技术领域
本发明涉及利用填充了流动食品的片状包装材料管生产连续的密封包装的成型爪。
具体地,本发明涉及可用于包装机的成型爪,可利用包装材料管连续生产流动食品的密封包装。
背景技术
许多流动食品,比如水果汁,巴氏杀菌或超高温处理(UHT)的牛奶,葡萄酒,番茄汁等是在由无菌包装材料制成的包装中销售。
这种包装的典型示例是用于液体或可流动食品的平行六面体包装盒,称为Tetra Brik Aseptic(注册商标),该包装盒是通过折叠和密封层压包装材料卷来生产的。该包装材料具有多层结构,包括一层纤维材料,即纸,在其两面覆盖了热封塑料,即聚乙烯材料层。
在长时间存放产品,比如UHT牛奶,的无菌包装的情况下,包装材料还包括一层隔绝氧气的材料,例如可由铝箔形成,其施加到热封塑料材料层上,并在铝箔上覆盖另一层热封塑料材料,最终形成包装的接触食品的内表面。
如已经知道的,这种包装在全自动包装机上生产,利用成卷的包装材料形成连续的管。成卷的包装材料在包装机上进行杀菌,如通过施加化学消毒剂,如过氧化氢溶液,在灭菌后清除消毒剂,可通过加热从包装材料的表面挥发。
这样的无菌包装材料卷保持在密闭的无菌环境中,并被折叠成圆筒并沿纵向密封形成连续管。包装材料管沿平行于轴线的垂直方向输送,并连续地填充无菌的或消毒处理过的食品,材料管通过成形台输送,在成形台两对或多对成型爪循环和连续地作用于管,沿等距离的截面处进行密封,形成连续的通过各个横向密封条互相连接的枕状包装带,即密封条在正交于管轴线的水平方向延伸。
更具体地,根据已知的技术方案,每对爪在底部铰接到沿与包装材料管平行的垂直引导件上下移动的滑动件,这样,当滑动件在顶端中心位置和底端中心位置之间垂直移动时,爪基本上以“书的方式”绕包装材料管打开和闭合。
为了在沿横向密封包装材料管,各对爪具有与管的相对侧面配合的密封件,其包括加热元件,以局部熔化互相接触的包装材料的塑料层;一个或多个弹性材料制成的压力件,提供机械支撑使管子夹紧到要求的压力。
更具体地,在隔绝层由导电材料片如铝箔形成的包装材料一般用所谓的感应加热密封工艺进行热密封,其中,当两个爪绕管夹紧时,产生感应电流进行局部加热铝片,因此导致热封塑料材料局部熔化。
当完成热封操作,支承于两个爪中一个上的切割件被包装材料管促动和与管互相作用,沿横向密封条的中心线切割,从包装材料管的底端分割出枕状包装。因此,底端是横向密封的,一旦滑动件到达底端中心位置,爪打开以避免与管的上部干涉,枕状包装输送到最终的折叠台,进行机械折叠形成最终的平行六面体形状。
在所介绍和显示的已知技术方案中,例如,欧洲专利申请EP-A-1172299,密封件一般支承在各对爪的水平杆部分。在杆部分之上设有朝前打开的C形成型片,可在相对的密封件进行热密封后,互相配合形成预定形状和体积的空腔,围绕包装材料管并使其形成矩形截面结构。
更具体地,各个成型片包括端壁,从端壁相对的侧向边分别平行于侧壁延伸,与另一成型片的各侧向壁配合,以围绕包装材料管。
为了控制对正在制造的枕状包装的充填,各对成型片的端壁具有各自的凸出部分,可施加压力到或“压迫”包装的侧壁,限制其中食品的数量,得到希望重量的包装。
尽管总的来说相当有效,上述包装填充控制系统仍有改进的空间。
具体地,在小包装的情况下,即具有小面积的侧壁,要实现希望的压迫作用,必须使用相对成型片的端壁明显凸出的凸出部分,这样可导致包装形成不可接受的形状。此外,即使使用明显凸出的凸出部分也不能确保包装有要求的重量。
发明内容
本发明的一个目的是提供一种成型爪,可利用片状包装材料管生产连续的密封包装,可提供对前面所述缺点的简单和低成本的解决方案。
根据本发明,提供了一种成型爪,可利用填充流动食品的片状包装材料管生产连续的密封包装,并沿平行于纵轴线的方向输送。所述爪包括密封机构,用于密封所述管的截面;和成型机构,可施加预定形状到两个连续的密封截面之间的管,所述成型机构包括可与所述管相互作用的第一和第二表面,分别沿横向于和平行于所述管轴线的方向延伸,其特征在于,所述第一表面包括凸出部分,可施加压力到正在形成的包装以控制充填。

具体实施方式
图1中的数字1代表整体的成型台,可生产连续的流动食品,如巴氏消毒或高温消毒的牛奶、水果汁、葡萄酒等,的密封包装2。
更具体地,台1可结合包装机(未显示)来连续地利用片状包装材料管3生产包装2。
包装材料具有多层结构(未显示),包括一层纤维材料,一般是纸,两个侧面覆盖热封塑料材料层,如聚乙烯层。在用于长期保存的食品,如UHT牛奶,的无菌包装的情况下,包装材料还包括一层氧气隔绝材料,如铝箔,其施加到热封塑料材料层上,并被另一层热封塑料材料覆盖,最终形成接触食品的包装内表面。

如可从专利申请EP-A-1172299知道的,台1与管3相互作用,在等距离的截面处热封,形成通过横向密封条4连接的枕状包装2垂直带。更具体地,台1沿两个平行的密封线(未显示)热封各密封条4。密封条4然后以已知的方式在密封线之间切开分割出包装2。

各对爪10a,10b在底部铰接到相对的滑动件11,滑动件沿平行于包装材料管3的相对的垂直引导件12上下移动。更具体地,各对爪10a,10b在通过管3的轴线A的垂直平面P的相对侧对称延伸,并绕各自水平轴线B铰接到相对的滑动件11,以便当滑动件11上下移动时绕管3以基本上“书的形式”打开和闭合。
引导件12位于管3的径向相对的侧面,并相对正交于平面P和通过管3轴线的平面(未显示)对称定位。

爪10a,10b的支撑臂17的突出部分分别设置了密封件18,19,在所显示的示例中,具有四边形杆的形式,可与管3相互作用。如附图中所示,密封件18可结合如感应器20,具有两个直线水平的作用表面21,可在包装材料铝层中产生电流和产生局部的焦耳效应,熔化包装材料的互相接触塑料层;密封件19可结合一对弹性材料制成的压力片22,和提供机械支撑以夹紧管3使感应器20的作用表面21达到所要求的压力。
上述各个密封件18,19和爪10a,10b的支撑臂17安装有前开口的C形成型片23,在相对的密封件18,19进行横向密封后,成型片互相配合形成规定形状和体积的空腔,围绕并使管3成形为矩形截面结构。
更具体地,各个爪10a,10b的成型片23包括端壁24,从端壁相对的侧边分别延伸有平行侧壁25,可与另一爪10a,10b的成型片23的侧壁25配合围绕包装材料管3。
各个成型片23因此形成可与管3互相作用的表面26,并沿平行于管3的轴线A的方向延伸。
为了控制对枕状包装2的填充,各对成型片23的表面26最好在其端壁24设置凸出部分27,以施加压力或压迫包装2的主体部分的相对壁。
本发明的一重要特征是各个爪10a,10b也具有另外的从表面29凸出的凸出部分28,形成相对的密封件18,19,横向于轴线A延伸,面对相对的成型片23。即,表面29构成了各个密封件18,19沿管3的运动方向的最下游部分。
当形成各个包装2时,各对爪10a,10b的凸出部分28压到相对的密封件18,19进行密封的过渡部分6的面7,与另一对爪10a,10b的凸出部分27施加到包装2主体部分5的动作一起,压迫包装2,就是说,限制在包装中的食品数量,以控制各个包装2离开台1时的重量,接下来,离开包装机的重量。
根据图4显示的本发明的不同实施例,设有各个凸出部分28的密封件18,19最好结合到欧洲专利申请EP-A-0887263中介绍和公开的链式形成单元或台,整体用数字1`表示,该专利的全部内容本文引用参考。
具体地,如已经知道的,台1`主要包括一对链传送带30,31,设有各自的第一和第二爪10a`,10b`(只显示出一对)。爪支撑各自的密封件18,19,可互相配合与沿轴线A输送的包装材料管3互相作用。
传送带30,31形成各自的循环路径Q和R,各个爪10a`,10b`沿该路径输送,路径在轴线A的两侧延伸。
各传送带30,31,包括带活节的链条32(只是部分显示),链条沿相对的路径Q,R延伸,其连接由各个爪10a`,10b`形成。
密封件18,19可与各个爪10a`,10b`的主体整体形成,或固定其上。
与对爪10a,10b的介绍和显示类似,爪10a`,10b`可在其顶部设置各自的成型片23。
根据本发明的成型爪10a,10b,10a`,10b`的优点从前面的介绍可以清楚了解。
具体地,除了成型片23上的凸出部分27,在各对爪10a,10b,10a`,10b`的密封件18,19的表面29设置凸出部分28可精确控制压力和最终形成的包装2的重量,不会损害包装的形状。这主要因为另外的凸出部分28可使成型片23上设置不明显凸出的凸出部分27,因此减少了作用于小包装侧壁的凸出部分27的负面影响。
很清楚,对所介绍和显示的成型爪10a,10b,10a`,10b`可进行改变,这并未脱离附属权利要求限定的范围。

6.根据前面权利要求2到5中任一项所述的成型爪,其特征在于,所述爪包括C形的成型片(23),形成朝所述管(3)的所述第二表面(26),其具有所述另外的凸出部分(27)。
7.根据权利要求6所述的成型爪,其特征在于,所述成型片(23)相对所述管(3)的移动方向位于所述夹紧部分(18,19)的上游。
