专利No.6047489中所公开的。该火焰效果件32位于光自该光源14经该闪烁件30反射后的闪烁光的路径上,以使该闪烁光成形。该火焰效果件32使该闪烁光成形以产生火焰影像。当该火焰效果件32由一片金属片组成的情况下,一幅火焰图案就被切割成块,以提供一个或多个孔口,这些孔口使该闪烁光成形为一种火焰影像,这样就经由该前表面18表现出该火焰影像。也可采取其它合适的布置,例如可替换的,该火焰效果件32由一反射面(未表示)组成,该反射面的形状和位置是这样设定的,从而使得能够将该闪烁光构造成一幅火焰影像。
如自图1-3中可见,该火焰模拟装置10的优选实施例还包括两块板38,40。图2表示了该板38,40基本上垂直地位于该荧光屏16与该外壳22之间、靠近该前表面18的垂直侧41。每块板38,40的形状及颜色都是这样设定的,使其能模拟出该图案20所模拟出的耐火砖影像。优选的,在该板38,40上具有一种侧壁图案42,该图案42是这样定位的,当该板38,40在其通常位置上时,该侧壁图案42与该图案20对齐,从而进一步地提供一种深度错觉。

该火焰模拟装置110的另一实施例表示在图4中。在图4中,与图1-3中所示部件相类似的部件上标上了相应的数字。
该火焰模拟装置110包括一荧光屏116,该荧光屏116具有一不反射的无光泽区域150,一反射区域152,以及一过渡区域154。如美国专利No.6269567中所公开的,该反射区域152位于该模拟燃料层12附近,且至少部分地反射该模拟燃料层12。该不反射的无光泽区域150位于该模拟燃料层12的远端,且传送火焰影像。该过渡区域154位于该不反射的无光泽区域150与该反射区域152之间。
在该火焰模拟装置110中,优选的,一种图案120基本上位于该不反射的无光泽区域150内,同时延伸入该过渡区域154内。优选的,如图4所示,该图案120模拟出耐火砖影像。如图4所示且如所述,由于该图案120与该不反射的无光泽区域150以及该过渡区域154相结合,略微增强了由该图案120所获得的模拟效果。可替换的,该图案120可模拟出任何适当的一个或多个物体的影像。
本发明的上述实施例仅仅是几个例子。本领域技术人员在不脱离由以下权利要求书所限定的本发明范围的情况下,可对这些特定实施例作出替换,修改以及变形。

Claims (11)

1.一种火焰模拟装置,具有:
(a)模拟燃料层;
(b)光源,可操作用来产生一种似乎是由所述模拟燃料层发出的火焰影像;以及
(c)荧光屏,其具有一位于所述模拟燃料层后方的前表面,该荧光屏用于经由所述前表面传送火焰影像,该荧光屏具有一种图案,所述图案用于向所述火焰影像的观察者模拟出耐火砖影像。
2.根据权利要求1所述的一种火焰模拟装置,其特征在于,所述前表面是局部反光的,用于反射所述模拟燃料层的影像,所述荧光屏包括一位于所述局部反光的前表面后方的背表面,该背表面用于通过所述局部反光的前表面散射及传送光,所述图案位于所述背表面的前面。
3.根据权利要求2所述的一种火焰模拟装置,其特征在于,所述局部反光的前表面具有一基本上不反射的无光泽区域,所述不反射的无光泽区域位于所述模拟燃料层的远端,未被所述不反射的无光泽区域覆盖的所述前表面部分为一普通反射区域,这样所述模拟燃料层基本上就是在所述前表面内反射的唯一物体,其中,经由所述前表面传送来自所述光源的光。
4.根据权利要求3所述的一种火焰模拟装置,其特征在于,所述前表面还包括一个过渡区域,所述过渡区域是局部反射、局部不反射的,所述过渡区域位于所述不反射的无光泽区域与所述反射区域之间。
5.根据权利要求1所述的一种火焰模拟装置,还包括靠近所述荧光屏的至少一块板,所述板具有形成在其上的一种侧壁图案,所述图案用来模拟出耐火砖影像。
6.一种火焰模拟装置,具有:
(a)模拟燃料层;
(b)光源;
(c)荧光屏,其具有一位于所述模拟燃料层后方的用于反射及传送光的局部反光的前表面,以及一位于所述局部反光的前表面后方的用于散射及传送光的散射背表面;
(d)闪烁件,位于光从所述光源至所述散射背表面的路径上,用于产生一种火焰影像;以及
(e)所述局部反光的前表面具有一基本上不反射的无光泽区域,所述不反射的无光泽区域位于所述模拟燃料层的远端,未被所述不反射的无光泽区域覆盖的所述前表面部分为一普通反射区域,这样所述模拟燃料层基本上就是在所述前表面内反射的唯一物体,所述荧光屏具有一种模拟出耐火砖影像的图案,
其特征在于,来自光源的光经由所述前表面传送,这样就经由所述前表面显现出所述火焰影像。
7.根据权利要求6所述的一种火焰模拟装置,其特征在于,所述前表面还包括一过渡区域,所述过渡区域是局部反射、局部不反射的,所述过渡区域位于所述不反射的无光泽区域与所述反射区域之间。
8.根据权利要求7所述的一种火焰模拟装置,其特征在于,所述图案基本上位于所述不反射的无光泽区域内,并且延伸入所述过渡区域内。
9.一种火焰模拟装置,具有:
(a)模拟燃料层;
(b)光源;
(c)荧光屏,其具有一位于所述模拟燃料层后方的用于反射及传送光的局部反光的前表面,以及一位于所述局部反光的前表面后方的用于散射及传送光的散射背表面;
(d)闪烁件,位于光从所述光源至所述散射背表面的路径上,用于产生火焰影像;以及
(e)火焰效果件,位于光路径上,用于设定光以产生火焰影像;以及
(f)所述局部反光的前表面具有一基本上不反射的无光泽区域,所述不反射的无光泽区域位于所述模拟燃料层的远端,未被所述不反射的无光泽区域覆盖的所述前表面部分为一普通反射区域,这样所述模拟燃料层基本上就是在所述前表面内反射的唯一物体,所述荧光屏具有一种模拟出耐火砖影像的图案,
其特征在于,来自光源的光经由所述前表面传送,这样就经由所述前表面显现出所述火焰影像。
10.根据权利要求9所述的一种火焰模拟装置,其特征在于,所述前表面还包括一过渡区域,所述过渡区域是局部反射、局部不反射的,所述过渡区域位于所述不反射的无光泽区域与所述反射区域之间。
11.根据权利要求10所述的一种火焰模拟装置,其特征在于,所述图案基本上位于所述不反射的无光泽区域内,并且延伸入所述过渡区域内。
