Abstract

Description

本发明涉及一种复合板,应用此种复合板和采用深度成型法,可制造浴缸内壳,其中将一层聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯〔poly(methyl    methacrylate)〕(PMMA,丙烯酸酯玻璃)覆盖在丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物〔acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene〕(ABS)的基料上。
EP-A-0225500公开了一种可供选择的制造浴缸内壳的材料,通过适当地选择与应用丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(ABS)制造的基料一起共挤塑的丙烯酸酯层的熔体指数,此种材料的质量可大约相当于催化的丙烯酸酯玻璃的质量。在此种情况下,衡量此种浴缸嵌件的质量标志是,根据有关的CEN规格,用该浴缸可经受到的热水和冷水来交替地将其装满,直至该浴缸首次出现可觉察的细毛细裂纹时为止的装水周期数。在此类试验中,浴缸是交替地用95℃热水和12℃冷水来装满的,而所采用的试验条件是精确规定的。
此发明是根据所规定的试验在这方面不是十分实际的经验来进行的,因为这些试验并没有考虑到,在许多国家中所容许的做为洗涤剂组分的侵蚀性溶剂对浴缸内壳的外观和机械性质的影响。因此,本发明的目的是,用尽可能低的附加成本,来提高浴缸内壳对化学物质的耐受性,而不会再次损失EP-A-0225500已经达到的标准的其他特性。
解决此问题的一种措施是,提供一种丙烯酸酯玻璃覆盖层,而在此丙烯酸酯玻璃覆盖层上又具有一层由30-70%(重量)聚偏氟乙烯〔polyvinylidenefluoride〕(PVDF)和其余部分是聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯组成的面漆。
令人意想不到的是,一种厚度小于0.5毫米,例如甚至是0.1毫米的覆盖层就已经足够了。尽管面漆的厚度极小,但是,正如EP-A-0225500中所叙述的,如果将基料、覆盖层和面漆一起通过一种平片模头来进行共挤塑,则所制造的新型复合板是能够成功地用于挤塑过程的,在挤塑过程中,形成该三个层的材料是通过不同的料道直接喂进平片模头的,而模头的宽度就相当于最后产品的宽度。
聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)的良好的化学性质和挤塑性是众所周知的;但是,如果我们将纯的聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)的面漆涂在复合板(参看DE-A-2938462)的丙烯酸酯玻璃覆盖层上,则由丙烯酸酯玻璃提供给复合板的光泽就会重新失去,因为纯聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)是不透光的,而仅仅是具有一种固有的乳白色的半透明物质。同样令人意想不到的是,通过本发明所建议的加入甲基丙烯酸酯,面漆即提供与没有涂面漆的复合板相同的光泽和硬度。完全预料不到的是,涂一层此种很薄的面漆,还增加了按上述试验方法进行的装水周期数;此种情况很可能是由于具体用于此种用途的聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)具有600%的裂断伸长率所造成的,因此本发明的混合料是不脆的而且形成毛细裂纹的趋势比纯丙烯酸酯玻璃的更低。所观察到的在面漆和丙烯酸酯玻璃覆盖层之间的极好的接合是由于面漆中含有大量的用作该覆盖层的相同材料所造成的。
在下面的一个实施方案中,将更充分地叙述本发明的详细内容。
新复合板可包括,例如一块几毫米厚的支承板和包括随意选择使用的丙烯酸酯增强的丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯二烯共聚物(ABS)。第二层是一种1至2毫米厚的丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(ABS),作为1.2毫米厚的丙烯酸酯玻璃〔聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯〕(PMMA)覆盖层的基料。丙烯酸酯玻璃〔聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯〕和聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)的新颖的混合料是作为面漆。
在本发明中应用的聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)是,例如由Pennwalt公司以商品名Kynarn740/741销售的。此种材料在232℃和100秒-1的剪切速率下,具有21,000泊的熔体粘度。
选择面漆中的最佳混合料比的工作迄今尚未完成,但用60%聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)和40%聚甲基丙烯 酸甲酯(PMMA)的比例已取得了超过先有技术EP-A-P225500所叙述的相当大的改进;这些改进不但说明了相当昂贵的聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)的成本是合算的,而且还说明了应用一种附加的覆盖层是正确的。

Claims (2)

1、一种复合板,应用此种复合板和采用深度成型法,可制造浴缸内壳,其中将一层聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯[poly(methyl methacrylate)](PMMA,丙烯酸酯玻璃)覆盖在丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物[acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene](ABS)的基料上,以及提供一层由30-70%(重量)聚偏氟乙烯[polyvinylidene fluoride](PVDF)和其余部分是聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯组成的面漆。
2、权利要求1的复合板,其中面漆的厚度小于0.5毫米。
