The key 13 of the bushel has two parts of different diameter; one of which the channel M serves as the passage for the carbureted gases and the other, 15, which has two functions: it serves, through the axial duct 16, of the key and by the vertical duct 17 formed in the body of the carburettor, for starting (you mo- leather and, there, nuarche at idle speed of the latter-, it also seven, by the conduits 6 and 5 and the caiial '7 praitique clans the key of the bushel, to be closed More or minus the conduit 5 to produce a vacuum in the chamber fi in order to deliver a greater quantity of breakable.
The lower part of the coin-nuinic duct 5, for idling, with the duct 17 by the intermediate said channel 18 mil is in relation with the latter, by the adjustable screw-point 19.
The control is effected by the single lever 20 which cooperates with two adjustable stops intended to limit its stroke, following the requirements of this adjustment of the carburetor.
The operation, this device is as follows: When starting, the key 13 closes the gas key passage and the vacuum produced by the engine acts, through the opening 21 tA the camil 16, in the duct 17, which creates a strong depression around the coniriiie part that the needle screw 19 sucks the fuel from the duct 18. The air coming from the conduils 6 and '7 mixes intimately with the fuel, and the proportion of the mixture is easily adjustable at using the needle screw 19 without stopping the engine.
Depending on the angular displacements of the key and consequently (the opening 14, we see that, when the latter starts to open the carburizing chamber, the duct 16 begins to close and the depression is produced in the area of the diffuser 3 , the fuel which is in the nozzle 2 then being tMbité; the quantity (the fuel which is in this last thus achieves a fuel-rich carburetion and the passage from the hopscotch at idle to running in full load is carried out d 'in a progressive way.
While the opening 14 of the key moves at a certain angle for full coverage, the duct 7 maintains the duct 5 in communication with the duct 6 and the air entering the chamber 4. is maximum.
Under these conditions, the vacuum <U> which </U> prevails in this free range determines the suction of the fuel and a very intimate mixture occurs before it binds out of the nozzle 2 to reach the diffuser where the mixture ends. to operate. The adjustment of the distance, separating the conical part <B> of the </B> channel 1 and that of the movable plunger 8, as well as the adjustment of the cylindrical rod 11 of the fuel inlet, is carried out, polishing each zenre of fuel, after having removed the bolichon 22, in such a way that operation is obtained at full load, the fuel saving before the valve 15 of the key has started to block the air duct 5.
From this moment, the opening 14 of the key continues its course, its coverings being arranged so as not to strangle the gases. The valve 15 begins to block the duct 5 and the access of atmospheric air into the chamber 4 is made difficult. In this way. the depression increases and, consequently, the suction increases and the mixture becomes more fuel-filled.
The a.nil) litLirie des (-Iér) laeei-iieiits an.-ulaires (the la el "12 is adjusted by the stops of the lever 20.c.
Figs. <B> 6 </B> and <B> 7 </B> represent a form of execution clans. which the injector t '. instead of being horizontal, is arranged vertically. The nozzle 2 'remains vertical, but -1 is mobile and provided with small orifices <B> 7'. </B> This arrangement considerably facilitates the adjustment of the depression in the air suction chamber At ', which communicates -with the atmosphere through the <B> 5 'pipe. </B>
In a conical recess of the screw <B> 8 '</B> engages it only needle <B> 11', </B> which is disposed concentrically to the nozzle and serves <B> for </B> adjust the fuel flow rate, which is operated from the upper part of the appliance. In order to immobilize the needle in position after adjustment, it is held by means of a spring 12 '.
The key 13 'has two connected parts (one rigid way, the part 14' serves as a passage for the carburized gases, the other part being constituted by a lever which carries the body (the valve 15 ') at its end. closes the condifit 5 'in order to establish a negative pressure in the chamber 1' in order to deliver a greater quantity of fuel.
The operation is as follows: When starting, or when idling, the key 13 'blocks the passage 22. The depression produced <B> by the </B> pistots tells the suction pipe 21 'causes, in V, the suction of the air by the pipe <B> 5', </B> completely opened by the valve 15 ', and that of the bustible wedge which flows from the reservoir at a consiatted level. . The mixture thus formed passes through the hole <B> 8 ', </B> rises below <B> the </B> rod 11', exits (the latter through the adjustable orifices 9. by means (the screw 9 ', crosses the orifices 10 and arrives, by the conduit W6.
in the 2V suction pipe.
During <B> </B> running <B> at, </B> normal power, the key 13 'discovers the circle 22. The mixture formed in 4' then rises in the annular space formed around the rod II 'and escapes through the orifices 7' where it mixes with the additional air entered through 22 '. Conduit 5 'remains open; when it is necessary to increase the pressure of the engine still further, the, ie- valve 15 'closes this duct little by little.
