Abstract

Thieno[1,5]benzodiazepines corresponding to the tricyclic system <IMAGE> substituted in position 10 by an amino group, preferably piperazine, are prepared by reaction of an amine of formula R<5>H with a compound of formula <IMAGE> The new compounds thus obtained, which can also exist in the form of their acid addition salts, have a pharmacological activity on the central nervous system.
