Abstract
利用一个吹塑模吹塑成型一个空心体的装置,至少有两个由热塑性塑料空心体周边壁形成的实心凸缘环是在此吹塑模中通过串列式动模挤压在一起并焊合而成形的,动模在不同的行进速度下行走不同的行程。
Description
本发明涉及一种通过一个在环绕的环形区域具有凹槽的吹塑模吹塑成型一个带有从其周缘壁向外伸出的凸缘环的热塑性塑料空心体的装置,空心体的外环形凸缘、在在容器中间区域水平分开的吹塑模内完成吹塑过程以后、通过跟着活动的动模一起沿轴向朝向固定的定模中段被压实成实心环。
本发明还涉及一种在此装置中吹塑成型空心体的方法和一种按此方法制成的带着塑料盖的塑料空心体。本发明不仅适用于旋转对称的空心体(如桶),而且还适用于诸如具有矩形横截面或方形横截面的罐、筒或瓶状容器这样的六面空心体。
在吹塑模内由空心体壁成形的凸缘环,在闭合的空心体、例如带盖的桶中起滚动环箍或运送环的作用。在六面空心体中,由空心体壁成形的闭合的凸缘突出部对空心体壁也起增强作用。
在可用塑料盖盖合的塑料桶、即所谓的阔颈容器上,凸缘环也是由一个压实的外壳凸缘构成,这个压实的外壳凸缘按照西德专利2544491的介绍设置在桶口下方一个距离的地方,并且,盖在桶口颈上的盖子的边缘贴靠在其上。所谓的阔颈容器一般是指带有一个基本上跟桶的直径一般大的注入开口或盖子的大容积容器或桶(例如装桶容积为220升的)。桶盖边缘凸缘在径向伸展上跟桶的外壳凸缘一致并将堆垛力(Stapelkraft)沿轴向传到桶壁上。在锁合状态中,盖子通过一个一面从上面卡紧盖子边缘、另一面从下面卡紧外壳凸缘的锁紧环(Spannring)固定到桶上。为保证桶子有高的堆垛能力(Stapelbarkeit),盖子做成用硬塑料制成的分开制造的注塑件。
桶子的塑料盖通常用分开的工序作为注塑料预先加工出来。除去分开注塑制造方法以外,这里也要求特别的注塑工具。
塑料桶的边缘凸缘可以用不同的方式方法来制造。公知的方法例如,将一个分开制造出来的注塑边缘凸缘放入一个吹塑成型模具内,使这个边缘凸缘在桶子的制造过程中或吹塑成型过程中焊合在桶的外壁上。
本发明的目的在于在单一的一个吹塑模中、在一个工序内用吹塑成型方法制出桶和盖。
本发明通过一个有这样结构的吹塑成型装置来实现,在这个装置中,在吹塑模定模与第一动模之间沿轴向设置有一个第二个可活动的环状动模。
通过这个带有两个轴向可动的动模的吹塑模的特殊结构,可以在单一的一个吹塑模内,用所谓的串列式动模将桶与盖的制造结合起来,这样就大大地缩短了制造周期并降低了生产成本,消除了额外的设备与工具耗费。
按本发明的方法,桶与盖的结合制造是通过单一的一个吹塑模来实现的,空心体及其所带的盖在一道工序中在该吹塑模中同时吹塑出来并在共同模塑成型后相互分开。对成型后仍成一体的成品,只需将盖及一个位于盖和桶之间的可以去掉的连接环桶体分开就可以使桶体和盖成为独立件。
在附图中,示出了本发明的一个实施例作为示例,其中:
图1 是带有打开的动模与吹塑成型的塑料坯的吹塑模,
图2 是吹塑模在动模沿模具轴线方向移动时的状态,
图3 是吹塑模在动模闭合时的状态,
图4 是从吹塑模成型出来的一个桶-盖单元。
为了便于更好地观察,各附图中只示出有关的剖面部份。
在图1中,在动模1和定模3之间插入了环状动模2,它一面在动模1中、另一面在定模3中、沿模具轴线方向移动。
在动模1打开时,吹塑成型的塑料坯13贴靠在模具的内轮廓上。环状凹槽4通过环状动模2的端面6及动模1的端面8来限定。环状动模2的端面7及定模3的端面9限定另一个环状凹槽5。相应的动定模2、3中的周边壁限定环状凹槽4和5的径向伸展。
当贴靠着的塑料坯仍处在可进行焊合的高温状态时,动模1与环状动模2朝定模3的方向移动。环状动模2的行进速度比动模1的行进速度小,因而其行程也较动模1的行程短。
图2示出吹塑模处在可移动的动模1与2沿着箭头方向走了约一半闭合行程时的状态。此时仅有位于环状凹槽4与5内的塑料坯材料被挤压,一直挤压到其相应于图3示出的最终状态、这些部份内的材料被压实和焊合成实心的凸缘环14与15(图4)时为止。可移动的动模1与2同时到达最终位置。
从图4可见,由模具中取出的桶-盖单元掉转了180°。需补充说明的是,整个模具在纵向上分段,并且两个模具半部可在打开及结束位置进行处理。
在此还有一个中间环形件12将桶11与盖10连接着。这个在桶11与盖10之间的可去掉的连接环12要去掉,使桶11与盖10成为独立件。要去掉的环12未加阴影线,以便更好地标出其伸展情况。
吹塑模也可以设计成使在其中吹塑成型的成品不带此可去掉的中间环12。本发明的桶的特点在于,桶与盖均由同一种塑料材料制成(用一个塑料坯和具有相同的纤维走向)因而也具有同一颜色。
Claims (7)
1、一种用于用一个吹塑模将一个热塑性塑料的空心体吹塑成型的装置,该空心体带有从其周缘壁向外伸出的凸缘环,该吹塑模具有一个成形空心体上的凸缘环的环形凹槽,这个凹槽设计成可通过可相对于吹塑模定模轴向移动的动模来改变,其特征在于,在吹塑模定模(3)与第一动模(1)之间沿轴向设置有一个第二可活动的环状动模(2)。
2、按权利要求1的装置,其特征在于,可动的第二动模(2)在第一动模(1)与定模(3)之间被可移动地导引着,通过环状动模(2)的端面(6)与动模(1)的端面(8)限定环状凹槽(4),而环状动模(2)的端面(7)与定模中段(3)的端面(9)则限定第二凹槽(5),并且在动模(1、2)一起移动时,环状动模(2)的行程比动模(1)的行程短。
3、一种藉助于一个吹塑模制造一个塑料空心体、特别是塑料桶的方法,其特征在于,空心体及其所带的盖在一道工序中在吹塑模中同时吹塑出来,空心体上的外壳凸缘与盖子上的环状凸缘通过首先在两个设在吹塑模内的环状凹槽内将一个塑料坯吹塑、随着进行轴向挤压而成型,在成型后将盖跟空心体分开。
4、按权利要求3的方法,其特征在于,两个设置在吹塑模内的动模按不同的行进速度及不同的行程移动来成形凸缘。
5、按权利要求4的方法,其特征在于,环状动模(2)的行进速度小于动模(1)的行进速度,环状动模(2)的行程短于动模(1)的行程。
6、按权利要求4或5的方法,其特征在于,两个动模以不同行进速度移动,但同时到达它们的终端位置。
7、吹塑成型的桶连同与其配对的、在一道工序中在单一的一个吹塑模中与之一起制造出来的盖,其特征在于,桶(11)在其上部注入开口附近与盖(10)为了藉助于一个锁紧环相互固定位,各具有一个稳固的、基本上径向外伸的环状凸缘(14、15),这两个环状凸缘(14、15)在吹塑模内吹塑成形后紧接着藉助于两个可分开独立移动的动模挤压接合而制成。
