背景技术
在包装领域中,尤其在香烟包装的领域中,常规做法是使用收缩包装膜来包裹最后的包装件以保持新鲜度以及充当填塞密封(tamperseal)。加热的使用是为了收缩膜以封住香烟包装件。
诸如那些用于香烟的传统包装件包括一个外部的容器或者包装,其在“软”包装的情形下由纸构成,或者在“硬”包装的情形下由硬纸板盒构成。然后用一个基本上不透气的材料包裹该包装以密封它,不透气材料的重叠边被粘合或者热密封在一起。在本领域中需要和期望一种具有改进的非熔化的两头折褶式密封以及全面的膜紧密性的被包裹的包装件。
授予Mattei等的美国专利4,887,408提供了一种密封产品包装的材料端部的常规方法。置于一个鼓内的包装件的三个边被包装材料以U型方式包裹。在远离鼓的一侧上,加热器与包装件接触。加热器将包装材料的两个边粘合在一起来达到以类似于护套的方式密封包装件的多个边。包装材料的端部折叠以封住包装件。接着将包装件传送经过三个加热位置,通过在其自身上将折叠的包装材料熔化来密封包装件的上端和下端。
授予Focke的美国专利4,330,977也提供了使用加热元件来密封包装件的方法。分隔开的加热元件能提供不同的有待使用的密封温度。
授予Draghetti的美国专利5,477,661提供了一种将香烟包装件置于一个鼓上并在低温下加热很长一段时间来密封包装件的方法。
使用“H”图案(例如G.D.Societa′per Azioni所使用的)以及矩形图案(例如Focke&Co.所使用的)的加热部件来密封是常规做法。在这两种设计中,操作者必须降低温度以避免熔化单个的折痕,这些折痕无法承受高温和相对长的加热多个折痕所需的时间段。因此,折痕有五层厚的区域不能充分加热。

因此,本发明的一个目的是提供一种制造包装材料的方法和设备,该包装材料将会改善两头折褶式密封以及改善整个包装的外观。而本发明的另一个目的是控制输入到聚乙烯包装上的热量以增加收缩,另外阻止其熔化。此外,本发明的另一个目的是使用多个分离的控制器来改善热输入。依照本发明的多级加热器实现了这些目的。
发明内容
依照第一实施方式,一种被膜包裹的包装件是通过使用一个多级加热器得以密封。本发明的加热器将密封拆成不同阶段以为包装件的包装材料,尤其是为收缩的包装材料提供更均匀的热量,同时避免其熔化。

更多的细节描述参照附图,图1-10举例说明了本发明的优选实施方式。图1展示了包装设备10的平面图,通过使用一个推杆或者杠杆臂14使诸如香烟包装12的包装件从装载通道15装载到加热区32内,该包装设备可用来包装该包装12。图2展示了包装设备10的侧面图。
包装12通过常规的方式(未示出)包装和折叠,并且按照本领域任何常规的方式装入装载通道15。图12所示的包装材料13可以是包括聚合物或者玻璃纸的任何常规的材料,并且可以包括一个用金属处理过的表面。
如图2所示,包装12沿着导向件18被供应通过装载通道15进入加热区32。使用导向件18、L型制动器17以及杠杆臂14将包装导入加热区内的一个位置。杠杆臂14可沿着一个枢轴28与一个往复臂20相连,并且通过弹簧元件22自动定位。臂20可夹在可移动轴26上,并与机器24相连以来回移动越过装载通道15。该可移动轴可以气动方式、机械方式或者其他常规已知的力(未示出)驱动,或者该可移动轴与沿着该可移动轴以常规方式被驱动的臂本体一起静止。如图2和3所示,杠杆臂14得到调准以推动包装12。
如图3所示,通过拉伸轴26,机器移动臂本体。杠杆臂14的较低部分在其枢轴28附近旋转(以虚线示出),这使得臂本体20和杠杆臂14越过装载通道15内的包装12。杠杆臂14的旋转导致杠杆臂的突出物30使弹簧元件处于应力或者偏置状态(以虚线示出)。越过包装12之后,臂本体20到达一个预定的停止点,这样包装12不再使杠杆臂14保持在枢转位置。先前由于杠杆臂的突出物28的影响而处于应力或者偏置状态的弹簧元件22重新回到其松弛状态。因此,杠杆臂14枢转到其向下伸展的位置,这样其与臂本体20对准以推动包装12。
弹簧元件22应当可由弹簧钢或者任何形状的记忆材料构成,该记忆材料可以施加足够的力使杠杆臂的突出物30压回到臂本体20的凹陷部分内。可替换地是,弹簧元件22可以是任何常规的机构,该机构将允许臂的突出物延伸,并也将能将臂的突出物30压回到臂本体20的凹陷部分内。
达到预定的停止点后,臂本体20返回到图2所示的位置,推动包装12沿着可开有槽的表面33经过加热区32。当杠杆臂14推动一组包装12从加热区32的第一级到加热区32的第二级时,另一组包装12向前穿过装载通道15进入加热区32,上述加热区32的第一级覆盖装载通道15。图2和3举例说明了本发明的杠杆臂14每次推动两个包装。但是,应当预料到,该设备和方法能修改成推动任何数量的包装而不偏离本发明。
挡条34导引包装12沿着表面33通过加热区32。当处于加热区时,包装12与一个或者一对加热板接触,例如图1-4所示的加热板36。
当包装12最初从装载通道15提升进入加热区32时,这些包装可以在最初的位置或者级保持任意预定的时间。但是,应当预料到,包装12将会在加热区内的每一级保持足够长的时间以供臂本体来回地移动并使另一组包装12从第一级滑动到第二级。
由杠杆臂14推动的每一组包装12将依次推动相邻组的包装12经过加热板36的多级,并且来到如图1所示的轮38上。加热板36可与电机37相连,该电机在包装12静止时移动加热板36,使加热板36处于与包装12接触的位置,当包装12被推动经过加热区32时,该电机移动加热板36远离包装12。与轴26和机器24相同,往复电机37可以是任何常规的移动装置,诸如臂、轴或者活塞,并且可以由手动、气动、电力或者其他机械力驱动。
一旦位于轮38上,包装由推动件40和压制导向装置42导引。接着,包装12被装入一个供最后包装用的排出盒44。
现在详细描述依照本发明优选实施方式的加热板36。虽然预料到加热板36将设置在加热区32的两侧以与包装12的两端接触,但是为了方便只描述一个板。虽然其优选由相对高导热率的材料制成,但是加热板可由任何常规的材料构成。
如图1所示,包装可以设置成当其位于加热区32时与加热板36接触。图4举例说明了加热板36设计的一个典型的实施方式。虽然加热板36可以具有任意数量的级,但是图4举例说明了具有四级的加热板36。图7-10以虚线展示了加热板36与包装12接触的地方。
如图4所示的加热板36可以是曲面形状。数字50代表的区域可以是曲面或者是平的,并且可以全部在相同的平面内。虽然区域52可以是线性的、曲面形或者可以是阶梯状,但是所举例说明的为线性的斜面。
加热板36上的第一级54可以是平的。包装12,尤其是包装材料13与如图7所示的加热板36的平面接触。第一级54均匀地预热包装材料的表面。加热板36可以具有一个切口55,设置该切口是为了例如将板安装在包装设备10上,或者为了调准的任何理由。
第二级56是一个定位粘合(tacking)的阶段。该阶段典型地包括在包装材料上实施粘合。如图8所示,包装材料在接触点58(在图8中以虚线示出)处由元件57接触,包装材料最厚处的点在其自身上折叠。考虑到包装材料端部折叠的方式,包装材料可以具有五层的厚度。
第三级60密封包装材料13。如图9所示,一个“H”形的元件61在区域59(在图9中以虚线示出)内沿着包装材料13的折叠边与包装12接触,称元件61为“H”形是因为其外形。加热使得包装材料13自身沿着接触边粘合,这样就将包装与外部环境密封隔离。
被称为美边(beauty bar)收缩阶段的第四级62在包装12周围将包装材料13紧紧地收缩。加热板具有一个表面,该表面具有梯形接触元件63、一个第一凹陷区50以及一个第二凹陷区65。如图10所示,当第二凹陷区在区域66与包装12对齐时,接触元件63沿着包装材料13的折叠边在区域64内与包装12接触(在图10中假想示出)。为了更好的举例说明加热板36的不同级,尤其是关于第四级62,图6展示了图4的加热部件沿6-6线得到的剖面图。以虚线示出包装12是为了进一步举例说明加热部件36与包装12接触的地方。美边收缩阶段62的通常为下凹的成形外形保证了适当的加热以收缩包装12的包装材料13,并且能消除如图11所示的现有技术中出现的任何皱褶80,并同时避免使包装材料熔化。于是一种改进的被包裹的包装12如图12所示被生产出来。
如图5A和5B所示,热量由位于板36后侧而不是面对包装12的加热带70提供给加热板36。加热带可由电源(未示出)经线72供电。图5A展示了使用两个加热带70的本发明,但是为了获得最佳的温度控制,应当可以使用任意数量的带。例如,图5B展示了四个加热带70。
加热板可保持在例如接近140℃-170℃的一个温度,但是根据包装材料以及其他条件,能预见更高或者更低的温度。另外,加热级应当可以设置成不同温度。例如,第一级和第二级可以保持在例如150℃的第一温度,而第三级和第四级可以设置为不同的温度,例如170℃。
热量可以由电阻或者电感加热或者以任何其他常规的方式提供。为了监控温度,可将一个热电偶74插在任何或者所有级。加热板36可通过任何方式与电机37相连,例如通过螺栓或者通过任何其他常规的包括胶粘、铆接的连接或者固定方式,或者可以一体化形成。
本发明前面的描述举例说明并描述了本发明。另外,公开的内容仅展示和描述了本发明的优选实施方式,但是应当理解的是,本发明能用于其他不同的组合、变型以及环境,并且本发明可在本文所表述的发明概念的范围内变化或者变型,并且与上述教导、和/或包装尤其是香烟包装材料领域的技能和知识相对应。
本文上述描述的实施方式还意在解释实践本发明的已知最佳模式,并且使本领域的其他技术人员以这种或者其他实施方式利用本发明,并且采用特定应用所需的不同变形或者本发明的用途来利用本发明。另外,这些描述并不意在将本发明限制在本文描述的形式。同样的,附加权利要求可解释为包括可替代的实施方式。
Claims (20)
1、一种用于包装的加热板,其包括:
第一级,其包括用来与在包装件周围折叠的包装材料接触的平表面;
第二级,其包括第一凹陷区和第一非凹陷区,其中第一非凹陷区包括四个用来与两个包装件的包装材料接触的表面;
第三级,其包括第二凹陷区和第二非凹陷区,其中第二非凹陷区包括两个相邻的用来与两个包装件的包装材料接触的H形表面;以及
矩形形状的第四级,其包括第三凹陷区和第三非凹陷区,其中非凹陷区包括四个用来与两个包装件的包装材料接触的梯形形状的表面。
2、如权利要求1所述的加热板,其中,使用多个独立的加热装置向加热板供应热量。
3、如权利要求2所述的加热板,其中,通过两个独立的加热装置向加热板供应热量。
4、如权利要求3所述的加热板,其中,加热装置维持在大约140℃至170℃之间的温度。
5、如权利要求3所述的加热板,其中,加热装置维持在大约150℃的温度。
6、如权利要求2所述的加热板,其中,使用四个独立的加热装置向加热板供应热量。
7、如权利要求6所述的加热板,其中,独立的加热装置中的两个维持在大约140℃至160℃之间的温度,而独立的加热装置中的两个维持在大约160℃至180℃之间的温度。
8、如权利要求6所述的加热板,其中,独立的加热装置中的两个设置在与第一级和第二级直接相对的加热板的一侧上,并且这两个加热装置维持在150℃的温度,而独立的加热装置中的两个设置在与第三级和第四级直接相对的加热板的一侧上,并且这两个加热装置维持在170℃的温度。
9、如权利要求1所述的加热板,其中,位于矩形形状的第四级的第三凹陷区具有一个第一凹陷部和一个第二凹陷部,其中第二凹陷部比第一凹陷部凹陷的更多,并且其中第二凹陷部为矩形形状。
10、如权利要求1所述的加热板,其中,第一级在包装件周围预热包装材料,第二级沿包装材料的边缘实施粘合,第三级在包装件周围密封包装材料,并且第四级在包装件周围收缩包装材料。
11、如权利要求1所述的加热板,其中,矩形形状的第一级、第一非凹陷区、第二非凹陷区以及第三非凹陷区都位于同一个平面上。
12、一种在香烟包装中使用的加热设备,其包括:
加热区,其包括一个多级加热板;
第一往复装置,其以线性的方式使一组香烟包装经过加热区,并沿着多级加热板的多个级前进;以及
第二往复装置,其向内移动多级加热板,以使加热板与该组香烟包装接触,并且向外移动多级加热板,以使该组香烟包装移动经过加热区。
13、如权利要求12所述的加热设备,其中,当该组香烟包装以线性的方式前进经过加热区时,该组香烟包装与多级加热板的多个区域接触。
14、如权利要求13所述的加热设备,其中,在该组香烟包装和多级加热板之间出现的每次接触都相应于一个加热级。
15、如权利要求12所述的加热设备,还包括一个装载通道,多组包装通过该装载通道前进进入加热区。
16、如权利要求12所述的加热设备,其中,第一往复装置包括往复的臂本体、可枢转的杠杆臂以及弹簧机构。
17、一种在包装件周围密封并且收缩包装材料的方法,其包括:
将包装材料与第一加热级接触来沿着折叠边缘预热包装材料;
将包装材料与第二加热级接触来定位粘合包装材料;
将包装材料与第三加热级接触来在包装件周围密封包装材料;以及
将包装材料与第四加热级接触来收缩包装材料。
18、如权利要求17所述的方法,其中,第四加热级是一个加热板。
19、一种香烟包装,其依照权利要求17所述的方法来密封。
20、一种香烟包装,其由权利要求12所述的设备密封。
