Description
Boiler for the production of hot water or steam Boilers and hot water generators known at the present time have various drawbacks, the main one of which is constituted by a poor calorific efficiency due to the fact that the hot gases s' escape to the outside before being able to cool down sufficiently. The most obvious proof of the importance of the loss of calories which
The result is that, in all the known boilers, the tubes serving for the outlet of the fumes are in practice brought red so that it is materially impossible to touch them without risking burning oneself.
The object of the invention is to alleviate these serious drawbacks and has for object a boiler for the production of hot water or steam, which is characterized in that it comprises several coaxial cylindrical bodies each consisting of an annular water chamber. , closed at their upper part and opening at their lower part above a common hearth,
these bodies being connected to each other by radial tubes and the spaces which separate them and which are traversed by the smoke from the hearth being connected to each other by openings passing through the annular chambers of the various bodies to communicate with a common fireplace.
The drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which FIG. 1 is a section along the axis of the boiler, FIG. 2 is an elevation view thereof.
In the figures, the tapered base. a on which the assembly is mounted, carries a grid b which separates the base from the fireplace d. The water inlet is provided by the pipe e and the different boiler bodies h each consist of a double-walled chamber.
These boiler bodies forming annular water chambers of increasing diameters are arranged coaxially. Each body slightly exceeds in height the body which immediately follows it inside and is connected to it by radial interconnection pipes i arranged at the base of the bodies for the water inlet <RTI
ID = "0001.0080"> cooled and at the top of these for hot water, the pipes thus placed at the top of the bodies being stepped to facilitate the circulation of hot water.
The smoke outlet or common chimney l communicates with the openings j crossing the different bodies at their upper part to allow the fumes coming from the hearth and rising inside the different bodies to pass through,
said chimney. The hot water is evacuated via the evacuation pipe m leading to the upper part of the outdoor boiler. The boiler bodies are removable.
We see more particularly in FIG. 2 the broken car mounted on the tapered base a with its various accessories and registers, namely: the opening f for unloading and cleaning the hearth, opening g for loading the hearth, the cleaning registers k soot accumulated by the fumes and the ashtray with its air inlet.
