本发明提供一种层叠膜,其具有合适的易开封性,且在高温下也具有高密封强度。本发明是通过一种层叠膜而可实现合适的易开封性与高温下的高的密封强度,该层叠膜是具有表面层(A)、中间层(B)及密封层(C)的层叠膜,上述表面层(A)及密封层(C)含有聚丙烯系树脂作为主成分,上述中间层(B)含有聚丙烯系树脂(b1)与聚乙烯系树脂(b2),上述中间层(B)所含的树脂成分中的聚丙烯系树脂(b1)的含量为40~70质量%,上述聚乙烯系树脂(b2)的含量为30~60质量%,上述中间层(B)的厚度是层叠膜的总厚度的15%以下,上述密封层(C)的厚度是层叠膜的总厚度的15%以下。

层叠膜、层压膜及包装容器
技术领域
本发明涉及一种作为密封膜的易开封性优异且可在高温下进行杀菌处理的层叠膜、层压膜及包装容器。
背景技术
关于沸煮、蒸煮等食品的包装容器、隐形眼镜等卫生用品的包装容器等包装容器,要求具有不发生加热杀菌中的内容物泄漏、因流通时的冲击所致的开封等这样的高密封性,另一方面又要求具有在开封时可容易开封的易开封性。
作为具有合适的密封性与易开封性的膜,公开了例如聚丙烯系的密封层、与以聚乙烯系树脂为主体的树脂层所层叠而成的复合膜(参照专利文献1);含有聚丙烯系树脂和聚乙烯系树脂的密封层、与含有聚丙烯系树脂的树脂层所层叠而成的多层膜(参照专利文献2)等。

发明内容
发明要解决的课题
近年来,在食品、卫生用品的包装容器方面,基于卫生性提高、有效期限的长期化、制造效率提高等的需求,要求对于更高温下的加热杀菌处理的耐受性。上述的膜虽具有合适的密封性、易开封性,但在大于130℃那样的高温下包装容器内的内压会变高,因此需要进一步提高高温下的密封强度。
本发明的课题是提供一种层叠膜,其具有合适的易开封性,且在高温下也具有高密封强度。
用于解决课题的手段
本发明通过一种层叠膜解决上述课题,该层叠膜是具有表面层(A)、中间层(B)及密封层(C)的层叠膜,其中,上述表面层(A)及密封层(C)含有聚丙烯系树脂作为主成分,上述中间层(B)含有聚丙烯系树脂(b1)与聚乙烯系树脂(b2),上述中间层(B)中所含的树脂成分中的聚丙烯系树脂(b1)的含量为40~70质量%,上述聚乙烯系树脂(b2)的含量为30~60质量%,上述中间层(B)的厚度是层叠膜的总厚度的15%以下,上述密封层(C)的厚度是层叠膜的总厚度的15%以下。
发明效果
本发明的层叠膜是能够保持可容易开封的优异易开封性、以及在大于130℃这样的高度加热杀菌处理时也良好的密封强度,因此可适用作为需进行加热杀菌等高温处理的各种包装容器的密封膜。尤其,将本发明的层叠膜作为密封膜使用的层压膜适合作为将食品、卫生用品、医疗用品等包装中使用的具有开口部的包装容器的开口部加以密封的盖材。
具体实施方式
本发明的层叠膜是具有表面层(A)、中间层(B)及密封层(C)的层叠膜,表面层(A)及密封层(C)含有聚丙烯系树脂为主成分,中间层(B)含有聚丙烯系树脂(b1)与聚乙烯系树脂(b2)。而且,中间层(B)所含的树脂成分中的聚丙烯系树脂(b1)的含量为40~70质量%,聚乙烯系树脂(b2)的含量为30~60质量%。另外,层叠膜的中间层(B)的厚度是层叠膜的总厚度的15%以下,密封层(C)的厚度是层叠膜的总厚度的15%以下。
[表面层(A)]
本发明的层叠膜中使用的表面层(A)含有聚丙烯系树脂作为主成分。通过使用聚丙烯系树脂作为表面层,可提高层叠膜的耐热性。作为该聚丙烯系树脂,可列举例如丙烯均聚物,丙烯与乙烯、丁烯-1等α-烯烃的共聚物;作为共聚物,可使用无规共聚物、嵌段共聚物的任一者。作为其中优选的物质,可列举丙烯均聚物,丙烯-乙烯无规共聚物,丙烯-乙烯-丁烯-1无规共聚物。作为上述丙烯-乙烯无规共聚物、丙烯-乙烯-丁烯-1无规共聚物等丙烯系无规共聚物,优选共聚物中的源自丙烯的成分含有率为90摩尔%以上,特别优选92~98摩尔%。这些丙烯系树脂(a)可单独使用,也可混合使用。
作为聚丙烯系树脂,优选其熔点为130℃以上,更优选为140℃以上。通过使用该熔点的聚丙烯系树脂,能够得到可维持高温下的密封强度的耐热性。另外,该熔点是由示差扫描量热计(DSC)求得的吸热峰温度。
表面层(A)中的聚丙烯系树脂的含量优选为表面层(A)所含的树脂成分中的80质量%以上,更优选为90质量%以上。通过将聚丙烯系树脂的含量设为该范围,可维持耐热性。
表面层(A)中,可并用上述聚丙烯系树脂以外的其它树脂。作为该其它树脂,也可混合上述聚丙烯系树脂以外的其它烯烃系树脂、制造丙烯系膜时所产生的膜端部等的回收品等。作为上述聚丙烯系树脂以外的烯烃系树脂,优选聚乙烯系树脂。作为该树脂,可列举例如直链状低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)、低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)、中密度聚乙烯(MDPE)、高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)等聚乙烯树脂;乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物、乙烯-丙烯酸甲酯共聚物、乙烯-丙烯酸乙酯共聚物、乙烯-甲基丙烯酸共聚物等,其中优选聚乙烯树酯,尤其优选直链状低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)、高密度聚乙烯(HDPE),最优选密度0.918~0.950g/cm3的直链状低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)。这些聚乙烯系树脂可单独使用,也可混合使用。
表面层(A)中的该其它树脂的含量优选为表面层(A)所含的树脂成分中的20质量%以下,从耐热性的观点更优选为10质量%以下。
另外,表面层(A)中,可适当地添加润滑剂、抗结块剂、紫外线吸收剂、光稳定剂、抗静电剂、防雾剂等、着色剂等添加剂。
[中间层(B)]
本发明使用的中间层(B)含有聚丙烯系树脂(b1)与聚乙烯系树脂(b2),该中间层(B)所含的树脂成分中的聚丙烯系树脂(b1)的含量为40~70质量%,聚乙烯系树脂(b2)的含量为30~60质量%。本发明中,通过使用该中间层,可实现合适的易开封性与高温下的高密封强度。
作为中间层(B)中使用的聚丙烯系树脂(b1),与上述表面层(A)中例示的聚丙烯系树脂同样地,可使用丙烯均聚物,丙烯与乙烯、丁烯-1等α-烯烃的共聚物等;作为共聚物,可使用无规共聚物、嵌段共聚物。其中,优选丙烯-乙烯无规共聚物、丙烯-乙烯-丁烯-1无规共聚物。这些丙烯系树脂(b1)可单独使用,也可混合使用。
聚丙烯系树脂(b1)的熔点优选为130℃以上,更优选为140℃以上。通过使用该熔点的聚丙烯系树脂(b1),可维持高温下的密封强度。
聚丙烯系树脂(b1)在230℃下的熔体流动速率优选为1.0~10g/10分钟,更优选为3.0~8.0g/10分钟。通过将熔体流动速率设为该范围,容易得到合适的易开封性、挤出成形性。
作为中间层中使用的聚乙烯系树脂(b2),与上述表面层(A)中例示的聚乙烯系树脂同样地,可使用直链状低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)、低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)、中密度聚乙烯(MDPE)、高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)等聚乙烯树脂;乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物、乙烯-丙烯酸甲酯共聚物、乙烯-丙烯酸乙酯共聚物、乙烯-甲基丙烯酸共聚物等。其中,可优选使用高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)、直链状低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)。这些聚乙烯系树脂可单独使用,也可混合使用。
因在使用高密度聚乙烯时容易得到合适的耐热性,因此可优选使用密度0.940~0.965g/cm3的高密度聚乙烯树脂,特别优选密度0.950~0.965g/cm3的高密度聚乙烯系树脂。
聚乙烯系树脂(b2)的熔点优选为130℃以上,更优选为132℃以上。通过使用该熔点的聚乙烯系树脂(b2),可维持高温下的密封强度。
聚乙烯系树脂(b2)在190℃下的熔体流动速率优选为2~20g/10分钟,更优选为5~15g/10分钟。通过使用该熔体流动速率的聚乙烯系树脂(b2),在与聚丙烯系树脂(b1)进行熔融混练而挤出成形时容易得到良好的分散性,容易实现合适的密封强度。
中间层(B)所含的树脂成分中的聚丙烯系树脂(b1)的含量优选为40~70质量%,更优选为45~60质量%。而且,中间层(B)所含的树脂成分中的聚乙烯系树脂(b2)的含量优选为30~60质量%,更优选为40~55质量%。通过将各树脂的含量设为上述范围,容易得到合适的密封强度,尤其是高温下的合适的密封强度与易开封性。
聚丙烯系树脂(b1)与聚乙烯系树脂(b2)的含量比优选为70/30~50/50,更优选为60/40~50/50。通过设为该含量比,可得到合适的密封强度。
中间层(B)中,与上述表面层(A)同样地,可适当地使用添加剂。
[密封层(C)]
本发明的层叠膜中使用的密封层(C)含有聚丙烯系树脂作为主成分。通过使用聚丙烯系树脂作为密封层,可提高层叠膜的耐热性,同时也容易确保与包装容器的合适的密合性。作为该聚丙烯系树脂,可优选使用与上述表面层(A)中例示的聚丙烯系树脂同样的物质。
其中,作为密封层(C)中使用的聚丙烯系树脂,可列举例如丙烯均聚物,丙烯与乙烯、丁烯-1等α-烯烃的共聚物等;作为共聚物,可使用无规共聚物、嵌段共聚物的任一者。作为其中优选的物质,可列举丙烯-乙烯无规共聚物、丙烯-乙烯-丁烯-1无规共聚物等。这些丙烯系树脂(a)可单独使用,也可混合使用。
作为密封层(C)中使用的聚丙烯系树脂,其熔点优选为130℃以上,更优选为140℃以上。通过使用该熔点的聚丙烯系树脂,可得到合适的耐热性与密封起始温度。
作为密封层(C)中使用的聚丙烯系树脂,在230℃下的熔体流动速率优选为0.5~15g/10分钟,更优选为3~12g/10分钟。通过将熔体流动速率设为该范围,容易得到合适的挤出成形性。
密封层(C)中的聚丙烯系树脂的含量优选为密封层(C)所含的树脂成分中的90质量%以上,更优选为95质量%以上。若为此范围,则容易维持合适的耐热性。
密封层(C)中,还可并用上述聚丙烯系树脂以外的其他树脂。作为该其他树脂,可合适地使用与上述表面层(A)中例示的聚丙烯系树脂以外的其它树脂同样的物质。
密封层(C)中的该其它树脂的含量优选为密封层(C)所含的树脂成分中的20质量%以下,更优选为5~20质量%,进一步优选为5~10质量%。若为该范围,则容易维持耐热性,容易得到合适的密封强度。
密封层(C)中,与上述表面层(A)同样地,可适当地使用添加剂。
[层叠膜]
本发明的层叠膜是至少层叠有上述表面层(A)、中间层(B)及密封层(C)的膜,为如下的构成:一侧的表层为表面层(A),另一侧的表层为密封层(C),在该表面层(A)与密封层(C)之间具有中间层(B)。该构成的层叠膜通过在两个表层中含有高耐热性的聚丙烯系树脂作为主成分,层叠膜整体可实现高耐热性。另外,使用以聚丙烯系树脂为主成分的密封层(C),以及按照上述配比含有高耐热性的聚丙烯系树脂及聚乙烯系树脂的中间层(B)。进一步,中间层(B)的厚度及密封层(C)的厚度分别设定为层叠膜的总厚度的15%以下。从而,在密封后的开封时,会发生密封层(C)的断裂与中间层(B)的凝聚破坏,因此在能够对应于高温下的内压而保持高密封强度的同时,也可实现开封时的合适的易开封性。
本发明的层叠膜中的密封层(C)的厚度是膜总厚度的15%以下,优选为5~15%的范围。密封层(C)的厚度在该范围时,热封强度稳定而呈现适度的易开封性,在开封时不易引起残膜。另外,中间层(B)的厚度为膜总厚度的15%以下,优选为5~15%的范围。中间层(B)的厚度在该范围时,热封强度稳定而呈现适度的易开封性。
本发明的层叠膜中的表面层(A)的厚度优选为90%以下,更优选为50~80%,进一步优选为60~80%。通过将表面层的厚度设为该范围,容易得到合适的耐热性、稳定的热封强度、合适的易开封性。
关于本发明的层叠膜的厚度,其总厚度优选为15~100μm,从易开封性的观点,更优选为20~60μm。通过设为该厚度,容易特别适宜地适用于包装容器的盖材用膜。
表面层(A)、中间层(B)及密封层(C)分别可为单层,也可由多个层形成。由多个层构成时,可层叠相同配比的层,也可层叠不同配比的层。另外,本发明的层叠膜具有中间层(B)与密封层(C)直接层叠而成的构成。
作为本发明的层叠膜的优选构成例,可例示表面层(A)/中间层(B)/密封层(C)的构成、将表面层设为二层构成的表面层(A1)/表面层(A2)/中间层(B)/密封层(C)的构成等。
尤其,本发明中,表面层(A)占总厚度的比例高,因此为了使得在使用共挤出法时容易调整热封中间层(B)与密封层(C)的厚度,如果设为2层以上的多层构成,由于会成为均质性优异的多层膜因而优选。此时,关于将表面层(A)设为2层以上时的构成各层的树脂混合物,以聚丙烯系树脂作为主成分即可,可以全部为相同的混合物,也可为各自的熔体流动速率(MFR)、密度不同的树脂的混合物、混合比率不同的混合物等。
另外,在不损害本发明的效果的范围内,本发明的层叠膜可具有障壁层等除了上述表面层(A)、中间层(B)及密封层(C)以外的其它层。在设置该其它层时,该其它层的厚度优选为层叠膜的总厚度的10%以下。
作为本发明的层叠膜的制造方法,必须为以表面层(A)/中间层(B)/密封层(C)的构成而进行层叠的共挤出层叠成形法,优选例如通过使用3台以上的挤出机进行熔融挤出的共挤出多层模法、进料块法等公知的共挤出法,以熔融状态将表面层(A)、中间层(B)及密封层(C)层叠之后,用膨胀、T模冷轧辊法等方法将其加工成长条卷膜的方法,更优选使用T模的共挤出法。
[层压膜]
本发明的层叠膜可在表面层(A)上层压基材,从而形成层压膜。作为该基材,可列举例如双轴拉伸聚酯膜、双轴拉伸尼龙膜、无纺布、铝箔、纸等。这些基材可单独使用,也可使用将2种以上的膜层叠而成的基材。
作为在层叠膜上层压基材的方法,可列举例如干式层压法、热层压法、多层挤出涂布法等,这些之中,更优选干式层压法。另外,作为以干式层压法将本发明的共挤出层叠膜与基材进行层压时所使用的粘接剂,可列举例如聚醚-聚氨酯系粘接剂、聚酯-聚氨酯系粘接剂等。
另外,在将本发明的层叠膜与基材进行层压之前,若对上述树脂层(A)的表面实施电晕放电处理,则与基材的密合性提高,因而优选。
[包装容器]
上述层压膜可合适地作为各种包装用材料使用,通过利用该层压膜密封具有开口部的容器的开口部,即可制成包装容器。尤其最适合作为将食品、卫生用品、医药用品等具有开口部的包装容器的开口部加以密封的盖材。而且,将本发明的层压膜作为盖材使用时,包装容器的开口部的热封面优选以聚丙烯系树脂作为主成分。通过将该热封面设为以聚丙烯系树脂作为主成分,容易实现高耐热性,而且,可得到包装容器的开口部与盖材的密封强度合适、易开封性优异、保有加热处理中内容物不会泄出的密封强度的包装容器。
作为上述聚丙烯系树脂,可列举例如丙烯均聚物、丙烯-乙烯共聚物、丙烯-丁烯-1共聚物、丙烯-乙烯-丁烯-1共聚物等丙烯的均聚物或丙烯与α-烯烃的共聚物。这些聚丙烯系树脂中,若聚合物中的丙烯单体单元的含量为70摩尔%以上,则可得到充分的密封强度,因而优选。
另外,上述包装容器的开口部的热封面含有聚丙烯系树脂作为主成分,而作为该含量,更优选为60质量%以上,进一步优选为80质量%以上。上述热封面的聚丙烯系树脂的含量若为该范围,则可得到充分的密封强度,因而优选。另外,作为在该热封面中可与聚丙烯系树脂并用的树脂,只要是与聚丙烯系树脂的相溶性良好且不阻碍热封的树脂,则无特别限定,可列举例如乙烯均聚物、乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物等聚乙烯系树脂等。
实施例
以下列举实施例与比较例,具体地说明本发明,但本发明并不限定于这些。此外,例中的份及%均为重量基准。
对于后述的实施例及比较例中所得的层叠膜等,进行以下的评价。所得结果示于表中。
(1)易剥离性的评价
在所得膜的表面层(A)侧,使用氨基甲酸酯系粘接剂,层压膜厚15μm的双轴延伸尼龙膜,制成层压膜。将所得层压膜的热封层与厚度0.3mm的聚丙烯片合在一起,使用精密热封机(Tester Industry制造),在温度200℃、压力0.2MPa,以宽度10mm的密封棒热封1.0秒后放置冷却,接着,从经热封的样品切取15mm宽度的试验片,在23℃、50%RH的恒温室中,以拉伸速度300mm/分钟的条件,利用万能型拉伸试验机(A&D株式会社制造)在180°方向剥离来测定最大荷重。(单位:N/15mm)
(2)耐热性的评价
将上述片与上述层压膜的热封层重叠,使用精密热封机,在温度200℃、压力0.2MPa,以宽度10mm的密封棒热封1.0秒后放置冷却,接着,从经热封的样品切取15mm宽度的试验片,在130℃的恒温槽内,以拉伸速度300mm/分钟的条件,利用万能型拉伸试验机(A&D株式会社制造)在180°方向剥离来测定最大荷重。(单位:N/15mm)
(实施例1)
表面层(A)设为二层构成。作为表面层(A1)及表面层(A2)用的树脂,使用以多位点催化剂(multi-site catalyst)合成的丙烯均聚物[密度0.89g/cm3、MFR(230℃)3g/10分钟;以下称为HOPP];作为中间层(B),使用60份丙烯-乙烯共聚物[熔点135℃、密度0.89g/cm3、MFR(230℃)7g/10分钟;以下称为COPP(1)]与40份高密度聚乙烯[密度0.960g/cm3、MFR(190℃)7g/10分钟;以下称为HDPE]的混合物;作为密封层(C)用的树脂,使用以多位点催化剂合成的丙烯-乙烯共聚物[熔点140℃、密度0.89g/cm3、MFR(230℃)7.5g/10分钟;以下称为COPP(2)];将树脂分别供给至表面层(A1)用挤出机(口径50mm)、表面层(A2)用挤出机(口径50mm)、中间层(B)用挤出机(口径40mm)以及密封层(C)用挤出机(口径40mm),利用共挤出法、以挤出温度250℃按照(A1)/(A2)/(B)/(C)的各层的厚度成为20/20/5/5(μm)的方式从T型模具挤出,利用40℃的水冷金属冷却辊冷却,按照表面层(A)的润湿张力成为40mN/m的方式进行电晕放电处理后,卷绕成卷,使其在35℃的熟化室中熟化48小时,得到总厚度50μm的共挤出多层膜。
(实施例2)
作为中间层(B)用的树脂,使用50份COPP(1)与50份HDPE的混合物,除此之外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,得到实施例2的共挤出层叠膜。
(实施例3)
作为中间层(B)用的树脂,使用70份COPP(1)与30份HDPE的混合物,除此之外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,得到实施例3的共挤出层叠膜。
(实施例4)
作为中间层(B)用的树脂,使用60份COPP(1)与40份HDPE的混合物,且按照(A1)/(A2)/(B)/(C)的各层的厚度成为15/20/7.5/7.5(μm)的方式挤出,除此之外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,得到实施例4的共挤出层叠膜。
(实施例5)
作为中间层(B)用的树脂,使用50份COPP(1)与50份HDPE的混合物,且按照(A1)/(A2)/(B)/(C)的各层的厚度成为15/20/7.5/7.5(μm)的方式挤出,除此之外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,得到实施例5的共挤出层叠膜。
(实施例6)
作为中间层(B)用的树脂,使用70份COPP(1)与30份HDPE的混合物,且按照(A1)/(A2)/(B)/(C)的各层的厚度成为15/20/7.5/7.5(μm)的方式挤出,除此之外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,得到实施例6的共挤出层叠膜。
(比较例1)
作为中间层(B)用的树脂,使用80份COPP(1)与20份HDPE的混合物,且按照(A1)/(A2)/(B)/(C)的各层的厚度成为20/20/5/5(μm)的方式挤出,除此之外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,得到比较例1的共挤出层叠膜。
(比较例2)
作为中间层(B)用的树脂,使用30份COPP(1)与70份HDPE的混合物,且按照(A1)/(A2)/(B)/(C)的各层的厚度成为20/20/5/5(μm)的方式挤出,除此之外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,得到比较例2的共挤出层叠膜。
(比较例3)
作为中间层(B)用的树脂,使用50份COPP(1)与50份HDPE的混合物,且按照(A1)/(A2)/(B)/(C)的各层的厚度成为10/20/10/10(μm)的方式挤出,除此之外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,得到比较例3的共挤出层叠膜。
(比较例4)
作为中间层(B)用的树脂,使用70份乙烯-丙烯共聚物[熔点125℃、密度0.89g/cm3、MFR(230℃)7g/10分钟;以下称为COPP(3)]与30份HDPE的混合物,且按照(A1)/(A2)/(B)/(C)的各层的厚度成为20/20/5/5(μm)的方式挤出,除此之外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,得到比较例4的共挤出层叠膜。
(比较例5)
作为中间层(B)用的树脂,使用50份COPP(3)与50份HDPE的混合物,且按照(A1)/(A2)/(B)/(C)的各层的厚度成为10/20/10/10(μm)的方式挤出,除此之外,进行与实施例1相同的操作,得到比较例5的共挤出层叠膜。

由上述表可明显看出,实施例1~6的本发明的层叠膜具有可耐受高温下的剥离的良好耐热性与合适的易剥离性。另一方面,比较例1~5的薄膜无法兼具耐热性与易剥离性。

Claims (7)

1.一种层叠膜,其特征在于,为具有表面层(A)、中间层(B)及密封层(C)的层叠膜,
所述表面层(A)及密封层(C)含有聚丙烯系树脂作为主成分,
所述中间层(B)含有聚丙烯系树脂(b1)与聚乙烯系树脂(b2),
所述中间层(B)所含的树脂成分中的聚丙烯系树脂(b1)的含量为40~70质量%,所述聚乙烯系树脂(b2)的含量为30~60质量%,
所述中间层(B)的厚度是层叠膜的总厚度的15%以下,并且
所述密封层(C)的厚度是层叠膜的总厚度的15%以下。
2.根据权利要求1所述的层叠膜,其中,所述中间层(B)中所含的聚丙烯系树脂(b1)为丙烯均聚物及丙烯-乙烯共聚物,所述聚乙烯系树脂(b2)为密度0.940~0.965g/cm3的高密度聚乙烯树脂。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的层叠膜,其中,所述中间层(B)含有熔点大于130℃的高密度聚乙烯树脂作为聚乙烯系树脂(b2)。
4.根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的层叠膜,其中,所述表面层(A)含有80质量%以上的丙烯均聚物。

7.一种包装容器,其特征在于,在开口部具有以聚丙烯系树脂作为主成分的热封面,且该开口部由根据权利要求5或6所述的层压膜所密封。
