Abstract

本发明涉及一种用于内燃机燃料喷射系统的电磁控制的燃料喷射器。
背景技术
传统的燃料喷射器由动力组和阀组组成。动力组包括燃料引入管/孔,磁线圈和腔体。腔体的主要作用是用作线圈的磁通的返回通路。然而,腔体另外的功能包括:即使在压力/装配力的作用下也保持喷射器形状;通过例如卷边安装在象引入管和阀体这样的元件上而在它们之间形成一结构桥;将引入管对准衔铁表面;提供通电线圈端通路,尤其是在腔体中以两个圆孔的形式,通过该圆孔相应的线端从线圈通到外面的电连接器上;以及为O型密封环形成一密封面。这就导致一相当复杂的具有高精度公差的腔体形状,基本上限定了腔体由厚的机加工固体金属或粉末金属制造。
要减小发动机室的尺寸就迫使其元件尺寸变小,一个减小的尺寸是喷射器外径。小外径喷射器仍需保持同样的引入管外径(为了使用密封油路套筒的标准尺寸O形环),这就使得难于形成一个单个的通过常用的腔体壁的标准接电端通路。
此外,传统的腔体壁厚通常大于2mm,当力求减小外径的同时若保持这一厚度会导致性能的减退,因为线圈室必须减小。
用于动力组元件对准和安装的新的结构设计,以及不同的气密密封设计导致放宽对腔体的要求。通过应用腔体的板或框架已利用最小腔体设计要求的设计,虽然成本低且便于制造,但限制了磁通通道所需的截面积;仍提出对结构/安装力偏差要求;因为板或框架并不能覆盖整个360度,它们必须较厚,于是导致喷射器外径最小限度的减小。另外,在对于密封线圈和腔体的密封期间,动力组结构一体化会因为这些元件暴露在喷射的密封材料的压力下而移动。
其它的设计包括加工用于腔体的1至1.5mm厚的板材。这有助于在密封期间减小元件的移动,但伴随着这样的缺点,即,因为线端通路几何形状的要求需要两个分别的通路。这就需要两个附加元件和一个焊接成钎焊接点。
本发明涉及一种用于喷射器动力组件的、低成本、薄壁壳体以及实现这一形状的多种生产方法。这就导致喷射器外径的减小,减少了元件在高密封压力下的暴露,因而减小了由密封操作引起的元件移动,并具有通向接电端翼片通路的几何形状。
许多特点、优点及发明点将在随后的说明书和权利要求书及其附图中描述。附图披露了实现本发明的目前按照最佳模式设计的优选的典型实施例。

实施例
图1表示一个典型的包括许多部件的燃料喷射器10,该喷射器包括燃料引入管12,调节管14,过滤器组件16、线圈组件18,螺旋弹簧20,衔铁22,针阀24,非磁性壳体26,阀体壳体28,阀体30,塑性壳体32,线圈组腔体34,非金属盖36,针导向件38,阀座40,薄盘孔件41,支撑保持件42,小O型密封圈43,以及大O型密封圈44。
针导向件38、阀座40、薄盘孔件41,支撑保持件42和小O型密封圈43形成一叠,设置在燃料喷射器10的喷嘴端,如许多普通公开专利,例如美国专利US 5174505所示的那样。衔铁22和针阀24结合在一起形成一衔铁/针阀组件44。线圈组18包括一个绕有电磁线圈48的塑料线圈架46。线圈48的相应线端与各自的端头50,52相连,该端头50、52被成形并与其外包层53一起形成为盖36的整体部分,从而形成用来连接燃料喷射器和控制该燃料喷射器的电控电路(未示出)的电连接体54。
燃料引入管12是铁磁性的,其露出的上端有燃料引入口56。圆环58绕燃料引入管12外表面设置在燃料引入口56正下面,并与盖36的端面60配合以及插入管12外径以形成一个O形密封环61槽,该密封环61在辅助油路(未示出)中,通常用于密封通向喷注室或套筒的燃料喷射器入口。当燃料喷射器安装于发动机上时,下端的O形环44用于在发动机引入口系统(未示出)提供一带孔的液密密封。过滤器组件16安装于调节管14开口上端用来在燃料进入调节管14之前在燃料进入口56滤去所有大于一定尺寸的颗粒物质。
在校准的燃料喷射器中,调节管14在燃料引入管12内轴向地设置在一轴向位置,压缩弹簧20,使其产生所需的位移力,该位移力推动衔铁/针阀,因此针阀24的圆尖端位于阀座40上而关闭通过该阀座的中心孔。尤其是,管子14和12在完成校准后压接在一起而保持它们相应的轴向定位。
当通过调节管14后,燃料进入一空间62,该空间由引入管12的相临端和衔铁22一起限定,且该空间容纳弹簧20。衔铁22包括一在阀体30内将空间62与通道65连通的通道64,导向元件38包含燃料通道孔38A。这就允许燃料从空间62穿过通道64、65而进入阀座40。这一燃料流路由图1中的一系列箭头表示。
非铁磁性壳体26通过如密封焊等方法套叠地安装并连接于引入管12的下端。壳体26有一套叠于燃烧引入管12下端管颈68上的管颈66。壳体26还有一从管颈66向外径向延伸的凸肩69。凸肩69本身在其外缘有一向喷射器喷嘴端轴向延伸的环形凸缘70。阀体壳体28是铁磁物质的并以液密形式与非磁铁性壳体26连接在一起,也可优选地由激光焊接密封。
阀体30的上端紧密地安装在阀体壳体28的下端内部,这两部分以液密方式结合在一起,最好通过激光焊接。衔铁22的轴向往复运动由阀体30的内壁导向,尤其是在小孔67的内径上,该小孔设置在阀体30的上端。另外,衔铁/针阀组件的轴向导向是由通过针阀24的件38上的中心导向孔提供的。
在图1所示的关闭位置,在燃料引入管12的管颈68的环形端面与面对衔铁22的环形端面之间存在一小的工作间隙72。线圈腔体34和管12在74处相接触并形成一与线圈组件18联系在一起的定子结构。非铁磁性壳体26确保当线圈48通电时,磁通将沿包括衔铁22的通路穿过。磁路从腔体34的下轴端开始,该下轴端与阀体壳体28由激光焊接连接在一起,通过阀体壳体28、阀体30和小孔67延伸至衔铁22,又从衔铁22穿过工作间隙72到达引入管12再返回到腔体34。当线圈48通电后,在衔铁22上的弹簧力被克服且衔铁被吸向引入管12从而减小工作间隙72。这样就从阀座40开启针阀24从而打开燃料喷射器,因此燃料从喷射器喷嘴处喷出。当停止给线圈通电,弹簧20推动衔铁/针阀关闭阀座40。
示出的燃料引入管12包括一截锥形凸肩78,该凸肩78将引入管12的外径分成较大直径部分80和直径较小部分82。线圈架46包括一中心通孔84,其上具有一把该通孔分为较大直径部分88和较小直径部分90的截锥形凸肩86。凸肩86具有与凸肩78互补的形状。
图1表示凸肩78和86沿轴向分开,也表示通孔84部分和燃料引入管12的外径部分沿轴向相互套叠。通孔84的套叠部分包括凸肩86和直接在凸肩86之上的通孔的较大直径部分88的一部分。管12的外径的套叠部分包括凸肩78和管较小直径部分82的一部分。线圈组件18、燃料引入管12,壳体26和28组装过程的相关步骤的含义如在BryanC.Hall的名为“用于小直径焊接燃料喷射器的线圈”的同日专利申请号为08/292,456的普通公开美国专利申请中所披露的一样。如果读者想进一步了解该发明的详细情况,可以参考所披露的内容。
当阀组和动力组已装配在一起后,塑料壳体32装在燃料喷射器上,然后将O形圈44置于环绕阀体30的外侧靠近喷嘴的槽中。该壳体通过在件28和30上的压入配合或卡合配合固定在其位置上而不需要其它任何紧固装置,当该壳体适当定位后,将O形圈44装在阀体30上在燃料喷射器上卡紧该壳体。所述壳体为下面设置的裸露的金属部件28和30提供一覆盖层。
本发明涉及腔体34的细节以及它与燃料喷射器10的其它元件之间的关系。腔体34是由一均匀厚度的金属板材制成大致的管柱状,该管柱状体包括圆柱体34a,圆柱颈34b和在圆柱体34a和圆柱颈34b之间延伸的凸肩34c。圆柱体34a沿圆周方向包围线圈组件18,而颈部34b沿圆周方向包围从线圈组件18的通孔84中向外伸出的燃料引入管12的外径部分,腔体34的尺寸使其紧密但互不干涉地配合于事先装配好的动力组元件上。当腔体34被这样放置后,圆柱颈34b与燃料引入管12通过如焊接或压接等方法结合在一起,圆柱体34a沿轴向的下端边缘与件28的外径也是通过类似的连接方法结合在一起,此前者套在后者之上。凸肩34c经过90°圆弧和圆柱颈34b结合经过相同的圆弧与圆柱体34a结合,虽然后者向外凸而前者向内凹。
如图2和3所示,在腔体34的壁上提供一通孔34d,用来给从线圈组件18到连接器插座54的接电端头50、52提供通道。有益地,这可以是绕腔体的假想长轴所对为锐角的单一通孔,圆柱体34a和颈34b与该长轴同轴。所述的通孔在这个相对着的范围内消除了圆柱颈34b和凸肩34c的整个部分。可由一厚度为约0.50mm到0.95mm的均匀厚度的板材制成令人满意的腔体34。该腔体与线圈组件18顶部的紧密配合减少甚至排除了在盖36的注模成形加工过程期间密封剂侵入的可能性,这对减小内部元件暴露在高压、高温液体、材料中是有益的,因而减小了对移位/可靠性的关心。图4-6表示由金属拉拔加工生产腔体34的加工过程。图4表示形成圆柱体34a的第一次拉拔;图5表示形成凸肩34c和圆柱颈34b的第二次拉拔;图6表示形成上面描述的最后形状的去除材料的加工,参见图2和3圆周颈34b开口端和通孔34d可通过铣削和打毛刺加工形成。可替换地,从图5到图6的加工步骤可以包括冲孔和去毛刺加工。
生产腔体34的另外一种加工方法包括冲切板材,然后轧制而形成其最终形状。形成的结构中将有由轧制边合在一起形成的缝,该缝既可以保持开口状态也可以焊接封合。其中的任一种加工均能生产出上述的在厚度范围内的壁厚减小的腔体,从而导致燃料喷射器直径的减小。
图7表示腔体的另一种可替换形式,该腔体可用在只有简单一个铁磁的芯而不是一燃料引入管12的底部进料喷射器中。通孔34d在圆柱体34a的底边形成,以便线端可以从靠近喷嘴的喷射器侧穿出,而不是如图1所示的顶部进料燃料喷射器。
虽然在这里是对本发明的最佳实施例加以描述的,应该理解使用本发明的原理的各种等同结构与方法均是落入后述诸权利要求的范畴中的。
Claims (12)
1.一种燃料喷射器,该喷射器包括与衔铁同轴的管状的定子;有一缠绕在包围定子部分的线圈架上的线圈的电磁线圈组件;具有至少两个与线圈端相应连接的接线端的线圈架,定子、衔铁、形成磁路的线圈组件,腔体,其特征在于:
一端开口,且沿圆周方向包围电磁线圈组件的管状圆柱体,其壁的厚度均匀,构成磁路的一部分;
在所述圆柱体的另一端的凸肩,从该圆柱体沿径向向内延伸而形成一开口,用于与定子结合在一起,该定子和所述凸肩适合于焊接,以及
在所述凸肩上的单一的通孔,该通孔对应着绕所述腔体长轴的一个角度且在所对的角度上所述凸肩的一边缘部分被消除,以接收接线端。
2.一种用于将燃料喷射到内燃机的电控燃料喷射器,包括:
在所述燃料喷射器内的内部通道,该通道用于将进入燃料喷射器的燃料入口处的燃料传送到把燃料从燃料喷射器喷出的喷嘴处,
定子结构件,
有容纳所述定子构件的轴向通孔的电磁线圈,所述线圈形成所述定子构件的一部分,该定子构件成为所述线圈产生的磁通的磁路的一部分,
具有一长轴和均匀壁厚的管状圆柱腔体,该腔体沿圆周方向包围所述的线圈且形成所述定子构件的另一部分,所述的腔体是一圆柱体它套叠地连接于所述定子构件的一部分,
在所述腔体上的圆柱颈,沿圆周方向包围并连接在所述定子构件上,
在所述圆柱颈和圆柱体之间延伸的凸肩,包括用于与所述圆柱颈和圆柱体连接在一起的圆弧带,
单一的通孔,该通孔延伸穿过所述腔体的圆柱颈、凸肩和圆柱体中的至少一个,该通孔对应着绕所述腔体长轴的一角度,以及
从所述线圈引出的穿过所述通孔的接电端。
3.如权利要求2所述的燃料喷射器,其特征在于,所述的单一通孔对应着绕所述腔体长轴的一个锐角,在这一对角内所述的凸肩和所述的圆柱颈被消除。

5.一种用来把燃料喷射到内燃机中的电控燃料喷射器,包括:
位于所述燃料喷射器内的内部通道,该通道用于将进入燃料喷射器的燃料入口处的燃料传送到把燃料从燃料喷射器喷出的喷嘴处,
具有容纳所述定子构件的轴向通孔的电磁线圈,该线圈是所述定子构件的一部分,该定子构件形成由所述线圈产生的磁通路的一部分,
圆柱腔体,该腔体沿圆周方向包围所述线圈并形成所述定子构件的另一部分,
位于所述燃料喷射器内的机构,该机构用来有选择地打开和关闭所述的内部通道,且该机构包括衔铁和阀,
所述内部通道的至少一部分被包含在燃料喷射器的阀体结构内,
包括所述衔铁的所述磁路的另一部分与所述定子相联系以便在所述的定子和衔铁间提供一工作间隙,用来根据所述线圈有选择的通电使得所述衔铁操作所述的阀从而有选择地打开和关闭所述的内部通道,
