Description

可熔性塑料构件的连接装置
本发明涉及一种按权利要求1前序部分所述特征的可熔性塑料构件的连接装置,尤其是汽车燃料管道的管或一个这样的带燃料箱的管的连接装置。
从EP-A-0 919 761中已知这类连接装置,它包括一个用来连接两个管端的套筒体。在基本上为空心圆筒的套筒体的内面布置了一个加热元件,该加热元件作为用电阻丝制成的加热线圈构成并可通电流或供入电能。作为加热螺旋丝构成的加热元件的线端可向外引入插口中,并借助于连接线的相应接触元件与焊接装置进行电连接,以便电流供入加热元件并由此加热塑料,实现电焊连接。这类电焊套筒用来连接例如供水管道或供气管道的管已证明是很可靠的,但要求进行电连接的焊接装置操作人员具有实际经验,并还要对焊接过程进行精心的准备和实施。还需要制造这类焊接套筒,尤其是线端在上述插口中的接通需要相当大的费用。为了准备和实施电焊,操作人员必须进行各式各样的人工措施,从而需要大量的时间和安装费用。
尤其是在用一个塑料燃料箱和一根要连接的加油管的汽车工程的燃料箱系统中,连接技术目前采用软管连接管箍或连接点的镜面焊接(Spiegel Schweiβung),就这点来说是有缺点的,因为不可能存在足够的扩散密封性,并在生产过程中需要大量装配,尤其是需要各式各样的零件。各种零件的修理和更换也需要相当大的费用。此外,还存在诸如油泵、软管紧固件、传感器等附加装置在燃料箱内和燃料箱上的定位问题。这就点而言,目前所用的镜面焊接法恰好在燃料箱内部和/或不平的表面是有困难的。还应当指示,由于扩散原因,燃料箱上应当避免一切附加的孔,所以在远距离的和/或难于接近的燃料箱部位的附加装置的定位需要相当大的费用,而且往往没有辅助孔就不可能进行。在附加装置或燃料箱内部的其他部件进行镜面焊接时,通过现存的燃料箱孔即通过燃料箱接管借助于昂贵的伸缩技术把一个加热镜(Heizspiegel)设置到焊接位置,以便在该处熔焊到箱壁上。由于场地有限,这类附加件不可能直接一起带走,所以必须首先取掉焊接镜(Schweiβspiegel),然后以费事的方式把该附加件带到要求的位置。由于良好的焊接需要一个预定的熔化温度和压力,所以实施焊接过程是很困难而又花费大的。
因此,本发明的目的在于,提出一种用简单的方式和很少的费用就能保证构件的功能可靠的焊接装置。该连接的准备和实施只需很少的加工和安装费用和/或焊接的实施应尽可能自动化和/或用自动的生产设备进行。
这个目的是通过权利要求1所述的特征部分来实现的。
本发明装置的特征在于,结构简单并可用很少的费用实现焊接。含有加热元件的构件具有一个固定体,作为电连接用的、特别是该加热元件的面积状布置的两端引到该固定体上,该固定体借助于一个固定工具来固定该构件。与焊接装置连接不需要插口或类似元件,因为通过该固定体和固定工具可实现接通,该固定工具特别做成夹钳状,以便在焊接准备时夹持上述构件,并在焊接过程中通过合适的接触元件保证与该加热元件的电连接。该构件最好做成套筒状并在一个外表面和一个内表面上都含有该加热元件或其一部分,而且放入待相互连接的构件之间的一个环形缝中,待连接的构件一方面作为一个套筒构成,另一方面又作为一个管端构成。在本发明的范围内,这个套筒可以是燃料箱或管道的组成部分,该燃料箱或管道用来容纳或充注汽车的燃料。该套筒在燃料箱孔的范围内作为一个向里缩口的环形的、最好与燃料箱整体连接的区段构成。这种结构的主要优点是,连接技术符合汽车技术的全部要求和规范,特别是明显减少了燃料向周围环境的渗透。这样就以高度的功能可靠性保证了加油管和燃料箱之间的良好的扩散密封性和以纵向力连接的方式实现的连接。
在另一种结构型式中,配有该加热元件的那个构件可用于如油泵、软管紧固件、传感器等附加装置在燃料箱内和燃料箱上的固定和定位。所提出的装置在汽车技术中的主要优点是,上述装置和/或连接符合全部要求和规范,特别是明显减少了燃料向周围环境的渗透。在有一个燃料箱的结构型式中,该燃料箱在燃料箱接管孔的范围内有一个套筒状的构件,该构件作为一个伸入该燃料箱内部的环形区段构成或作为这类套筒构成,即加油用的塑料管在形成一个环形缝的情况下可插入该套筒中,作为焊接套筒构成的构件和该加热元件一起插入该环形缝中。在两根管尤其是汽车的一根燃料管道的连接的结构型式中,一个管端作为套筒构成,要连接的管在形成一个环形缝的情况下插入该套筒中,而作为焊接套筒构成的并具有该加热元件的构件则插入该环形缝中。此外,配有该加热元件的构件可在端面或环形面的范围内设置该加热元件,其中,表面的形状可根据另一个构件的表面形状做成平的、凸起的、凹入的等等。为此,在焊接过程中,在上述构件和该另一构件尤其是一个燃料箱的壁之间用附加的施压工具按需要的方式产生和/或保持压力。
含有该加热元件的构件的固定体最好做成扇形或法兰形,以便上述固定工具可作用其上和与该加热元件建立电接通或电连接。该加热元件的接触元件最好相互这样对置,以便在用该固定工具作用和/或施压和/或固定上述构件时与该加热元件建立电连接。该加热元件最好用金属丝制成和/或做成一个线圈。此外,该加热元件或电导体可设置在上述构件的待焊接的表面并最好用导电材料汽化渗镀而成或作为金属栅网或作为导电的炭素纤维或用导电的塑料或聚合物构成。用该加热元件供给焊接能量可通过电阻加热、用感应或微波技术来实现。在本发明的范围内,不论该加热元件的相应结构和具体形状如何,起决定作用的是,要把电连接和/或金属线端这样引到该固定体上,以便用固定工具尤其是用布置在该固定工具内的接触元件把电连接到焊接装置上,该焊接装置可提供焊接所需的电压和/或所需的电流。
本发明的独特结构和改进可从各项从属权利要求以及下面的说明得知。
下面结合附图所示的一些特别的实施例来详细说明本发明,但本发明不受其限制。附图所示为:
图1是通过一个燃料箱和一根与之用一个焊接套筒连接的加油管剖开的部分纵断面;

图1以纵断面的形式示出了第一构件1、第二构件2和第三构件3,构件3具有一个用来连接第一构件1和第二构件2的加热元件4。第一构件1作为一个套筒构成,该套筒在形成一个容纳该第三构件3的环形缝6的情况下包围该第二构件。第一构件1是一个在这里只部分示出的燃料箱8的组成部分,它伸入该燃料箱的内腔10并在箱孔的范围内作为一个向里缩口的环形段构成。第二构件2是一根在这里也只是部分示出的管12的一部分,该管用来向燃料箱8加油。上述构件1、2和3用一种可熔性的和/或热塑性的塑料,例如特别是用聚乙烯(PE)制成。第二构件2或管12具有一段位于燃料箱8以外的锥形段14,该锥形段构成管12向内腔10的缩口。该第三构件3也在燃料箱以外具有一个凸缘或法兰16,至少在其自由端18的范围内有一个自由空间20。法兰16和/或它的自由端18作为一个用于在这里未示出的固定工具的固定体构成,该固定工具一方面可在自由空间20中固定在该处的内表面22上,另一方面又可固定在固定体16的外表面24上,以使其固定。如图所示,固定体16最好在整个圆周上构成闭合的,但在本发明的范围内,至少它的自由端18也可作为一个只在圆周的一部分延伸的扇形构成。在下面也被称为焊接套筒的第三构件3还具有一个止挡部26,通过该止挡部确保了插入套筒状的第一构件1内的规定深度。由于管段14的圆锥形的或锥形的结构,其中其圆锥角与该法兰或固定体16的圆锥角最好一致,所以就给定了管12插入油管8的确定深度。止挡部26可呈环形并在整个圆周上构成闭合的,但或者也可构成一个或多个径向向外的凸起。
该第三构件即焊接套筒3在环形缝隙6的范围内具有一个加热元件4,该加热元件即布置在焊接套管3的内表面30上又布置在其外表面32上。加热元件4在内表面30和外表面32分别具有一个用导电的金属丝和/或电阻丝制成的内加热螺旋丝34和外加热螺旋丝36,其中,加热螺旋34和36在焊接套筒3的端面38通过金属丝段40相互连接。金属丝段40最好布置在端面38的一个凹槽42中并由此防止了外部的作用。端面38最好具有若干个这类径向延伸的凹槽42,以便在制作由唯一的一根连续的加热金属丝制成的加热元件4时可轻易地把金属丝段40嵌入这些凹槽42之一中。
加热元件4的两端或两个加热螺旋丝34和36的自由端44、46是按本发明引到固定体16和/或它的自由端18的,即引到该内表面和外表面上。金属丝端和/或加热元件4的接触元件44、46相互对置,具有特殊的意义。这些接触元件最好呈平面状布置和/或构成。这样,端部44、46就构成加热元件4的第一平面状和第二平面状布置的接触元件。端部44、46最好在固定体16的整个圆周范围延伸,或呈扇形在一定的圆周角内延伸。由此上述固定工具可以在一定的圆周角内,最好在360°的整个圆周角范围内固定在固定体16上以及由此与加热元件4建立电连接。该固定工具具有与加热元件4的端部或接触元件44、46相对应的其他接触元件,这些接触元件在固定体16固定时可保证上述电连接和加热元件4的接通。
为了准备实施焊接,将第三构件3插入做成套筒状的第一构件1中,并借助止挡部26明确给定了插入深度。然后将第二构件插入第三构件3中,由于锥形段14位于相应的圆锥形法兰或固定体16上,所以也明确地给定了插入深度。另一种办法是,可把第三构件3首先相应套到第二构件2上,然后把第二构件2和第三构件3插入套筒状的第一构件1中。这里应当指出,上述构件的相互对置的面的内直径和外直径是这样相互协调的,即保证了上述构件的相互对置的面的基本上的直接吻合,所以在焊接过程中,所需的压力可在整个圆周和轴向内实现完整的、连续的和密封的电焊连接。
如下面还要详细说明的那样,在本发明的一种独特结构中,例如可从供货箱(Lieferbox)中首先取出固定工具,并用它把上述第三构件即焊接套筒3固定在法兰16和/或它的自由端18上。然后用该固定工具把该第三构件3插入第一构件1中或插入按本发明做成的燃料箱孔中,而后再把具有第二构件2的管12插入第三构件3的内部,其中上述固定工具与固定体16啮合保持不动。此外,与该固定工具电连接的焊接装置以有利的方式设计成能够检查加热元件4的正确接通和/或所需的结构形状,这样就可确定不完善的接通和/或不完善的构件3,并在实施焊接之前更换不完善的第三构件3,所以从功能上可靠地避免了不完善的连接。
下面结合图2至4来详细说明电焊连接的实施。按图2把三个构件1、2、3按上述方式相互放置。焊接套管3在这里具有扇形的固定体16。已准备好的固定工具50具有两块夹钳状的颊板52、53,在上述构件1、2、3插入固定工具50中时,固定体16按图3定位在这两块颊板之间。固定工具50具有至少另一块颊板54、55,它或它们与前述的两块颊板54、55具有预定的距离,该距离基本上相当于构件1、2、3的相应外直径,以便确保相对于固定工具50的限定的取向。按图4这两块上颊板53、55这样向下移动,使固定体16夹在这两块颊板52、53之间,并预先给定一个确定的压力,以保证与焊接套筒3的两个接触元件的可靠接通。如从图2可看出,固定工具50的下颊板52具有另一个接触元件56并相应于上颊板53具有另一个接触元件57,且这两个接触元件56、57通过图中未示出的导线与焊接装置连接。另一种办法是,按附图的后颊板54、55之一还具有一个相应的接触元件,以便与在设置在该处的另一个固定体上布置的一端或加热元件的接触元件建立电连接。
图5表示与图1相似的另一个实施例,但未示出具有第二构件的管。焊接套筒3用夹钳状的固定工具50插入在这里只部分示出的燃料箱8的箱孔中。固定工具50具有两块可相互移动布置的颊板52、54,它位夹住并固定作为环形法兰构成的固定体16。在固定体16的内面可看到内接触元件44或加热元件4的内置的金属丝端。内接触元件44作为至少一圈在整个圆周上做成闭合的线圈构成,用该线圈使固定工具50的另一个接触元件56可靠接通。另一个接触元件56最好在特别是借助一个这里未示出的弹簧成类似构件产生的一个预定预张力的作用下紧贴在内接触元件44上。这里应当指出,具有至少一圈在整个圆周上延伸的线圈的金属丝端同样布置在固定体16的外表面上,所以下颊板52的一个类似布置的接触元件紧贴在外接触元件46上,从而保证了可靠的接通。因此,通过内接触元件和外接触元件的环形的和/或在整个圆周上闭合的结构,在固定工具50的相对于焊接套筒3的任一圆周位置内都保证了可靠的接触。
具有该第二构件的管12按图6插入焊接套筒3的内部。应当指出,固定工具50保持不动并在保持接通的情况下与焊接套筒3的接触元件啮合。通过未示出的焊接装置提供的焊接功率经上述接触元件引入该加热元件中,于是便通过焊接套筒3实现管12与燃料箱8的焊接连接。
下面按图7拆开固定工具50与焊接套筒3的连接。为此,把两块颊板52、54相互这样移开,松开固定体16,便可沿箭头58的方向取下固定工具50。
图8表示取下固定工具50后的情况,且管12用焊接套筒3与燃料箱8进行了密封连接。在这里可清楚看到夹钳状的固定工具50的下颊板52的上述另一个接触元件57。
图9表示另一个实施例的纵断面,此时第一构件1作为第二管60的套管构成。第一管12具有一个不变的直径,且第一构件1的套筒底部62形成一个用于第一管12的插入深度的止挡部。其他方面与上述的说明一致。两根管12、60最好是汽车燃料管道的组成部分,且该燃料管道按上面的说明与一个燃料箱连接。
图10表示具有外加热螺旋丝36和固定体16的外接触元件46的本发明的焊接套筒3。图中还可清楚看出内接触元件44。接触元件44和46具有多个在整个圆周上闭合的线圈,所以在固定工具的任一位置内都保证了功能可靠的接通。图中还可清楚看出止挡部26作为径向向外的凸起构成。应当指出,这样构成的加热元件4最好用一根唯一的连续金属丝制成,该金属丝按图示和说明的方式布置在第三构件3的内表面和外表面上。
图11表示第三构件3的一种独特结构型式,该构件用于诸如油泵、软管紧固件、传感器等附加装置在第一构件尤其是燃料箱内或其上的定位。第三构件3是定位体64的组成部分,此外还配置有法兰状的固定体16。第三构件3在一个端面66上具有加热元件4,该加热元件作为一个用一种导电的加热金属丝或电阻金属丝制成的双线线圈构成。端面66具有一个预定的轮廓,该轮廓与第一构件或燃料箱之类的相应轮廓匹配。如图所示,端面66的表面轮廓可呈平面状或凸起或凹入状或按别的方式与第一构件的相应表面轮廓匹配,定位体64固定并定位在该第一构件上。一个金属丝端被引到固定体16的接触元件44上。
图12表示图11所示构件3的侧视图,其中可清楚看出构件3下方一条横部(Einstrick)内的另一个接触元件46。
图13表示定位体64与一个燃料箱8的示意图,该燃料箱的外轮廓是根据在汽车内的安装条件预先确定的。燃料箱8具有一个箱孔68,定位体64可用一个在这里没有说明的工具或机械手(Handlinggert)70穿过该箱孔插入燃料箱内腔并定位在燃料箱内壁的要求位置。这里应当指出,只有在定位体64按上述方式在燃料箱内壁上定位并实施焊接后,油管或其管端才可在燃料箱孔68的范围内与燃料箱8连通。该工具或机械手70具有夹钳状的固定工具50,该固定工具固定法兰16上并由此固定定位体64。
图14表示图13的细部X的放大图,其中具有两个夹板52、54的固定工具50固定住法兰16。加热元件4的两端44、46引到该固定体或法兰16上并在该处构成接触元件或与该处设置的接触元件特别是通过点焊进行电连接。
另一种办法是,该接触元件或金属丝端可引到定位体64的外表面72上,这时该外表面72构成该固定工具的固定体。在这种结构型式中,与图14比较,固定工具的夹钳状的颊板旋转90°布置并相对于定位体64可沿径向运动和径向装在外表面72上并用预定的预张力压紧,以便一方面固定定位体64和另一方面保证另一个接触元件的所需的接触压力。
具有多个铰接点74至76的工具70按图15部分地引入燃料箱8的内腔中,按图16该工具70更深入地这样引入燃料箱8的内腔中,从而使定位体64位于燃料箱内部的要求位置。借助于工具70可把定位体64的第三构件的端面压到燃料箱在该处的内壁上。应当指出,工具70具有电导线,该导线保证固定体64的加热元件与焊接装置之间的电连接。在通入实施焊接所需的焊接能量后,在保持给定压力的情况下,便可用该工具或机械手70把定位体64可靠地连接在燃料箱18的内壁上。
图17和18表示另一个实施例,此时第三构件3在一个轴向的端面66上具有一个双线线圈形式的环形加热元件4。如上所述,该端面的轮廓是与待连接的第一构件特别是燃料箱的内壁的表面轮廓匹配的。管接头78与第三构件3连接,该管接头作为一个例如燃料箱通风的燃料箱接头构成。如图所示,接触元件和/或加热元件4的端部44、46引到法兰状的第三构件3的外表面。为了固定和产生用于实施焊接的接触压力,固定工具或其夹钳状的颊板被压到表面32上,以便固定并在径向内产生相对于接管78纵轴的接触压力。另一个办法是,可在下方即绘图平面的后面设置一个象上面结合图11说明的法兰状固定体。该燃料箱按图18具有一个孔80,在第三构件3相应定位后,上述接管78通过该孔向外穿出。在进行上述引入之前,用一个在这里未进一步示出的工具或机械手把第三构件3通过上述的第一燃料箱孔68引入燃料箱8的内腔并在第二燃料箱孔80的下方定位以及最后这样在燃料箱内壁的方向内运动,使接管78向外通过第二孔80引出。为了实施焊接,用该机械手把第三构件3这样压到燃料箱8的内壁上,使加热元件4用预定的压力贴合并在供入焊接能量后实现密封的和牢固的连接。

Claims (11)

1.可熔性塑料构件(1、2、3)的连接装置,特别是汽车的一根燃料管道的管(12、60)或一个这样的带燃料箱(8)的管的连接装置,包括一个加热元件(4),通过该加热元件的端部(44、46)可供入电能,其特征为,一个构件(3)具有一个用于固定工具(50)的固定体(16),且加热元件(4)的两端(44、46)引到固定体(16)上并与固定工具(50)的接触元件(56、57)啮合。
2.按权利要求1的装置,其特征为,加热元件(4)的两端(44、46)相互对应布置和/布置或构成平面状和/或与固定体(16)上的平面状的接触元件连接。
3.按权利要求1或2的装置,其特征为,固定体(16)做成法兰形或扇形和/或在相互对置的面(22、24)上具有端部或接触元件(44、46)。
4.按权利要求1至3中任一项的装置,其特征为,该固定工具做成夹钳状和/或具有两个相互运动的颊板(52、54),固定体(16)可在这两块颊板之间夹紧和/或用这两块颊板可与一焊接装置建立电连接。
5.特别是按权利要求1至4中任一项的装置,其特征为,第三构件(3)作为加热元件(4)包括金属栅格、金属线、金属颗粒或金属丝,或一层用导电塑料和/或聚合物制成的层或导体,其中焊接用的能量的供入可用电流或感应或微波技术来实现。
6.按权利要求1至5中任一项的装置,其特征为,包括加热元件(4)的构件(3)作为一个焊接套筒构成,该焊接套筒在一个内表面(30)和外表面(32)上具有该加热元件(4)和/或该加热元件(4)包括至少一个加热螺旋丝(34、36)。
7.特别是按权利要求1至5中任一项的装置,其特征为,燃料箱(8)在燃料箱孔(68)的范围内具有一个缩口环形段形式的第一构件(1)和/或作为一个至少部分地深入内腔(10)的套筒,而加油管(12)的端部则作为第二构件(2)构成并在形成一个环形缝(6)的情况下插入第一构件(1)中,其中作为该焊接套筒构成的第三构件(3)布置在环形缝(6)中。
8.按权利要求1至6中任一项的装置,其特征为,第一构件(1)作为一个第二管(60)的套筒构成,其中该第二构件作为一个与另一个作为焊接套筒构成的构件(3)一起插入套筒(1)中。
9.按权利要求5的装置,其特征为,第三构件(3)作为焊接套筒构成并至少部分地布置在作为套筒构成的第一构件(1)和作为管端构成的第二构件(2)的一个环形缝(6)中和/或固定体(16)作为一个最好呈圆锥形的凸缘或法兰构成,它以一个预定的角度远离固定体(19)延伸。
10.按权利要求6至8中任一项的装置,其特征为,套筒状的第三构件(3)的固定体(16)从作为套筒构成的第一构件(1)中引出并至少部分地呈圆锥形向外敞口。
11.按权利要求1至5中任一项的装置,其特征为,加热元件(4)布置在构件(3)的一个端面(66)上并特别构成定位体(64)的组成部分,或加热元件(4)呈环形布置在构件(3)的一个端面上,特别是布置在如与构件(3)连接的接管(78)相同的一侧。
