Abstract
一种车辆用灯具,其目的是改善车辆用灯具外观,这种车辆用灯具在灯体的内表面进行表面处理,同时,通过熔接来使灯体和透镜相结合。本发明车辆用灯具1,在具有前面开口的凹部3的灯体2上安装透镜8以盖住该前面开口,在由透镜和灯体所围成的灯具空间10内配置电灯泡12;上述灯体在其内表面13上进行表面处理,同时,灯体和透镜由各自形成的熔接脚6、9相互熔接而结合起来,在灯体的熔接脚的内侧形成凹条7作为台阶部。
Description
本发明涉及一种新颖的车辆用灯具。详细地说,涉及一种在车辆用灯具中防止其结合强度降低的技术,这种车辆用灯具在灯体的内表面上进行表面处理、同时通过熔接来使灯体和透镜相结合。
在现有技术中具有在灯体的内表面施加表面处理的同时通过熔接来使灯体和透镜结合的车辆用灯具。
在图5中显示了这样的现有车辆用灯具a。
b是灯体,由热塑性树脂形成。在该灯体b的开口周缘部上形成向前方突出的熔接脚c。
d是透镜,其由热塑性树脂形成,在其周缘部上形成向后方突出的熔接脚e。
以与在上述灯体b上所形成的熔接脚c的宽度相同的宽度来形成该熔接脚e。
接着,把灯体b的熔接脚c与透镜d的熔接脚e进行熔接,而把灯体b和透镜d结合起来。
在灯体b的内表面上进行涂敷或电镀等表面处理f。
因此,当在上述现有的车辆用灯具a中,进行表面处理f时,灯体b的熔接脚c的熔接表面也被进行表面处理,当熔接透镜d的熔接脚e时,存在其结合强度变差的问题。
当把灯体b和透镜d各自的熔接脚c、e的熔接表面突出配合时,会出现两者的位置稍稍偏移的现象,在此情况下,就会出现熔接面积变小、两者的结合强度降低的问题。
因此,本发明的目的就在于在灯体的内表面上施加表面处理的同时通过熔接来使灯体和透镜相结合的车辆用灯具中,防止结合强度的降低。
为了解决上述问题,本发明的车辆用灯具,把分别形成在灯体和透镜上的熔接脚相互熔接起来而进行结合,在灯体的熔接脚的内侧形成台阶部。
这样,在本发明的车辆用灯具中,在利用台阶部使掩蔽夹具定位的状态下进行表面处理,由此,就不会在灯体的熔接脚上进行表面处理,从而可以防止在熔接灯体与透镜时结合强度的降低。
另一种本发明的车辆用灯具,使灯体的熔接脚的宽度与透镜的熔接脚的宽度不同。
这样,在该本发明的车辆用灯具中,即使在灯体与透镜稍稍产生位置偏差的状态下进行熔接,也能不减小熔接表面而防止两者结合强度的降低。
图1是与图2和图3一起表示本发明的车辆用灯具的实施例的图,是整体纵断侧面图;
图2是主要部分的放大截面图;
图3是表示本发明的车辆用灯具的效果的主要部分的放大截面图;
图4是表示本发明的车辆用灯具的另一个实施例的主要部分放大截面图;
图5是表示现有车辆用灯具的一个例子的主要部分放大截面图。
下面参照附图来说明本发明的车辆用灯具的实施例。而且,图示的实施例为本发明适用于汽车用标志灯的实施例。
1是汽车用标志灯,包括灯体、盖住该灯体的前面开口的透镜、配置在由灯体和透镜所围成的灯具空间内的光源。
灯体2由热塑性树脂形成,具有向着前方开口的凹部3。在灯体2的后部中央形成电灯泡安装孔4,而且,在凹部3的开口缘部上形成向外突出的安装缘部5。
在上述安装缘部5的外周缘部上形成稍稍向前方突出的熔接脚6,而且,在安装缘部5内,在与熔接脚6离开1mm以上的内侧的位置上,即,在靠近电灯泡安装孔4的位置上,作为台阶部在全周上连续形成凹条7。而且,凹条7相对于形成它的凹部3的内表面而成为“凹”。
透镜8由透明的热塑性树脂形成,在其周缘部形成向后方突出的熔接脚9。
在灯体2上所形成的熔接脚6的宽度W1大于形成在透镜8上的熔接脚9的宽度W2(参照图2)。而且,透镜8侧的熔接脚9的宽度W2与上述现有的相同,而灯体2侧的熔接脚6的宽度W1较大。
由此,当把透镜8的熔接脚9的熔接表面突出配合在灯体2的熔接脚6的熔接表面上时,即使在其位置稍稍偏移的状态下,透镜8侧的熔接脚9也不会从灯体2侧的熔接脚6露出,这样,当熔接两者时,至少透镜8侧的熔接脚9的整个表面被进行熔接。
透镜8通过热板熔接法、超声波熔接法等所进行的熔接与灯体2相结合。即,灯体2的熔接脚6的顶端与透镜8的熔接脚9的顶端一起熔融,各自熔融的部分被压接起来,然后该熔融部分进行冷却固化,透镜8盖住灯体2的凹部3的前面并结合在灯体2上。接着,通过使透镜8和灯体2相结合,而形成由该两者围成的灯具空间10。
接着,在上述灯具空间10内配置光源。即,把作为光源的电灯泡12装卸自如地支撑在灯座11中。该灯座11装卸自如地安装在灯体2的电灯泡安装孔4中。
上述灯体2在其内表面即凹部3的表面13上进行表面处理,例如反射涂装、反射层的蒸镀形成等。当进行这样的表面处理时,由上述凹条7实现掩蔽夹具的定位。
即,如图2所示的那样,把掩蔽夹具14的端缘嵌合在凹条7内来进行其定位。这样,通过进行掩蔽夹具14的定位,就能正确地决定掩蔽夹具14的位置,而且,其位置不会在表面处理中移动。
另外,即使上述凹条7不是连续设置在全周上,而是在全周上部分地设置,也可以通过在掩蔽夹具14上予先形成与该凹条相嵌合的突部,实现该定位目的,但是,如上述实施例所示的那样,通过在全周上连续地形成凹条,就能确实地防止涂料通过掩蔽夹具14的端缘与灯体2的安装缘部5前面的狭窄间隙流入到应进行遮蔽的部分中,就能使表面处理与非表面处理之间的界限变得明显,能够进一步使其外观美观。
如图3所示的那样,在熔接脚6、9相互熔接过程中,相互熔融的部分会向侧方溢出,产生所谓熔渣15,但,该熔渣15不会进入到上述凹条7中、并因而侵入内侧的进行了表面处理的部分,这一点也会使外观更加美观。
图4表示本发明的车辆用标志灯的另一个实施例。在该实施例中,由于仅台阶部与上述实施例不同,所以仅对该不同部分进行说明,而省略对其他部分的说明。
在灯体2的安装缘部5中,从熔接脚6在内侧的部分即靠近电灯泡安装孔4的部分在全周上形成连续的突条16,作为台阶部。而且,突条16相对于形成它的凹部3的内表面为“突起”。
这样,通过把掩蔽夹具14的端缘紧靠在该突条16上,就能正确地决定该掩蔽夹具14的位置,就能使进行表面处理的部分与其他部分之间的界限变得明显起来。而且,熔渣15不会越过突条16而流到内侧部分中。
而且,即使在另一个实施例中,突条16不是连续地形成在全周上,也能充分地起到掩蔽夹具的定位部的作用。
如从上述描述中所看到的那样,本发明车辆用灯具,在具有前面开口的凹部的灯体上安装透镜以盖住该前面开口,在由透镜和灯体所围成的灯具空间内配置光源,上述灯体对其内表面进行表面处理,把灯体和透镜分别形成的熔接脚相互熔接结合起来,在灯体的熔接脚的内侧形成台阶部。
因此,在本发明的车辆用灯具中,通过在由台阶部决定掩蔽夹具位置的状态下进行表面处理,可以不对灯体的熔接脚进行表面处理,防止熔接灯体和透镜时结合强度的降低。
在本发明的另一方面,使台阶部连续形成在全周上,由此,掩蔽夹具的定位更稳定。
另外,在本发明中,台阶部是凹条或突条,因此,掩蔽夹具的定位稳定,同时,由凹条或突条防止了所谓熔渣向进行表面处理的部分溢出。
在另一种本发明的车辆用灯具中,使灯体的熔接脚的宽度与透镜的熔接脚的宽度不同。
这样,在本发明的车辆用灯具中,即使灯体和透镜在稍稍产生偏移的状态下进行熔接,熔接表面也不会变小,也能防止两者的结构强度降低。
而且,在本发明中,由于使在灯体上的熔接脚的宽度大于形成在透镜上的熔接脚的宽度,所以不必使透镜侧的熔接脚大于现有技术,就不会使外观变差。
另外,在上述各实施例中表示的各部分的形状和结构,都仅是实施本发明时的具体化的一个例子,并不由它们限定性地解释本发明的技术范围。
Claims (5)
1.一种车辆用灯具,在具有前面开口的凹部的灯体上安装透镜,以盖住该前面开口,在由透镜和灯体所围成的灯具空间内配置光源,其特征在于,
所述灯体具有经过表面处理的内表面,
灯体和透镜由各自形成的熔接脚相熔接、结合,
灯体的熔接脚的内侧形成有台阶部。
2.根据权利要求1所述的车辆用灯具,其特征在于,所述台阶部连续形成在全周上。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的车辆用灯具,其特征在于,所述台阶部是凹部或突部。
4.一种车辆用灯具,其特征在于,形成在所述灯体上的熔接脚的宽度与形成在所述透镜上的熔接脚的宽度不同。
5.根据权利要求4所述的车辆用灯具,其特征在于,使在所述灯体上形成的熔接脚的宽度大于形成在所述透镜上的熔接脚的宽度。
