Abstract

车辆驱动装置,具备引擎(200),由引擎(200)驱动进行发电的电动发电机(MG1),驱动车辆并在再生制动时进行发电的电动发电机(MG2),能够与电动发电机(MG1、MG2)授受电力的蓄电池(B),检测蓄电池(B)的温度的温度传感器(10),和进行电动发电机(MG1、MG2)控制的控制装置(30)。控制装置(30),在检测到电动发电机(MG2)的驱动转矩的要求值减少的情况下,根据温度传感器(10)的输出,变更使电动发电机(MG2)开始再生制动的定时。

Description

车辆驱动装置以及车辆驱动装置的控制方法
技术领域
本发明涉及车辆驱动装置,特别涉及并用内燃机和旋转电机来驱动车辆的混合动力车辆所用的车辆驱动装置。
背景技术
近几年,作为环保车辆,搭载了蓄电装置且搭载马达作为驱动装置的电动机动车、混合动力机动车以及燃料电池机动车等受到了关注。这些车辆,通过积极进行在制动车辆时用马达将动能转化为电能并返回到蓄电池的再生制动,谋求改善能量转换效率。
在这些车辆中,混合动力机动车,为了弥补电动机动车的缺点、即增加行驶距离需要大容量的蓄电池从而车重增加且充电需要长时间的缺点,在车辆上搭载了通过引擎驱动的发电机。
然而,在进行再生制动的情况下,再生产生的电力和发电机产生的电力一起施加在蓄电池的端子间,因蓄电池的蓄电状态不同,有时端子间电压会上升至容许电压以上。在这样端子间施加了过大电压的情况下,蓄电池的电解液分解,或产生气体,或加热,会出现蓄电池的使用寿命缩短的问题。
日本特开平8-79911号公报公开了解决了这些问题的、能够防止在再生制动时向蓄电池端子间施加过大电压的混合动力型电动机动车。
蓄电池的使用寿命受蓄电池温度影响很大。如果设蓄电池电流为I、内部电阻为R,蓄电池内的发热则表示为I2R,所以即使只是短时间流过过大电流,发热量也与该电流的平方成比例增加。因而,不仅从蓄电状态的方面,从蓄电池温度的方面,也需要进行控制以避免再生产生的电力和由发电机产生的电力一起施加在蓄电池的端子间。也就是说,即使充电状态较低,也必须注意避免充电电流的瞬间峰值过大。
但是,另一方面,也并不是蓄电池的温度越低越好,有使用的最适温度范围。因而,对于蓄电池温度低的情况,日本特开平8-79911号公报公开的混合动力机动车有改良的余地。
本发明的目的在于,提供谋求对蓄电装置的保护且提高能量转换效率的车辆驱动装置。
发明内容
本发明,概括地讲,是车辆驱动装置,具备:驱动车辆、且在再生制动时进行发电的第1旋转电机,能够与第1旋转电机进行电力授受的蓄电装置,检测蓄电装置的温度的温度检测部,和进行第1旋转电机的控制的控制装置。控制装置,在检测出第1旋转电机的驱动转矩的要求值减少的情况下,根据温度检测部的输出,在是否使第1旋转电机进行再生制动之间切换。
优选的是,控制装置,在蓄电装置的温度超过预定值时,在自检测出要求值减少后的预定期间内禁止第1旋转电机的再生制动。
优选的是,控制装置,在蓄电装置的温度未达到预定值时,在自检测出要求值减少后的预定期间内允许第1旋转电机进行再生制动。
优选的是,车辆驱动装置还具备使制动力作用于车辆的制动装置。控制装置,在蓄电装置的温度超过预定值时,将第1旋转电机的再生制动禁止预定期间,在预定期间内通过制动装置使制动力作用于车辆。
优选的是,控制装置,根据检测加速踏板位置的加速踏板传感器的输出,确认驱动转矩的要求值。
优选的是,车辆驱动装置,还具备内燃机,和由内燃机驱动、进行发电的第2旋转电机。蓄电装置,能够与第1、第2旋转电机进行电力授受;控制装置进行第1、第2旋转电机的控制。
本发明的其他情况,是车辆驱动装置,具备:驱动车辆、且在再生制动时进行发电的第1旋转电机,能够与第1旋转电机进行电力授受的蓄电装置,检测蓄电装置的温度的温度检测部,和进行第1旋转电机的控制的控制装置。控制装置,在检测出第1旋转电机的驱动转矩的要求值减少的情况下,根据温度检测部的输出,变更使第1旋转电机开始再生制动的定时。
优选的是,车辆驱动装置还具备使制动力作用于车辆的制动装置。控制装置,在蓄电装置的温度超过预定值时,使第1旋转电机开始再生制动的定时延迟预定期间,在预定期间内通过制动装置使制动力作用于车辆。
优选的是,控制装置,根据检测加速踏板位置的加速踏板传感器的输出,确认驱动转矩的要求值。
优选的是,车辆驱动装置还具备内燃机,和由内燃机驱动、进行发电的第2旋转电机。蓄电装置,能够与第1、第2旋转电机进行电力授受;控制装置进行第1、第2旋转电机的控制。
本发明的其他情况,车辆驱动装置的控制方法,该车辆驱动装置包括驱动车辆且在再生制动时进行发电的第1旋转电机、能够与第1旋转电机进行电力授受的蓄电装置、和检测蓄电装置的温度的温度检测部,该控制方法具有:检测第1旋转电机的驱动转矩的要求值减少的步骤,和根据温度检测部的输出在是否使第1旋转电机进行再生制动之间切换的步骤。
根据本发明,在车辆中谋求对蓄电装置的保护的同时,还能够提高能量转换效率。

具体实施方式
以下,参照图对本发明的实施形态进行详细说明。另外,图中相同或相当的部分用同一符号标记,不再重复对其进行说明。
图1是表示本发明的实施形态所涉及的混合动力机动车1的构成的框图。
参照图1,混合动力机动车1包含前轮20R、20L,后轮22R、22L,引擎200,行星齿轮PG,差速齿轮DG,齿轮4、6。
混合动力机动车1,还包含蓄电池(battery)B、将蓄电池B输出的直流电升压的升压单元25、与升压单元25之间授受直流电的逆变器14、14A。
混合动力机动车1,还包含通过行星齿轮PG接受引擎200的动力进行发电的电动发电机MG1、转动轴连接在行星齿轮PG上的电动发电机MG2。逆变器14、14A分别连接在电动发电机MG1、MG2上,进行交流电和来自于升压电路的直流电之间的转换。
行星齿轮PG包含太阳齿轮、环形齿轮(ring gear,冠状齿轮、齿圈)、与太阳齿轮以及环形齿轮咬合的小齿轮(pinion gear)、将小齿轮以能够绕太阳齿轮转动的方式支撑的行星齿轮架。行星齿轮PG有第1~第3转动轴。第1转动轴是连接在引擎200上的行星齿轮架的转动轴。第2转动轴是连接在电动发电机MG1上的太阳齿轮的转动轴。第3转动轴是连接在电动发电机MG2上的环形齿轮的转动轴。
在该第3转动轴上安装齿轮4,该齿轮4通过驱动齿轮6向差速齿轮DG传递动力。差速齿轮DG将从齿轮6接受的动力传递到前轮20R、20L,并且通过齿轮6、4将前轮20R、20L的转动力传递到行星齿轮PG的第3转动轴。
行星齿轮PG的作用是在引擎200,电动发电机MG1、MG2之间分配动力。即,如果行星齿轮PG的三个转动轴中两个转动轴的转动已定,那么剩下的一个转动轴的转动就自然确定。因而,使引擎200在最高效的区域工作的同时,控制电动发电机MG1的发电量、驱动电动发电机MG2、由此进行驶速的控制,可以实现整体能量转换效率高的机动车。
作为直流电源的蓄电池B,例如,由镍氢或锂离子等的二次电池构成,将直流电提供给升压单元25,并且通过来自于升压单元25的直流电充电。
蓄电池B,是电池组,包含串联的多个电池单元B0~Bn。在升压单元25和蓄电池B之间设有系统主继电器SR1、SR2,在车辆非运行时切断高电压。
升压单元25将从蓄电池B接受的直流电压升压,将该升压后的直流电压提供给逆变器14、14A。逆变器14、14A将供给的直流电压转换为交流电压,在引擎起动时驱动控制电动发电机MG1。还有,在引擎起动后,电动发电机MG1发电产生的交流电通过逆变器14、14A转换为直流,通过升压单元25转换为对蓄电池B充电的合适电压,为蓄电池B充电。
混合动力机动车1还包含:检测接受来自于驾驶员的加速要求指示的输入部即加速踏板的位置的加速踏板传感器9,安装于蓄电池B的温度传感器10,和控制装置30。该控制装置30,根据来自于加速踏板传感器9的加速踏板开度(油门开度)Acc和温度传感器10检测出的温度Tbat控制引擎200、逆变器14、14A以及升压单元25。温度传感器10,检测蓄电池B的温度Tbat并发送到控制装置30。
逆变器14、14A,在加速踏板被踩后,根据来自于控制装置30的指示驱动电动发电机MG2。电动发电机MG2辅助引擎200驱动前轮20R、20L。
制动时,控制装置30,使作为机械式制动器的液压制动装置40、制动钳(brake caliper)44以及制动盘42与电动发电机MG协调地进行制动。电动发电机MG2进行再生运转,将车轮的转动动能转化为电能。得到的电能经由逆变器14、14A以及升压单元25返回到蓄电池B。
控制装置30,根据蓄电池B的温度和充电状态(SOC:State Of Charge)决定再生制动和机械制动的使用比率。
另外,制动时的再生制动中,包含在驾驶混合动力机动车的驾驶员进行了脚制动操作的情况下的伴随再生发电的制动。还有,也包含在没有进行脚制动操作的情况下,在行驶中关闭加速踏板(油门)而一边进行再生发电一边使车辆减速或中止加速的时候。
图2是说明车辆加速时或以一定速度行驶时的能量流动的概略图。
车辆加速时或以一定速度行驶时,是驾驶者正在踩踏加速踏板的状态。如图2所示,引擎200使燃料燃烧所得的转动动能Pe使电动发电机MG1转动,电动发电机MG1作为发电机输出电力Pmg1。此时,电动发电机MG2向车轮给与转动动能Pt。还存在通过动力分配机构即行星齿轮从引擎200直接传送到车轮的转动动能Pt2。转动动能Pt和Pt2用于克服车辆加速和行驶时的空气阻力和摩擦阻力。
设电动发电机MG1发电产生的电力为电力Pmg1,电动发电机MG2消耗的电力为电力Pmg2。主蓄电池充放电的电力Pbat,是电力Pmg1和电力Pmg2的差,不太大。
在这样的状态下,如果加速踏板被放开、变为加速踏板关闭状态或进行脚制动的状态,那么电动发电机MG2不加速,所以不消耗电力。另一方面,电动发电机MG1不会突然停止发电。因而,电力Pmg1向蓄电池B充电。此时,电动发电机MG2如果进行再生制动,还会向蓄电池B充再生电力,伴随着电流的增大,与电流的平方成比例地在蓄电池产生热。希望避免此时的蓄电池的发热对蓄电池产生不良影响,同时尽可能将再生电力高效地回收到蓄电池。
图3是表示图1的控制装置30执行的车辆制动相关程序的控制构造的流程图。该流程图的处理,在每当经过一定时间时或每当预定条件成立时,从预定的主程序呼出进行执行。
参照图1、图3,在步骤S1中,控制装置30,监视加速踏板传感器9的输出,判断加速踏板开度是否减少。未检测到加速踏板开度减少的情况下,如图2所示的能量均衡持续,所以处理进入步骤S7,控制移至主程序。
另一方面,在步骤S1中检测到加速踏板开度减少的情况下,处理进入步骤S2。这种情况下,电动发电机MG2的电力消耗停止,所以控制装置30判断电动发电机MG1是否在发电状态。例如,混合动力机动车也能够进行使引擎停止、像电动机动车那样只用马达行驶的EV行驶,不过在EV行驶时电动发电机MG1处于不发电的状态。
如果在步骤S2中电动发电机MG1处于发电的状态,则处理进入步骤S3,如果电动发电机MG1处于不发电的状态,处理进入步骤S6。
在步骤S3中,控制装置30判断温度传感器10检测到的蓄电池温度Tbat是否在规定温度T1以上。规定温度T1是,为了保护蓄电池B而开始限制输出输入的温度,或通过没有图示的冷却风扇等开始进行冷却的温度。
当在步骤S3中主蓄电池温度Tbat在规定温度T1以上时处理进入步骤S4,而主蓄电池温度Tbat不满规定温度T1时处理进入步骤S6。
在步骤S4中,控制装置30限制或禁止电动发电机MG2的再生发电。然后在步骤S5中,为了产生与引擎制动相当的制动力,控制装置30使液压制动装置40工作,然后在步骤S7中控制移至主程序。
另一方面,在步骤S6中,在电动发电机MG2实施再生发电、产生制动力,然后在步骤S7中控制移至主程序。
图4是用于说明图3的步骤S4、S5中行驶时的能量流动的概略图。
图5是用于说明图4所示的能量的时间变化的波形图。
参照图4、图5,处理进入图3的步骤S4的情况,处于驾驶者放松加速踏板或脚完全离开、且蓄电池温度Tbat达到规定值T1以上的状态。
在紧接着该时刻t1后,引擎转动还不会减少,引擎200使燃料燃烧所得的转动动能Pe使电动发电机MG1转动,电动发电机MG1作为发电机继续输出电力Pmg1。
另一方面,电动发电机MG2的控制的响应速度比引擎200的控制的响应速度快,所以当加速踏板被放开、变为加速踏板关闭状态时,电动发电机MG2不需要产生施加给车轮的转矩,不消耗电力。
这样一来,剩余的发电电力作为Pbat(MG1)向蓄电池B充电。此时,使液压制动器在时刻t1~t2的预定期间内工作。其间,车轮的转动动能Pt作为液压制动器的盘轮与制动块的摩擦热被消耗掉。之后,停止液压制动器的工作,切换到再生制动。
即,延迟使用电动发电机MG2的再生制动的开始,直至引擎转动稍微减少、剩余电力Pbat(MG1)减少的时刻t2为止。
也就是说,在蓄电池温度高于规定值的情况下,相应于加速踏板被松开,最初让液压制动器工作,在经过延迟时间TD后开始由MG2进行的再生制动。
这样通过协调控制液压制动和再生制动,能够获得与引擎制动相当的减速效果,能够使混合动力机动车的操作感与汽油车相同。
还有,通过错开从电动发电机MG1向蓄电池充电的电力峰值和来自于电动发电机MG2的再生电力的峰值,能够抑制相当于-ΔP的蓄电池的发热量。
但是,如果蓄电池温度并不那么高,也可以相应增加电力的回收量。
图6是用于说明图3的步骤S6中行驶时的能量流动的概略图。
图7是用于说明图6所示的能量的时间变化的波形图。
参照图6、图7,处理进入图3的步骤S6的情况,处于驾驶者放松加速踏板或脚完全离开、且蓄电池温度Tbat未达到规定值T1的状态。
在紧接着该时刻t1后,引擎转动还不会减少,引擎200使燃料燃烧所得的转动动能Pe使电动发电机MG1转动,电动发电机MG1作为发电机继续输出电力Pmg1。
另一方面,电动发电机MG2的控制的响应速度比引擎200的控制的响应速度快,所以当处于加速踏板关闭的状态时,电动发电机MG2不需要产生施加给车轮的转矩,不消耗电力。
这样一来,剩余的发电电力作为Pbat(MG1)充电于蓄电池B。如果蓄电池温度Tbat未达到规定值,也可以使液压制动器不工作,直接使电动发电机MG2开始再生制动,Pbat(MG2)也一起向蓄电池B充电。这种情况下,在图4中在摩擦制动中作为热消耗掉的能量Pt可以回收到主蓄电池B,能够提高能量转换效率。
还有,蓄电池并不是使用温度低就好,存在使用最适温度范围。因此,还能够预期得到下述效果,即,在极低温度下起动不久等时,通过在再生制动时积极加热蓄电池,能够使蓄电池温度迅速达到最适范围。
根据以上说明的内容,再次参照图1对本实施形态作如下总结。
车辆驱动装置,具备:引擎200,由引擎200驱动进行发电的电动发电机MG1,驱动车辆并在再生制动时进行发电的电动发电机MG2,能够与电动发电机MG1、MG2授受电力的蓄电池B,检测蓄电池B的温度的温度传感器10,和进行电动发电机MG1、MG2控制的控制装置30。控制装置30,检测到电动发电机MG2的驱动转矩的要求值减少的情况下,根据温度传感器10的输出,在是否使电动发电机MG2进行再生制动之间切换。
控制装置30,在蓄电池B的温度超过预定值T1时,监视加速踏板传感器的输出,在检测出要求值减少后的预定期间(图5的t1~t2)禁止电动发电机MG2的再生制动。
控制装置30,在蓄电池B的温度未达到预定值时,在检测出驱动转矩的要求值减少后的预定期间(与图5的t1~t2对应的图7的期间)允许电动发电机MG2进行再生制动。
车辆驱动装置,还具备使制动力作用于车辆的制动装置。制动装置包含液压制动装置、制动钳44、制动盘42。控制装置30,在蓄电池B的温度超过预定值T1时,在预定期间(图5的t1~t2)禁止电动发电机MG2的再生制动,在该预定期间通过制动装置使制动力作用于车辆。
本实施形态还可以描述如下。即,车辆驱动装置,具备:引擎200,由引擎200驱动进行发电的电动发电机MG1,驱动车辆并在再生制动时进行发电的电动发电机MG2,能够与电动发电机MG1、MG2授受电力的蓄电池B,检测蓄电池B的温度的温度传感器10,和进行电动发电机MG1、MG2控制的控制装置30。控制装置30,在检测出电动发电机MG2的驱动转矩的要求值减少的情况下,根据温度传感器10的输出,变更使电动发电机MG2开始再生制动的定时。
车辆驱动装置,还具备使制动力作用于车辆的制动装置。制动装置包含液压制动装置、制动钳44、制动盘42。控制装置30,在蓄电池B的温度超过预定值时,使电动发电机MG2开始再生制动的定时延迟预定期间,在该预定期间通过制动装置使制动力作用于车辆。
根据本实施形态,蓄电池的温度被维持在适当范围内的比例增加,所以不会损害蓄电池的使用寿命,而且还能提高能量转换效率。
另外,在本实施形态中,说明了适用于通过动力分配机构能够将引擎动力分配于车轴和发电机地传送的串联/并联型混合动力系统的例子。但是本发明,也可以适用于只为驱动发电机而使用引擎、只通过使用由发电机发电产生的电力的马达来产生车轴驱动力的串联型混合动力机动车,以及只用马达行驶的电动机动车。它们的构成,都是车轴与马达或发电机连接,可以回收减速时的再生能量并存储在蓄电池中,所以本发明可以适用。
此次公开的实施形态,应该理解为在所有方面都是例示而不是限制性说明。本发明的范围不是上面所述,而表示在权利要求中,与权利要求的范围的等同替换以及在范围内的所有变更都包括在内。

Claims (11)

1.一种车辆驱动装置,具备:
驱动车辆、且在再生制动时进行发电的第1旋转电机,
能够与所述第1旋转电机进行电力授受的蓄电装置,
检测所述蓄电装置的温度的温度检测部,和
进行所述第1旋转电机的控制的控制装置;
所述控制装置,在检测出所述第1旋转电机的驱动转矩的要求值减少的情况下,根据所述温度检测部的输出,在是否使所述第1旋转电机进行再生制动之间切换。
2.如权利要求1所述的车辆驱动装置,其特征在于,所述控制装置,在所述蓄电装置的温度超过预定值时,在自检测出所述要求值减少后的预定期间内禁止所述第1旋转电机的再生制动。
3.如权利要求1所述的车辆驱动装置,其特征在于,所述控制装置,在所述蓄电装置的温度未达到预定值时,在自检测出所述要求值减少后的预定期间内允许所述第1旋转电机进行再生制动。
4.如权利要求1所述的车辆驱动装置,其特征在于,
还具备使制动力作用于车辆的制动装置;
所述控制装置,在所述蓄电装置的温度超过预定值时,将所述第1旋转电机的再生制动禁止预定期间,在所述预定期间内通过所述制动装置使制动力作用于车辆。
5.如权利要求1所述的车辆驱动装置,其特征在于,所述控制装置,根据检测加速踏板位置的加速踏板传感器的输出,确认所述驱动转矩的要求值。
6.如权利要求1~5中任何一项所述的车辆驱动装置,其特征在于,
还具备内燃机,和由所述内燃机驱动、进行发电的第2旋转电机;
所述蓄电装置,能够与所述第1、第2旋转电机进行电力授受;
所述控制装置进行所述第1、第2旋转电机的控制。
7.一种车辆驱动装置,具备:
驱动车辆、且在再生制动时进行发电的第1旋转电机,
能够与所述第1旋转电机进行电力授受的蓄电装置,
检测所述蓄电装置的温度的温度检测部,和
进行所述第1旋转电机的控制的控制装置;
所述控制装置,在检测出所述第1旋转电机的驱动转矩的要求值减少的情况下,根据所述温度检测部的输出,变更使所述第1旋转电机开始再生制动的定时。
8.如权利要求7所述的车辆驱动装置,其特征在于,
还具备使制动力作用于车辆的制动装置;
所述控制装置,在所述蓄电装置的温度超过预定值时,使所述第1旋转电机开始再生制动的所述定时延迟预定期间,在所述预定期间内通过所述制动装置使制动力作用于车辆。
9.如权利要求7所述的车辆驱动装置,其特征在于,所述控制装置,根据检测加速踏板位置的加速踏板传感器的输出,确认所述驱动转矩的要求值。
10.如权利要求7~9中任何一项所述的车辆驱动装置,其特征在于,
还具备内燃机,和由所述内燃机驱动、进行发电的第2旋转电机;
所述蓄电装置,能够与所述第1、第2旋转电机进行电力授受;
所述控制装置进行所述第1、第2旋转电机的控制。
11.一种车辆驱动装置的控制方法,该车辆驱动装置包括驱动车辆且在再生制动时进行发电的第1旋转电机、能够与所述第1旋转电机进行电力授受的蓄电装置、和检测所述蓄电装置的温度的温度检测部,所述控制方法具有:
检测所述第1旋转电机的驱动转矩的要求值减少的步骤,和
根据所述温度检测部的输出在是否使所述第1旋转电机进行再生制动之间切换的步骤。
