  Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent     Nr.    109154.    Verfahren zur     Ilerstelluug    eines komplex gebundenes Metall enthaltenden     Farbstoffes,       Es wurde gefunden,     dass    ein komplex  gebundenes Metall enthaltender Farbstoff  hergestellt werden kann, wenn man den  Farbstoff der Formel

    ein kupferabgebendes Mittel und     Glykokoll     aufeinander einwirken     lässt.     



  Der erhaltene Farbstoff stellt ein wasser  lösliches, rotes Pulver dar, das Leder in  roten Tönen färbt.  



  Eine zweckmässige Ausführungsform des  Verfahrens besteht darin,     dass    zuerst durch  Umsetzung von     Glykokoll    mit einem kupfer  abgebenden Mittel das Kupfersalz des     Glyko-          kolls    hergestellt und letzteres mit dem Farb  stoff umgesetzt wird;     Glykokollkupfer    hydro-         lysiert    in alkalischer Lösung nicht oder nur  wenig und kann deshalb in alkalischen Me  dien zur Anwendung gelangen.  



       In-i    ferneren kann das Verfahren auch  derart durchgeführt werden,     dass    auf den  Farbstoff, der unter Verwendung der üblichen  kupferabgebenden Mittel, wie z. B. Kupfer  sulfat, in die Kupferverbindung übergeführt  worden ist,     Glykokoll    einwirken gelassen  wird.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>  <B>25</B> Teile des     Farbstoffes    der Formel

         (Alizarinrot   <B>S,</B> Schultz,     Farbstofftabellen,          VII.    Auflage,     Nr.    1145) werden in<B>1000</B> Tei  len Wasser von<B>800</B> mit 12 Teilen     CrlykoT              kollkupfer    versetzt, worauf sich sofort die  weinrote Lösung der komplexen     Glykokoll-          kupferverbindung    des Farbstoff es bildet. Diese  kann durch Eindampfen im Vakuum isoliert  werden.

<B>PATENTANSPRUCH:</B> Verfahren zur Herstellung eines komplex gebundenes Metall enthaltenden Farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man den Farb stoff der Formel EMI0002.0005 ein kupferabgebendes Mittel und Glykokoll aufeinander einwirken lässt. Der erhaltene Farbstoff stellt ein wasser lösliches, rotes Pulver dar, das Leder in roten Tönen färbt.
