Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein neues Kondensationsprodukt erhält, wenn man das N-*-#Iethylolamid aus gehärteter Tranfettsäure in Gegenwart einer Säure auf Thioharnstoff einwirken lässt.
Die Umsetzung wird zweckmässig in Ge genwart eines Lösungsmittels, wie Alkohol, Eisessig, vorgenommen.
Das neue Kondensationsprodukt stellt in Form des Chlorhydrates ein annähernd farb loses, kristallines Pulver dar, das in organi schen Lösungsmitteln, wie Alkohol, Eisessig, Dioxan, löslich ist und beim Verdünnen der alkoholischen Lösung mit Wasser eine beim Schütteln stark schäumende Lösung ergibt, die sich beim Kochen oder auf Zusatz von Alkalien unter Bildung einer in Wasser un löslichen Verbindung zersetzt. Das neue Kon densationsprodukt kann als Textilhilfsstoff, insbesondere zum waschechten Wasserabsto ssend- und Weichmachen von Textilien, An wendung finden.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 150 Teile Amid aus gehärteter Tranfett- säure werden unter Rühren mit. 7,5 Teilen Dimethylcyclohexylamin und 18 Teilen Para- formaldehyd während 4 Stunden auf 105 bis 110 0 erhitzt. Das Reaktionsprodukt wird zu gegeben zu einer Lösung von 46 Teilen Thio- harnstoff in 750 Vol.-Teilen Alkohol und er hitzt, bis alles gelöst ist.
Hierauf wird unter Rühren auf<B>501'</B> abgekühlt, wobei ein Teil ausfällt und 90 Vol.-Teile alkoholische Salz- säure von 25% zugegeben. Bei einer Tem- peratur von 50-551 wird während einer Stunde weiter gerührt, wobei das zuerst aus gefallene Produkt langsam wieder in Lösung geht.
Nach Filtration von Unreinigkeiten wird abkühlen gelassen, wobei das annähernd farb lose, kristallinische Kondensationsprodukt aus fällt. Es wird filtriert uud im. Vakuum bei gewöhnlicher Temperatur getrocknet. Aus beute 164 Teile.
Das neue Produkt ist in organischen Lö- sungsmitteln löslich. Die beim Verdünnen der alkoholischen Lösung mit Wasser erhaltene Lösung schäumt beim Schütteln und zersetzt sich beim Kochen oder bei Zusatz von Al kalien.
