Description
技术领域
本发明涉及使可热成形的塑料管再成型的方法,这种塑料管的外表面上具有至少一个装饰部分。具体地,本发明涉及多种方法,其中,将外部带装饰的热成形塑料管子真空成形在一其一个表面具有图案的芯棒上,通过将管子加热到一高温,同时施加一不同的流体压力,使在管子外部的优势压力超过内部的压力,迫使加热的管子与芯棒表面上的图案接触,从而形成与该图案相符的形状。
技术背景
用于存放和交付诸如乳剂或膏体等产品的软性塑料管状容器都是往管状坯料中填充而成的,该坯料一端具有一端盖,另一端是开口的以便使管子中充满所要交付的产品。然后将开口端封闭,一般是通过加热和加压方式封闭的。
出于使外观美观的目的,可在光滑的管状表面上形成凹入的图案。为易于抓握容器、尤其是当挤压管子以排出产品时,具有凹凸不平图案的表面的一个管状容器也是需要的。当容器用于挤出碰上去很滑的护肤蜜或护肤霜时,会使管状容器的光滑表面特别难握、例如在产品挤出后重新盖好盖子时,这种图案就特别需要。
管状容器一般具有直接印于其上的识别其内装产品的标记,这就需要光滑的管状表面。目前市场上有带凸起或凹入图案的吹塑塑料管子,而这些管子在图案区域中都不能加以装饰。现有的可用于在印刷图案区域上印刷之后再在管子上形成凹入图案的装置会损坏印在管子上的图象。
美国专利2,913,768揭示了一种方法,藉由其可将具有圆形横截面的已预印刷的管状容器压在一椭圆形芯棒上,不必加热,以形成具有椭圆形横截面的管状容器。但所揭示的方法不能生产具有凸起表面图案的管子。管子的圆周面仍是相同的。
因而需要一种方法,其可在预先印刷的管状容器坯料上形成凹入图案。
发明概述
本发明可以满足这种需求。目前已经发现,可采用真空成形方式将凹入图案施加在预先印刷或其它预先装饰的管状容器坯料表面上,而不会损坏印刷或其它装饰外观。
因而,根据本发明,提供了一种使一空心管子再成形的方法,一种可使具有一圆周壁的空心管再成形的方法,该圆周壁构成所述管子的内部和外部,并且所述管子由至少一层热成形塑料制成,所述壁的外侧具有至少一个装饰部,所述方法包括以下步骤:
将所述管子一侧与一个表面为图案的成形件并置,使所述图案面对所述管子的该侧;以及
将所述管壁加热到一成形高温,在所述温度下,所述塑料能够热成形,将一不同的流体压力施加到所述管子上,使在所述管子背离所述成形件的那侧上的压力超过面对所述成形件的那侧上的压力,从而使所述加热的管壁接触所述成形件表面图案并且形成与所述图案一致的图案。
本发明的较佳实施例采用一芯棒作为成形件,并且通过将芯棒引入管子内部而使管子与芯棒并置。根据本发明的较佳方法通过将成形件表面图案连接到一真空系统上而将不同压力施加到管子上。
本发明的方法可在预印刷管状容器坯料的表面上成形凹陷图案外观。这种外观可被补充或加强管子表面上的印刷图案或其它装饰部,最好使凹陷图案外观与印刷或装饰部分一致。本发明的方法不仅限于凹陷图案外观,而且还可用于在光滑的预印刷或预装饰管状坯料表面上成形凸起图案。本发明的方法也可在管壁原来的圆周表面上产生一变化效果。

发明的较佳实施方式
可执行本发明方法以使预印刷或预装饰的管状容器坯料再成形的装置示出在图1、2A和2B中,其中一一般由热成形塑料预制的管体10放在一成形件或芯棒18上,该管体一端12开口,相对端14上模制有一端盖16。
管体10的外表面22具有预先印刷或者预先粘贴于其上的装饰部分20。芯棒18其表面26上具有一凹陷图案24。另外,该芯棒可由一套筒件(见图5)替代。真空管28将图案24处的芯棒18表面26连接到一真空系统(未示)上。
如图3所示,其顶部带管体10的芯棒18经过加热段30,其中管子被加热到其构成塑料可再成形的温度。同时,从真空管28中抽出一真空,从而对管体10施加一不同的流体压力,这样管子外部上的压力超出管子内部的压力。如图2A和2B所示,压力差可使加热的管壁接触芯棒图案处的芯棒表面,从而将管壁成形为与该图案相符的形状。
其顶部带有管体的芯棒然后经过冷却段32,其时,管体的温度下降,同时继续从真空管28中抽真空以在管体壁上保持不同的流体压力。管体冷却到构成其的塑料不再处于热成形状态的温度。

如图4所示,芯棒18一般具有一圆形或椭圆形横截面,大致与其所应用的管体10横截面相符。芯棒18将管体10支撑在直立位置。通过利用凹陷图案24处表面26上的真空管从管体10内部抽真空,可将不同的压力施加到管壁上。应采用至少50托的压力差,较佳地压力差大于100托。
可预制管体10的适当热成形塑料包括聚乙烯,包括LDPE,LLDPE和HDPE,聚丙烯和类似材料。聚乙烯或聚丙烯可以与另一由聚乙烯、聚丙烯、尼龙、隔层材料共挤压成形为一多层管壁。可将未加工和加工材料制成的层结合起来。较佳的塑料是LDPE和共挤压材料。这些塑料应当在约60℃和180℃之间热成形,较佳地在90℃和120℃之间。因此,本发明的方法较佳地将管体加热到60℃至180℃之间。可采用多种传统装置将管体加热到热成形温度,包括(并不仅限于此)热空气或其它气体、辐射电热、诸如水的热流体等等。管体10已再成形之后,可以将温度冷却到低于60℃而使之不再热成形,较佳地低于40℃。
本发明中采用的管体10较佳地由热成形材料通过在端部14注塑或压缩成型端盖16之后,挤压或吹塑成形。
可采用多种传统装置对管体10的外表面22进行预印刷或预粘贴装饰部20。通过喷涂、滚涂、透印、丝网印刷等方法可将标记印在表面22上。同样地,通过热移印可施加一金属化装饰部,或者一压敏标签或移印图案可叠加到表面22上。热转移标签也可采用。在本发明的一个较佳实施例中,再成形在管子表面22上的凸起图案的位置与装饰部20的位置一致,从而使图案突出或者是与装饰部结合的。
可采用大部分可由一成形件成形在热成形管中的图案。在一个成形件或芯棒上可采用一个以上的图案。多个图案可以是相同的或者不同的。
本发明还包括示出在图5中的方法,其中,成形件是一套筒118,带端盖116的预制管110引入其中。管110具有一预印有装饰部120的外表面122。然后,成形件图案可位于套简118的一内表面126上,可从套筒内部用真空管128抽真空以产生一横贯管壁的压力差,同时对套筒内部施加热量以将管子加热到可发生凸起图案124热成形的温度。
本发明的方法可制造印刷或装饰后的管状塑料体或管子,具有从其预印刷或预装饰管体和管子表面上凸起或凹陷的图案。该方法可克服了印刷或者装饰具有一凸起或凹陷图案的管状表面的难题,并且可使这些图案在已经预印刷或预装饰的管状表面成形。
由本发明所制成的管体是一经印刷或装饰的容器,并具有在化妆品包装等行业中广泛采用的凸起或凹陷表面图案。本发明的方法可采用一般用于光滑表面容器的技术来印刷或装饰具有凸起或凹陷图案的容器。
将可认识到,只要不脱离所附权利要求书所提出的范围,还可以作出多种变型和特征组合。可以认为这些变型都不能脱离本发明的构思和范围,并且所有这些变型都将包含在所附权利要求书的范围内。
工业实用性
本发明可用于生产和装饰流体模塑和其它类形的、用于诸如乳剂、膏体等各种产品的塑料管子。因而,这些产品可制成为具有所需的表面轮廓和图案,并且具有与其一致的印刷广告材料。
Claims (21)
1.一种可使具有一圆周壁的空心管再成形的方法,该圆周壁构成所述管子的内部和外部,并且所述管子由至少一层热成形塑料制成,所述壁的外侧具有至少一个装饰部,所述方法包括以下步骤:
将所述管子一侧与一个表面为图案的成形件并置,并使所述图案面对所述管子的该侧;以及
将所述管壁加热到一成形高温,在所述温度下,所述塑料能够热成形,将一不同的流体压力施加到所述管子上,并使在所述管子背离所述成形件的那侧上的压力超过面对所述成形件的那侧上的压力,从而使所述加热的管壁接触所述成形件表面图案并且形成与所述图案一致的图案。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述成形件包括一芯棒,所述并置步骤包括将所述芯棒引入所述管子的内部。

11.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,还包括在所述管壁已经成形为与所述成形件表面图案一致之后,将所述管子从所述成形件上拆除的步骤。
12.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述管子包括一模塑于其上的端盖。
13.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述热成形塑料可从聚乙烯和聚丙烯中选出。
14.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述管壁包括多个共挤压成形的热成形塑料层。
15.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述装饰部包括一负载信息的标记。
16.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述装饰部是由喷涂、滚涂、透印或丝网印刷方式预先印刷在管子上的。
17.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述装饰部包括一由热移印方式预先施加到所述管子上的金属化装饰部。
18.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述装饰部包括预施到所述管子上的一压敏或传热标签或一标记。
19.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述管壁在其上所述装饰部位处成形为与成形件表面图案一致。
20.一种可使具有一圆周壁的空心管再成形的方法,该圆周壁构成所述管子的内部和外部,并且所述管子由至少一层热成形塑料制成,所述壁的外侧具有至少一个装饰部,所述方法包括以下步骤:
将一表面具有图案的芯棒引入所述管子的所述内部;以及
将所述管壁加热到一成形高温,在所述温度下,所述塑料能够热成形,将一不同的流体压力施加到所述管子上,并使在所述管子背离所述成形件的那侧上的压力超过面对所述成形件的那侧上的压力,从而使所述加热的管壁接触所述芯棒表面图案并且形成与所述图案一致的图案。
21.如权利要求20所述的方法,其特征在于,还包括在所述管壁已经成形为与所述芯棒表面图案形状一致之后,将所述管子冷却到低于塑料热成形温度的步骤。
