Ammoniak, 25 Teile krist. Kupfersulfat in 100 Teilen Wasser zulaufen gelassen.
Process for the preparation of a copper-containing disazo dye. The present patent is a process for the preparation of a kupferhalti gene disazo dye. The process is characterized in that diazotized 4-nitro-4'-amino-stilbene-2,2'-disulfonic acid is mixed with 1.
- Amino - 2 - ethoxynaphthalene - 6 - sulfonic acid couples, the aminoazo dye is further diazo- tated and combined with 2-benzoylamino-5-oxynaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid to form the disazo dye, and finally the dye obtained in this way by treatment with. transferring copper into the complex copper compound.
The new copper-containing disazo dye is a dark powder that dissolves in water with a green-blue color and colors cellulose fibers in blue-tinged green shades of very good lightfastness. Example: -10 parts of 4-nitro-4'-amino-stilbene-2,2'-disulphonic acid are diazotized in the usual way and the diazo compound is converted into a weakly acidic solution of 27 parts of 1-amino - Let 2-ethoxy-naphthalene-6-sulfonic acid run in.
The monoazo dye formed is further diazotized at 16 to 20 and diazotized out for several hours. The diazo connection is made with. weng potassium chloride precipitated out, filtered off and washed with water.
Then it is stirred with water at 0 to 3 and a soda-alkaline solution of 34 parts of 2-benzoylamino-5-oxy-naphthalen-7-sulfonic acid, which contains about 10 percent by volume of pyridine, is run in. When the coupling is complete, the disazo dye formed is precipitated with sodium chloride, isolated and purified by washing. The dye is then one of the known methods, for.
B. in the following way, converted into the copper complex compound: For the hot aqueous solution of the dye, a solution containing 50 parts of conc. Ammonia, 25 parts crystall. Copper sulfate allowed to run in 100 parts of water. It is then heated to 90 to 95 for 16 to 20 hours, the copper complex formed is isolated by precipitation with sodium chloride and net getrock.
The metallized dye is a dark powder which dissolves in water with a green-blue color and, when dyed on cellulose fibers, gives bluish green shades of very good lightfastness.
