本发明提供一种由不粘附压延辊,可用压延加工方法片材成形的聚酯树脂组合物制成的片材。即,本发明提供一种由聚酯树脂组合物构成的片材,对100重量份共聚聚酯树脂包含0.1—2重量份脂肪酸酯润滑剂。其中所述共聚聚酯树脂是由10—40摩尔%环已烷二甲醇取代聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯中的乙二醇成分。
Description
本发明是关于用压延加工法从聚酯树脂组合物成形的片材。详细地说,本发明是关于由不粘着于压延辊且可用生产性高的压延加工法进行片材成形的具有特定组成的聚酯树脂组合物制成的片材。
近年来,作为电子电器和办公用品等的箱子类、食品和医药品等的包装薄膜或片材、能成形容器用盖材和发泡包装用容器、建筑用薄膜或片材等,或者用于可以叠层制作核片材和覆盖片材,装有在内部装配着IC芯片等的微型组件的IC卡及磁条卡、ID卡等卡用片材,聚酯树脂基片材的用途正在扩大。
这些聚酯树脂基片材,过去一般由熔融挤出加工树脂粒料的方法制成。然而,由上述挤出加工的成形方法,片材成形速度慢,生产性不够好而且厚度精确度也不好。
另一方面,对于聚氯乙烯基片材,从过去除挤出加工法成形外,一直由压延加工法成形。在用压延加工法成形时,具有片材成形速度快,而且厚度精密度也优越等优点。
但是,对于聚酯树脂,如果用压延加工法成形片材的话,聚酯树脂由于其本身特性,牢固地附着在压延辊上,事实上不能成形片材。一旦使压延辊温度处于低温时,制品片材表面粗糙度变得严重,事实上也是不可能形成片材的。
本发明目的就是提供不往压延辊上粘附、可由生产性高的压延加工方法成形片材的聚酯树脂组合物形成的片材。
为了达到上述目的进行研究的结果发现,首先在聚酯树脂与压延辊接触时如果有点润滑性的话,就能防止聚酯往压延辊上粘附。
基于此发现,进一步反复研究,就得出以下结论:(1)难于赋予压延辊本身润滑性;(2)因此必须赋予成形片材润滑性;(3)为了使片材本身具有润滑性,事先在聚酯树脂中混入润滑性赋予剂就行。
作为聚酯树脂,聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯是最常用的,但是由于其结晶性压延加工困难。进行各种研究结果发现只有用10-40摩尔%环己烷二甲醇取代聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂中的乙二醇成份而制成的共聚合聚酯树脂是非结晶性的。
另外,对在聚酯树脂中混入的润滑性赋予剂进行专门研究,结果发现脂肪酸酯,润滑剂与聚酯树脂的融合性好,与该树脂混炼操作容易,不损害聚酯树脂片材的成形性,还能良好保持片材的性能和型状(外观、物性等),并且压延加工性优良。
基于以上发现,制成本发明片材的聚酯树脂组合物,对于100重量份共聚合聚酯树脂包含0.1-2重量份的脂肪酸酯润滑剂,对100重量份该共聚合聚酯树脂进一步包含1-20重量份白色颜料。其中所述共聚合聚酯树脂是由10-40摩尔%环己烷二甲醇取代聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂中的乙二醇成份而制成。另外,本发明是关于可由压延加工方法加工前述聚酯树脂组合物制成的片材,是至少一面进行表面粗糙度Ra为0.5-15μm的压纹加工方法加工前述聚酯树脂组合物制成的卡用片材。
以下详细说明本发明。
在本发明中,作为聚酯树脂,使用由10-40摩尔%环己烷二甲醇取代聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂中的乙二醇构成的共聚合聚酯树脂,但当乙二醇成分的置换量小于10摩尔%时,由于结晶性使压延成型时的设定温度范围变窄而且片材变得白色混浊所以不能使用。相反,如果乙二醇成份的取代量大于40摩尔%的话,由于结晶性,压延加工性变得困难就不用说,抗张强度和弯曲弹性系数下降,片材的硬度差因而不能使用。因而,乙二醇成份的取代量必须为10-40摩尔%。优选20-35摩尔%。
作为在上述聚酯树脂中配合使用的脂肪酸酯润滑剂,可列举硬脂酸丁酯、十六烷酸十六酯、硬脂酸单甘油酯、硬脂酸二甘油酸、硬脂酸三甘油酯、褐煤酸的酯、用钙部分皂化的褐煤酸的酯、蜡酯、脂族二羧酸酯等。这些可单独或二种以上混合使用。
脂肪酸酯润滑剂的配合比例如果过于少的话就无配合效果,就不能解决消除聚酯树脂往压延辊上粘附的问题;相反地,如果过多的话,损害片材透明性,或者脂肪酸酯润滑剂往片材表面的敷霜多,作为商品是不希望的。从而,在本发明中,对100重量份该共聚合聚酯树脂,加入0.1-2重量份脂肪酸酯润滑剂,优选加入0.3-1重量份润滑剂。
在本发明中,除脂肪酸酯润滑剂以外,可以配合过去一直配合使用的各种添加剂,例如其他润滑剂、颜料、抗静电剂、光稳定剂、抗氧化剂、无机填充剂、补强剂等。
其中,作为其他润滑剂可以使用脂肪酸类、脂肪酰胺类、脂肪酸二酰胺类、脂肪酸酮类、高级醇类等。作为颜料,可以使用酞菁蓝、酞菁绿、异吲哚满-1-酮类黄色、喹吖酮类红色、紫苏烯类红色等有机颜料、群青、钴蓝、铬氧化物绿、钛白、炭黑、氧化铁红、镉黄、镉红等无机颜料。
作为抗静电剂,可以分别使用阳离子型、阴离子型、非离子型抗静电剂。作为光稳定剂,可分别使用二苯甲酮类、苯并三唑类、位阻胺类、水杨酸酯类等。作为无机填充剂,可以分别使用碳酸钙、氢氧化铝、氢氧化镁、滑石粉、长石、二氧化硅、铝碳酸镁等。
由本发明聚酯树脂组合物制成的片材,各自按规定量配合前述共聚合聚酯树脂和脂肪酸酯润滑剂,以及根据需要各自按规定量配合上述的各种添加剂,混炼调整原料后,用常用压延法制造。或者,以所需配合比例,在该共聚合聚酯树脂中混合规定量的母料进行混炼后,采用与上述相同的压延加工法制造片材。所述母料就是在共聚合聚酯树脂中高浓度配合脂肪酸酯润滑剂、根据需要配合上述各种添加剂。这些片材适于制造真空成形等二次加工性也优良的食品包装、建材等制品。
另外,在把该聚酯树脂组合物加工成片材形状时,在片材的两面或单面实行压纹加工制作压纹片材的时候,当表面粗糙度Ra小于0.5μm情况时,在片材上发生粘结现象,所以制作卡时惹起障碍。相反地,如果超过15μm的话,印刷油墨粘结性、油墨着色成品外观、印刷机械适应性等与印刷有关的适应性降低。因而,表面粗糙度Ra为0.5-15μm,优选1-10μm。在这里不特别限制压纹加工方法,可以使用由砂磨法(サンドマット)和雕刻法加工而成的压纹,或者使预热的片材通过花纹辊与压辊之间的间隙等进行压纹加工。
另外,在使用本发明的片材作为卡用核心材料的情况时,为了付与片材隐蔽性,在该聚酯树脂组合物中加入白色颜料,其加入量对100重量份该共聚聚酯树脂为1-20重量份,优选3-18重量份。当白色颜料小于1重量份时,隐蔽性不够,相反地当大于20重量份时,加工性变差而且片材加工困难。
作为白色颜料,在此不特别限定,但优选氧化钛、硫酸钡、碳酸钙、氢氧化铝、氢氧化镁、滑石粉,铝碳酸镁等无机类化合物。
如果根据本发明的话,能采用过去不能使用的聚酯树脂基片材的压延加工方法制造,而且与过去用挤出加工法片材制造速度比较,在较低温度下,可大幅度提高片材的制造速度。结果,聚酯树脂基片材制造的成本大幅度降低,也可导致制品成本大幅度降低。再与挤出加工法相比较,加工温度低,热历史短,所以由于聚酯树脂的水解而导致的耐冲击性等物性的降低变小。
以下列举实施例和比较例,进一步具体说明本发明,但不限制本发明。<实施例1-7>
按表1所示比例配合各物料作为原料,由通常的压延加工法,在160℃下,用本发明聚酯树脂组合物制造厚0.3mm的片材。所述物料如下:用30摩尔%环己烷二甲醇取代聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂中的乙二醇成分的共聚合聚酯树脂及作为脂肪酸酯润滑剂的硬脂酸单甘油酯、褐煤酸酯或钙部分皂化的褐煤酸酯分别观察在压延加工操作时辊的润滑性及所得由聚酯树脂组合物制成片材的透明性等外观。将这些结果一起列于表1中。

按表2所示比例配合各原料,用与实施例1-7相同的方法制造比较片材。上述原料如下:100重量份如表2所示乙二醇成份取代量不同的共聚聚酯树脂,用在实施例4-5中使用的褐煤酸酯、硬脂酸、钙皂或聚乙烯蜡作为润滑剂。分别观察在与实施例1-7相同压延加工操作时辊的润滑性及透明性等外观。将这些结果一起列于表2中。

作为卡用片材,使用与实施例2,4和6相同原料进行压延加工后,在150℃下预热片材,改变条件,通过压纹辊与压辊之间的间隙施行压纹加工过的片材表面的粗糙度Ra和粘附性及印刷适应性的评价结果一起列于表3。

作为卡用片材的核材料,在实施例4中的聚酯树脂组合物中,按照如表4所示的添加量改变作为白色颜料的氧化钛的量进行配合,制作的片材的隐蔽性和片材加工性的评价结果一起列于表4中。

Claims (12)
1、一种由聚酯树脂组合物构成的片材,其特征在于,100重量份共聚聚酯树脂中配合有0.1-2重量份脂肪酸酯润滑剂,其中所述共聚聚酯树脂是由10-40摩尔%环己烷二甲醇取代聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯中的乙二醇成份得到的。
2、按权利要求中1所述的由聚酯树脂组合物构成的片材,其特征在于,对100重量份前述共聚聚酯树脂,可以进一步配合1-20重量份的白色颜料。
3、按权利要求1中所述的由聚酯树脂组合物构成的片材,其特征在于,是用压延加工方法制成的。
4、按权利要求2中所述的由聚酯树脂组合物构成的片材,其特征在于,是用压延加工方法制成的。
5、按权利要求1中所述的由聚酯树脂组合物构成的片材,其特征在于,用于制作卡。
6、按权利要求2中所述的由聚酯树脂组合物构成的片材,其特征在于,用于制作卡。
7、按权利要求5中所述的由聚酯树脂组合物构成的片材,其特征在于,至少在片材的一面施行粗糙度Ra为0.5-15μm的压纹加工。
8、按权利要求6中所述的由聚酯树脂组合物构成的片材,其特征在于,至少在片材的一面施行粗糙度Ra为0.5-15μm的压纹加工。
9、按权利要求1中所述的由聚酯树脂组合物构成的片材,其特征在于,脂肪酸酯润滑剂可选自硬脂酸丁酯、十六烷基棕榈酸酯、硬脂酸单甘油酯、硬脂酸二甘油酯、硬脂酸三甘油酯、褐煤酸酯、用钙部分皂化的褐煤酸酯及蜡酯。
10、按权利要求2中所述的由聚酯树脂组合物构成的片材,其特征在于,脂肪酸酯润滑剂可选自硬脂酸丁酯、十六烷基棕榈酸酯、硬脂酸单甘油酯、硬脂酸二甘油酯、硬脂酸三甘油酯、褐煤酸酯、用钙部分皂化的褐煤酸酯和蜡酯。
11、按权利要求1中所述的由聚酯树脂组合物构成的片材,其特征在于,脂肪酸酯润滑剂选自硬脂酸单甘油酯、褐煤酸酯和用钙部分皂化的褐煤酸酯。
12、按权利要求2中所述的由聚酯树脂组合物构成的片材,其特征在于,脂肪酸酯润滑剂可选自硬脂酸单甘油酯、褐煤酸酯和用钙部分皂化的二十烷酸酯。
