技术领域
本发明涉及一种可伸缩的转向摆臂轴,尤其是一种转向中间轴,它具有一个内杆和一个在其上防扭转地并且借助一个滚动轴承装置可纵向移动地进行引导的外管,其中相对于内杆和外管可以轴向移动的滚动轴承装置具有许多可滚动地保持在一个保持架中的滚动体。
背景技术
一种这样的转向摆臂轴例如可以从DE 38 13 422 A1中了解到。这种转向摆臂轴的内杆和外管具有一个相互一致的横截面,优选为一种多边形横截面,因此,可以防止两个部件相互扭转。
通过一个布置在外管和内杆之间的滚动轴承装置,它们沿着纵轴方向可以彼此相对移动。因此,滚动轴承装置具有一些圆柱形的滚动体,这些滚动体横向于移动方向延伸并且可滚动地支撑在一个保持架中。在这种情况下,滚动体支撑在内杆或外管的相互面对的表面上。
在操作条件下,转向摆臂轴受到一种扭应力,其中扭力通过滚动轴承装置进行传递。
对于转向摆臂轴的一种完整功能来讲,使滚动轴承装置持久地保持相同的定位是绝对必要的。由于在内杆上相对纵向移动外管时的摩擦力,可能会导致滚动轴承装置的一种不受控制的向前运动,其中,在向前推动外管时,滚动轴承装置的移动距离相对于向后移动稍有不同。在持久操作时,通过增加相应产生的距离不同量,可以使滚动轴承装置产生一种漫游(Wanderung),以致不再能确保转向摆臂轴的功能。
发明内容
正是在转向摆臂轴算作机动车的安全结构件的情况下,这种性能变得特别重要。直到现在,没有发现这种问题的一种满意解决方案,因此本发明的目的是研制一种这样的转向摆臂轴,从而避免滚动轴承装置产生一种不受控制的运动,并且因此提高转向摆臂轴的安全性能。
根据本发明,提出一种可伸缩的转向摆臂轴,它具有一个内杆和一个在其上防扭转地并且借助一个滚动轴承装置可纵向移动地进行引导的外管,其中相对于内杆和外管可以轴向运动的滚动轴承装置具有许多可滚动地保持在一个滚动轴承保持架中的滚动体,其特征在于,至少一个随动件支承在滚动轴承保持架中,该随动件形锁合地啮合到内杆和外管的壁中,并且所述随动件具有一个齿轮,该齿轮的齿啮合到内杆的一种啮合齿和外管的一种啮合齿中。
通过转向摆臂轴的这种结构布置,现在可以实现滚动轴承装置的强制引导,即实际上排除了这种不受控制的轴向运动,继而实际上排除滚动轴承装置的所述“漫游”。这不仅适用于有意地伸缩转向摆臂轴,也适用于通过由操作条件决定的震动和摆动而产生的负荷,这些负荷会作用到滚动轴承装置上并且此外还导致一种相应的纵向运动。
根据本发明的一种有利的布置,随动件设计成一个齿轮形式,该随动件可旋转地支撑在滚动轴承保持架的一个开口中,另一方面啮合到内杆的一种按齿条意义设计的啮合齿中并且啮合到外管的一种相同的啮合齿中,其中内杆的啮合齿设置在外表面上,而外管的啮合齿设置在内表面上。
如所述的那样,通过把随动件形锁合地啮合到内杆和外管中,一方面可以实现滚动轴承装置相对于内杆或外杆的一种强制性的相对运动,另一方面,通过设计成齿轮的随动件的滚动可以非常灵活地实现内杆相对于外管的轴向的相对运动,使得相对于没有这种随动件的可伸缩的转向摆臂轴而言,实际上在功能流程或操纵舒适性方面没有不同。
根据本发明的另一个构想,作为注塑件的齿轮由一种具有所需要的耐磨强度的塑料制成,而且不需要特殊的结构措施用以支承在滚动轴承保持架中,此外有意义的是,保持架同样由一种塑料制成。
齿轮在滚动轴承保持架中的一种浮动支承,还可以方便地安装整个转向摆臂轴,因为各个部件即具有套上的、安装齿轮的滚动轴承装置的内杆和在其上进行引导的外管可以非常方便地组装在一起。
可以想象到内杆和外管的啮合齿的制造非常简单,因为为此只需压制出横向于纵轴延伸的槽,在滚动时,齿轮的齿可以啮合到这些槽中。
原则上,相对简单地压制这些构成啮合齿的槽就足够了。沿主轴线,齿槽相互间的一个均匀的、与齿轮的齿一致的距离是重要的。

具体实施方式
在图1中示出了一根可伸缩的转向摆臂轴尤其是一根转向中间轴,它具有一个管形内杆1和一个在其上防扭转地并且借助一个滚动轴承装置3可纵向移动地进行引导的外管2。内杆1、外管2和滚动轴承装置3的横截面设计成大约三角形,该滚动轴承装置具有一个滚动轴承保持架4和一些支撑于其中的、以其旋转轴横向于内杆1或外管2的移动方向布置的、滚动轴承滚子形式的滚动体5。
在滚动轴承保持架4的两个各自安装圆柱形滚动体5的侧面之间,在一个所形成的中间面12中设置一个随动件6,该随动件设计成一个两侧连接有端轴颈8的齿轮7的形式。
随动件6通过这些端轴颈8支撑在中间面12的轴颈支座10上,所述轴颈支座10邻接一个开口9的相对置的侧面,该开口被齿轮7完全通过,即开口9在这个区域内形成一个窗口。
在这种情况下,齿轮7的直径大于在该区域中的滚动轴承保持架4的厚度,因此齿轮7的齿在上侧和下侧伸出中间面12。
为了在滚动轴承装置3、内杆1以及外管2之间形成一种形锁合,内杆1在其朝向中间面12的侧面上具有一种啮合齿11,在该侧面的两侧分别邻接一个工作面13,啮合齿由一些槽构成,这些槽相互以相等的距离横向于内杆1的纵轴方向延伸,并且齿轮7的齿啮合到这些槽中。
在这种意义上,外管2也配置有一种啮合齿11,该啮合齿设置在外管2的内侧面上,并且齿轮7的齿啮合到所述啮合齿中。
通过如此形成的形锁合(Formschluss),在来回移动过程中,在内杆1相对于外管2进行相对运动时,滚动轴承装置3精确地与内杆1和外管2的纵向移动成比例地进行运动。排除了如现有技术中所描述的漫游。

Claims (6)

1.一种可伸缩的转向摆臂轴,它具有一个内杆(1)和一个在其上防扭转地并且借助一个滚动轴承装置(3)可纵向移动地进行引导的外管(2),其中相对于内杆(1)和外管(2)可以轴向运动的滚动轴承装置(3)具有许多可滚动地保持在一个滚动轴承保持架(4)中的滚动体(5),其特征在于,至少一个随动件(6)支承在滚动轴承保持架(4)中,该随动件形锁合地啮合到内杆(1)和外管(2)的壁中,并且所述随动件(6)具有一个齿轮(7),该齿轮的齿啮合到内杆(1)的一种啮合齿(11)和外管(2)的一种啮合齿(11)中。

5.如权利要求1所述的转向摆臂轴,其特征在于,内杆(1)和外管(2)的啮合齿(11)由槽构成,这些槽横向于内杆(1)或外管(2)的纵轴方向延伸并且按照齿轮(7)的齿距相互间隔开地进行设置。
