Description

  

      Zusatzpatent    zum     Hauptpatent    Nr. 141535.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines metallhaltigen     Farbstores.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen  metallhaltigen Farbstoff erhält wenn man  den Farbstoff aus     diazotiertem        4-Chlor-2-          amino-l-phenol    und     Resorcin    in einem Me  dium, dessen     Pti    nicht grösser als 10 ist, mit  einem Salz des dreiwertigen Eisens behan  delt.  



  Der erhaltene Farbstoff stellt ein dunkel  braunes Pulver dar, das sich in Natronlauge  mit tiefbraunroter und in konzentrierter  Schwefelsäure mit braungelber Farbe löst.  Aus der braunen Lösung des Farbstoffes in       Zaponlack    erhält man auf Metallfolien  braune Überzüge von guter Lichtechtheit.    <I>Beispiel:</I>  2,63 Gewichtsteile des Farbstoffes aus       diazotiertem        4-Chlor-2-amino-l-phenol    und       Resorcin    werden in 200 Teilen Wasser ge  löst und mit 4 Teilen     Ferrioxalat    unter Zu  satz von     2/;s    der äquivalenten Menge Na  triumacetat einige Stunden zum Sieden er  hitzt.

   Die entstehende Eisenverbindung    scheidet sich zum grössten Teile aus und  wird nach dem Erkalten der Reaktions  lösung durch Zugabe von etwas Kochsalz  völlig abgeschieden.  



  Die Behandlung mit.     Ferrioxalat    führt  zum gleichen Resultat, wenn man dem Reak  tionsgemisch statt     Natriumacetat    andere Zu  sätze, wie zum Beispiel     Natriumformiat,     Kochsalz oder     Natriumsulfit,    beigibt.

Der erhaltene Farbstoff stellt ein dunkel braunes Pulver dar, das sich in Natronlauge mit tiefbraunroter und in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit braungelber Farbe löst.
