Verfahren zur Herstellung der gupferkompleaverbindung eines Polyazofarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man wertvolle Dis- und Polyazofarbstoffe, die die Eigen schaft besitzen, besonders lichtechte Metall komplexverbindungen zu geben, erhält, wenn man Diazoverbindungen mit 8-Aminochinolin oder dessen Kernsubstitutionsprodukten kup pelt, die so erhaltenen Aminoazofarbstoffe erneut dianotiert und mit Kupplungskom ponenten vereinigt und die gebildeten sekun dären Dis- und Polyazofarbstoffe mit Metall verbindungen behandelt.
Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich nun auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der Kupfer komplexverbindung eines Polyazofarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Diazo- verbindung des Aminoazofarbstoffes 5-(4'- Sulfophenyl-azo)-8-aminochinolin in alkali schem Medium mit der 2-(3'Carboxyphenyl- amino)-5-iiaphthol-7-sulfosäure kuppelt und den so erhaltenen Disazofarbstoff mit einem Kupfer abgebenden Mittel behandelt.
Der neue Farbstoff ist getrocknet ein dunkles Pulver und löst sich in konzentrierter" Schwefelsäure mit blauer und in Wasser mit rotvioletter Farbe. Er färbt Baumwolle in kräftigen rotstichig blauen Tönen von be sonderer Lichtechtheit. <I>Beispiel:
</I> 5-(4'-Sulfophenyl-azo)-8-aminochinolin (hergestellt durch Diazotieren von 17,3 Teilen Sulfanilsäure und Kuppeln mit der salzsauren Lösung von 14,4 Teilen 8-Aminochinolin unter Zusatz von Natriumacetat) wird in der notwendigen Menge verdünnter Lauge ge löst, mit 6,9 Teilen Natriumnitrit versetzt, worauf diese Mischung in eisgekühlte ver dünnte Salzsäure einläuft.
Nach Beendigung der D.iazotierung wird die Diazoverbindung mit 36 Teilen 2.,(3'-Carboxypheny1-amino)-5- naphthol-7-sulfosäure in Gegenwart von Pyri- din und Soda gekuppelt. Der abgeschiedene Parbstoff wird in Lösung gebracht und diese nach Zusatz von 15 Teilen Natriumacetat und 25 Teilen Kupfersulfat mehrere Stunden zum Sieden erhitzt.
Process for the preparation of the copper complex compound of a polyazo dye. It has been found that valuable dis- and polyazo dyes, which have the property of giving particularly lightfast metal complex compounds, are obtained when diazo compounds are coupled with 8-aminoquinoline or its core substitution products, the aminoazo dyes thus obtained are dianotated again and with coupling components combined and treated the secondary dis- and polyazo dyes formed with metal compounds.
The present patent relates to a process for the preparation of the copper complex compound of a polyazo dye, characterized in that the diazo compound of the aminoazo dye 5- (4'-sulfophenyl-azo) -8-aminoquinoline in an alkaline medium with the 2- ( 3'Carboxyphenyl-amino) -5-iiaphthol-7-sulfonic acid is coupled and the disazo dye thus obtained is treated with a copper-releasing agent.
The new dye is a dark powder when dried and dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a blue color and in water with a red-violet color. It dyes cotton in strong red-tinged blue tones that are particularly lightfast. <I> Example:
</I> 5- (4'-sulfophenyl-azo) -8-aminoquinoline (prepared by diazotizing 17.3 parts of sulfanilic acid and coupling with the hydrochloric acid solution of 14.4 parts of 8-aminoquinoline with the addition of sodium acetate) is in the necessary amount of dilute caustic solution, mixed with 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite, whereupon this mixture runs into ice-cold dilute hydrochloric acid.
After the diazotization has ended, the diazo compound is coupled with 36 parts of 2, (3'-carboxyphenyl-amino) -5-naphthol-7-sulfonic acid in the presence of pyridine and soda. The separated paraffin is brought into solution and, after the addition of 15 parts of sodium acetate and 25 parts of copper sulfate, the solution is heated to boiling for several hours.
