Abstract
通过在真空中梳理密胺纤维使之比不在真空中梳理的密胺纤维有更窄的纤维直径分布(*d)和/或更窄的纤维长度分布(*l),可以使含密胺纤维的织物穿起来感觉更加舒适。此外,更加舒适的含密胺纤维的纱线是以比传统密胺纤维纱线低的捻度系数(TM)纺纤而成的。最优选将这种含密胺纤维的织物和纱线与至少一种其它类型的合成纤维,如芳族聚酰胺纤维,进行混纺。
Description
本发明一般地涉及密胺纤维领域。具体而言,本发明体现在密胺纤维与其它合成纤维(如芳族聚酰胺纤维)的共混物中,当这种共混纤维用于服装织物时,表现出改善的手感,从而有更好的舒适性。
密胺短纤维因这种纤维的制造方法而含有不同长度与不同直径的纤维。在服装的裁剪与缝纫中以及当含密胺纤维的织物受磨损时,有可能(i)直径较大的纤维从织物中伸出来和/或(ii)长度较短的纤维从织物中脱出并掉落在人的皮肤上。在每一种情况下,都可能造成身体上的不舒服。
按照本发明,可使含密胺纤维的织物穿起来更舒适。因此,广义地说,本发明体现在包括具有改善的手感,从而有更好舒适性的密胺纤维的织物中。按照本发明,密胺纤维要经过真空梳理,从而比不经真空梳理的密胺纤维有更窄的纤维直径分布(*d)和/或更窄的短纤维长度分布(*l)。此外,从这种密胺短纤维纺成的纱线将比传统的密胺纤维纱线有一个较低的捻度系数(TM)。
在仔细考虑了以下优选实例性实施方案的详述后,本发明的上述方面和其它方面以及优点将变得更加清楚。
“纤维”一词,如本文所用,是指各种不同长度的短纤维。“梳条”一词是未加捻的松散组合纤维的连续丝束。“粗纱”一词是指一根业已搓捻以便供料于精纺机(即纺成纱线之前的)的梳条。
可用于本发明的密胺纤维是那些从密胺-甲醛预缩合产物的高浓度溶液,在加入酸性固化剂后,通过气流纺纱、出车、挤出或原纤化而形成的纤维。由此获得的这种纤维一般在拉伸或不拉伸下进行预干燥以及密胺树脂通常在120℃至250℃固化。这种纤维通常为约0.3~约8旦以及长度为约0.5~约8英寸。特别是,当密胺树脂中有最多达30mol%,特别是2~20mol%的密胺被羟烷基密胺取代时,就能获得热稳定的纤维。这类纤维有一个最高达200℃,优选最高达220℃的持久使用温度。此外,可以用取代的密胺、脲或酚代替少量密胺。
最优选将这种密胺纤维与另一种合成单丝混纺以达到所需的纱线性能。但是,优选将密胺纤维与芳族聚酰胺纤维混纺,正如I1g等在美国专利5,560,990中更全面公开的那样(特将专利的全部内容包括于此,供参考)。更具体地说,在共混物中密胺纤维将以约5~约95重量份的量存在,而芳族聚酰胺纤维以约95~约5重量份的量存在。
密胺纤维和任何与之混纺的其它纤维都要经梳理工艺以除去较粗和较长的短纤维。具体地说,按照本发明,密胺纤维要在真空作用下经过梳理,使得在所形成的梳条中有至少约90%,以及更典型地至少约95%的密胺纤维具有一个约1.0~约5.0英寸的短纤维长度,以及每根单丝约0.3~约4.0旦的直径(dpf)。最优选用一个传统的Truetzschler梳理系统进行梳理。
然后可将所形成的梳条成形为粗纱,供给于精纺机。关于这一点,最优选从粗纱纺成的纱线有一个小于约4.0,更优选小于约3.5的捻度系数(TM)。“捻度系数”等于每英寸纱线的上捻度除以以棉花支数表示的纱线支数的平方根。
从以下的非限定实例中可进一步理解本发明。
实例
用一种密胺树脂纤维(BASF公司的BASOFIL 7纤维)与芳族聚酰胺纤维(DuPont公司的KEVLAR 7纤维)的混纺纱,通过分别在非真空(“对比”)和真空作用(“本发明”)下的梳理系统上梳理混纺纱而形成梳条。梳理后,将形成的梳条拉伸2倍以提高混纺效果与取向。在每一次拉伸步骤中,将8~10根梳条的端头合并在一起且向下拉伸成一条其尺寸接近于每一单根梳条的梳条。然后将该拉伸过的梳条成形为一根取向而低捻的粗纱,以供应于精纺机。
将粗纱在一台“柯登式”短纤维环绽细纱机上通过将其朝下牵伸而纺成所要求的纱线支数,然后作一定程度的加捻。然后将两股纱线进行合股加捻。对比纱线和本发明纱线的性能列于下表。关于这一点,单纱的纱支数是从双股纱线估算出来的(即假设单纱的纱支数是双股纱线支数的一半)。而且,每英寸单纱的捻度是根据双股纱线的捻度一般为单股纱线捻度的60%估算出来的。

用双股纱线制成织构(construction)相同的织物。关于这一点,采用一种平纹防破裂织构,织物的重量为约7.5盎司/平方码。所述防破裂织构包括在普通平纹中每隔8根经纱或纬纱后有2根经纱或纬纱并在一起,这样在织物上就形成了一个略微隆起的方形花样,使织物的手感,如果是毛糙的(scratchy),愈加明显。
由对比纱线生产的织物给出一种毛糙的感觉,但由本发明的纱线制成的织物有一种更柔软更平滑的感觉。还观察到用本发明的织物制成的服装不仅少扎手,而且在服装生产中产生的裁剪棉绒和/或短纤维也少得多。
虽然对本发明已联系了目前认为最实际和最优选的实施方案作了描述,但应理解,本发明不受公开的实施方案的限制,相反,有意将各种改性和等效的方案囊括在所附权利要求的精神与范围内。
Claims (18)
1.一种包括密胺纤维的纱线,其中至少有90%的密胺纤维具有1.0~5.0英寸的短纤维长度和每根单丝0.3~4.0旦的直径。
2.权利要求1的纱线,它具有小于4.0的捻度系数。
3.权利要求1的纱线,它具有小于3.5的捻度系数。
4.权利要求1的纱线,其中至少95%的密胺纤维具有1.0~5.0英寸的短纤维长度和每根单丝0.3~4.0旦的直径。
5.权利要求1的纱线,它还包含至少一种选自芳族聚酰胺纤维的合成纤维。
6.权利要求5的纱线,其中所述密胺纤维的存在量为5~95重量份,以及其中所述的芳族聚酰胺纤维的存在量为95~5重量份。
7.权利要求1-7中任何一项的纱线用于织物。

13.一种制造含密胺织物的方法,它包括下列步骤:
(i)在真空作用下梳理密胺短纤维获得一种梳条,其中至少90%的密胺纤维具有1.0~5.0英寸的短纤维长度和每根单丝0.3~4.0旦的直径;
(ii)将梳条纺丝形成捻度系数小于4.0的纱线;和
(iii)将纱线织成织物。
14.权利要求13的方法,其中步骤(i)包括将密胺纤维与至少一种选自芳族聚酰胺纤维的合成纤维进行混纺。
15.权利要求13的方法,其中,在步骤(i)之前先将密胺纤维与至少一种选自芳族聚酰胺纤维的合成纤维进行混纺。
