防腐剂

增稠剂

所述组合物中的增稠剂的量取决于组合物的所需粘度。所述组合物优选具有足够低以经由发泡器例如气喷发泡器泵送和允许发泡的粘度。
额外功能性成分
额外功能性成分可用来改进组合物的有效性。此类额外功能性成分的某些非限制性实例包括皮肤感觉改进剂、抗氧化剂、香料、染料和它们的混合物。
皮肤感觉改进剂

所述组合物可以包括香料的混合物,包括天然和合成香料的混合物。香料可以按至多大约5wt%,优选大约0.01-大约3wt%,大约0.05-大约1wt%,大约0.1-大约0.2wt%的量存在于所述组合物中。
染料
所述组合物可以非必要地包括染料。染料的实例包括任何水溶性或产品可溶性染料,任何FD & C或D & C批准的染料。染料可以按至多大约0.5wt%,优选大约0.00001-大约0.1wt%,大约0.0001-大约0.01wt%,大约0.0001-大约0.0005wt%的量存在。
组合物

在一些实施方案中,所述组合物包括少于大约10%,少于大约5%或少于大约1%的任何额外表面活性剂。额外表面活性剂的使用可以受限制,因为选择的聚二甲基硅氧烷表面活性剂能够产生和维持泡沫,而无需额外表面活性剂的帮助。
在一些实施方案中,所述组合物除PEG-8、PEG-10或PEG-12直链聚二甲基硅氧烷表面活性剂之外还包括少于大约10%,少于大约5%或少于大约1%的任何额外硅氧烷材料。
在一些实施方案中,所述组合物包括少于大约10%,少于大约5%或少于大约1%的任何泡沫稳定剂。
在一些实施方案中,所述组合物可以不含或基本上不含额外表面活性剂、额外硅氧烷材料或泡沫稳定剂。在一些实施方案中,所述组合物可以不含或基本上不含含氟表面活性剂。
所述组合物可以作为水稀液、结构化液体或乳液提供。所述组合物优选作为即用型(ready to use)组合物提供,这是指所述组合物按可以在不需要首先稀释它的情况下施用的方式提供。
包装和分配器
所述组合物可以按各种包装尺寸提供。包装尺寸的实例包括1.5oz、500ml和1升瓶子。选择的包装优选具有泵压头发泡器。可商购的泵压头发泡器的实例包括得自Rexam PLC(London,England,以前是Airspray)的F2发泡器,和得自Rieke Corporation(Auburn,Indiana)的RF-17 Palm发泡器。

实施例
实施例1-硅氧烷表面活性剂筛选
实施例1显示各种硅氧烷表面活性剂和它们产生稳定泡沫的能力。使用以下泡沫高度筛选程序评价硅氧烷表面活性剂的发泡能力。原料溶液制备:制备由75.6%乙醇SDA 40B(190 proof,99.5%活性)和24.4%水组成的溶液。
样品制备:向20mL小瓶中称量大约0.35g硅氧烷表面活性剂和9.65g原料溶液。然后混合该溶液直到获得均匀溶液。
泡沫高度筛选:为了筛选每种溶液的泡沫高度,将该制备溶液的小部分(~1mL)投入具有气喷发泡泵压头的2oz瓶子,冲洗周围,并摈弃。在瓶子冲洗之后,然后将样品制剂的残留内容物转移到具有气喷发泡泵压头的2oz瓶子中。起动加注该发泡泵压头直到液体或泡沫经由该发泡器头产生。进行至多三次附加的泵送以确保已经经由该泵抽空初始溶液。在起动加注该泵之后,进行三次附加的泵送,将材料引导至20mL玻璃小瓶中。立即使用尺子测量液相线上方的泡沫的高度(毫米)。再重复该过程一次并将两个泡沫高度测量值平均。结果示于表1中。

表1显示仅直链聚二甲基硅氧烷能够产生大于20mm的泡沫高度。表1中的具有大于20mm的泡沫高度的示例性聚二甲基硅氧烷表面活性剂包括得自Siltech的Silsurf DI-1010、得自GE Silicone的Silsoft 810和得自Momentive的Silsoft 870。
实施例2-泡沫高度相比硅氧烷表面活性剂浓度
实施例2测定聚二甲基硅氧烷表面活性剂浓度对泡沫高度的影响。对于这一实施例,使用以下试验测量泡沫高度:

Claims (21)
1.非气溶胶发泡性抗微生物组合物,包含:
a)包括PEG-8至PEG-12直链聚二甲基硅氧烷表面活性剂的具有大于20mm的平均泡沫高度的发泡剂;
b)大约50-大约90wt%的C2-C4醇;和
c)水
其中存在少于大约5wt%的额外表面活性剂。
2.权利要求1的抗微生物组合物,还包含大约0.01-大约20wt%的皮肤调理剂。
3.权利要求2的抗微生物组合物,其中所述皮肤调理剂选自乙基己基甘油、羟乙基脲、脲、泛醇、甘油、肉豆蔻酸异丙酯、丙二醇、生育酚乙酸酯、聚季铵盐-11和它们的混合物。
4.权利要求1的抗微生物组合物,还包含选自皮肤感觉改进剂、抗氧化剂、香料、染料和它们的混合物的额外成分。
