CARBURETOR DEVELOPMENT "
The object of the present patent application is an improvement in carburetors specifically aimed at the means of erring in economical idling of the engine and giving satisfaction from all points of view.
The means envisaged consist of supplying the engine with power when the throttle or carburetor adjustment flap is closed, by a flow of air and a flow of air highly saturated with gasoline, both opening separately beyond the regulating flap into the gasoline. connection pipe and starting one from the upper part of the other from the lower part of a well or cavity open to the outside air, in an adjustable manner at its upper part, while the bottom of the well is bathed by the water table of gasoline established by the constant level of the carburetor.
In order to bring out the above discussion more clearly, the

accompanying drawings show:
Fig. 1 partial stern elevation in a carburetor showing the starting orifices arranged in the well or cavity, the lower part of which is bathed by the layer of the carburettor
Fig. an external partial cut,
ZFig.3 a partial longitudinal section through the connection pipe to the motor.
Referring to the figures above, the body of the carburetor is represented by 1, its flange for connection to the engine by 12 and the tubing proper by 11.
The envisaged well or cavity represented by 3 is supplied with fuel via channel 2 or a level is established, for example along xy In 4 figure 'the orifioe starting from a pipe opening at 6 in the tubing 11 see fig. 2 and 3.
5 shows the orifice of another pipe or channel opening for example at 7 into the pipe 11 * The orifices 6 and 7 are both arranged beyond. of the adjusting butterfly valve 8
The upper part of well 3 is closed by a perforated stopper ±. , on which can be screwed other small plugs 10 calibrated internally so as to regulate by the interohangeability of these, the air inlet section in the well 3
Operation takes place from then on:
-As soon as the engine is put to idle (throttle 8 closed) the outside air enters through 10 into the well A and under the engine vacuum, part of the air enters through and the orifice 7 into the pipe 11 of the engine, while the other part being loaded with fuel, enters through 4 and the orifice 6 in said pipe 11 The flow rates of orifices 6 and 7 mix and then form the appropriate mixture for the idling of the engine.
It is understood that by adjusting the air passage section of the small plug. 10, it is possible to form the suitable mixture,
These means can be applied to any kind of carburetor.
