背景技术
商业上实用的白炽灯已有逾百年的历史。然而,其它光源也显示出成为具有商业可行的白炽灯泡替代品的潜力。气体放电光源如荧光灯、水银灯、低压钠灯和高压钠灯,以及场致发光光源如发光二极管(LED),它们代表两类可以替代白炽灯的光源。作为一种主流光源,LED变得格外有吸引力,其中,部分原因是由于其能够通过高效率的光输出实现节能,并且有利于环保,例如减少了水银的使用。
白炽灯通过让电流流过真空灯泡中的金属丝发光。电流使金属丝发热并发光。当越多的电流流过金属丝时,金属丝产生的热量也就越多。对于一个透明的真空灯泡,金属丝的温度决定了光的颜色。较低的温度会产生淡黄色的光,高温会产生较蓝、较白的光。
气体放电灯包含一个封住气体的外罩。外罩末端有两个电极。电极通电后,两个电极间会产生电压差。通电电极放热使封入的气体电离。电离气体发出光。荧光灯中含有水银蒸汽,水银蒸汽发出紫外光。荧光灯外罩内部包含一层可以将紫外光转化为可见光的磷光层。
LED为半导体装置,由直流电驱动。LED的流明输出强度(即亮度)与通过LED的电流强度成正比。因此,提高供给LED的电流强度可提高LED的流明输出强度,降低供给LED的电流强度可使LED变暗。电流的调整有两种方式,一种是直接降低供给白色LED的直流电水平,另一种是通过脉冲宽度调制降低平均电流。
通过光的颜色特性可测定可见光谱的功率分配。可见光谱的波长范围约为400纳米(紫光)到700纳米(红光)。光的颜色特性通常用色温定义。因此,虽然光源发出的光的能量分布于多个频率,但是它被认为具有特定的颜色,此颜色可用特定的色温定义。表1描述了特定光源与其色温之间的一种示范性关系。

发明内容

具体实施方式
允许一种包含具有多种色温的光源的照明装置改变色温以响应调光水平变化的一种方法和系统。此光源为非白炽灯光源,例如发光二极管和/或气体放电光源。调光电路提供指示所选调光水平的调光信号。照明装置包括一个光源激励器和一个光源激励器控制器,它们联合改变光源的驱动电流以响应所选的调光水平。通过以不同相对量改变驱动电流,从而,根据调光水平变化改变照明装置的色温。在至少一个实施例中,照明装置响应调光水平改变而产生的色温变化促使白炽灯光源的色温改变。照明装置的组件可置于一个外罩中,照明装置的输入端子可直接与调光器相连,以能够接收通过如2线和4线(具体视调光器配置而定)之间的功率和调光信号。

图5描述了发光装置402在不同强度下调光水平和色温分布之间的一种示范性图形关系500。在调光水平改变时,通过在光源406和光源408上选择与白炽灯色温对应的不同强度组合,光源激励器控制器416能够使发光装置402模仿白炽灯。例如,在0%调光水平(100%强度)时,光源激励器控制器416向光源激励器418提供控制信号VS,使光源激励器418改变驱动电流IA和IB,从而使光源库404中的所有光源在100%强度下运行(即光源的全额定强度)。在此实施例中,光源406的数字比光源408的数字大,因此,在100%强度下光源406的强度比光源408的强度大。在至少一个实施例中,光源406的色温为5000K,光源408的色温为2500K。在另一实施例中,在0%调光水平下,光源激励器控制器416仅使光源406在满强度下运行,光源408为断开。对于0%和100%之间的干预调光水平,光源激励器控制器416向光源激励器418提供控制信号VS,使光源激励器418改变驱动电流IA和IB,以混合光源406和光源408的强度,从而引发色温转变,如图示600所示(图6)。驱动电流IA与IB之间在调光水平方面的关系是设计选择上的问题,可以为任何一种关系,例如非线性、线性、正比或反比。当调光水平达到100%调光水平时,光源激励器控制器416可以向光源激励器418提供控制信号VS,使光源激励器418以非线性形式改变驱动电流IA和IB,从而,显着降低光源406的强度,并且将一个或多个光源408驱动至所需的强度,以模仿完全变暗的白炽灯光的强度和输出颜色。在至少一个实施例中,在100%调光水平下,可断开所有驱动电流。
照明装置402可完全封闭在一个外罩内,例如一个常规外观的灯罩。可配置照明装置的输入端子,使其与常规或其它标准的照明插座完全兼容。可将相角传感器414、光源激励器控制器416、光源控制器418和光源库404作为一个单一的半导体集成电路(IC)、独立半导体IC、或集中到任何半导体IC组合中使用。此外,分立组件可与下列任意一个组件相连:相角传感器414、光源激励器控制器416、光源激励器418和光源库404。调光器412可独立封装,或与下列任意一个元件一起组合包装:相角检测器414、光源激励器控制器416、光源激励器418和光源库404。
图6描述了照明装置400的调光水平与色温之间的一种示范性图形关系600。当调光水平增加时,照明装置400的色温将从5000K降至2500K。图形关系600描述了一种线性增加关系,但在其它实施例中,其能够代表任何所需的函数,例如一种几何级增加或减少的关系。设计精确的颜色转换,以模仿调光水平增加时的白炽灯颜色转换。
图7描述了一个LED库700,此库代表了光源库404的一个实施例。原始直流电压VRDC被应用在串联的LED 702和LED704两端。光源激励器控制器416提供控制信号VS0和VS1,以分别控制开关708和710的闭合(导电)和断开(不导电)。在至少一个实施例中,开关718和710为n-通道场效应晶体管(FET)。在此实施例中,光源激励器控制器416提供开关718和710的栅极电压。驱动电流IA和IB的平均值将控制LED 702和704的强度。二极管712和714仅允许电流单向流动。电感器716和718以及电容器420和422分别调节LED 702和LED 704两端的电压,并进行过滤。电阻器724和726两端的电压被反馈到电源控制器416中,使电源控制器调节开关708和710的开关频率,从而,使驱动电流IA和IB与所选调光水平产生关联。LED库700中的LED数量和排列是设计选择上的问题,例如,取决于LED库700所需的强度和色温范围。
在至少一个实施例中,LED库700包括多个白色LED 702和多个黄色LED 704。白色LED 702和黄色LED 704的比例是设计选择上的问题,例如,取决于照明装置400在调光水平全范围内所需的色谱输出。在至少一个实施例中,白色LED 702和黄色LED 704的比例为10∶1。白色LED 702和黄色704的总数量也是设计选择上的问题,例如,取决于照明系统400所需的强度。LED库700可置于外罩720中。外罩720可为装饰性,例如一种槽型灯罩,它具有多串LED,可以线形、圆形或任何所需的方式排列。
因此,根据来自调光器的调光水平信号改变供给LED库的电流可以使照明装置400利用具有稳定色温的光源来改变色温。
尽管已经对本发明作了详细描述,但应明白,在不偏离所附权利要求中定义的本发明之范围和精神情况下仍可以进行多种变化、替代和更改。

Claims (23)

1.一种照明装置,包括:
两个输入端子,用于接收来自调光器和交流电源的调光信号,其中调光信号的相角指示了调光水平;
一个具有稳定第一色温的第一光源;
一个具有稳定第二色温的第二光源;
一个光源激励器,其与第一光源和第二光源相连;并与输入端子相连,以向第一光源提供第一驱动电流以及向第二光源提供第二驱动电流;以及
一个光源激励器控制器,其与光源激励器相连,以使光源激励器响应于调光信号的相角指示的调光水平的改变而改变第一和第二驱动电流,其中改变第一和第二驱动电流改变照明装置的色温;
其中照明装置被配置成:
在调光水平从100%降低到0%的同时,单调地增加第一光源的强度;以及
在调光水平从100%降低到0%的同时,单调地增加第二光源的强度。
2.根据权利要求1所述的照明装置,还包括:
一个相角检测器,用来检测调光信号的相角,以确定调光水平,以及
照明装置被进一步配置成:
在调光水平在从100%到某个值的范围中时,将第一光源的亮度设置为低于第二光源的亮度;以及
在调光水平在从所述某个值到0%的范围中时,将第一光源的强度设置为高于第二光源的强度。
3.根据权利要求1所述的照明装置,还包括:
一个围封第一光源、第二光源、光源激励器和光源激励器控制器的外罩,其中N个输入端子穿过外罩。
4.根据权利要求1所述的照明装置,其中照明装置被放置在一个槽型灯具中。
5.根据权利要求1所述的照明装置,还包括:
其中第一光源包含多个白色LED,第二光源包含多个黄色LED。
6.根据权利要求1所述的照明装置,其中第一光源包含至少一个具有第一色温的灯,第二光源包含至少一个具有第二色温的灯。
7.根据权利要求6所述的照明装置,其中灯为气体放电灯。
8.根据权利要求6所述的照明装置,其中灯为发光二极管。
9.根据权利要求6所述的照明装置,其中第一光源包含多个具有第一色温的灯,第二光源包含多个具有第二色温的灯。
10.根据权利要求1所述的照明装置,其中改变第一和第二驱动电流(i)在0%至90%之间的调光水平的连续的第一范围上改变照明装置的色温,以及(ii)在调光水平的第二范围上改变照明装置的强度,其中该调光水平的第二范围包括0%至100%之间的调光水平的连续范围,并且其中0%至100%之间的该调光水平的第二范围包括0%至90%之间的该调光水平的第一范围。
11.一种改变照明装置色温的方法,该方法包括:
利用N个输入端子中的至少一个接收调光信号,其中调光信号的相角指示了一段时间内的调光水平,N为小于或等于4的正整数;
利用N个输入端子中的至少两个接收来自电源的功率;
向第一光源提供第一驱动电流,其中第一光源具有稳定第一色温;
向第二光源提供第二驱动电流,其中第二光源具有稳定第二色温;其中
在调光水平从100%降低到0%的同时,单调地增加第一光源的强度;以及
在调光水平从100%降低到0%的同时,单调地增加第二光源的强度。
12.根据权利要求11所述的方法,还包括:
检测调光信号的相角以确定调光水平;以及
在调光水平在从100%到某个值的范围中时,将第一光源的亮度设置为低于第二光源的亮度;以及
在调光水平在从所述某个值到0%的范围中时,将第一光源的强度设置为高于第二光源的强度。
13.根据权利要求11所述的方法,其中照明装置置于一个单外罩内。
14.根据权利要求11所述的方法,其中照明装置被放置与一个槽型灯具中。
15.根据权利要求11所述的方法,其中第一光源包含多个白色LED,第二光源包含多个黄色LED。
16.根据权利要求11所述的方法,其中第一光源包含至少一个具有第一色温的灯,第二光源包含至少一个具有第二色温的灯。
17.根据权利要求16所述的方法,其中灯为气体放电灯。
18.根据权利要求16所述的方法,其中灯为发光二极管。
19.根据权利要求16所述的方法,其中第一光源包含多个具有第一色温的灯,第二光源包含多个具有第二色温的灯。
20.根据权利要求11所述的方法,其中第一和第二驱动电流为响应调光水平而发生的改变是指第一驱动电流与第二驱动电流成反比的改变。
21.根据权利要求11所述的方法,其中改变第一和第二驱动电流(i)在0%至90%之间的调光水平的连续的第一范围上改变照明装置的色温,以及(ii)在调光水平的第二范围上改变照明装置的强度,其中该调光水平的第二范围包括0%至100%之间的调光水平的连续范围,并且其中0%至100%之间的该调光水平的第二范围包括0%至90%之间的该调光水平的第一范围。
22.根据权利要求1所述的照明装置,其中响应于调光水平的改变而改变第一和第二驱动电流以改变照明装置的色温和强度,从而模拟白炽灯光源的色温改变。
23.根据权利要求11所述的方法,其中响应于调光水平的改变而改变第一和第二驱动电流,其中改变第一和第二驱动电流以改变照明装置的色温和强度包括:
响应于调光水平的改变而改变第一和第二驱动电流,其中响应于调光水平的改变而改变第一和第二驱动电流以改变照明装置的色温和强度,从而模拟白炽灯光源的色温改变。
