该铁盐是二价三价铁盐和/或二价铁盐和/或三价铁盐。

本发明的燃料改良剂是由二价三价铁盐和/或二价铁盐和/或三价铁盐。
(二价铁盐·三价铁盐)
作为本发明的燃料改良剂所使用的二价铁盐和/或三价铁盐可例举出:二价铁或三价铁的盐酸盐,硫酸盐,硝酸盐,磷酸盐等无机酸盐,或者是二价铁或三价铁的醋酸盐,甲酸盐,草酸盐,柠檬酸盐等有机酸盐等。上述二价铁盐及三价铁也可二种以上混合使用。
(二价三价铁盐)
本发明的二价三价铁盐是显示二价铁和三价铁的中间性质的铁的盐酸盐,硫酸盐,硝酸盐,磷酸盐等无机盐,甲酸盐,醋酸盐,丙酸盐等有机酸盐。二价三价铁盐是以将三价铁的盐类投入至多量的氢氧化钠,氢氧化钾,氢氧化锂,氢氧化钙等强碱水溶液中使其向着二价铁发生原子价变换,或者是将二价铁的盐类投入多量的盐酸,硫酸等强酸的水溶液中使其向着三价铁发生原子变换的两种情况之间的过渡形态得到。以下具体说明二价三价铁盐的制造方法。
对于制造上述二价三价铁盐通常是用以下的二种方法。
1.从三价铁盐制造的方法
将1.0毫克的三氯化铁(FeCl3·6H2O)投入至100毫升的0.5当量浓度(N)的氢氧化钠水溶液中搅拌溶解后静置一夜,然后将生成的不溶性物质过滤并将其过滤液用盐酸中和,之后,进行减压浓缩,并在干燥器中使其干燥结晶化。这样一来就获得了被氯化钠所承载的二价三价铁的氯化物(以下称为氯化铁(II,III)),从该承载物中分离出氯化铁(II,III)需再加入浓度为80%的异丙醇水溶液50毫升,收集其溶解成分,再进行减压浓缩除去溶剂,使之干燥。通过数次重复上述抽出-浓缩-干燥的操作过程,就获得0.25毫克的氯化铁(II,III)。
2.从二价铁盐制造的方法
将1.0毫克的硫酸亚铁(FeSO4·7H2O)投入至100毫升的0.5当量浓度(N)盐酸水溶液中搅拌溶解后并静置一夜,然后将生成的不溶性物质过滤并将其过滤液减压浓缩后放在干燥器中干燥,再在得到的干燥粉末中加入浓度为80%的异丙醇水溶液10毫升,收集其溶解成分,再进行减压浓缩除去溶剂,使之干燥。通过数次上述抽出-浓缩-干燥的操作过程,就获得0.6毫克的氯化铁(II,III)。
本发明的二价三价铁盐也可以被氯化钠、硫酸钠、氯化铵、硫酸铵、氯化锌、硫酸锌、氧化锌、氢氧化锌、醋酸锌、硅藻土,皂土(膨润土),二氧化硅、氧化铝等无机化合物,维他命,激素,蛋白质,脂质等有机化合物所承载,即使在这种情况下,二价三价铁盐的作用也无任何变化。
燃料改良剂的调制
对于调制本发明的燃料改良剂,是将二价铁盐和/或三价铁盐和/或二价三价铁盐溶解在乙醇,异丙醇,正丁醇,异丁醇,叔丁醇等醇类,或者是上述醇和水的混合溶剂中,再在该溶液里添加混合与燃料有相溶性的溶剂,优选是汽油,煤油,轻油,重油等石油类溶剂。
像这样的调制成的本发明的燃料改良剂中,通常二价铁盐和/或三价铁盐和/或二价三价铁盐是以1~5ppm左右被含有。
燃料改良
本发明的燃料改良剂通常是对每1000ml的汽油,煤油,轻油,重油等燃料添加0.1~1.0ml左右。通过该燃料改良剂而被改良的燃料,不但提高了燃烧效率,而且CO,NOX等有害成分的发生也被抑制。
发明的效果
由本发明的燃料改良剂所改良的燃料,明显提高了燃烧效率,例如,使用作汽车的燃料,其燃料消费率(km/l)显著提高,并且所排出废气中的CO,NOX等有害成分的含有量也明显减少。实施例1(二价三价铁盐的制造)
将1克的硫酸亚铁(FeSO4·6H2O)投入5毫升至12当量浓度(N)的盐酸水溶液中,搅拌后,将生成的不溶性物质通过滤纸(No.5C)过滤,将该溶液的一部分作为检测样品并将其减压浓缩后放在干燥器中干燥,再在得到的干燥粉末中加入浓度为80%的异丙醇水溶液10毫升,收集其溶解成分,再进行减压浓缩除去溶剂,使之干燥。通过数次重复上述抽出-浓缩-干燥的操作过程,就获得氯化铁的结晶体。
用该结晶体调制成浓度为5%的水溶液,将其中的0.01毫升点滴在纸色谱法用滤纸No.51A(2cm×40cm)的下端到内侧3cm的地方,再将作为显色溶剂的,容量比为正丁醇∶醋酸∶水=5∶1∶4的混合物在20℃的条件下进行15小时的上方显色。显色后使该滤纸干燥,再在该干燥后的滤纸上用作为发色试剂的1%的铁氰化钾水溶液对其喷雾,并使之显色。这样就能确认该结晶的显色位置是1个点滴,Rf=0.07。
接着用上述同样的纸色谱法测试,用1∶1等量的FeCl2和FeCl3的混合物进行显色操作,确认了其显色结果是二个点滴,分别是Rf=0.095(FeCl2)和Rf=0.36(FeCl3)。根据上述纸色谱法测试确认了该结晶体不是混合物而是单一化合物。
接着再将0.1克的该结晶体溶解于蒸馏水中,调制成100毫升检测液,用50毫升的量瓶采取该检测液2.5毫升,再加入0.1%的邻菲咯啉2.5毫升以及醋酸钠-醋酸缓冲剂(pH4.5)2.5毫升,再加入蒸馏水到标线为止。再在室温中静置30分钟后用波长510nm的光谱来测定吸光度。关与FeCl2用同样的方法从得到的标准曲线上可以求出检测液的二价铁是0.019g/100ml。
接着再对量瓶添加上述操作中的检测液的时候,预先添加10重量%的羟胺盐酸盐水溶液,以将三价铁还原成二价铁,这种情况下所获得的二价铁量是0.038g/100ml,因而该三价铁量就是0.038g/ml-0.019g/100ml=0.019g/100ml,这样就判明了该结晶中的二价铁和三价铁的含有量是等量。根据以上的测试推定该结晶体是Fe2Cl5·xH2O。实施例2(二价三价铁盐的制造)
将1克的三氯化铁投入到5毫升10当量浓度(N)的氢氧化钠水溶液中,搅拌后用10当量浓度(N)的盐酸水溶液中和,然后将生成的不溶性成分通过滤纸(No.5C)过滤,将该溶液的一部分作为检测样品并将其减压浓缩后放在干燥器中干燥,再在得到的干燥粉末中加入浓度为80%的异丙醇水溶液10毫升,收集其溶解成分,再进行减压浓缩除去溶剂,使之干燥。将上述抽出-浓缩-干燥的操作过程重复数次,就获得氯化铁的结晶。
接着对上述结晶体进行和实施例1同样的测试就能推定该结晶体是Fe2Cl5·xH2O。
实施例3
将实施例1制造的二价三价铁盐2克溶解于,异丙醇∶水=80∶20重量比的100ml混合溶剂中,再将该溶液添加混合在煤油里,这样就调制成了含有2ppm二价三价氯化铁的燃料改良剂No.1。
实施例4
将实施例2制造的二价三价铁盐2克溶解于,异丙醇∶水=80∶20重量比的100ml混合溶剂中,再将该溶液添加混合在煤油里,这样就调制成了含有2ppm二价三价氯化铁的燃料改良剂No.2。
实施例5
将脱水氯化铁(FeCl3)5克溶解于,异丙醇∶水=75∶25重量比的100ml混合溶剂中,再将该溶液添加混合在煤油里,这样就调制成了含有3ppm二价三价氯化铁的燃料改良剂No.3。
实施例6
将脱水氯化亚铁(FeCl2)5克溶解于,异丙醇∶水=75∶25重量比的100ml混合溶剂中,再将该溶液添加混合在煤油里,这样就调制成了含有3ppm二价三价氯化铁的燃料改良剂No.4。
性能测试
按照每1000ml汽油分别以0.5ml的比例,各自添加至燃料改良剂No.1,No.2,No.3,No.4。再将这添加了燃料改良剂的汽油使用在福特汽车(车型:Ford Explorer)里进行实车测试,其结果见表1。

依照表1结果,通过本发明燃料改良剂的添加,可以确认燃料消费率(km/l)比无添加汽油燃料提高了15%。
在上述实车测试中排出废气中成分分析的结果见表2。

依照表2结果,通过本发明燃料改良剂的添加,可以确认HC及N-CH4减少至50%以下,CO及CH4约减少至60%,NOX减少至60以下,CO2也有若干减少。进一步比较燃料改良剂No.1~燃料改良剂No.4,可以确认最有改良效果的是二价三价铁盐,其次是二价铁盐和三价铁盐。
权利要求书(按照条约第19条的修改)
根据PCT条约第19条修改时的声明
2001年10月11日国际局受理:对权利要求1,5进行修改,将原始递交的权利要求2、3、4、6和7删除。
在权利要求第1项及第5项,所述的铁盐只限定为二价三价铁盐。
在对比文件1~24中,虽然公开了由铁盐形成燃料改良剂,但没有公开二价三价铁盐。
从原说明书第6页表1及表2,第7页3~5行的记载能够明确地知道,二价铁盐比其他铁盐有显著的、优越的燃料改良效果。

4、如权利要求1所述的燃料改良剂,其中所述铁盐三价铁盐。
5、如权利要求1所述的燃料改良剂,其是通过将所述铁盐的醇溶液添加混合在与燃料有相溶性的溶剂中而形成。
6、如权利要求5所述的燃料改良剂,其中所述铁盐是二价三价铁盐。
7、如权利要求5所述的燃料改良剂,其中所述铁盐是二价铁盐。
8、如权利要求5所述的燃料改良剂,其中所述铁盐是三价铁盐。
9、如权利要求5所述的燃料改良剂,其中所述溶剂是石油类溶剂。
