本发明涉及通过粘胶方法获得的再生纤维素纤维在阻燃产品中的用途。
阻燃粘胶纤维有许多应用领域,像例如在防护服、床垫填充物、室内材料等中并提供一般的安全。
已经知道各种各样的阻燃粘胶纤维:
一方面已知,粘胶纤维通过掺入聚硅酸而具有阻燃性。但是,聚硅酸的掺入导致形成硬而脆的纤维,这些纤维虽然适合于非织造物,但不适用于纺织应用。
通过掺入含磷添加剂获得的粘胶纤维以商标名Lenzing FR

被投放市场。但是,为了用含磷添加剂获得足够的阻燃性,必须采用高的添加程度。因为添加剂成本高而造成了纤维最终价格高昂。
也存在许多关于事后使纤维素纤维具备阻燃性的建议,就是说,涂覆已制成的纤维,像例如Proban(THPC)和Pyrovatex

不过,这种事后处理的织物/纤维只有有限的耐洗性。通过使用的交联化学品产生残余量的危害健康的甲醛。此外,交联反应造成纤维/织物的脆化和硬化。
US3734683描述了纤维素纤维的阻燃效果,该纤维素纤维通过制备羧基纤维素具有较高的羧基基团含量。根据该文献,粘胶纤维在复杂的方法中用二氧化氮氧化并且随后后处理。该方法无法以经济有利的纤维制造工艺来投入使用。此外,上述氧化将导致纤维结构受损和缺乏可加工性。
本发明的任务在于提供一种成本有利的且有效的阻燃纤维,它可以在常规纺织工艺中良好地加工。
该任务通过在阻燃产品中使用加入有羧甲基纤维素的再生纤维素纤维解决。
在从属权利要求中列举了优选实施方式。
本发明的详细说明
令人吃惊地表明,加入有羧甲基纤维素(CMC)的再生纤维素纤维起到了有效阻燃作用,并且不仅可以相对有利地来制造,而且可以良好地被加工。
本专业技术人员将在纤维中加入羧甲基纤维素的措施理解为,(在纤维再生后)在未衍生化纤维素的基质中加入CMC。与将CMC施加到已制得的纤维上不同,这尤其能通过将CMC纺入到纺丝粘胶中实现。
含有羧甲基纤维素(CMC)含量的粘胶纤维是已知的。在此涉及混合纤维,它通过将羧甲基纤维素纺入到粘胶纺丝原液(Viskosespinnmasse)中获得。这样的纤维也商业生产(US4,199,367A,US4,289,824A)。
例如,为此按照常规方法生产粘胶纺丝原液。在纺丝紧前面,在纺丝原液中加入8-12重量%的羧甲基纤维素(CMC)溶液,从而得到基于未衍生化纤维素计的期望的掺入量。后处理和干燥按照常规方法进行。
基于未衍生化纤维素计,加入到再生纤维素纤维中的羧甲基纤维素的含量优选为5重量%-50重量%,尤其优选为15重量%-40重量%,最优选为20重量%-30重量%。
羧甲基纤维素可以是市售产品,其具有0.6-1.2,优选0.65-0.85的取代度DS和30-800mPas、优选为50-100mPas的粘度(2%的溶液,25℃)。
按照本发明所采用的含有CMC的再生纤维素纤维以下也被称为“粘胶/CMC混合纤维”。
粘胶/CMC混合纤维的纤维纤度优选为0.5分特至8分特,特别优选1.3分特至6分特。
按照本发明所用的粘胶/CMC混合纤维的纤维长度可以为2mm至80mm,尤其取决于应用领域。2-20mm的纤维长度尤其适用于湿法纺织工艺(Wetlaidprozess),20-80mm的纤维长度适用于梳理工艺。
粘胶/CMC混合纤维优选含有其它阻燃添加剂。该其它添加剂尤其可选自含卤素添加剂、含磷添加剂、铝盐和镁盐和聚硅酸。该其它添加剂可以按照本身已知的方式通过纺入到粘胶纺丝原液而被加入纤维中(例如在含磷添加剂例如Exolit

5060的情况下),或者被之后施加到纤维上(像例如在铝盐的碱性溶液的情况下)。
与粘胶纤维或者由纯的粘胶纤维制成的产品不同,根据本发明所用的粘胶/CMC混合纤维或者含有它的织物或非织造物在点燃后没有继续燃烧。相反,火焰直接熄灭并且纤维仅仅继续无焰燃烧(glimmen)。基于未衍生化纤维素计的20重量%以上的CMC的加入效果已经特别突出。
不过,与几种已知的阻燃粘胶纤维不同,按照本发明所用的粘胶/CMC混合纤维在其强度值和伸长率方面和在其弹性方面与常见的粘胶纤维没有显著区别并因此可与常见的粘胶纤维完全一样地加工。
被用于本发明的纤维的添加剂(CMC)在健康方面毫无问题并且甚至被用作食品添加剂。没有发生纤维的脆化和硬化。阻燃效果是不受限地耐洗的。
与此相应,本发明还涉及包含加入有羧甲基纤维素的再生纤维素纤维的阻燃产品,。
根据本发明的阻燃产品的特征优选在于,基于未衍生化纤维素计,在纤维素纤维中加入的羧甲基纤维素的含量为5重量%-50重量%,优选15重量%-40重量%,特别优选为20重量%-30重量%。
根据本发明的阻燃产品优选可以包含10%-100%含量的粘胶/CM℃混合纤维。
根据本发明的阻燃产品优选选自服装、尤其是防护服,家用织物、尤其是床垫,汽车织物,过滤材料和用于建筑和汽车领域的绝缘材料。
实施例:
按照已知的方式生产出粘胶/CMC混合短纤维(Mischstapelfaser),其基于未衍生化纤维素计含有0%(零样品)、12重量%、20重量%和30重量%的CMC。这些纤维被切断成40mm的短纤长度。
由该纤维样品,制造出各为10克的转子环(Rotorring)。这些转子环随后被打开并且通过棉条砑光机(Tamponkalander)施压。所生产出的带具有在约5mm的厚度下约238g/m2(206-260g/m2)的单位面积重量。
为了进行燃烧试验,裁切出8x2cm尺寸的试样。样品被水平夹紧或竖直夹紧,并且样品自由端用本生灯点燃给定的时间。
结果:
常规的粘胶纤维(0%的CMC):
样品在1秒点火时间内已经着火并且随后以熊熊火焰继续燃烧,直到彻底燃尽。
含有12%或20%的CMC的粘胶纤维(根据本发明):
样品在直接接触燃烧器火焰时燃烧。但在拿开火焰后,样品马上熄灭(自熄灭)。在一些情况下,在拿开火焰后,从样品中松散伸出的个别纤维还在表面上燃烧。
点火时间在1s-10s变化。所有样品在拿开火焰后立即熄灭。只是因为较长时间接触燃烧器火焰而增大了燃烧量。
所有样品在熄火后无焰燃烧。因而,在所有情况中都出现样品缓慢完全灰化。

Claims (10)

1.加入有羧甲基纤维素的再生纤维素纤维在阻燃产品中的用途。
2.根据权利要求1的用途,其特征在于,基于未衍生化纤维素计,在所述纤维素纤维中所加入的羧甲基纤维素的含量为5重量%-50重量%,优选为15重量%-40重量%,尤其优选为20重量%-30重量%。
3.根据权利要求1或2的用途,其特征在于,该纤维素纤维的纤维纤度为0.5分特至8分特,优选1.3分特至6分特。
4.根据前述权利要求之一的用途,其特征在于,该纤维素纤维的纤维长度为2mm至80mm。
5.根据前述权利要求之一的用途,其特征在于,该纤维含有其它阻燃添加剂。
6.根据权利要求5的用途,其特征在于,该其它阻燃添加剂选自含卤素添加剂、含磷添加剂、铝盐和镁盐和聚硅酸。
7.阻燃产品,其包含加入有羧甲基纤维素的再生纤维素纤维。
8.根据权利要求7的阻燃产品,其特征在于,基于未衍生化纤维素计,在所述纤维素纤维中所加入的羧甲基纤维素的含量为5重量%-50重量%,优选为15重量%-40重量%,特别优选为20重量%-30重量%。
9.根据权利要求7或8之一的阻燃产品,其特征在于,其包含10%-100%含量的再生纤维素纤维。
10.根据权利要求7至9之一的阻燃产品,其选自服装、尤其是防护服,家用织物、尤其是床垫,汽车织物、过滤材料和用于建筑和汽车领域的绝缘材料。
