Die bekannten Rollrakelgeräte sind daher für jede von einem Rollendurchmesser abhängige Auftragungsart und/oder jede Auftragungsbreite besonders angepaßt auszulegen und zur Verfügung zu halten, wobei insbesondere in einer Auftragungsmaschine mit mehreren Druckstationen unterschiedlich dimensionierte Teile bereitgehalten und in spezieller Zuordnung für jede Druckstation montiert werden müssen. Dabei gewährleistet das zwischen dem Ende der Rakelrolle und dem Rollentrag-/Führungskörper vorgesehene Rollenbefestigungsteil die im Einzelfall gewünschte Anpassung, wobei es in stets gleicher Ausführung zur Verfügung gehalten sein kann. Im ganzen ist sehr vorteilhaft eine zusammensteckbare Verbindung des Rollentrag-/Führungskörpers mit der Rakelrolle und dem auf mindestens ein Ende der Rakelrolle aufsteckbaren Rollenbefestigungsteil erreicht. Die gesamte im montierten Zustand einteilig handhabbare Steckanordnung beläßt mit ihren Teilen einen ausreichenden Spiel- oder Begrenzungsraum zum führenden Halten von Rakelrollen unterschiedlicher Durchmesser und Längen. Es sind erhebliche Vorteile hinsichtlich Wirtschaftlichkeit und Handhabung erreicht. Dank der modulartigen Steckbauweise ist eine relativ kurze Rüstzeit bzw. Demontagezeit gewährleist, wobei Steckteile derart einfach bauen, daß sie insbesondere ohne Verwendung von Werkzeug handhabbar sind. Für jede Auftragungsmaschine bzw. für jede Druckstation ist auch bei Verwendung von Rakelrollen unterschiedlicher Längen und/oder Durchmesser nur ein und dieselbe Dimensionierung bzw. Beabstandung der Rollentrag-/Führungskörper erforderlich. Die Leiste ist zweckmäßig als Permanentmagnet 341 ausgeführt. Claims (24)

  1. Roller doctor apparatus (1) for applying material, such as optionally foamable substances of different viscosity, coating substances, varnishes, adhesives, pastes, etc. to a substrate, such as a material web, with at least one doctor roller (2) magnetically chargeable for exerting pressure and extending in the longitudinal direction of the apparatus (application width), and with roller supporting and guide members (11) arranged laterally on the apparatus and between which the doctor roller is held for rotation and for being varied in position in boundaries of a cage-like receptacle, characterized in that the doctor apparatus (1) comprises at least one roller fixing part (3/30), which is fitted loosely onto one end of the doctor roller (2) and is connected by a plug connection (10) to the adjacent lateral roller supporting and guiding member (11).
  2. Roller doctor apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that on each of the two roller ends is fitted a roller fixing part (3) each connected by plug connection (10) to the adjacent lateral roller supporting and guiding member (11).
  3. Roller doctor apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the roller fixing part (3) is designed as an application width-determining (lateral) substance limiting part (30).
  4. Roller doctor apparatus according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that, on the side remote from the doctor roller (2), the roller fixing part (3) has a guide recess (31) or groove, in which engages the roller supporting and guiding member (11), the roller fixing part being positionally variable to a limited extent through the plug connection with the roller supporting and guiding member (11) and with the doctor roller (2).
  5. Roller doctor apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the roller fixing part (3) has a bushing-like receptacle (32), such as a recess or bore, loosely holding the roller end over the roller circumference.
  6. Roller doctor apparatus according to claim 4, characterized in that the receptacle (32) is open in the area facing the substrate (4) (application area).
  7. Roller doctor apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the doctor roller (21) is provided with a journal (20) on which is fitted the roller fixing part (3).
  8. Roller doctor apparatus according to claim 7, characterized in that the roller supporting and guiding member (11) comprises a receptacle (12), such as a cage-like recess (121) and/or a web part (122), each of which receives the free end of the journal (20) passing through the roller fixing part (3).
  9. Roller doctor apparatus according to claim 8, characterized in that the receptacle (12) has at least one slanted butting face (13), which comes into guiding engagement on the free journal end when the doctor roller (2) is in a tilted or skewed position, in particular at least two butting faces (131, 132) being positioned in a frustum-cone-shaped manner to one another, when seen in cross-section .
  10. Roller doctor apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that a preferably axially adjustable guide journal (14), on which is fitted the roller fixing part (3), is arranged on the roller supporting and guiding member (11).
  11. Roller doctor apparatus according to claim 10, characterized in that the doctor roller (2) is frontally provided with a receptacle (23), such as a recess or bore, into which projects the free end of the guide journal (14).
  12. Roller doctor apparatus according to claim 11, characterized in that at least one slanted butting face (24) is provided on the bottom of the roller receptacle (15), which face comes into guiding engagement on the free end of the guide journal (14) when the doctor roller (2) is in a tilted or skewed position, in particular at least two butting faces (241, 242) are in frustum-cone-shaped manner to one another, when seen in cross-section.
  13. Roller doctor apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the roller doctor apparatus (1) comprises at least one substance limiting member (33) fitted loosely on the doctor roller (2) and determining the application width, which member is open in the area facing the substrate (4) and is displaceable and fixable on the doctor apparatus, particularly on a supporting crossbeam (15) extending in the longitudinal direction of the apparatus.
  14. Roller doctor apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 13, characterized in that a substance limiting ledge (34) extending over the application width is arranged between two roller fixing parts (3) and/or lateral substance limiting members (33) fitted onto the two roller ends and is connected detachably to said parts and members, respectively, particularly by plug connection.
  15. Roller doctor apparatus according to claim 14, characterized in that the substance limiting ledge (341) engages on the doctor roller (2) along the application width and in particular comprises a holding magnet magnetically attracting the doctor roller and optionally pivotable about an axis parallel to the longitudinal direction of the apparatus.
  16. Roller doctor apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 15, characterized in that a securing part (111) locking the plug connections of the doctor apparatus (1) is arranged on the roller supporting and guiding member (11), which securing part engages over the roller fixing part (3) in a locking position and therefore prevents its removal from the roller supporting and guiding member (11), whilst in a release position it permits the removal of the roller fixing part, together with the doctor roller (2).
  17. Roller doctor apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 16, characterized in that the roller fixing part (3) is displaceable in the direction of the roller axis and is optionally fixable in a displacement position on the doctor apparatus (1).
  18. Roller doctor apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 17, characterized in that the roller supporting and guiding member (11) is displaceable in the direction of the axis of the doctor roller (2), and is fixable.
  19. Roller doctor apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 18, characterized in that the roller supporting and guiding member (11) is fixed to a supporting crossbeam (14) extending over the application width of the apparatus (1).
  20. Roller doctor apparatus according to claim 19, characterized in that the supporting crossbeam (15) is designed as a substance supply line (151) optionally having a distribution channel (153).
  21. Roller doctor apparatus according to claim 19, characterized in that a substance supply line (151), preferably a substance supply pipe, is arranged in the supporting crossbeam (15), which line/pipe has at least one substance outlet (152) issuing into a crossbeam outlet.
  22. Roller doctor apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 21, characterized in that the lateral substance limiting parts and/or members (30, 31) comprise slanting faces (35) guiding the substance (7) to the doctor roller (2).
  23. Roller doctor apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 22, characterized in that an optionally magnetizable loading roller engaging with the doctor roller and extending therewith is arranged on the side of doctor roller (2) remote from the substrate (4), which loading roller, in the same way as the doctor roller, is held in plug connection between the roller supporting and guiding members (11) with the fittable roller fixing parts (3).
  24. Roller doctor apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 23, characterized in that the surface of the doctor roller (2) is smooth or roughened and/or provided with an elastic covering.
