Abstract

管接头具有:一连接体16,连接体有一个作为流体通道的轴向通孔12;一拧在连接体上的螺母22,从而使管20连接到连接体上;和一个通过一个环形阶梯面24顶住连接体中一个孔的底部26的套管28,套管有一个按规定角度倾斜的鼓突部位32。螺母有一个径向内压管件40,当螺母逐渐拧到连接体上时,管压件弯曲,并弯成和鼓突部位构成互补形状,从而在趋于使管压件恢复到其原状的弹力作用下,使管20的端部压住套管28。

Description

管接头
本发明涉及一种用于将一根管子密封连接到一流体压力装置上的管接头。
在日本实用新型公开NO.720471中公开的一个普通的合成树脂管接头,例如,示于图5。
如图5所示,通常用参考数字1表示的已知的合成树脂管接头有一个圆柱形连接体2和一个插在圆柱形连接体2界定的孔内、并紧固在管3一端的内环4。圆柱形连接体2有一个外螺纹端5,内环4就插在这个外螺纹端中。推压环7有一个内螺纹端6,它拧套在外螺纹端5上。管3轴向穿过推压环7,并被推压环7轴向啮合。
内环4有一个内端,它顶住圆柱形连接体2的孔的内端,从而形成一个密封区8。密封区8被内环4压实,内环4被管3向内轴向推压,管3被推压环7轴向压实,这样就使圆柱形连接体2和管3中的管路形成很好的密封,以防止泄漏。
每一个外螺纹端5和内螺纹端6都有三角形横截面的小螺纹齿,外螺纹端5和内螺纹端6互相啮合,以便将推压环7保持在圆柱形连接体2上。当由管3内流过的流体加热时,圆柱形连接体2上的推压环7趋向于松开,进而破坏圆柱形连接体2和管3之间的密封。为此,本技术领域中就有一个提高合成树脂管接头2的密封性的要求。
本发明的总的目的就是提供一个能提高密封能力的管接头。
本发明主要的目的就是提供一个管接头,它的结构能防止其上的螺母不适当地松开。
本发明另外的目的是提供一个管接头,它甚至在受到流过管接头的流体加热时也能防止螺母不适当地松开,从而保有一个希望的密封性能,使管接头不致有漏泄。
通过下述说明并参阅附图可以更明显地了解到本发明的上述的以及另外的目的、特性和优点。附图示出了通过示例说明的本发明的最佳实施方案。
对附图简单说明如下:
图1为根据本发明的管接头的纵向截面图;

图3为根据本发明的管接头的放大了的部分截面图;
图4为一环的透视图,其部分切去,该环可用作图2所示的弹簧;以及
图5为常规的管接头的纵向截面图。
根据本发明的管接头10,如图1所示,包括一个圆柱形连接体16和一个螺母22。圆柱形连接体16有一个作为流体管路的轴向界定的穿孔12,以及第一和第二有外螺纹的相对的端14a,14b。螺母22有一个拧在第一外螺纹端14a上的、并紧固在管20一端上的一个有内螺纹的端18,由此将管20保持在圆柱形连接体16上。第一个外螺纹端14a在其外圆周面上有梯形横断面螺纹齿,内螺纹端18在其内圆周面上有梯形横断面的螺纹槽。
圆柱形连接体16有一个孔,该孔由一个环形内阶梯面24限定,该阶梯面位于第一个外螺纹端14a的径向内部并向其一个内端轴向逐渐收缩。套管28插入孔内,并有一个内端顶住孔的底部26。套管28有一个削尖横截面的外部削尖的端30,一个从削尖端30轴向向内延伸,并以规定角度从削尖端30向外径向倾斜的鼓突部位32,以及一个从鼓突部位32向内轴向延伸并从套管28的内端向外径向凸出的环形法兰盘34。
螺母22包括一个内螺纹端18的圆柱形构件36和一个径向内环形管压件40。该管压件40从螺母22对着内螺纹端18的一端向着内螺纹端18延伸,并沿着削尖端30和鼓突部位32柔性地径向外弯)(沿箭头A所示方向)。环形管压件40在弹力作用下压住管20,使其径向向内顶住鼓突部位32。圆柱形构件36和管压件40形成一个整体结构。管压件40内有一个轴向孔42,管20可以插进去。管压件40还有一个环形齿43(也参见图3),该齿径向向内伸到孔42内。
管压件40还包括一个从其一个内壁端径向外凸的环形凸脊45(同样参阅图3)。环形凸脊45顶住并向外径向压住圆柱形构件36的内圆周面。
在圆柱形构件36和管压件40之间界定了一个环状空间44。环形空间44放有一个环状螺旋弹簧(弹性构件)38(同样参阅图2)。螺旋弹簧38包括一个螺旋形缠绕的丝状元件,例如,由不锈钢丝制成。
每一个圆柱形连接体16、螺母22、套管28以及管20都是用合成树脂,例如,聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)制成。
上述结构的管接头10按如下方式操作,并具有下述优点:
套管28的削尖端30和鼓突部位32插入管20的端部。套管28挤入管20的端部,直到法兰盘34的轴向端部顶住管20的端部。套管28挤入管20的端部以后,管20的端部即径向向外扩大,和削尖端30以及鼓突部位20构成一种互补形状,进而支住管20内圆周面和套管28的外圆周面,使它们密封在一起。然后,将套管28已经挤入的管20的端部再插入由环形内阶梯面24界定的圆柱形连接体16中的孔内,直到对面的法兰盘34的轴向端顶住圆柱形连接体16的孔的底部26。
将已经松套在管20上的螺母22的内螺纹端18拧在第一个外螺纹端14a上,然后再拧紧螺母22,将管20密封地连接到圆柱形连接体16上。
具体说,当螺母22拧紧在圆柱形连接体16的端部时,管压件40被管20径向扩大端压弯,沿着箭头A所示方向径向向外弯曲。管20在趋于使管压件40恢复到其原来形状的力F1(见图3)的作用下,压住套管28。当管压件40沿着箭头A所示方向径向向外弯曲时,它就压住环形空间44内的弹簧38。弹簧38然后又产生一个弹性反作用力F2(见图3),使管压件40压向套管28。弹簧38产生的反作用力F2又产生一个力F3(见图3),使环形齿43将管20压向套管28的削尖端30。
换句话说,趋于使管压件40将管20基本径向向内压住套管28的作用力F1,F3是由弹簧38使管压件40压住管20的弹性反作用力F2所支撑的,并等于管压件40的弹力和弹簧38的弹性反作用力F2的总和。
当螺母22继续拧紧在圆柱形连接体16的端部时,圆柱形连接体16的端部就会产生一个力F4(见图3),趋于使管20压住套管28。
当力F1、F2、F3、F4起作用,从而径向向内压住管20的套管28时,力F5(见图3)产生用,使套管28的法兰盘34轴向顶住由圆柱形连接体16的环形内阶梯面24所界定的孔的底部26。
依据本发明的管接头10能使管20和圆柱形连接体16之间的连接有效地密封,从而比普通的管接头更有效地防止管接头10和管20内的流体漏出。
与普通的管接头的三角形横截面的螺纹齿和槽不同的是,第一个外螺纹端14a的螺纹齿具有梯形横截面形状,内螺纹端18的螺纹槽也具有梯形横截面形状。向外径向顶住圆柱形构件36的内圆周面的管压件40的环状凸脊45使一个力F6(见图3)作用于第一个外螺纹端14a的螺纹齿和内螺纹端18的螺纹槽上,以增加的强度使第一个外螺纹端14a和内螺纹端18牢固地啮合在一起。因此,即使受在管接头10和管20内流过的流体的加热时,螺母22也能可靠地避免松开。
环形螺旋弹簧38也可以用金属或合成树脂做的空心环48(见图4)代替。这种空心环48在其外圆周壁上有沿着外圆周壁延伸的环形槽46。弹簧38或环48可以根据需要安装。
虽然本发明的某些最佳实施方案已经展示并有详细介绍,但是,只要不超出所附权利要求的范围,应该认为可以有各种各样的更改和修改。

Claims (9)

1.一种管接头,它包括:
一个连接体(16),有一个作为流体通道的轴向限定的通孔(12),并至少有一个螺纹端(14a,14b),所述的连接体(16)包括一个环形阶梯面(24);
一个螺母(22),套在所述的连接体(16)的至少一个螺纹端(14a,14b)上,并拧在管(20)的一端,从而将管(20)的一端连接到所述的连接体(16)上;以及
一个顶住所述的环形阶梯面(24)、并有
一个以预定角度倾斜的鼓突部位(32)的套管(28);
所述螺母(22)有一个径向内管压件(40),当所述螺母(22)逐渐拧到所述连接体(16)的至少一个螺纹端(14a,14b)上时,径向内管压件(40)弯曲,并弯成和所述鼓突部位(32)构成互补形状,以便在趋于使所述的径向内管压件(40)恢复到其原状的弹力的作用下,使管(20)的端部压住所述的套管(28)。
2.按照权利要求1的一个管接头,其中所述的螺母(22)内有一个环状空间(44),还包括一个弹力构件,该构件位于所述环状空间(44)内,用于响应于所述管压件(40)的挤压而产生一个反作用力,以便将所述的管压件(40)压向所述的套管(28)。
3.按照权利要求2的一个管接头,其中所述弹力构件包括一个环状螺旋弹簧(38)。
4.按照权利要求2的一个管接头,其中所述弹力构件包括一个由金属或合成树脂做成的环(48)。
5.按照权利要求4的一个管接头,其中所述的环(48)有一个在其圆周壁上并沿其沿伸的环形槽(48)。
6.按照权利要求1的一个管接头,其中所述的螺母(22)有一个螺纹端(18)。该螺纹端(18)拧在所述至少一个螺纹端(14a,14b)上,所述螺纹端(14a,14b,18)具有梯形横截面的螺纹齿和槽。
7.按照权利要求1的一个管接头,其中所述的管压件(40)和所述螺母(22)形成一个整体。
8.按照权利要求7的一个管接头,其中所述的套管(28)有一个削尖端(30),所述鼓突部位(32)即从该削尖端(30)伸出,所述管压件(40)有一个环形齿(43),当所述螺母(22)逐渐拧在所述连接体(16)的至少一个螺纹端(14a,14b)上时,环形齿(43)使所述管(20)压住所述削尖端(30)。
9.按照权利要求7的一个管接头,其中所述的螺母(22)有一个圆柱形构件(36),所述管压件(40)有一个从一端凸出的环状凸脊(45),当所述螺母(22)逐渐拧在所述连接体(16)的至少一个螺纹端(14a,14b)上时,该环状凸脊(45)将所述圆柱形构件(36)向外径向压。
