Abstract
本发明涉及通过吹塑工艺制备并具有改善的抗静电性能的塑料容器和模制件。此容器或模制件具有一个外壁和一个内壁,且含有沿内壁延伸的导电材料条。本发明还涉及这种容器或模制件的制备方法及其用途。
Description
本发明涉及通过吹塑工艺制备并具有改善的抗静电性能的塑料容器和模制件。
汽车的各种组件和用于特别用途或使用场所的容器都要求在其特殊的使用中具有一定的抗静电性能,以应付可能的爆炸危险。这里,塑料零件和塑料容器与金属零件相比的缺点是,塑料不能传导电流,因此不能消除表面产生的电荷,而这对于具有导电性的金属来说是没有问题的。迄今所有传统的用于改善塑料组件的抗静电性能的措施都伴有其他方面的缺点。
作为添加剂加入塑料中的抗静电剂只与湿气一起在塑料壁的表面上起作用。如果湿气不到达此壁,它们就不发挥作用,并且它们引起由于扩散而进入内部的危险,从而污染内容物。
一种已知的赋予罐装填颈抗静电性的解决方案例如是悬浮在塑料颈中的电线辐条。它连接在罐盖上,因而连接金属体,因此任何产生的电荷都可以消除。这种方法的问题在于,罐装填颈体系中的金属辐条的翻新改进消耗大量的时间,否则其整体上由塑料组成,并由塑料连接的方法装配。
另一种方案是装填颈由高浓度填充导电炭黑的塑料制备。这使得塑料壁本身具有导电性。这里存在的问题是,由于填充程度高,塑料的韧性降低,这反映在装填颈的抗冲强度的减弱。
相应的添加炭黑的材料品牌用于生产抗静电的容器。除抗冲性能降低以外,问题还有材料的相对差的焊接性,导致典型地由吹塑法制备的容器中箍断焊接(pinch-off weld)强度差。这一点同样存在于具有导电内层,且其箍断焊接同样典型地由内层材料形成的共挤出容器中。
特别是在所谓的中间体大容器(IBC),即包括一个内塑料容器和一个外部通常由金属制备的支撑设备,这种容器用于运输和储存液态或粉末状化学物质,抗静电性能通过塑料与金属表面或带有导电材料的外部涂层很近地接触而产生。但是,这里的问题在于生产过程中材料消耗量大和/或附加必要的工序。
因此,本发明的目的是提供可以用一步工序简单且经济地制备,但没有或只很少地降低机械性能的、抗静电性能改善的塑料零件或塑料容器。
这一目标根据本发明是通过前面提到的一般类型的容器和模制件而实现的,其特征被认为是这种容器或模制件具有一个外壁和内壁,且这种容器和模制件含有沿着内壁延伸的导电材料条。
本发明中,合适的导电材料是比体积电阻最大为106ohm·cm(Ω·cm),优选最大为105Ω·cm的材料。这种类型的材料是任意形式的金属,或填充有足够量的金属切屑或金属丝或碳纤维或导电炭黑的本征非导电塑料,或本征导电塑料,例如取代的聚噻吩或类似的含有共轭双键的聚合物。
这种条可以沿着根据本发明的容器或模制件的内壁以各种方式延伸。例如,这种条可以网络状交叉延伸或平行延伸。在所述条平行延伸的情况下,单个条之间最大的间隔不应该超过20mm,优选15mm。在所述条交叉延伸的情况下,最大的共格的非导电的网格面积不应超过100cm2,优选80cm2。根据本发明的由导电材料条覆盖的容器或模制件的内壁的总面积应该为至少10%,优选至少20%,基于内壁的总面积。
根据本发明用于容器和模制件的塑料是通过含有2-10个碳原子的单体聚合得到的聚烯烃。聚合可以通过已知的在高压釜或回路反应器中的气相工艺进行,或在合适的聚合催化剂存在下的淤浆工艺进行。根据本发明用于容器或模制件的塑料优选是聚乙烯,这里对于本发明的目的而言,术语聚乙烯应理解为乙烯的均聚物和乙烯与其它含有3-10个碳原子的烯烃的共聚物。这种聚乙烯可以具有高密度(HDPE),中等密度(MDPE)或低密度(LDPE)和可以为线性(LLDPE)或支化的。
导电材料条在按本发明的容器或模制件的制备过程中,在改进的共挤出工艺中在将塑料熔体从挤出机卸料到吹塑模具的过程中,直接敷到型坯的内壁,与型坯一起吹胀,形成最终的容器或模制件。这里要保证沿挤出方向和在模制件边缘的所述条的位置被控制为,任何可能位置的所述条不穿过箍断焊接点,任何可能位置的所述条不在箍断焊接点相遇。
导电材料条的边缘位置通过一个相应设计的吹塑机的头部/模区域来控制,同时导电材料条沿挤出方向的位置可以通过顺序、间歇地挤出所述条层加以影响。
本发明优选适合于制备需抗静电修饰的容器,例如瓶,罐,鼓,IBC,或工业模制件,例如塑料制成的燃料罐或汽车油箱的装填颈。
按本发明的容器或模制件的优点是,导电材料条不含有任何迁移性添加剂,该条直接通过模塑工艺一步引入容器或模制件,不需再加工,该条几乎不伸入或根本不伸入箍断焊接位置,以致于抗静电修饰不会或只很少地降低了容器或模制件的机械性能。
Claims (10)
1.通过吹塑工艺制备并具有改善的抗静电性能的塑料容器和模制件,其特征在于,此容器或模制件具有一个外壁和一个内壁,且此容器或模制件含有沿内壁延伸的导电材料条。
2.权利要求1的容器或模制件,其特征在于,作为导电材料,它们含有比体积电阻最大为106Ω·cm,优选最大为105Ω·cm的材料。
3.权利要求1或2的容器或模制件,其特征在于,作为导电材料,它们含有金属,或填充有足够量的金属切屑或金属丝或碳纤维或导电炭黑的本征非导电塑料,或本征导电塑料,例如取代的聚噻吩或其它的含有共轭双键的聚合物。
4.权利要求1至3之一的容器或模制件,其特征在于,所述条以网络状交叉延伸或平行排布在容器或模制件的内壁上,其中各个平行条之间最大的间隔20mm,优选最大15mm。
5.权利要求1至4之一的容器或模制件,其特征在于,在所述条交叉延伸的情况下,最大的共格的非导电的网格面积不应超过100cm2,优选80cm2。
6.权利要求1至5之一的容器或模制件,其特征在于,由导电材料条覆盖的容器或模制件的内壁的总面积至少为10%,优选至少20%,基于内壁的总面积。
7.权利要求1至6之一的容器或模制件,其特征在于,应用的塑料是通过含有2-10个碳原子的单体聚合得到的聚烯烃,这里聚合可以通过在高压釜或回路反应器中的气相工艺进行,或通过在合适的聚合催化剂存在下的淤浆工艺进行,优选聚乙烯。
8.权利要求1至7之一的容器或模制件的制备工艺,其中塑料首先在挤出机中熔融,然后以熔融态卸料到吹塑模具中,得到型坯,然后通过压缩空气吹胀,冷却,其特征在于,导电材料条在改进的共挤出工艺中在将塑料熔体从挤出机卸料到吹塑模具的过程中,直接敷到型坯的内壁,并且与型坯一起吹胀,形成最终的容器或模制件。
