Abstract
本发明提供了一种气囊模块,通过对乘客提供尽可能长的支撑,而最大程度地保护乘客的安全。所述气囊模块包括:气囊垫;充气机,在车辆受到撞击时向气囊垫注入气体,从而气囊垫充气并展开;以及外罩,用于罩住展开前被折叠的气囊垫和充气机,其中,当气囊垫从外罩展开时,气囊垫形成由分隔物界定的硬性腔室和软性腔室,所述硬性腔室由充气机供气,并被安置在气囊垫的前上方,所述软性腔室由该硬性腔室通过该分隔物上形成的连接孔供气,并被安置在气囊垫的后部,在软性腔室内形成有排气孔,用于将气体排向外界。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种气囊模块,特别涉及一种针对车辆后座上的乘客的车顶气囊模块。
背景技术
根据安装位置的不同,气囊模块可以分为多种类型。在这方面,气囊模块的类型包括方向盘气囊,仪表盘气囊,车顶气囊等等,对于每一种类型,又引进了各种各样的气囊模块。
图1示出了包含气囊垫110的气囊模块100的示例。参见图1,车顶气囊模块100安装在车辆的车顶10的内表面上,用于保护车辆的后座20上的乘客30(图1中画了一个假人,用于代替真的乘客来测试气囊充气情况)。
当指示车辆遭受撞击的信号被检测到后,安装在车顶气囊模块100的外罩120内部的充气机(未示出)向气囊垫110注入气体,从而气囊垫110被展开。气囊垫110包括第一腔室111,其展开时呈直角三角形状,斜边朝向前下方(图1中X轴和-Y轴之间的方向),还包括第二腔室112,其从第一腔室111后部(-X轴的方向)突出展开。
当车辆受到撞击时,无需等到头部31向前急拉,第二腔室112就会尽快的向后方突出用以支撑乘客30的头部31。然而,由于第二腔室112和第一腔室111之间有大的开口112a,因此第一腔室111和第二腔室112并不会起不同的作用,哪怕是暂时的,以更有效地保护乘客。
随着来自充气机的气体减少和气囊垫110受到乘客30的头部31的挤压,展开后的气囊垫110内的气体通过排气孔111a向外界排尽,气囊垫110内部的气压,特别是第一腔室111内部的气压下降。
在上面所描述的气囊模块100中,第一腔室111的形状是一个向下延伸的直角三角形,排气孔111a位于第一腔室111的前面,外力由乘客30向前(X方向)施加到第一腔室111上。因此,第一腔室111前面部分(相当于直角三角形斜边的部分)的中间部分F,靠近排气孔111a,在内部压力下降时会被折叠,这样乘客30就无法被支撑足够长的时间。因此,即使气囊垫110在车辆受到撞击时展开,乘客,特别是没有系上安全带的乘客可能不会得到充分的保护。
发明内容
技术问题:
本发明所要解决的技术问题是现有技术中的气囊模块不能充分和有效地保护乘客。
技术方案:
本发明提供了一种气囊模块,通过尽可能长时间地对乘客提供支撑,以最大程度地保证乘客的安全。
气囊模块包括:
气囊垫;
充气机,在车辆受到撞击时向气囊垫注入气体,从而气囊垫充气并展开;以及
外罩,用于罩住展开前被折叠的气囊垫以及充气机,
其中,当气囊垫从外罩展开时,气囊垫形成由分隔物界定的硬性腔室和软性腔室,
该硬性腔室由充气机供气,并被安置在气囊垫的前上方,
该软性腔室由该硬性腔室通过形成在该分隔物上的连接孔供气,并被安置在气囊垫的后面;以及
在软性腔室内形成有排气孔,用于将气体排向外界。
本发明的有益效果:
此处披露的本发明的气囊模块可以对乘客进行充分和有效地保护。

具体实施方式
下面,参考图2-图4,对本发明的实施例做详细描述。
图2为本发明一个实施例的包含气囊垫210的气囊模块200的侧视图,显示的是气囊垫200展开后的状态。参见图2,本实施例的气囊模块200包括外罩220,充气机(未示出),以及气囊垫210。
外罩220罩住展开前被折叠的气囊垫210以及充气机,并被安装在车辆车顶10的内表面。当车辆受到撞击时,外罩220的底部可能会因气囊垫210的充气而被打开或撕裂,从而气囊垫210有可能从外罩220中伸展出去。
充气机位于外罩220的内部。由于充气机的结构是本领域技术人员公知的,这里不再提供对它的详细描述。一般地,充气机从检测车辆碰撞的传感器接收信号,并迅速将充气机中的固体材料蒸发。气囊垫被固体材料蒸发所产生的气体充气并伸展开。
通常情况下,气囊垫210被折叠存放在外罩220内,且在接收到指示车辆遭受撞击的信号后被气体充气并展开。当气囊垫210从外罩220中伸展出来后,气囊垫210形成硬性腔室211和软性腔室212,其中硬性腔室211和软性腔室212通过分隔物213而彼此分开。硬性腔室211和软性腔室212可以被分开制造,然后再组装在一起。可选地,气囊垫210的外盖可以制造为单个主体,然后将分隔物213缝纫在气囊垫210的内部。
通过充气机将气体直接提供到硬性腔室211中,当气囊垫210被气体展开时,硬性腔室211位于气囊垫210的前上方(图2中X轴方向和Y轴方向之间的方向)。此外,气体通过形成于分隔物213上的连接孔213a,从硬性腔室211提供到软性腔室212中,当气囊垫210被气体展开时,软性腔室位于气囊垫210的后部(图2中-X轴的方向)。提供至软性腔室212的气体,随着软性腔室212受到车辆后座20上的乘客30的头部31的挤压,通过排气孔212a排向外界。
当气体从充气机直接提供至硬性腔室211时,硬性腔室211没有开向外界的孔。因此,即使当气囊垫210展开或者乘客30挤压软性腔室212时,硬性腔室211仍会维持内部高压。因此,硬性腔室211即使在气囊垫210被乘客30挤压时,仍能够维持其形状和位置。
当展开后,硬性腔室211的位置和形状受到分隔物213的限制,因此,在气囊垫210展开时,分隔物213可以被设置为从气囊垫210的前下方(X轴方向和-Y轴方向之间的方向)延伸至气囊垫210的后上方(-X轴方向和Y轴方向之间的方向)。
当车辆受到猛烈碰撞,而乘客30并没有系安全带时,乘客30有向前猛冲的趋势(在X轴和Y轴之间的方向)。在这里,当按照上面描述构造的气囊垫210的硬性腔室211维持其位置和形状时,它不仅可防止乘客30与车辆的车顶10的内表面或者气囊模块200的外罩220相撞,而且还可防止乘客30越过外罩220猛冲至前面的座位上。因此,乘客30的安全得到了显著的提升。本发明的优点不可能从如图1所示的常规的气囊垫110中预见。
排气孔212a设置为使得软性腔室212内的气体随着软性腔室212受到乘客30的头部31的挤压,而通过排气孔212a向外界排尽。因此,软性腔室212可以适当的变形,以保护乘客30,特别是乘客30的颈部。然而,当乘客30过度挤压软性腔室212时,不仅软性腔室212的内部压力下降,硬性腔室211也有可能随着硬性腔室211内的气体持续通过连接孔213a和排气孔212a向外界排尽而发生变形。
在这些情况下,图3和图4示出的阻挡层213b即可用来保护乘客30。阻挡层213b通过连接孔213a的软性腔室212侧的栓绳213c松散地连接至分隔物213。
当气囊垫210展开时,阻挡层213b受到硬性腔室211内气体的压力,从连接孔213a处分离,因此,气体可以转移进入软性腔室212(参见图3)。
此外,在气囊垫210展开后,当乘客30向软性腔室212施加过多的压力时,由于来自乘客30的压力,软性腔室212内部的压力短暂地变得比硬性腔室211内的气压更高。在极端情况下,乘客30的身体直接挤压阻挡层213b(而此时界定软性腔室212的层位于在乘客和阻挡层之间),从而阻挡层213b堵住了连接孔213a。因此,气体便无法从软性腔室212转移到硬性腔室211内,至少暂时不会(参见图4)。
因此,由于连接孔213a至少暂时被堵住,硬性腔室211的内部压力便能够维持较长的时间。换句话说,硬性腔室211的位置和形状可以维持更长的时间,因此乘客的进一步的安全便可得到保证。
虽然图2中显示排气孔212a设置在软性腔室212的下侧,排气孔212a也可根据特殊的设计目的而形成在不同的位置上;例如软性腔室212的上侧。
虽然本发明通过参考它的示例性实施例而得以具体地显示和描述,本领域的普通技术人员需要明白的是,在不脱离由所附的权利要求限定的本发明的精神和范围的基础上,还可对其形式和细节做出多种变化。
工业实用性:
本发明的气囊模块,可以通过对乘客提供尽可能长的支撑,而最大程度地保护乘客的安全。
Claims (3)
1.一种气囊模块,包括:
气囊垫;
充气机,当车辆受到撞击时向气囊垫注入气体,从而气囊垫充气和展开;以及
外罩,用于将展开前被折叠的气囊垫以及充气机罩住,
其中,当气囊垫从外罩展开时,该气囊垫形成由分隔物界定的硬性腔室和软性腔室,
该硬性腔室由充气机供气,并被安置在气囊垫的前上方,在此,乘客乘坐时所面向的方向为前方方向,乘客乘坐时背对的方向为后方方向,
该软性腔室由该硬性腔室通过形成在分隔物上的连接孔供气,并被安置在气囊垫的后部,以及
在该软性腔室上形成有排气孔,用于将气体排向外界,
所述的气囊模块还包括阻挡层,其通过位于连接孔的软性腔室侧的栓绳,松散地连接至所述分隔物,
当气囊展开时,受气压的作用,所述阻挡层从连接孔分离,从而气体能够从所述硬性腔室转移进入所述软性腔室,以及
在所述气囊垫展开后,当软性腔室受到乘客挤压时,所述阻挡层堵住所述连接孔,从而气体至少暂时无法从所述软性腔室转移进所述硬性腔室。
2.如权利要求1所述的气囊模块,其特征在于,当所述气囊垫展开时,所述分隔物被设置成从所述气囊垫的前下方延伸到该气囊垫的后上方。
3.如权利要求1所述的气囊模块,其特征在于,所述排气孔形成于所述软性腔室的下侧。
