任选地,可提供拉片(用虚线和参考号63指示),比图3中所示的拉片62更靠近电池隔离器70,以便便于从装置10移除电池隔离器70。可替代地,拉片可能位于像电池或阳极侧或到PCB本身的接触之间的任何其它弹簧接触的区域。所有的选项在电子方面都起相同作用,但由于特定的机械应变可以选择。具体而言,为了从壳体12移除隔离器70,需要具有在F1的方向上的分量的力,以便将电池隔离器70从装置10中拉出,如上所述。因此,通过沿粘合盖54的相同侧定位拉片63,作为拉片62,但更靠近隔离器70,用户移除盖54可施加具有在F2的方向上的分量的向上力,但例如在方向F3上更接近隔离器70。因此,在粘合盖54从粘合表面52移除时,在隔离器70的第一部分72从壳体移除之前,隔离器70的第二部分76将与盖54一起升高到粘合表面52的平面上方。在用户继续向上拉动拉片63时,由于施加到拉片63的向上力在隔离器的方向上且具有F1和F3的方向上的分量的事实,有利于移除包括隔离器第二部分76的盖54的部分,从而防止第一部分72在壳体和/或开口74内的扭转和/或卡堵。

本领域的技术人员应理解,除了提供单独的盖部分54a和54b,之外,盖54特定点分割成单独部分可被选择为使得盖部分可被移除,而在装置中不会变得扭曲和/或卡堵,如上面所讨论的。
如上文所述,壳体12中的开口74和盖54中的开口78的特定狭槽大小和宽度可被选择,以便防止隔离器部分72在壳体12内的扭曲和/或卡堵,因此便于其从装置10中移除。优选地,隔离器第一部分72可以是10mm宽30mm长,其中宽度基本上对应于电池直径且长度对应于允许隔离器延伸出壳体12并到达盖54上的长度。开口74可比隔离器第一部分72的宽度宽。例如,开口74可以是约2mm宽。另外,开口74可具有显著大于隔离器第一部分72的厚度的厚度。开口74的厚度可以是例如1mm。
图5示出根据本发明的用于对具有电池电路并将药物注射到用户的电池操作的药物递送装置选择性供电的方法100。根据该方法的操作的结果也被示出。根据方法100,如102所示,电池隔离器处于第一位置,其中其阻断电池电路。作为电池电路被阻断的结果,没有电力提供到装置,如104所示。如106所示,盖从装置的粘合表面移除使装置的紧固机构被启动,如108所示,从而装置可紧固到用户的皮肤。移除粘合盖还会使电池隔离器移动到其中电池电路由隔离器不阻断的第二位置,使得电力被提供到装置,如110所示。任选地,在移除粘合盖连同电池隔离器之后,如果需要,粘合盖连同电池隔离器可能被丢弃。
应注意,从装置10中移除盖54的简单机械动作106导致电池电路17的完成(图4)。这为装置提供了易于使用对装置供电的方法,如本领域的技术人员应理解的。一旦电力已经提供给装置,即可根据需要进行药物的注射。具体而言,一旦电力已经提供到装置,用户即可按下启动按钮28(图1),从而使针从装置突出并使药物被泵出装置,如本文所讨论的。如上所讨论的,装置10的操作可由处理器控制,或者,任选地,装置10可不包括处理器。
如上所讨论的,在其实施方式中,本发明提供了隔离器70,其可附接至粘合表面52的盖54(或盖部分54a和54b),从而为用户提供移除隔离器70的简单机构,同时将装置10紧固到他的皮肤。因此,除了从粘合表面52移除盖54(这是操作装置10所需的动作)之外,也有需要用户进行的任何附加动作。在其实施方式中,本发明因此提供了完成装置的电池电路的简单有效机构。
任选地,除了装置10设置有电池隔离器70之外,装置可额外设置有第二电池隔离器(未示出),由此需要移除两个隔离器70和第二电池隔离器,以便对装置供电。例如,在隔离器70的方面以类似于本文所讨论方式的方式,额外的电池隔离器可附接至阻挡构件34或者与其连续(图1)。因此,可能需要向下按压阻挡构件34的两个动作(图1)和移除粘合盖54(或盖部分54a)的动作(如本文所讨论的)以完成电池电路17(图4),由此对装置10供电。
本领域技术人员应理解,根据本发明的实施方式,可能需要操作装置10所需的动作的任意组合(诸如以下动作:移除粘合盖、按下阻挡构件34、按压启动按钮28和在药瓶室24上关闭盖25)以便对装置10供电。应注意,通过要求这些动作,无论是单独或组合,以便对装置供电(如本文中所讨论的),装置10设置有用于选择地完成电池电路17的简单机构,不需要采取动作以便从装置10移除电池隔离器70,不同于操作装置10所需的操作。
可预料,在从该应用成熟的专利的寿命期间,许多相关的电池隔离器将被开发并且术语电池隔离器的范围是指包括所有这些新的先验技术。
术语“包括”、“具有”和它们的结合是指“包括但不限于”。
术语“由...组成”是指“包括并限于”。

Claims (26)
1.一种用于对电池操作的药物递送装置选择性供电的方法,所述装置具有电池和电池电路,所述方法包括:
设置被布置在第一位置中的电池隔离器,所述隔离器在所述第一位置接触电池端子以阻断所述电池电路,使得没有电力提供给所述装置;和
启动所述装置的紧固机构,所述紧固机构被配置为将所述装置紧固到用户的皮肤,所述启动使得所述电池隔离器移动到所述电池电路未被所述隔离器阻断的第二位置,使得电力被提供给所述装置。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中,所述紧固机构包括粘合表面;以及
所述启动包括从所述粘合表面移除保护盖。
3.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其中,所述设置包括将预先附接的隔离器设置到所述保护盖。
4.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其中,所述设置包括将所述隔离器设置为所述保护盖的延伸部。
5.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其中,所述保护盖包括被配置为促使从所述粘合表面移除所述保护盖的拉片;以及
其中,所述启动包括拉动所述拉片以从所述粘合表面移除所述保护盖。
6.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其中,所述保护盖包括被配置为覆盖所述粘合表面的单个部分;以及
其中,所述启动包括移除所述保护盖以暴露整个所述粘合表面。
7.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其中,所述保护盖包括至少两个部分,每个部分被配置为覆盖所述粘合表面的相应部分;
所述移除包括移除所述至少两个部分中的特定的一个部分。
8.根据权利要求7所述的方法,其中,所述隔离器附接至所述至少两个部分中的特定的一个部分。
9.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中,所述装置包括电池室,并且其中,当所述隔离器处于所述第一位置时,所述隔离器至少部分地布置在所述电池室中与至少一个电池触点中的至少一个相邻。
10.根据权利要求9所述的方法,其中,当所述隔离器处于所述第一位置时,所述隔离器至少部分地布置在所述至少一个电池触点与位于所述电池室中的所述电池的对应电池端子之间;以及
所述启动包括从所述至少一个电池触点与位于所述电池室中的所述电池的对应电池端子之间移除所述隔离器。
11.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中,所述电池电路至少包括第一电池和第二电池,所述设置包括将所述隔离器设置在所述第一位置中,所述隔离器在所述第一位置防止所述第一电池的电池触点与所述第二电池的电池触点电接触;
所述启动使所述隔离器移动到所述第二位置,在所述第二位置,所述第一电池的电池触点电接触所述第二电池的电池触点。
12.根据权利要求11所述的方法,其中,所述装置包括电池室,并且其中,当所述隔离器处于所述第一位置时,所述隔离器至少部分地布置在所述电池室中与所述第一电池的电池触点和所述第二电池的电池触点中的至少一个相邻。
13.根据权利要求12所述的方法,其中,当所述隔离器处于所述第一位置时,所述隔离器至少部分地布置在所述第一电池的电池触点和所述第二电池的电池触点之间的所述电池室中;
所述启动包括从所述第一电池的所述电池触点和所述第二电池的所述电池触点之间移除所述隔离器。
14.根据权利要求1所述的方法,所述方法进一步包括:
设置布置在第一位置中的附加电池隔离器,所述附加隔离器在所述第一位置接触电池端子以阻断所述电池电路,使得没有电力提供给所述装置;和
启动所述装置的阻挡构件,所述阻挡构件被配置为防止针从所述装置突出,所述启动所述阻挡构件使得所述附加电池隔离器移动到所述电池电路未被所述附加隔离器阻断的第二位置,使得当所述紧固机构被启动时,电力被提供给所述装置。
15.一种选择性供电的电池操作的药物递送装置,所述装置具有电池和电池电路,所述装置包括:
选择性可移除的隔离器,所述隔离器布置在第一位置中,所述隔离器在所述第一位置接触电池端子以阻断所述电池电路,使得没有电力提供给所述装置;
所述隔离器,被配置为可移动到所述电池电路未被所述隔离器阻断的第二位置,使得电力被提供到所述装置;和
紧固机构,被配置为将所述装置紧固到用户的皮肤,所述紧固机构包括选择性可移除部分,所述电池隔离器从所述可移除部分延伸。
16.根据权利要求15所述的装置,所述装置包括壳体,所述壳体包括所述隔离器在处于所述第一位置时从中延伸的开口。
17.根据权利要求16所述的装置,其中,所述开口包括狭槽。
18.根据权利要求16所述的装置,其中,所述隔离器通过所述开口从所述壳体的外部延伸。
19.根据权利要求16所述的装置,还包括所述紧固机构上的保护盖,其中,所述隔离器通过所述开口从所述保护盖延伸。
20.根据权利要求19所述的装置,其中,所述紧固机构包括粘合表面。
21.根据权利要求19所述的装置,其中,所述隔离器预先附接至所述保护盖。
22.根据权利要求19所述的装置,其中,所述隔离器是所述保护盖的延伸部。
23.根据权利要求19所述的装置,其中,所述保护盖包括被配置为促使从所述紧固机构移除所述保护盖的拉片。
24.根据权利要求19所述的装置,其中,所述保护盖包括被配置为覆盖整个所述紧固机构的单个部分。
25.根据权利要求19所述的装置,其中,所述保护盖包括至少两个部分,每个部分被配置为覆盖所述紧固机构的相应部分。
26.根据权利要求25所述的装置,其中,所述至少两个盖部分中的每一个包括被配置为促使从所述紧固机构移除所述盖部分的拉片。
