背景技术
透明而透明的外观成为个人护理和化妆产品的重要产品特性,这是因为消费者将其视作纯度、柔和、干净、新鲜、明亮的属性并且常常具有清凉的性能。透明的产品广泛地用于成人和婴儿的个人护理产品中。结合了透明包装的透明外观的另一项益处在于消费者能方便地观察和检查产品。一种类型的个人护理产品是有广泛用途的乳剂,例如清洁剂、护理产品(例如保湿霜)、活性成分的涂抹剂(例如防晒产品、抗皱产品)等。
由US 5,306,485得到的防晒组合物含有局部载体和遮光剂成分,其中遮光剂由氰双苯丙烯酸辛酯、二氧化钛和其它防晒活性成分构成。局部载体可以是,例如水包油乳剂。这些防晒组合物改善了保护皮肤防止紫外线辐射的作用。然而,防晒组合物本质上含有各种发色团,从而无法获得透明而透明的防晒组合物。此外,按照US 5,306,485,乳化剂的选择要求不高,这就可使用各种非离子、阳离子、阴离子和两性离子乳化剂。
US 5,270,461披露了乙氧基化的甲基葡糖苷和丙氧基化的甲基葡糖苷的苯甲酸酯适于用作泡沫改性剂、润肤剂、调理剂和澄清剂。这两种酯类在保持澄清时对水/丙二醇/甘油混合物具有亲和力。US 5,270,461的两种苯甲酸酯类应能增溶亲水性和疏水性物质。然而,这种酯类或其它酯类的进一步应用未见披露。US 5,270,461仅明确指出一种含有月桂基硫酸铵、椰油基异硫代硫酸钠、季鎓75(quaternium 75)、椰油酰胺DEA、丙二醇和水的香波。
EP 0392 426B1披露了一种以凝胶化的分散剂为形式的洗手液和沐浴露,该洗液不含有一般存在于洗液乳剂中的可能会刺激皮肤的乳化剂。这种不含乳化剂的透明的凝胶分散剂形式的洗手液和沐浴露含有凝胶化的水系统,一种交联的疏水共聚物和颗粒状载体粉末物质至少一种活性成分。油相的活性成分被捕获在聚合物粉末载体中,因此不直接与水相混合。粉末载体物质自身构成水和油相的界面。油相仅在涂敷和搓进皮肤时才释放以提供常规的奶油状洗液乳剂。EP 0392 426B1的颗粒状聚合物载体是高度交联的聚甲基丙烯酸酯的聚合物。为更加改善凝胶化水系统的透明度,需要额外的螯合剂。
现今技术中市售可得的透明的乳剂是含有特定的乳化剂的油包水型制剂。乳化剂是降低制剂表面张力和乳化水相和油相形成乳剂所需的表面活性成分。形成透明乳剂的乳化剂的选择十分有限。一般用于透明乳剂的乳化剂是以下类型的硅氧烷乳化剂:具有PEG和/或PPG链的聚二甲基硅氧烷的聚合物。
典型的乳化剂是属于表面活性剂类的成分,该表面活性剂具有亲水和亲脂部分并能用其亲脂部分封闭油滴或反之能用其亲水部分封闭水滴。然而,由于其表面活性,标准的乳化剂可与皮肤脂类相互作用,籍此导致皮肤刺激。因此,虽然有一些乳化剂比其它的刺激程度低一些,标准乳化剂已知具有特定的刺激皮肤的可能性。此外,标准乳化剂已知会在皮肤上产生一种未干透和粘的感觉并且妨碍制剂中的亲脂类物质与皮肤的相互作用。因此,需要在化妆产品中降低或者甚至省去典型的乳化剂。
开发所谓的电位阻稳定剂是用于通过不同于标准乳化剂的机理制造乳剂。这些电位阻稳定剂是具有极性官能团的水溶性或水可溶胀的聚合物。典型的电位阻稳定剂是多聚羧酸,特别是丙烯酸或其衍生物的均聚物或共聚物。在这种类型的乳剂中,油相被捕获于电位阻稳定剂的聚合物网格中。
发现以电位阻稳定剂为基础能制造透明的乳剂是非常出人意料的。考虑到能制造透明乳剂的以硅氧烷为基础的乳化剂十分有限的事实,使用电位阻稳定剂也可用于制造透明的乳剂并不显而易见。
发明概述
本发明涉及透明的水包油乳剂,含有:
(a)水相;
(b)含有硅油并任选与另一种油性组分混合的油相;
(c)电位阻稳定剂;和
(d)多羟基化合物和/或羟酸。
其它的油性组分可选自天然油、脂肪酸酯、单酸甘油酯醚、甘油二酯醚和甘油三酯醚(ethers mono,di-and triglycerides)、环状、支链或直链烃类、直链或支链脂肪醇(格而伯特醇类)及其混合物。
电位阻稳定剂特别是聚丙烯酸酯和烷化聚丙烯酸酯的共聚物。
多羟基化合物特别是多羟基烷烃或多羟基环烷烃。
本发明特定的实施方案提供了一种透明的水包油乳剂,含有:
(a)50%到98%的水相;
(b)2%到70%的油相,含有0.1%到20%的硅油(w/w,相对于乳剂总重量),并且可任选与另一种油性组分混合;
(c)0.05%到2%的电位阻稳定剂;和
(d)20%到60%的多羟基化合物和/或羟酸。
表面活性剂含量低的本发明乳剂是特别令人感兴趣的,尤其是含有低于5%的表面活性剂的乳剂是更令人感兴趣的,再好一些的是低于2%,还要再好一些的是低于1%。本发明乳剂特定的实施方案基本不含表面活性剂。基本不含指没有或表面活性剂的含量不足以乳化乳剂中的油相。
发明详述
文中所用的术语“透明”指当用在典型的消费产品中时乳剂是透明或基本透明的,这使得人们可方便地观察其后的物体(当装在透明的容器或包装中时)。特别是本发明的制剂具有T>95%的透明度(T%作为测量单位)。透明度可用紫外/可见双射线分光光度计在800nm波长处测量。

本发明的乳剂含有硅油。后者是经常用在个人护理制剂中的常规油的优秀替代品。使用含有油的制剂经常会导致使用者滑腻、粘性、油腻或包被的感觉。硅油具有常规油的益处而另一方面又没有这些不良的特性从而给使用者带来柔和、光滑和亮丽的触觉感受。因此,近年来硅油用在许多个人护理制剂中。非挥发性和挥发性的硅油均可用,后者比挥发性硅油更优选。非挥发性硅油可提供一种持久的触觉感受并易于在皮肤表面形成稳定的油层。如果需要,挥发性硅油也可结合非挥发性硅油使用以赋予期望的审美特性,但乳剂应当优选含有充足的非挥发性硅油以提供皮肤屏障层。
具体的硅油是,例如线形或环状硅氧烷,特别是线形或环状的二烷基或烷芳基聚硅氧烷。合适的线形硅油具有50到1,000cPs的粘度、200到500cPs的粘度,特别是约350cPs。线形或环状的二烷基或烷芳基聚硅氧烷包括,例如二烷基聚硅氧烷(也称作聚烷基硅氧烷)、烷芳基聚硅氧烷(或聚烷芳基硅氧烷)和聚醚-硅氧烷-共聚物。特别合适的硅油包括三甲基硅氧烷封端的二甲基聚硅氧烷(也称作二甲基聚硅氧烷、聚二甲基硅氧烷或二甲基硅油)、甲基苯基聚硅氧烷、甲基苯基硅氧烷和二甲基硅氧烷的共聚物。合适的环状硅油是,例如环状二烷基聚硅氧烷、和环状烷芳基聚硅氧烷。后者中特别令人感兴趣的是环状聚二甲基硅氧烷(也称作环状二甲基硅氧烷或环甲基硅酮)和环状甲基苯基硅氧烷。也包括上述线形或环状硅油的烷氧基化或季胺化的类似物及其混合物,特别是线形和环状二烷基或烷芳基聚硅氧烷的混合物。
优选的硅油包括环状二甲基硅油(即环甲基硅酮),例如四环甲基硅酮、五环甲基硅酮和线形二甲基硅酮(即聚二甲硅氧烷),包括这些硅氧烷的混合物。
本发明乳剂中的硅油总量可变化,但一般在0.1%-20%,优选0.2%-15%,更优选0.5%-10%(所有的%是相对于乳剂总量的重量比w/w)。
油相可额外含有合适的油组分,这种油组分是皮肤相容的油组分或组分的混合物,这些组分或混合物是水所不能混合的并且可是,例如天然油、脂肪酸酯、单酸甘油酯、甘油二酯或甘油三酯或其它的油或其混合物。油优选在环境温度下是液体,特别是在20℃或25℃是液体。只要整个油类混合物在环境温度或上述的温度是液体,油就可含有一定量的固体脂类组分(例如,脂肪)。
其它可包含进的油包括天然油或脂肪、或天然油的衍生物,特别是源自蔬菜的。这种油的例子是杏仁油、大豆油、向日葵油、红花油、玉米油、低芥酸菜籽油、琉璃苣油、夜来香油、葡萄籽油、小麦胚芽油、鳄梨油、霍霍巴油、核油、芝麻油、核桃油、亚麻籽油、棕榈油、橄榄油、昆士兰果油、蓖麻油、油菜籽油、花生油、椰油和萝卜籽油。
油相也可包括单酸甘油酯、甘油二酯或甘油三酯。这些油类可获得自饱和或不饱和、直链或支链、取代或未取代的脂肪酸或脂肪酸混合物。特别的单酸甘油酯、甘油二酯或甘油三酯是单、二或三C12-24脂肪酸甘油酯,具体说是单、二或三C16-20脂肪酸甘油酯,例如一硬脂酸、二硬脂酸或三硬脂酸甘油酯。单酸甘油酯、甘油二酯或甘油三酯的混合物可得自脂肪酸的组分。后者的例子是单、二和三C12-18脂肪酸甘油酯混合物。
其它油组分包括分离自天然油的油组分,特别是分离自上述天然油,即纯甘油三酯或其混合物,或者是经化学制备的后者组分。这些所谓的甘油三酯(或三酰基甘油)是甘油与脂肪酸或脂肪酸混合物的酯类,例如通过油或脂肪组分水解或通过水解后脂肪酸混合物的分馏得到的所谓的工业级混合物。
所述甘油三酯中的脂肪酸可是饱和的或不饱和的、直链的或支链的、取代或未取代的。优选的甘油三酯是得自脂肪酸的甘油酯,可以是和饱或不饱和的,具有10到60个、特别是12到36个、更特别是12到24个、优选16到20个碳原子。优选的这种脂肪酸是,例如棕榈酸、油酸、月桂酸、肉豆蔻酸、硬脂酸、羟基硬脂酸、二十二烷酸或其混合物。这些种类中得自饱和脂肪酸的甘油三酯是尤其令人感兴趣的。
甘油三酯也可以是混合酯,即甘油与不同脂肪酸的三酯。其它这种甘油三酯是三硬脂酸甘油酯(也指硬脂精)、三山萮烷酸甘油酯、三棕榈酸甘油酯、三月桂酸甘油酯、三油酸甘油酯、三肉豆蔻酸甘油酯。
其它的油成分是单酸甘油酯或甘油二酯,该甘油酯可任选与文中述及的脂肪和油类混合,特别是与甘油三酯混合。单酸甘油酯或甘油二酯得自饱和或不饱和、直链或支链的、取代或未取代的脂肪酸或脂肪酸混合物。特别是单酸甘油酯或甘油二酯是单或二C12-24脂肪酸甘油酯,具体说是单或二C16-20脂肪酸甘油酯,例如一硬脂酸甘油酯、二硬脂酸甘油酯。单酸甘油酯、甘油二酯和任选的三甘油酯的混合物可得自脂肪酸组分。一个这种混合物的例子是C12-18单酸甘油酯、甘油二酯和三甘油酯的混合物。
油相也包括脂肪酸的烷基酯,其中后者的烷基具有1到30个碳原子,优选12到24个碳原子。所述烷基酯中的脂肪酸特别是指C12-30的脂肪酸、更特别是指C12-20的脂肪酸。所述烷基酯中的烷基优选得自脂肪醇或其混合物,例如通过高压加氢来自脂肪或油类的甲基酯的工业级混合物获得。
优选的烷基酯是C16-24脂肪酸和C1-30的脂肪醇的烷基酯、其中脂肪酸更优选C16-18的脂肪酸,脂肪醇优选C8-24的脂肪醇、更优选C12-20的脂肪醇。其例子是C16-C40-硬脂酸烷基酯、特别是C20-C40硬脂酸烷基酯。
其它的油类是线形、饱和的或未饱和的C6-C22-脂肪酸与直链或支链的、饱和或不饱和的C6-C22-脂肪醇形成的液体酯类,和支链C6-C13-羧酸与直链或支链、饱和或不饱和的C6-C22-脂肪醇形成的酯类。
以下是酯的类型中油成分的例子:油酸癸酯、辛酸椰油酯/癸酸椰油酯(以商品名SN获得)、月桂酸己酯、异硬脂酸肉豆蔻酯、油酸肉豆蔻酯、异硬脂酸十六烷酯、油酸十六烷酯、异硬脂酸十八烷酯、肉豆蔻酸异十八烷酯、棕榈酸异十八烷酯、硬脂酸异十八烷酯、异硬脂酸异十八烷酯、油酸异十八烷酯、油酸异十八烷酯、肉豆蔻酸油酯、异硬脂酸油酯、油酸油酯、芥酸油酯、异硬脂酸二十二烷酯、异硬脂酸二十四烯酯、油酸瓢儿菜酯。其它的油成分是线形C6-C22脂肪酸与支链醇(特别是2-乙基己醇(Cetiole 868))形成的酯,支链C6-C22脂肪酸与线形醇形成的酯,C 18-C38-烷基羟基羧酸与直链或支链C6-C22-脂肪醇形成的酯,线形和/或支链脂肪酸与多官能醇(例如丙二醇、聚二醇或聚三醇)和/或格尔伯特醇形成的酯,以及C6-C22脂肪醇和/或格尔伯特醇与芳香族羧酸(特别是苯甲酸)形成的酯,C2-C12-二羧酸与具有1到22个碳原子的直链或支链醇形成的酯(例如,苹果酸二辛醇)。
这些酯类中特别感兴趣的是,例如硬脂酸十八烷酯、硬脂酸棕榈酯、二十二烷酸十八烷酯、硬脂酸十六烷酯、二十二烷酸十六烷酯、棕榈酸十六烷酯、山萮酸十六/十八烷酯混合物、二十二烷酸二十二烷酯、庚酸十八烷酯、辛酸十八烷酯、肉豆蔻酸肉豆蔻酯、棕榈酸肉豆蔻酯、硬脂酸肉豆蔻酯、异硬脂酸肉豆蔻酯、油酸肉豆蔻酯、异十八烷酸十六烷酯、油酸十六烷酯、异十八烷酸十八烷酯、油酸十八烷酯、肉豆蔻酸异十八烷酯、棕榈酸异十八烷酯、硬脂酸异十八烷酯、异硬脂酸异十八烷酯、油酸异十八烷酯、二十二烷酸异十八烷酯、油酸异十八烷酯、肉豆蔻酸油酯、棕榈酸油酯、硬脂酸油酯、异硬脂酸油酯、油酸油酯、二十二烷酸油酯、芥酸油酯、异硬脂酸二十二烷酯、油酸二十二烷酯、异硬脂酸二十四烯酯。
其它引起兴趣的酯类是C18-C38-烷基羟基羧酸与直链或支链C6-C22-脂肪醇形成的酯,线形和/或支链脂肪酸与聚醇(例如丙二醇、二聚二醇或三聚三醇)和/或格尔伯特醇形成的酯。
脂肪醇
其它可用的油成分包括脂肪醇。脂肪醇包括,例如C12-C50-脂肪醇,特别是C12-C24-脂肪醇,更特别是得自天然脂肪、油类或蜡的C16-C22-脂肪醇,例如十四烷醇、1-十五烷醇、十六烷醇、1-十七烷醇、十八烷醇、1-十九烷醇、二十(arachidyl)烷醇、1-二十一烷醇、二十二烷醇、二十二(brassidyl)烯醇、二十四烷醇、二十六烷醇、三十烷醇、月桂醇、辛醇、癸醇、十六烷醇、棕榈油醇(palmoleyl alcohol)、异十八烷醇、油醇、反十八烯醇、岩芹醇、顺(式)9-二十碳烯醇、瓢儿菜醇,包括其混合物,例如十八烷醇/十六烷醇混合物、C12/13脂肪酸和格尔伯特醇类的混合物,后者以具有6到18、特别是8到10个碳原子的脂肪醇为基础。本发明使用的醇类优选饱和的、直链或支链脂肪醇。然而不饱和的、直链或支链醇类也是可用的,该醇类可任选与饱和醇混合。
脂肪醇的混合物明显也是可用的,它包括还原对应的脂肪酸部分得到的脂肪醇部分,例如从还原脂肪酸部分的甲基酯得到的。这些醇类可得自天然的油类或脂肪,例如杏仁油、大豆油、向日葵油、红花油、玉米油、低芥酸菜籽油、琉璃苣油、夜来香油、葡萄籽油、小麦胚芽油、鳄梨油、霍霍巴油、芝麻油、核桃油、亚麻籽油、棕榈油、橄榄油、蓖麻油、昆士兰果油、油菜籽油、花生油、椰油和萝卜籽油。获得这些产品的脂肪醇可是饱和的、直链或支链的脂肪醇。然而不饱和的、直链或支链醇类也是可用的,该醇类可任选与饱和醇混合。特别是可使用得自天然脂肪、油类或蜡的脂肪醇。
脂肪酸
油相也可含有C14-C40-脂肪酸,包括其混合物。特别感兴趣的是C16-C30-脂肪酸。这些脂肪酸包括,例如肉豆蔻酸、十五烷酸、棕榈酸、十七烷酸、硬脂酸、十九烷酸、花生酸、二十二烷酸、二十四烷酸、二十六烷酸、三十烷酸、芥酸(erucaic-)、桐酸、油酸、亚油酸(lonolenic-acid)、月桂酸以及取代的脂肪酸,如羟基脂肪酸,例如12-羟基硬脂酸和这些脂肪酸的酰胺和单乙醇胺。
二烷基(烯)醚
该组合物也可含有对称或不对称、直链或支链、饱和或不饱和的二烷基(烯)醚。优选饱和的C6-C30-二烷基醚,特别是C6-C24-二烷基醚。更优选C6-C20-二烷基醚,并且特别优选二硬脂醚和二山萮醚。短链二烷基醚也可用,例如二正辛基醚、二-(2-乙基己基)-醚、月桂基甲基醚、辛基丁基醚或十二烷基醚。
这些醚可通过本领域已知的过程在有酸性催化剂的条件下从合适的脂肪醇获得。典型的例子是得自上述“脂肪醇”部分的醇类的醚类或混合醚类,包括其任何混合物。
二烷基(烯)碳酸酯
可用的二烷基(烯)碳酸酯是对称或非对称的、直链或支链的、饱和或不饱和的。优选二烷基(烯)碳酸酯是直链或支链的、饱和或不饱和的C14-C30-二烷基(烯)碳酸酯。更优选的是C16-C24-二烷基碳酸酯并且在这些酯类中更优选饱和的线形C16-C22-二烷基碳酸酯。特别优选的是二硬脂基碳酸酯。合适的二烷基(烯)碳酸酯是,例如二己基、二辛基、二(2-乙基己基)-或二油基碳酸酯。
这些二烷基(烯)碳酸酯可通过本领域已知的过程用二甲基-或二乙基碳酸酯与相应的羟基化合物再次酯化获得。二烷基(烯)碳酸酯典型的例子是二甲基-和/或二乙基碳酸酯和得自以上“脂肪醇”部分述及的醇类(包括其混合物)的再次酯化产物。
二羧酸
可使用的二羧酸是,例如C9-C34-二碳酸。这些包括,例如十八烷二酸、三十四癸二酸(tetratridecanedioic acid)等。特别感兴趣的是C9二羧酸的壬二酸。
羟基脂肪醇
用在组合物中的羟基脂肪醇是保和或不保和的、直链或支链的。优选的是C12-C30-羟基脂肪醇,其中羟基取代的位置取决于合成路线和使用的起始物质。例如,包括1,10-癸二醇、1,2十六烷二醇、12-羟基十八烷醇或羟基-格尔伯特醇。特别优选的是12-羟基十八烷醇。
其它的油类成分
其它可用的油类组分包括脂肪族或芳香族的矿物和石蜡油和合成油,以及它们的混合物。
还有其它烃类的油组分包括,例如角鲨烷、角鲨烯、石蜡油、异十六烷、异二十烷或聚癸烯以及二烷基环己烷。
本发明乳剂中油类组分的总量(即包括所有的脂类成分,例如文中述及的硅油)是可变的,但一般在2-70%,优选在5-50%,更优选在10-30%(w/w,相对于乳剂的总重量)。
水相
水相可以是水,但在大多数情况中可含有其它的水溶性成分,特别是任何以下述及的水溶性制剂。
本发明乳剂应用于个人护理,特别是用于皮肤的清洁和处理,因此乳剂的pH应调节为等于或接近皮肤的pH值。特别是pH要调节到使乳剂的pH约为4到7,优选pH约4.5到6.5,更优选pH约5.5。可以通过加入充足量的可达到这种pH的合适的无机和有机酸或碱来调节pH。也可使用pH在所需范围内的合适的缓冲系统。pH调节剂可在乳化过程前或之后加入水相,或可同时在两种情况中加入。
本发明乳剂中的电位阻稳定剂是聚合羧酸,该乳剂可能比期望的更酸一些。通常在那种情况中,会加入合适的碱或缓冲液将乳剂调节至期望的pH,特别是调节至上述范围内。合适的碱包括有机胺类碱,特别是皮肤相容的胺类(例如相对无刺激性)并且优选具有较低的当量重量(例如<300),例如三乙醇胺、三甲胺、三乙胺、氨丁三醇、氨甲基丙醇、四羟基乙二胺,也包括它们的混合物。也可使用无机碱,包括有碱金属氢氧化物,例如NaOH。
多羟基化合物或羟酸
本发明的乳剂还含有一种或多种多羟基化合物或羟酸或它们的盐。适用于本发明乳剂中的多羟基化合物包括可形成透明的水溶液的水溶性多羟基化合物。多羟基化合物或羟酸的功能不仅在于调节水相的折射率还能额外用于乳剂中的其它目的,例如它们可作为皮肤的保湿剂、润湿剂或润肤剂。
特别选用的多羟基化合物是多羟基烷烃或环烷烃或其水溶性衍生物。后者的例子包括水溶性的多羟基化合物酯或醚,特别是多羟基化合物族或文中述及的具体的多羟基化合物。特别感兴趣的是那些具有连位羟基官能团的多羟基化合物,优选甘醇类的多元醇,即具有乙二醇部分的多羟基化合物,这种多羟基化合物的例子是低级亚烷基乙二醇,例如乙二醇、丙二醇、丁二醇、戊二醇和己二醇,也包括它们的低聚衍生物,例如二乙二醇、三乙二醇或其它水溶性的聚乙二醇或水溶性的聚丙二醇。用于本发明乳剂中的其它多羟基化合物的例子是例如甘油、1,2,4-丁三醇、1,2,6-己三醇、山梨醇、聚氧乙烯山梨醇、环己二醇等多羟基化合物。也包括多羟基化合物的混合物。特别优选的是乙二醇、丙二醇和甘油,也包括它们的混合物。
水溶性羟酸及其盐,例如乙二酸、乳酸和柠檬酸及其盐也是可用的,特别是后者来自于文中述及的合适的碱。多羟基化合物和羟酸的混合物也是可用的。加入多羟基化合物或羟酸来调节水相的折射系数使之接近油相的折射率。两相的折射率应该相似,特别是差异不能大于约0.05,优选不大于约0.03或0.02,更优选不大于0.0012。
因此,加入多羟基化合物的量的选择应使水相的折射率满足这些条件。
在本发明特定的实施方案中,乳剂的折射率在1.3到1.5,较好的是1.34到1.45,再好一些的是1.375到1.425,更要好一些的是1.390到1.410。
本发明乳剂中的多羟基化合物或羟酸的总量可变化,但一般在20%-60%,优选30%-50%,更优选35%-45%(w/w,相对于乳剂的总重量而言)。
电位阻稳定剂
本发明透明的水包油乳剂含有所谓的“电位阻稳定剂”,它们是具有极性基团的聚合组分,其功能是将油滴封闭入聚合物网格。这样,电位阻稳定剂提供了表面活性剂类型的经典乳化剂的替代品从而起到乳化剂的功能。电位阻稳定剂优选由具有疏水腔的亲水聚合物网格构成。
用在本发明乳剂中的电位阻稳定剂特别令人感兴趣的是它们是交联的羧酸聚合物。特别是后者可是含有单体的均聚物或共聚物,而单体得自丙烯酸、取代的丙烯酸和其盐和其酯,其中交联剂含有两个或多个碳-碳双键。交联剂优选得自多元醇。
羧酸聚合物的一种类型是丙烯酸或取代的丙烯酸单体的交联均聚物。取代的丙烯酸可在双键的碳位置用一个、两个或三个独立地选自C1-4烷基、-氰基和羧基的取代基取代。丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸和乙基丙烯酸单体是特别令人感兴趣的,其中优选丙烯酸。第一种类型的羧酸聚合物的例子包括卡波姆(carbomer),它是丙烯酸的交联均聚物。卡波姆的具体实施方案是丙烯酸与蔗糖或季戊四醇的烯丙基醚交联形成的均聚物,它们是市售可得的系列(来自B.F.Goodrich Company)。其它的卡波姆是与二乙烯基乙二醇交联的均聚物(来自Noveon的PolycarbophilsTM)。
羧酸聚合物的另一个类型是由两个或多个选自丙烯酸和丙烯酸衍生物的单体形成的交联共聚物,后者如上段所定义。特别令人感兴趣的交联羧酸共聚物包括:(i)第一种类型的单体,它们是丙烯酸或其衍生物、短链醇(如,C1-4烷基)丙烯酸酯单体或其衍生物以及它们的混合物;和(ii)第二种类型的单体,它们是长链醇(即,C8-40)丙烯酸酯单体或其衍生物。文中使用的术语“丙烯酸衍生物”或“丙烯酸短链或长链酯”包括在一个或两个双键碳原子上均有一个、两个或三个取代基的丙烯酸或丙烯酸酯衍生物。这些取代基,例如可独立地选自C1-4烷基、CN和COOH。
这些共聚物中优选的丙烯酸单体或其衍生物是丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸或乙基丙烯酸,前二者是特别优选的。短链醇丙烯酸酯单体或其衍生物优选选自C1-4醇丙烯酸酯、C1-4醇甲基丙烯酸酯、C1-4醇乙基丙烯酸酯,前二者是特别优选的。这些共聚物中长链醇丙烯酸酯单体优选选自C8-40烷基丙烯酸酯,其中特别优选C10-30烷基丙烯酸酯。
市售可得的羧酸共聚物的例子包括丙烯酸C10-30烷酯与一个或多个丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸或它们的短链(即,C1-4醇)酯之一的单体形成的共聚物,其中交联剂是蔗糖或季戊四醇的烯丙基醚。这些共聚物是已知的丙烯酸酯/丙烯酸C10-30烷酯交联聚合物并且作为系列产品和系列产品市售可得,例如1342或1382、TR-1、和TR-2(得自B.F.Goodrich Company)。
这些乳化剂通常描述为具有良好的乳化能力并能产生良好稳定性的乳剂的疏水修饰的亲水聚合物。未能确切地知道其分子量但估计约为700,000到30或40亿。
两种类型的羧酸聚合物中的交联剂优选每个分子含有多个链烯基醚基团的多元醇的聚链烯基聚醚,其中多元醇含有至少3个碳原子和至少3个羟基。优选的交联剂是蔗糖的烯丙基醚或季戊四醇的烯丙基醚。
使用这种类型的稳定剂发现能制造透明的乳剂。既然只能用特定的乳化剂(特别是基于硅氧烷的乳化剂)制造透明的乳剂,这是出乎意料的。
与使用电位阻稳定剂、特别是文中所述聚合羧酸乳化剂相关的其它优点在于它们不仅提供良好的乳化性能还在涂抹到皮肤上形成油膜,特别形成提供具有润肤和护理性能的保护性屏障层的硅油膜后能足够快地破乳化。
乳化剂的用量要足够乳化硅油和其它可能出现在乳剂中的非水溶性油,典型的用量为0.05%到1.0%,优选0.05%到0.8%(w/w,相对于乳剂的总重量而言)。本发明特别优选的乳剂含有相对于乳剂的重量约0.1%到0.8%,更优选0.2%到0.6%,最优选0.3%到0.5%的乳化剂。
其它成分
本发明乳剂的水相或油相可含有常规用于个人护理产品的亲水或亲脂本质的其它成分。例如,乳剂可含有活性成分、香水、润肤剂、抗菌剂、螯合剂、香料、润肤辅助剂、皮肤增湿剂、湿润剂等成分。
本发明乳剂中的水相的含量可变化,但一般是在50-98%,优选60-95%,更优选70-90%(w/w,相对于乳剂的总重量而言)。
本发明的乳剂通过适当的乳化方法制造。通过混合硅油和所有其它脂类成分与电位阻稳定剂制造油性混合物并确定该混合物的折射率。通过混合所需量的水和所有的水性成分制造水性混合物并加入多羟基化合物或羟酸直至水性混合物的折射率接近油性混合物的。折射率的差异应如文中所述。然后使用标准的乳化技术乳化油相和水相。例如,可在搅拌的基础上将油相加入水相。可加入适当量的pH调节剂调节水相的pH。既然通常电位阻稳定剂是聚合酸,pH调节剂可将合适的碱(例如氢氧化钠)加入以中和聚合酸并将pH调节至所需值,例如文中所述的范围内。该步骤可在乳化步骤之前或之后进行,或同时在两个步骤中进行。乳化后,可加入少量的水来进一步调节折射率。
本发明的另一方面在于制造新颖的透明乳剂的方法与以传统乳化剂为基础的典型的透明乳剂的方法相比具有特殊的优点,其在于使得乳剂透明的步骤可在整个过程的最终进行,这有利于规模的扩大。
本发明的透明的乳剂不含乳化剂(增加了柔和性)。它们是水包油类型,因此相比于油包水类型更亮丽、更新鲜并且无油腻的皮肤感觉。该乳剂非常稳定并可含有高达70%的油相。由于通常是W/O类型的制剂表现出更好的保护和保湿性能,所以本发明乳剂与传统的白色水包油乳剂相比可带来更好的保湿与保护性能并具有与标准W/O透明的乳剂等同的效果是令人吃惊的。
本发明的乳剂可用于多种类型的成人和婴儿用的产品中,例如清洁剂、护理产品、保湿霜和用于涂布活性成分的乳剂等。

通过混合硅油和所有其它脂类成分与电位阻稳定剂制造油性混合物并确定该混合物的折射率。通过混合所需量的水和所有的水性成分制造水性混合物并加入甘油直至水性混合物的折射率接近油性混合物的。折射率的差异应等于或低于0.005。然后通过在搅拌的基础上将油相加入水相来乳化油相和水相并且搅拌5分钟使整体均匀化。乳化步骤后,通过加入所需量的氢氧化钠(水溶液)来中和电位阻稳定剂并将混合物的pH调节至5.5。然后可加入少量的水来进一步调节折射率至1.3998-1.3999。

Claims (18)
1. 一种透明的水包油乳剂,其特征在于,所述乳剂不含乳化剂,且所述乳剂包含:
(a)水相;
(b)含有硅油并任选与其它油性组分混合的油相;
(c)电位阻稳定剂,该电位阻稳定剂是聚丙烯酸酯和C10-30烷基化聚丙烯酸酯的共聚物;和
(d)以所述乳剂的总重量为基准计,20-60重量%多羟基化合物和/或羟酸,
其中,所述乳剂不含表面活性剂或所含表面活性剂的含量不足以乳化乳剂中的油相。
2. 如权利要求1所述的乳剂,其特征在于,所述硅油是二甲基硅油、环二甲基硅油或其混合物。
3. 如权利要求1所述的乳剂,其特征在于,所述其它油性组分选自:天然油。
4. 如权利要求1所述的乳剂,其特征在于,所述其它油性组分选自:单酸甘油酯、甘油二酯、甘油三酯、或它们的混合物。
5. 如权利要求1所述的乳剂,其特征在于,所述其它油性组分选自:环状、支链或直链烃类、直链或支链脂肪醇或其混合物。
6. 如权利要求5所述的乳剂,其特征在于,所述脂肪醇为格尔伯特醇。
7. 如权利要求1所述的乳剂,其特征在于,所述多羟基化合物是多羟基烷烃或多烃基环烷烃。
8. 如权利要求2所述的乳剂,其特征在于,所述多羟基化合物是多羟基烷烃或多烃基环烷烃。
9. 如权利要求3-6中任一项所述的乳剂,其特征在于,所述多羟基化合物是多羟基烷烃或多烃基环烷烃。
10. 如权利要求1所述的乳剂,其特征在于,所述乳剂包含:
(a)50%到98%的水相;
(b)2%到70%的油相,所述油相含有相对于乳剂总重量0.1-20重量%的硅油,并可任选地与另一种油性组分混合;
(c)0.05%到2%的电位阻稳定剂;
其中乳剂中所有组分的含量总和为100%。
11. 如权利要求1所述的乳剂,其特征在于,所述硅油是二甲基硅油、环二甲基硅油、或其混合物,所述多羟基化合物和/或羟酸是甘油,且所述电位阻稳定剂是丙烯酸酯/丙烯酸C10-30烷酯的交联聚合物。
12. 如权利要求10所述的乳剂,其特征在于,所述组分(b)中另一种油性组分是环戊硅氧烷。
13. 如权利要求1-8中任一项所述的乳剂,其特征在于,所述油相与水相折射率的差异小于0.005。
14. 如权利要求9所述的乳剂,其特征在于,所述油相与水相折射率的差异小于0.005。
15. 如权利要求10-12中任一项所述的乳剂,其特征在于,所述油相与水相折射率的差异小于0.005。
16. 如权利要求1-8中任一项所述的乳剂,其特征在于,所述乳剂的pH在pH4-pH7的范围内。
17. 如权利要求9所述的乳剂,其特征在于,所述乳剂的pH在pH4-pH7的范围内。
18. 如权利要求10-12中任一项所述的乳剂,其特征在于,所述乳剂的pH在pH4-pH7的范围内。
