Fig. 8 im Querschnitt eine weitere erfindungsgemässe Einrichtung.
The invention relates to a doctor device according to the preamble of claim 1.
The invention has for its object to provide a doctor device which should be usable for widely different substance application quantities, substance viscosities, contact forces, material properties of the substrate to be processed, arrangement positions of the doctor bar and production speeds and for practically any working widths, in particular one and the same doctor bar should be used for (sub) working widths assigned to different substances in order to use the doctor device to perform a wide variety of doctor blade processing operations and in particular the processing of liquid and / or flowable pasty substances on substrates such as carpets, foils, papers, cardboard, nonwoven, felt or. the like to be able to perform.
According to the invention, the object is achieved in combination with the features of the device mentioned at the outset by inserting body walls between the substrate surface section, the wall strip, the squeegee strip and the holding / guide strip, which are of the same cross-section as the substance space cross section and thereby seal the substance space on the transverse side the substrate surface section, the wall strip and on the squeegee strip and possibly bear against the holding / guide bar and that the wall bar is arranged so as to be movable relative to the substrate surface in the direction transverse to the substrate surface such that it lies against the substrate surface with a contact surface and / or edge for sealing the substance space.
A major advantage of the device according to the invention is that it is equally suitable for application machines with relatively large working widths (e.g. B. 1 m and more) and with relatively narrow working widths (e.g. B. 0.5 m) can be used. With the device according to the invention, the smallest application thickness tolerances of less than +/- 0.02 mm have been achieved practically for any working widths. In particular, it has been found that these results are guaranteed both with economical and with plentiful applications.
Due to the insertion of the body walls between the wall bar and the squeegee bar as well as the holding / guide bar in combination with the relative movement arrangement of the wall bar against the work surface has succeeded in furnishing with substances of different viscosities, i. H. to be fed and operated with relatively thin and pasty substances that are just flowing. There is always a clearly defined application of substance with the body walls. The device according to the invention is particularly simple to build due to the avoidance of magnetically pressed sealing strips which are conventionally to be provided with magnetic pressure and is also easy to handle, assemble and clean and maintain.
The magnetic pressure of the squeegee strip by forming the same with a magnetizable material and / or by exerting magnetic force on magnetizable parts of the holding / guiding strip and transferring this force to the squeegee strip, in combination with the arrangement according to the invention, ensures the use of dimensionally stable squeegee strips which, on the one hand, in their sliding-movable arrangement contribute to the sealing of the substance space and on the other hand with a cross-section dimensioned for a relatively small working width with the same cross-section can also be used for the largest working widths that are up to ten times as large as the smallest working width.
It is particularly advantageous that the squeegee holding / sliding space is retained in a device according to the invention for the use of squeegee strips of different lengths with the same cross section, so that special adaptations of the holding / guiding strip and / or the body walls for different working widths are not required. It should be noted that the squeegee bar has a modulus of elasticity that is suitable for adapting the bending to the work surface.
With regard to a device according to the invention, in which the wall strip forms a main support of the device, it is particularly advantageous if the body walls are inserted between the wall strip and the holding / guide strip by means of a clamp and / or screw connection.
A particularly simple construction of the device according to the invention consists in the fact that the squeegee is in direct sliding contact with the body walls.
By means of a displaceable and / or displaceable arrangement of the body walls between the wall strip and doctor strip or The holding / guide bar allows the desired width of the substance space to be set in a simple manner, wherein several substance spaces can expediently be formed next to one another with a corresponding number of body walls. It, the sealing edges of the body walls z. B. to be designed as edge-like edges or corners. As a result, different substances can be applied in sharp delimitation next to one another in order to carry out a strip coating or patterning.
It is very expedient to form the sealing blocks in each case from sealing body parts firmly bonded to one another, as a result of which sealing bodies adapted to different partial cross sections of the substance space can be produced in a simple manner. A very particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention consists in inserting a pressure-elastic element formed by a strip or a layer between two sealing body parts of a sealing block in order to support the sealing body part coming into contact with the substrate surface in a pressure-elastic manner. With regard to such a measure, it can also be expedient if the sealing edge of a body wall coming into contact with the substrate surface is formed by a pressure-elastic element which is positively connected to the body wall, in particular by means of a plug connection.
It is particularly advantageous to pivotally or tiltably mount the wall ledge for substance-sealing contact against the substrate surface about an axis extending parallel with the doctor device along the longitudinal direction, the wall ledge with its own weight and / or magnetic force acting on a magnetizable edge ledge part to bear against the substrate . A continuous, magnetisable bar across the working width is expediently fastened to the wall bar in the area of the wall bar contact edge / surface that comes to the sealing system against the substrate surface. Another embodiment consists in that the wall strip for the substance-sealing contact against the substrate surface is arranged to be movable in the direction perpendicular or almost perpendicular to the substrate surface.
To adapt the sealing area of the wall strip to the substrate surface, it is particularly advantageous to arrange a pressure-elastic sealing and sliding element which is continuous over the working width and which is adapted to the counterpart in the form of the part of the wall strip which comes into contact with the substrate surface.
The device according to the invention is particularly suitable for the application of hot melt substances. For this purpose, a heater for melting the hot-melt substances is arranged in or on the wall strip, which is preferably provided with a heat-insulating wall.
A special embodiment consists in arranging the device according to the invention in combination with a device designed at the same time as a counter-device and application device in order to provide a substrate web with a back coating at the same time.
Devices designed in accordance with the invention are suitable in any room arrangement for sealing the substance space and magnetically pressing the squeegee strip against a substrate surface, so that, optionally, applications from the side, from below or from above can be provided on a substrate, in particular very advantageously on the circumference of a substrate the roller guiding the substrate web.
Further advantages, expediencies, design types and exemplary embodiments of the invention emerge from the dependent claims and from the schematic drawing described below. Show it

Fig. 8 in cross section a further device according to the invention.
Fig. 1 shows a device 1 according to the invention with a wall strip 2 in the form of a beam-shaped angle profile beam which extends at least over the working width parallel to the longitudinal extent of the device 1 and which by means of screw connections 3 and spacer sleeves 4 with a guide strip 9 which has a squeegee strip 9 and is rectangular in cross section 5 is connected, which extends over the working width in a parallel arrangement with the wall bar 2. As a result, a space 6 with an angled cross section with a front space 6b facing a material web 14 and a rear space 6a is formed between the wall strip 2, the guide strip 5 and the squeegee strip 9, the wall strip 2 with a sealing edge 22 on a vertically guided substrate web 14 is present.
It is particularly advantageous that the space 6b widens in cross section in the direction of the substrate web 14. In the space 6 formed in this way, at least in each end area, a body cross-section 7 is inserted, which has the same shape and form-filling and which is composed of blocks or bodies, which are called sealing body parts in the following. So the body wall 7 in Fig. 1 composed of sealing body parts 7a and 7b with a sealing body part 7c forming a pressure-elastic layer. The sealing body part 7c is an intermediate piece.
In the space area 8 between the strip 5 and the sealing body parts 7b, which delimit the front space 6b on the transverse side, the squeegee strip 9 made of at least partially magnetizable material is used, which rests on the sealing body parts 7b in the direction of the double arrow 10, and - as in Fig. 1 shown - can be arranged on the bar 5 with multiple screw connections 11 leaving the mobility.
The squeegee strip 9 has a profile 12 which forms a work area and which can be shaped differently and which in the operating state is on the work surface or the material web 14 abuts.
All the lasts or Parts 2, 5, 7a, 7b, 7c and 9 of the device 1 are joined to one another in a substance-sealing manner, the wall strip 2 in the operating state with a sealing / contact strip 21 which extends over the working width lies against the material web 14 in a substance-sealing manner and also edges or surfaces 71 the sealing body parts 7b rest against the material web 14 in a substance-sealing manner. Thus, between the sealing body parts mentioned, an enclosed space for substance 60 to be applied to the material web 14 is reached, the sealing body parts 7a, 7b, 7c of the body wall 7 crossing the substance space or Form substance-sealing parts on the face side or - as already mentioned - blocks.
Overall, the device 1 is arranged in such a way that the squeegee strip 9 works against the upper side of the vertically running material web 14, which rests or is guided on the roller jacket 13 of a roller which forms a counter-system.
In the area of the underside of the web 14, a magnetic device 15 is arranged in the interior of the counter roll, which preferably comprises a controllable electromagnetic device. With the magnet device 15, the squeegee bar 9, which is mounted for sliding movement, is pressed with its working profile 12 against the material web 14 or pressed the roll shell 13. The effective width of the magnet device 15 can be determined by the in FIG. 1 magnetic device 16 shown in dashed lines can be expanded to magnetically detect a bar 17 made of magnetizable material arranged on the wall bar 2 in the area of the contact bar 21. In the exemplary embodiment, the bar 17 which is continuous over the working width is arranged in a profile cavity 61 of the wall bar 2 which is formed under the substance space 6.
It is particularly expedient to arrange heating devices 18 in the cavity 61 of the wall strip 2 and to provide the wall strip 2 on the outside with a heat insulating wall 19 in order to apply a so-called "hot-melt" substance with the device 1.
The device 1 can be freely pivoted or tilted by means of a swivel joint 20 about an axis 200 parallel to the longitudinal extent of the device 1. The joint 20 is arranged on the wall strip 2 below the substance space corner. In the representation according to Fig. 1 is therefore the center of gravity of the device 1 on the right-hand side of the swivel joint 20, so that the device 1 comes into contact with the roller in preparation for the operating state by pivoting onto the roller under its own weight, the contact strip 21 and the wall edges 71 being substance-sealing on the material web 14 lie on. The contact pressure can be increased by mechanical aids, not shown, or by the magnetic force effect of the expanded magnetic device 16 on the bar 17.
By changing the cross-sectional dimensions, the substance space or the substance contact area or path between the uppermost contact edge 22 of the wall strip 2 and the working area 12 of the doctor strip 9 can be increased or decreased. As a result, the intake amount or the penetration depth of the application substance 20 into the substrate (into the material structure of the web 14) can be influenced.
The coated or otherwise processed web 14 can, with the roller jacket 13 in contact, be continued for a desired distance, in order then to use an oblique trigger z. B. in the direction of arrow 23 or z. B. also to be discharged in the horizontal direction (not shown). In the device according to the invention shown in FIG. 1 embodiment, it is particularly advantageous to provide goods removal in the vertical direction according to arrow 24.
According to Fig. 1, the device 1 is arranged such that the working profile 12 works against the side vertex of the counter roll. Of course, it is also possible for an inventive device of the embodiment according to FIG. 1 is arranged with the working profile 12 above or below the lateral vertex region of a counter roll or on an inclined working surface.
In Fig. 2 is a partial sectional view according to A-B of FIG. 1 shows the body wall 7 with its sealing body parts 7a, 7b and 7c, wherein it forms a substance-side limiting body or sealing body as a whole. The sealing body part 7c, which is an elastic, narrow intermediate piece 7c, is provided as a component of the body wall 7 in the transition region of the spaces 6a and 6b, it being in the narrowest cross section between the squeegee strip 9 and the wall strip 2. Directional arrows 26 illustrate how the body wall 7 acts against the web 14 or, respectively, by the action of the pressure-elastic sealing body part 7c, which is inserted between the sealing body parts 7a and 7b. the roller jacket 13 is pressed, a corresponding counterforce pressing the body wall 7 against the wall of the wall strip 2.
The body wall 7 or the sealing body part 7b can be made entirely or partially of magnetizable material in order to bring the body wall 7 with the edge 71 of the sealing body part 7b under the action of the magnet device 15 to the tight sealing contact against the web 14. The contact edge 71 of the sealing body part 7b of the roller jacket counter-system 13 is adapted in a form-fitting manner in order to reliably prevent lateral substance passage. Particularly when the body wall 7 is magnetically attracted to the web 14 or the roller jacket 13, the elastic sealing body part 7c can also be omitted.
Fig. 3 shows a detail of an embodiment variant of a device according to FIG. 1. In contrast to Fig. 1, the squeegee strip 9 can optionally consist of magnetizable or non-magnetizable material. For this purpose, the guide bar 5 is at least partially made of magnetizable material. The magnet device 15 thus magnetically attracts the bar 5, but in addition the squeegee bar 9 can also be designed to be magnetizable in order to press it magnetically onto the web 14. On the rear side of the guide bar 5 facing away from the material web 14, a plate 27 is arranged which protrudes beyond the guide bar 5 into the area of the rear of the doctor bar. The plate 27 is clamped between the bar 5 and the spacer sleeve 4 by means of the screw 3.
With magnetic attraction of the guide bar 5, the protruding plate edge acts in the direction of arrow 28 via an elastic element 29 on the back of the squeegee bar 9 in order to press it against the roller jacket 13 with its working profile 12.
A special embodiment consists in that the elastic sealing body part 7c of the sealing body wall 7 is designed to be elastically softer or more flexible than the elastic element 29, as a result of which a greater contact pressure is built up in the contact area of the working profile 12 than in the contact area of the edge 71 of the sealing body part 7b. If the elastic element 29 as shown in Fig. 3 is designed as an elastic hollow body extending over the length of the squeegee and if this hollow body is filled with medium under pressure, the contact pressure along the uppermost contact edge 22 of the wall bar 2 can be varied by adjusting the pressure filling and adjusted or adjusted as required the interplay of the contact pressure on the working profile 12 and the contact pressure on the contact edge 22 can be varied.
Fig. 4 shows a modification of the device according to FIG. 1 shows a further embodiment according to the invention. A recess slot 30 is formed in the guide bar 5, into which the doctor bar 9 is inserted so as to be movable. As in the embodiment according to FIG. 1, the squeegee bar 9 alone can be made of magnetizable material, or the contact pressure can at least additionally take place by means of the magnetizable guide bar 5. In the latter case, the elastic element 29 is used in a free space 300 of the slot recess on the back of the squeegee strip 9.
When setting up according to Fig. 4, the wall 31 of the slot recess 30 lies against the edges of the sealing body parts 7b in a substance-sealing manner. At the end of the wall 31 facing the application area, an additional substance space 32 is formed, which extends in front of the squeegee work profile 12 between the work surface and the edge of the wall 31. A shape of the sealing body part 7b, which thus has the same cross-section and a form-fitting fit, projects into this spatial area in order to prevent lateral substance leakage.
In Fig. 5, one of the Fig. 2 shows the same view of a sealing body wall 7, this is provided with a sealing body part 7b, which is not as in FIG. 2 with a contact surface, but in the contact region with the web 14 with a cutting edge 701. A sealing body wall 7 with the sealing body part 7b formed in this way can be provided in the middle of the working width or at other desired locations on the working width. With several sealing body walls 7 according to FIG. 5, distinct substance spaces are formed across the working width. It has been achieved that different substances, in particular different color substances from the individual substance spaces between the sealing body walls 7 are applied next to one another in a clear demarcation.
The cutting edge 701 need only be formed directly in front of the working profile 12, while the sealing body part 7b otherwise has a contact surface according to FIG. 2 can be shaped. By using several sealing body parts 7 with a substance separation and sealing edge 701 according to FIG. 5, several different substances can be applied to produce a strip coating.
In Fig. 6 is on the left side of a vertically guided path 14, which is movable in the direction of arrow 24, a device according to the invention similar to FIG. 1, Fig. 3 or Fig. 4, which is movable transversely to the material web 14, in particular pivotable, as in FIG. 1, is arranged. The guide bar 5 is provided as an angle profile bar. In this way, screw connections 11, by means of which the squeegee bar 9 is fastened so as to be displaceable transversely to the material web 14, are accessible from the outside for assembly.
In contrast to those in Fig. 1, Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 illustrated embodiments is shown in FIG. 6 a contact surface for the material web 14 is formed as a narrow strip-like surface 131 of a contact angle profile strip 33, which, for. B. is fastened with screw connections 34 to a profile carrier 132, which is designed as a so-called magnetic bar, in which the magnetic devices 15 are inserted. The profile strip 33 with the surface 131 is made of non-magnetizable material, so that the magnetic force of the magnetic device 15 can act on the magnetized doctor blade 9 unhindered via the working profile 12. The surface 131 is not only provided and designed as a contact / counter surface for the working profile 12 of the squeegee bar 9, but also as a rear side application surface 121 on the web 14.
The magnetic bar profile carrier 132 is arranged stationary, at least in the operating state, so that the spatial position of the squeegee strip 9 is determined by the surface 131 or is determined by the contact area of this surface on the web 14.
The substance to be applied to the web 14 can either be supplied from one side, in particular if the web 14 has a lattice-shaped structure, or the substance can also be supplied from both sides, the supply being shown in FIG. 6 on the right side by means of a feed device 35 which distributes the substance, which is arranged below the profile carrier 132 and into which the substance enters the opening 37 in the direction of the arrow 36 and in the direction of the arrow 38 through openings 39 upwards in the right-hand side Substance space 40 occurs.
Fig. 7 shows a further exemplary embodiment of a device according to the invention, which is arranged in the region of the upper apex of a counter roll. The roll shell 13 of such a roll is drawn in sections. The carrier 2 is fixed to fastening parts 201. It is either as in Fig. 1 by means of a swivel joint 20 so as to be pivotably and firmly connected to the fastening parts 201, or it is held stationary on fastening parts 201 in the horizontal direction and movable in the vertical direction, so that it is on the surface 13 or lies freely on the web 14 with its own weight. The squeegee bar 9, which is fastened in the vertical direction 10 in a freely movable manner by means of screw connections 11 to a support and holding bar 5, lies with its working profile or The contact area 12 is free on the web 14.
Depending on the required application performance, the work profile 12 is shaped differently and it consists of magnetizable or non-magnetizable material. The squeegee strip 9 is, as in the exemplary embodiments according to FIG. 1, 3, 4 and 6 on the support and holding bar 5 held vertically movable, namely by the screw connection 11 designed accordingly. Of course, the bar 5 can also have a slot recess as in Fig. 4, or the arrangement of the at least partially magnetizable squeegee bar that can be moved by sliding can be done in another suitable manner.
The doctor bar 9 can be formed in one piece or be composed of two or more parts. The strip 5 is attached at both ends laterally with elbows 51 or in another suitable manner to a machine frame part, not shown, such as a support plate. Likewise, the parts 201 and a joint part of the joint 20 are firmly connected to the machine frame part, so that the support 2 and the bar 5 are connected to one another as firmly as in the previously described exemplary embodiments.
Thus, between the carrier 2 and the squeegee bar 9 resting on the holding bar 5, there is a precisely delimited or A spaced substance space 6 is formed, in which the shape-limiting bodies 7, which in turn are cross-sectionally and form-fittingly fit, form-fittingly delimiting the space 6 on the transverse side, preferably in an arrangement movable in the longitudinal direction of the doctor device. The sealing bodies 7 are positively adapted to the shape of the working profile 12 in the contact area. For the substance-sealing contact of the sealing bodies 7 against the web 14, a contact surface according to FIG. 2 and / or a cutting edge 701 according to FIG. 5 trained.
The substance is fed into space 6 from above, either by hand or by suitable devices. When using solvent-containing substances, the space 6 above z. B. closed with a lid, not shown. This is then provided with suitable inlet openings for connection to substance supply lines.
From Fig. 7 it can also be seen that the shape or the actual work / application profile 12 of the squeegee bar 9 is not necessarily permanent contact with the support 14 or the guide 14 Roll surface area 13 must have. In a number of applications it is particularly advantageous that the working profile 12 touches the web 14 in the area in which the web 14 is just lifting off the surface 13 or has already been lifted off, as shown in FIG. 7 is shown.
In the same way as in the previously described exemplary embodiments, a device according to the invention as shown in FIG. 7 instead of a curved support surface 13, a flat, horizontally extending support surface can be provided. Of course, the wall bar 2 is then adapted with its contact surface to the flat work surface.
In contrast to the previously described exemplary embodiments, the wall strip 2 in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 7 in the area of the wall strip surface 210 and the contact edge 22 do not necessarily have to be in contact with the contact surface contact on the web 14, since the gravitational effect of the application substance acts on the area below the contact edge 22 to a considerably lesser extent due to the spatial arrangement of the device above the web 14 e.g. B. in the arrangement according to Fig. 1. In the moving state of the web 14, a highly viscous or substance containing solids does not exert any substance pressure on the area under the contact edge 22, so that a line contact arrangement of the contact edge 22 is sufficient.
Fig. 8 shows in cross section a further embodiment of a device according to the invention, which for the most part is in combination with the one shown in FIG. 1, 3, 4 and 7 shown embodiment variants is constructed.
A web 14 to be provided with substance is guided in a horizontal plane in a straight line over a flat table 150 into which the magnet device 15 is inserted. The direction of movement of the web, the z. B. an endless conveyor belt can be marked with arrow S.
The wall bar 2 consists of a solid load-bearing bar with a rectangular cross-section, into which an elastically deformable sealing and also cleaning - z. B. Foreign body removing - bar 21 is inserted. At the top or the opposite edge of the wall bar 2 is z. B. an additional trough can be removed or removed using a wing nut screw connection attached attachable, the outer edge is designed as a handle.
The wall bar 2 is, as in Fig. 1 shown, with screw connections 3 and spacer sleeves 4 with the holding / guide bar 5, which may is also designed as a pressure bar for the knife doctor bar 9, the doctor blade bar 9, which is movably inserted into a bar recess 30, being secured with a plug connection 110 against undesired sliding out when the device 1 is swung up.
The doctor blade strip 9 or the holding strip 5 or both strips can consist entirely or partially of magnetizable material. If the bar 5 is made of magnetizable material, the bar 5 acts via the magnetic force entering the area 51 (possibly additionally) as an element causing a contact pressure, the contact pressure being caused by the pressure-elastic or pressure-deformable strip or strip-shaped element 29 acts in the direction of the arrow D above it, pressing against the contact area 12 of the doctor blade strip 9.
A substance-limiting body wall 7 is slidably inserted into space 6 in accordance with the cross-sectional fit accuracy that characterizes the invention, or inserted and formed with several sealing body parts and form-fitting sealing against each other.
The side of the substrate web 14 facing each end-side sealing wall 7, which forms a whole body, consists of a profile strip inserted in the end-side end region of the device 1, which forms a sealing body part 7d and on whose side walls pressure-elastic and sealing strip elements are attached, which form sealing body parts 7c and the like The longitudinal extent is equal to the longitudinal extent of the sealing body part 7d.
One of the sealing body parts 7c rests on the wall strip 2, another on the doctor blade 9 in its lower region. For this purpose, the wall 31 of the bar 5 facing the space 6 is shortened to form a recess 52.
The sealing body part 7c filling the recess 52 bears against the squeegee strip 9 and the substrate surface 14 in a pressure-elastic manner.
In the upper region of the space 6, sealing body parts 7e are inserted on the front side, to which further sealing sealing body parts 7c are assigned, the front sealing body parts 7e resting on the sealing body parts 7d by means of the assigned sealing body parts 7c.
In the case of Fig. 8 shown embodiment, each of the two end sealing body parts 7e is designed as a cuboid sealing strip. On the part of the sealing body part 7e which extends in the end region of the device 1, a slot-like recess 41 which is open on the end and on the longitudinal side is formed and is penetrated by the screw / sleeve connection 3, 4 arranged on the end of the device 1. The slot recess 41 is dimensioned in the longitudinal direction of the sealing body part 7e in such a way that the latter can be displaced relative to the screw 3 and the sleeve 4 in the longitudinal direction of the device.
The fork-like wall parts of the slot recess 41 protrude on the face end of the device 1, or on the fork parts protruding handling parts are attached on the end face to move the sealing body part 7e by means of the protruding parts or to be able to bring it into a desired position. By pushing the two sealing body parts 7e far in, the substance space above the sealing body parts 7d is reduced to the desired extent in the longitudinal direction of the device.
The two sealing body parts 7d with their lateral sealing body parts 7c are so long that they can be inserted into the device up to the mutual impact system. Even in the case of an impact system, the sealing body parts 7d still protrude from the front of the device, or handling parts protruding from the front are attached at their outer front ends in order to be able to bring the sealing body parts 7d into a desired insertion position by means of the protruding parts.
Of course, the previously described devices according to the invention can also be provided with sealing body parts 7e and 7d which can be operated from the end faces in the form of strips, as is shown, for example, in FIG. B. in Fig. 7 is shown in dashed lines. A special embodiment also consists in that sealing body parts 7e and / or 7d as sealing strips for forming the substance space 40 of the device according to FIG. 6 are inserted into the space between the profile carrier 132 and the substrate web 14.
A major advantage of the formed or with the sealing body parts 7e and 7d divided space 6 consists in that the width of the substance contact area on the substrate web 14, ie the width determined by the lower space set between the sealing body parts 7d. H. the application width can be changed independently of the longitudinal dimension of the upper filling space set between the sealing body parts 7e. This enables the following in particular:
At the end of operation or in the event of a temporary interruption in operation, the lower substance space opposite the substrate surface 14 can be completely closed by pushing the two sealing body parts 7d together (with strip sealing body parts 7c attached to them) until the inner end faces come into abutment with one another. As a result, the substance is displaced upward and held in the remaining upper residual space between the inner end faces of the two sealing body parts 7e.
Similar to Fig. 1 or 7, the wall strip 2 is pivotally mounted on a machine frame, not shown, by means of a swivel joint 20. In particular with the lower space closed by inserted strip sealing body parts 7d, the device 1 can be shown in FIG. 8 position shown in broken lines are pivoted by approximately 120 °, as a result of which the substance located in the upper space 6 flows into the additional trough 63. This can be removed by loosening the fastening, so that the substance can be removed without loss and contamination. In the reverse order, the additional trough 63 is filled and the device 1 is loaded with substance. A sloping outer surface 64 is very advantageously formed on the bottom of the additional trough 63, which comes to rest against a support surface 65 after the device 1 has been swung up.
