Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen liondensationsproduktes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem neuen Kondensationsprodukt gelangt, wenn man Laurinsäure-N-methylolamid in Gegen wart einer Säure mit ss-merkapto-äthansulfon- saurem Natrium umsetzt.
Die Umsetzung wird zweckmässig in Ge genwart eines Lösungsmittels, wie Eisessig, Dioxan, vorgenommen. Als Säure kann bei spielsweise Salzsäure, Schwefelsäure, Essig säure Anwendung finden.
Das neue Kondensationsprodukt ist eine feste, farblose Masse, die von heissem Wasser zu einer klaren, beim Schütteln stark schäu menden Lösung aufgenommen wird. Es kann als Textilhilfsstoff verwendet werden.
<I>Beispiel:</I> Man löst 1 Gewichtsteil @-mei-kapto-ätban- sulfonsaures Natrium oder die entsprechende Menge eines anorganischen Salzes, wie Na triumsulfat und Natriumchlorid, enthaltenden Präparates in 15 Volumteilen Wasser, fügt 1,1 Gewichtsteile Laurinsäure - N - methylol- amid und 25 Volumteile Eisessig hinzu und erhitzt unter Rühren während 3/4 Stunden auf 90 bis 960. Man filtriert von gegebenenfalls ungelösten Anteilen ab und verdampft unter vermindertem Druck zur Trockne.
Das neue Kondensationsprodukt hinterbleibt in Form einer festen, farblosen Masse, die von heissem Wasser zu einer klaren, beim Schütteln stark schäumenden Lösung aufgenommen wird.

The new condensation product is a solid, colorless mass that is absorbed by hot water to form a clear solution which foams strongly when shaken. It can be used as a textile auxiliary.
<I> Example: </I> Dissolve 1 part by weight of sodium @ -mei-kapto-ätban- sulfonic acid or the corresponding amount of an inorganic salt, such as sodium sulfate and sodium chloride, in 15 parts by volume of water, add 1.1 parts by weight of lauric acid - N - methylolamide and 25 parts by volume of glacial acetic acid are added and the mixture is heated to 90 to 960 for 3/4 hours while stirring. Any undissolved components are filtered off and evaporated to dryness under reduced pressure.
The new condensation product remains in the form of a solid, colorless mass that is absorbed by hot water to form a clear solution that foams strongly when shaken.
