Abstract

本发明提出了切屑形成加工用的刀片,其包括: 顶面和底面,在其间延伸的外侧壁(11)刃背区(12)被 分布在整个刀片周围,而递降面(14a,14b)和上述刃 背的内边缘相接。在每一个刀角处设置有长条形的 拱肋(17),其终止于离上述递降面有一定的距离的地 方。二个相隔安置的断屑凸台(22)设置在上述长条 形拱肋的前缘部位,其目的是,在较小切削深度和中 等走刀量的情况下能促使断屑。

Description

本发明涉及金属零件切屑形成加工用的切削刀片,特别涉及和刀杆一起使用的形状为三角形、正方形、菱形平行四边形或其它形状的可换位的切削刀片。这类切削刀片的基本外形包括二个相对设置的顶面和底面和在其间延伸的外侧壁,以及由顶面和外侧壁的交界线形成的切削刃口。刀片的顶面是一个切屑表面,或者说是一种在切削加工时与形成的切屑相接触的表面;上述的外侧壁是与零件有关的排屑表面。
最好的是,这些切削刀片有理想的几何形状,通过控制产生的切屑的几何形状,使金属零件加工中所要求的动力降低到最小值,同时,又能在较宽的切削参数(例如切削深度或走刀速率)范围内控制切屑的形状。
早期已申请专利的典型切削刀片有美国专利3,815,192和3,973,308。在前一个专利中,该切削刀片间隔设置了许多凸台,以便把切屑卷曲区域限制在凸台之间;在后一个专利中,设置了许多凹槽,以致使切屑在没有断屑或几乎没有任何变形的情况下通过或滑过凹槽。
本发明的切削刀片具有一个更加合宜形状的排屑面,能在较宽的切削深度和走刀量的范围内断屑和控制切屑。
附图显示了本发明的切削刀片的具体外形。现在,结合附图,更加详细地描述本发明,可以明显看出本切削刀片的特征和优点。在附图中:
图1表示按本发明的可换位的切削刀片的透视图;
图2表示沿图1中A-A的剖视图;
图3表示沿图1中B-B的剖视图;
图4表示沿图1中C-C的剖视图。
参考附图1,举例说明的切削刀片10是由耐磨的硬质材料(例如硬质合金)制造的。它具有三角形的顶断屑面和底断屑面,由带有圆角的侧壁11连接而成,该侧壁11与包含有顶断屑面和底断屑面的那些平面相垂直。另外,切削刀片10还包括许多切削刃口13,这些刃口是在侧壁与顶断屑面和底断屑面的相接处沿刀片所有的棱边延伸。每一个切削刃口13都与切削刃背区12相接,该刃背区12从切削刃口处向内延伸,并且处在与上述的侧壁11相垂直的平面内。设置刃背区是为了加固处于极度受力区域的切削刃口,减少切屑与切削面的接触,以便延缓刀片月牙洼的磨损。
倾斜面14a从每一个刃背区12的内边缘顶部延伸,与圆角区附近并与所述刀片的底面平行的第一平面底层15a相接。底层15a是长条形的,对称地在角等分线两侧延伸,并与切削刃口13相平行。垂直于上述平面底部15a的刀片圆孔24*3被设置在刀片10的中心部位,用来安装紧锁销,以便把切削刀片紧固在刀杆的凹槽内。
平面底层15a和突起的拱肋17的斜面16相接,拱肋的上表面18是一个平面,其设置高度是等于或大于刃背区12的高度。拱肋17是长条形,被上述的斜面16所围封,而斜面16通过下述的方式朝刀角方向会聚,使得在A-A方向上的角等分线把上述拱肋17分成相等的二半。在刀片中部,在两个相邻角处的拱肋17之间,设置凸台19,其顶平面20为等边三角形,当存在较大的切削块时,凸台19将促使断屑。与拱肋17相似,上述凸台19和平面底层21相接。由于等边三角形中有一个角等分线垂直取向于切削刃口13,故平面底层21在凸台19的前缘部位呈现弯曲形式。
在每一拱肋17的正前缘部位,在其斜面16处,相隔地设置二个凸台22,在凸台22之间又设置平面底层15b,平面底部15b和15a处于同一水平面。凸台22也都是长条形,部分位于斜面16中,相互平行排列,向刀片圆角方向延伸,复盖平面底层15b的整个宽度。然而,凸台22的后背部位23,当其朝向切削刀片的中心延伸时,是分开的。凸台22的每一上表面也均是平面,四周由斜面围封。
凸台22的上表面的设置高度等于或低于环绕刀片延伸的刃背区12的高度。并且,相隔设置的凸台22的顶面的设置高度也等于或低于长条形拱肋17的顶面18的高度。长条形拱肋17的长度比凸台22的长度大好几倍。
由于在长条形拱肋17的正前缘部位相隔设置了二个凸台22,故在轻负荷切削时,即在小切削深度和中等走刀量的情况下,刀屑因撞击凸台而呈现初次断屑。当切削深度和走刀量增加时,对切屑的剪切角将会改变。但是,在切削深度和走刀量增加的情况下,这些相隔设置的凸台22对断屑不会产生不良影响,因为,长条形的拱肋将保证获得适宜的断屑。由于这样的设置,允许在各种切削深度和走刀量下得到较宽范围内的可控断屑。

Claims (6)

1、金属零件切削成形加工用的刀片,具有由耐磨材料制成的多边形体的形状,包括:二个相对应的顶面和底面和在其间延伸的多个外侧壁(11);在顶面、底面中至少一个面与外侧壁的交界处形成的切削刃口(13);与切削刃口相接的、朝刀片中心延伸的刃背区(12);与刃背区内边缘相接的递降面(14a,14b);在递降面附近间隔设置的许多凸台(17,19),其间隔关系与切削刃口有关,以便把切屑卷曲区域限制在凸台之间,其特征在于,从刃背开始的递降面与一个平面底层(15a,15b)相接,而平面底层(15a,15b)又与长条形拱肋(17)的向上倾斜的斜面(16)相接,二个相隔安置的凸台22对称地设置在长条形拱肋的斜面和平面底层之间的相交部位。
2、按权利要求1所述的切削刀片,其特征在于,上述二个相隔安置的凸台(22)是长条形的,大体上为直线状,其方向使得凸台的后背部分沿朝向刀片中心的方向分散。
3、按权利要求1所述的切削刀片,其特征在于,上述两个相隔安置的凸台(22),每一个均被一个平顶面和位于平顶面两侧的递降面所围封,而递降面与上述的平面底层(15a,15b)相接。
4、按权利要求1至3的其中之一所述的切削刀片,其特征在于,沿角等分线方向朝角部延伸的上述长条形拱肋(17)的顶面(18)是一个平面,其设置高度是等于或大于相隔安置的、位于拱肋(17)前缘处的凸台(22)的顶面的高度。
5、按权利要求1至4的其中之一所述的切削刀片,其特征在于,位于长条形拱肋(17)前缘处的、相隔安置的凸台(22)的设置高度是等于或低于沿刀片周围分布的刃背区(12)的高度。
6、按权利要求1至5的其中之一所述的切削刀片,其特征在于,沿每一角等分线方向设置的长条形拱肋(17)的长度比上述相隔安置的凸台(22)的长度长。
