  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 190154.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines komplex gebundenes Metall enthaltenden     Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass ein     komplex    ge  bundenes Metall enthaltender Farbstoff her  gestellt werden kann, wenn man Blauholz  extrakt, ein kupferabgebendes Mittel und       Glykokoll    aufeinander einwirken lässt.  



  Der erhaltene Farbstoff stellt ein in Was  ser lösliches blaues Pulver dar, das Baum  wolle in blauen Tönen färbt.  



  Eine zweckmässige Ausführungsform des  Verfahrens besteht darin, dass zuerst durch  Umsetzung von     Glykokoll    mit einem kupfer  abgebenden Mittel das Kupfersalz des     Glyko-          kolls    hergestellt und letzteres mit dem Farb  stoff umgesetzt wird;     Glykokollkupfer        hy-          drolysiert    in alkalischer Lösung nicht oder  nur wenig und kann deshalb in alkalischen  Medien zur Anwendung gelangen.  



  Im ferneren kann das Verfahren auch  derart durchgeführt werden, dass auf den  Farbstoff, der unter Verwendung der übli  chen kupferabgebenden Mittel, z. B. Kupfer  sulfat, in die Kupferverbindung übergeführt    worden ist,     Glykokoll    einwirken gelassen  wird.  



  Beispiel  2 Teile hochoxydierter     Blauholzextrakt          (in    pulveriger Handelsform) werden in 100  Teilen 80   warmem Wasser gelöst und mit  einer Lösung von 1 bis 2 Teilen     Glykokoll-          kupfer    in 10 Teilen Wasser versetzt. Es bil  det sich aus der roten Lösung des Extraktes  sofort die blaue Lösung der komplexen     Glyko-          kollkupferverbindung,    die durch Eindampfen  im Vakuum isoliert werden     kann.

  The dye obtained is a blue powder which is soluble in water and which dyes the cotton in blue tones.



  An expedient embodiment of the method consists in that the copper salt of the glycol is first produced by reacting glycoll with a copper-releasing agent and the latter is reacted with the dye; Glycocopper does not hydrolyze or only slightly hydrolyzes in alkaline solution and can therefore be used in alkaline media.



  Furthermore, the method can also be carried out in such a way that the dye which is produced using the usual copper-releasing agents, e.g. B. copper sulfate, has been converted into the copper compound, glycocoll is allowed to act.



  EXAMPLE 2 parts of highly oxidized blue wood extract (in powdered commercial form) are dissolved in 100 parts of 80% warm water and a solution of 1 to 2 parts of glycollic copper in 10 parts of water is added. The blue solution of the complex glycol copper compound is formed immediately from the red solution of the extract, which can be isolated by evaporation in a vacuum.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines komplex gebundenes Metall enthaltenden Farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Blauholz extrakt, ein kupferabgebendes Mittel und Glykokoll aufeinander einwirken lässt. Der erhaltene Farbstoff stellt ein in Was ser lösliches blaues Pulver dar, das Baum wolle in blauen Tönen färbt. <B>UNTERANSPRÜCHE:</B> 1. Verfahren nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man das Kupfersalz des Glykokolls auf den Farbstoff einwir ken lässt. 2.
