Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of traditional Chinese medicine compositions, and particularly relates to a traditional Chinese medicine composition for reducing blood sugar, and a preparation method and application thereof.
Background
Diabetes is an increasingly serious public health problem worldwide. It is reported that 13% of adults in the united states have diabetes, with medical costs as high as $ 3270 billion for diabetes in 2017 alone. Studies have shown that the incidence of diabetes has increased in recent years.
Among them, type ii diabetes is the most common type of diabetes, and its occurrence and development are related to various factors, such as insulin resistance, obesity, or impaired beta cell function. The blood sugar control means of the patients with the current stage II diabetes mellitus is usually oral sugar control medicines or a combined medicine of the oral sugar control medicines and insulin. Because the treatment method can only control the blood sugar of the patient and cannot radically solve the problem of endocrine dyscrasia of the patient, even if the blood sugar level of the patient is well controlled by the sugar-controlling medicament, the patient cannot be cured, and therefore, a series of diabetic complications usually appear in the later period of treatment. Traditional medicines may become another option for the treatment of diabetes. Therefore, the traditional Chinese medicine composition for effectively treating diabetes has great market demand.

Application example 1
The invention selects a type II diabetes patient with age of 39 years and body mass index of 36.6kg/m2It is suitable for light labour without great pressure. Before treatment, the patient has severe thirst symptoms, and the clinical examination report shows that the fasting blood sugar is 19.08 mmol/L; 10.4% of glycosylated hemoglobin; triglyceride 18.56 mmol/L. The patients do not take medicines for controlling blood sugar and blood fat before, during and after treatment, and the patients eat 1500-4500 g of the traditional Chinese medicine composition every day during the treatment period.
The patients continued to eat the traditional Chinese medicine composition provided in example 1 for 33 days, and statistics were made on the blood sugar and blood lipid changes of the patients during and after the end of the consumption of the traditional Chinese medicine composition.
1. The statistical results of blood glucose changes are shown in tables 1-3, FIGS. 1 and 2.
TABLE 1 fasting plasma glucose concentration changes during and after the end of the consumption of the Chinese medicinal composition
TABLE 2 change of glycated hemoglobin during and after administration of the Chinese medicinal composition
Treatment initiation timing (d) | 0 | 63 | 233 |
Glycated hemoglobin (%) | 10.4 | 7.7 | 6.3 |
TABLE 3 daily blood glucose excursion monitoring (blood glucose concentration mmol/L) of a patient during treatment with a Chinese medicinal composition
As can be seen from FIG. 1 and Table 1, the fasting blood glucose of the patients gradually decreased from 19.08mmol/L to 7.08mmol/L in 33 days of the treatment of the patients, and the blood glucose did not rebound greatly within 200 days after the treatment of the Chinese medicinal composition was stopped. And the index of the glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) of the patient is continuously reduced 30 days after the treatment of the traditional Chinese medicine composition is stopped, and the HbA1c is reduced to a normal level 200 days after the treatment is stopped.
Table 3 demonstrates the daily blood glucose level changes of the patients during the treatment period of the Chinese medicinal composition. The treatment of the traditional Chinese medicine composition obviously reduces the blood sugar fluctuation. As can be seen from the comparison at the same test time point, the blood glucose level of the patient gradually decreases as the treatment time of the Chinese medicinal composition advances.
2. The statistical results of the blood lipid changes are shown in tables 4-7 and fig. 3-6.
TABLE 4 Change in Triglyceride (TG) of patients during treatment with the Chinese medicinal composition
TABLE 5 Change in Total Cholesterol (TC) in patients during treatment with the Chinese medicinal composition
TABLE 6 Change in high Density lipoprotein Cholesterol (HDL-C) in patients during treatment with the Chinese medicinal composition
TABLE 7 Change in Low Density lipoprotein Cholesterol (LDL-C) in patients during treatment with the Chinese medicinal composition
As shown in tables 4 to 7 and FIGS. 3 to 6, the TG value of the Chinese medicinal composition rapidly decreased after 7 days of treatment, and the TG value decreased to a normal level after 32 days of treatment. The TG level of this patient did not rebound 200 days after treatment was stopped. TC decreased to normal levels 7 days after treatment. HDL-C and LDL-C were within the normal range both during and after treatment. And the body weight of the patient does not fluctuate more than 1kg during and 200 days after the treatment.
The data show that the traditional Chinese medicine composition provided by the invention can effectively play a technical role in reducing blood sugar and blood fat of type II diabetes patients.
Although the present invention has been described with respect to the preferred embodiments, it should be understood that the invention is not limited thereto, and that various changes and modifications can be made by one skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
