Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines chromhaltigen Azofarbstofes. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatzpa tentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines chromhaltigen Azofarbstoffes, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man den Azofarbatoff aus dianotierter 3-Chlor-2-amino- benzol-1-karbonsäure und 1-(2',4'-Dimethyl- 6'-sulfophenyl)-3-methyl-5-pyrazolon mit einem chromabgebenden Mittel behandelt.
Beispiel: 464,5 Gewichtsteile des Azofarbstoffes aus dianotierter 3-Chlor-2-aminobenzol-l-kar- bonsäureund 1-(2',4'-Dimethyl-6'.sulfophenyl)- 3-methyl-5-pyrazolon werden in etwa 6000 Gewichtsteilen Wasser gelöst, dazu gibt man 352 Gewichtsteile Chromfluorid, entsprechend Q84 Gewichtsteilen Chromoxyd, und hält 20 ,nden am Rückfluss im Sieden.
Nach be- deter Reaktion wird der- Farbstoff ausge- salk-f, abgesaugt und, getrocknet. Die Chro- mierung kann auch mit andern chromabge- benden Mitteln, beispielsweise Chromformiat oder Chromchlorid, durchgeführt werden.
Der so erhaltene chromhaltige Azofarb- stoff stellt ein gelbes Pulver dar, das Wolle aus saurem Bade in gelben Tönen von guten Echtheitseigenschaften färbt.

Example: 464.5 parts by weight of the azo dye from dianotized 3-chloro-2-aminobenzene-1-carboxylic acid and 1- (2 ', 4'-dimethyl-6'.sulfophenyl) -3-methyl-5-pyrazolone are approximately 6000 parts by weight of water are dissolved, 352 parts by weight of chromium fluoride are added, corresponding to 84 parts by weight of chromium oxide, and the mixture is kept boiling at reflux.
After the reaction is complete, the dye is extracted, filtered off with suction and dried. The chromizing can also be carried out with other chromium-releasing agents, for example chromium formate or chromium chloride.
The chromium-containing azo dye obtained in this way is a yellow powder which dyes wool from an acid bath in yellow shades with good fastness properties.
