Abstract

Description

用于加强橡胶制品的钢丝绳
本发明涉及一种用于加强橡胶制品尤其是充气轮胎的钢丝绳,该钢丝绳包括至少三根围绕一根连续芯线排列的钢丝。
已知这类钢丝绳,更具体地说,它们用于加强充气轮胎,例如汽车和卡车的轮胎。已知这样的钢丝绳作为带状钢索镶嵌件嵌入到轮胎中。
当在货车和卡车轮胎中应用这样的钢丝绳时,镶嵌件或加强件要比应用在轿车轮胎中时承受较高的应力,这就是为什么对加强卡车轮胎的钢丝绳要求更高的原因。因此,当将生产成本较低,结构简单例如用于轿车轮胎的钢丝绳用在货车和卡车轮胎中时,很容易产生带边缘的脱离。
例如,这样简单构造的钢丝绳包括由三根直径为0.2mm的钢丝组成的一根芯线和围绕这个芯线绞合的6根0.35mm直径的钢丝。生产这样的钢丝绳比较简单,一般在生产过程中也不会产生什么问题。但是如上所述,由于它的刚性在轮胎中很容易产生带边缘的脱离,使轮胎报废。
当钢丝绳生产成本提高,应用更多的钢丝股时能显著地减小带边缘脱离的风险(例如钢丝绳有三根钢丝的芯线,该芯线被9根钢丝包绕,外面有15根每根直径为0.22mm的钢丝的包复层。以及一根直径为0.15mm的围绕这个结构的螺旋钢丝)。但是在这样有较高钢丝数的情况下,由于各个钢丝互相之间的相对几何配置,会自动出现内部空腔,从而不再可能让灌封的橡胶穿透到其中,所以灌封橡胶的粘接仍然限于外壳部分。除此之外,包在里面的空气中所含的水份从内部对钢丝有腐蚀作用,使钢丝过早老化和损坏。
从专利DE 26 48 524A1中知道的是一种钢丝绳,它是用于加强橡胶制品的一种介质,其结构是三根或多根实心金属丝围绕一根非金属可压缩材料的连续芯线绞合在一起。更具体地说,这种非金属可压缩的材料是一种可硫化的橡胶,热塑塑料,芳香族聚酰胺或天然的或人造的纤维材料。通过应用这样的非金属可压缩材料作为钢丝绳的芯线,在钢丝绳中另外存在的空间实际上或大体上被充满,因此就消除了各个外层钢丝在侧向压力作用下所产生的位移。在将钢丝绳嵌入到轮胎中时,通过弹性体或纺织线使钢丝围绕芯线聚集在一起,以这种方式达到充满钢丝绳中的空间,从而使各钢丝能够互相接近并使芯线轻微变形。
从专利DE-PS 816 308中知道的是一种用于橡胶制品的嵌入件,它的钢丝绳包括一根未硫化或预硫化的橡胶芯线,其中各钢丝相互隔开设置。由于这些橡胶芯线,使钢丝绳具有高度的弹性形变,所以钢丝绳的特性是有较高的柔软性。
从专利DE-OS 2 209 752中知道的是作为传送带中加强嵌入件的钢丝绳,包括例如围绕一根弹性体芯线绞合的各钢丝。
相对于上述,本发明基于下述目的,提供一种上述类型的钢丝绳,它结构简单从而生产成本较低,另一方面又保证良好的锚固作用和在要加强的橡胶制品中钢丝绳边缘的合适位置,并减少钢丝绳内部腐蚀的风险。
为了达到这个目的,按照本发明设置的用于加强橡胶制品,更具体地说是充气轮胎的钢丝绳包括至少三根钢丝围绕一根连续的芯线绞合,芯线是由非金属材料组成,在要加强的橡胶制品硫化时芯线能在纵向方向收缩。按照本发明构造的这样钢丝绳在硫化时,组成钢丝绳芯的芯线产生纵向收缩,即芯线在钢丝绳的纵向方向上收缩,其结果是芯线从钢丝绳的切割边缘处缩回,从而周围芯线的各钢丝形成一空穴。在硫化期间橡胶混合料就能穿过进入到这个空穴,其结果保证了钢丝绳在要加强的橡胶制品中特别优良的锚固作用。
在本发明的一个有利方面,芯线是由未拉伸的脂肪族聚酰胺最好是未拉伸的尼龙组成。未拉伸的聚酰胺,特别是未拉伸的尼龙有如下优点,当要加强的橡胶制品硫化时,它不仅在纵向收缩,而且在收缩过程中脂肪族聚酰胺的直径同时增加。由于直径的增加,聚酰胺穿透进入到围绕芯线的各钢丝之间存在的空穴中并大体上充满各空穴。当用未拉伸的脂肪族聚酰胺,特别是未拉伸的尼龙作为芯线时,按照本发明的钢丝绳,在一方面提供如下优点,由于橡胶混合料能穿透进入因聚酰胺芯线收缩在钢丝绳终端所形成的空穴中,将钢丝绳的切割边缘较好地定位在要加强的橡胶制品中,另一方面按照本发明的钢丝绳还提供这样的优点,收缩的聚酰胺芯线缩回到钢丝绳的内部,在那里它充满各个钢丝之间的空穴,从而避免各钢丝从钢丝绳内部的腐蚀。
本发明现在将通过一示范的实施方案参考附图进行描述,其中:

现在参考图1,图中显示按照本发明用于加强橡胶制品特别是充气轮胎的钢丝绳1的示意横剖面图。按照本发明的钢丝绳1包括一根芯线3,围绕它平行对称绞合6根钢丝2。在所示的实例中钢丝2和芯线3两者有同样的直径。
可以按钢丝绳将来打算的应用,即依照要加强轮胎的类型和尺寸选择钢丝2和芯线3的直径。在图示的示范实施方案中,直径可以是0.35mm,但是也可以是其他的直径。当然,将很容易理解,也可以应用那样的钢丝绳,它的钢丝2和芯线3的直径是不同的。
由于钢丝2和芯线3的横截面是圆形的,在每两根相邻的钢丝2和芯线3之间形成空穴4。
按照本发明如图1所示的钢丝绳1的芯线3是由非金属材料制成,它在要加强的橡胶制品硫化时能够纵向收缩。应用这个特性来在要加强的橡胶制品,具体地说在充气轮胎中产生钢丝绳的牢固的锚固。为了这个目的,图示的钢丝绳1—在压迫和切割成带形线网层之后—加工成一种所谓生胎,随后对生胎硫化。在硫化时芯线3纵向收缩,即它沿钢丝绳1的纵轴方向朝它的中心线收缩(参看图3),结果在钢丝绳1的切割边缘6处形成空穴,硫化的混合料可以穿透进入到空穴中,这样就得到钢丝绳,更具体地说是它的钢丝2与要加强橡胶制品的啮合。
现在参考图2,图中显示按照本发明如图1所示的钢丝绳1在硫化之后的横剖面图。由于它的收缩,芯线3不仅在长度上改变,同时它的直径也增加。这造成芯线3扩张到如上所述的空穴4中,实际将它们充满。从图2中很清楚看到,由钢丝2圆形排列所包围的空间实际上完全被芯线3的非金属材料所充满,从而那里基本上不再存在空穴。
由于按照本发明由钢丝包围的空间完全被充满,极大地减小了因包住的潮气从内部腐蚀钢丝绳的危险。
现在参考图3,图中示意显示按照本发明如图2显示的钢丝绳,在硫化之后沿剖面线III-III所看到的纵向剖面图。图3显示按照本发明的钢丝绳1在灌封状态下位于要加强的橡胶制品5中。橡胶制品5为了看得更清楚没有在图2中示出,而是以剖面形式显示在图3中。在这种情况下要加强的橡胶制品是一种充气轮胎。
正如从图3的纵向剖面图中很清楚看到,被钢丝2包围的芯线3在硫化期间收缩,使得在钢丝2之间的切割边缘6区域中形成空穴,要加强的橡胶制品5的橡胶混合料已经穿透进入到空穴中。
由于按照本发明的这样穿透,达到钢丝绳,更具体地说是钢丝2和要加强的橡胶制品5在切割边缘区6的啮合,从而形成特别良好的灌封和钢丝绳1在要加强的橡胶制品5中的连接。
按照本发明,达到了钢丝绳边缘6在要加强的橡胶制品5中的良好定位,并同时减少了腐蚀的危险。
作为芯线3的非金属材料,未拉伸的脂肪族聚酰胺,更具体地说是未拉伸的尼龙特别合适。在硫化这样未拉伸的尼龙制成的芯线3时,芯线收缩约5-7%,其结果是在钢丝绳1的切割边缘6处形成足够大的空穴,橡胶混合料可以穿透进入到空穴中,在那里能够与钢丝2的黄铜表面产生牢固的结合。

Claims (5)

1.一种用于加强橡胶制品,更具体地说是充气轮胎的钢丝绳,包括至少三根围绕一根连续芯线(3)绞合的钢丝(2),其特征在于该芯线(3)是由非金属材料组成,在该要加强的橡胶制品(5)硫化时,该材料能纵向收缩。
2.按照权利要求1所述的钢丝绳,其特征在于该芯线(3)由未拉伸的脂肪族聚酰胺组成。
3.按照权利要求2所述的钢丝绳,其特征在于该芯线(3)由未拉伸的尼龙组成。
4.按照权利要求1至3中任何一项所述的钢丝绳,其特征在于所述钢丝(2)有相同的直径。
5.按照权利要求1至4中任何一项所述的钢丝绳,其特征在于该钢丝(2)和该芯线(3)在要加强的橡胶制品(5)硫化之前有相同的直径。
